cpn talk: of camping fans, the number 38 and future concerts.

happy monday to everyone! ^^ what better way to start the week than some clowning. i hope this makes it easier for you to get through the day and rest of the week. nothing too ground breaking, just some good old minor cpns i picked up here and there. enjoy~ and yes i used that gif of gege as clickbait! hahahahaha!

i wanna start with a usual observation, the way they do not clash in terms of project promotions. in the past weeks, WoF was in full swing, and now it’s FPU which will most likely continue till it’s release and the week after that. in the meantime, XZ is on radio silence. you still have the usual ads and stock photos from XZS + some random hot searches but nothing else. i have a feeling that after Bobo’s promotions, XZ will come out for LOCH.

and speaking of XZS posting photos, let me direct you to this one. he is holding a fan again. not the 380 yuan but we’ve seen it before and he is using it during his drama filming right now.

so as the clowns that we are, we had to search for it so we can get the same style. how it’s describe on online markets is: F30 handheld rechargeable small fan mini portable wind power household. carry-on fan for camping. camping? interesting. of course you can use outside of that, but with our cpn of them and camping— this is yet another clue. did the same guy who bought him the 380 yuan fan before, searched up something his beloved can use for camping and beyond? they are so cute! i swear! i’m here for this whole soft era of them loving camping and relaxing!

bonus clowning is that the photoset form XZS was posted 19:30 which was the broadcast time for WoF. and considering it was the finale, maybe this was also ZZ’s gift? we already speculate that he is fond of lai lai so it could be…. 🤷🏻‍♀️

moving on to the number 38, which was a recurring number we have noticed from posts made sunday 4/7. 38 zhan bo. 💕 it could mean nothing but somehow, it got me, especially since yibo used it.

now about the future concert of yibo which i screamed about here & here — whether that’s true or not— us cpfs will of course do what we do best. to clown. so here are some points:

1. some are connecting this concert thing to a previous hs related to xz. it was about him and his company adding services which includes concerts. the actual tag was: #xiaozhanstudio adds new commercial performance license#. of course whatever this is, if yibo does hold a concert, it will be under yuehua but i understand where the clowning is coming from.

this comment was so hilarious tho 😂😂😂😂

2. what if yibo invites guests? that’s usual for solo concerts. so we’ve been day dreaming about him singing bu wang, and why not wuji too? and then invite xiao zhan? imagine that. lol. and solos couldn’t even be angry cause wyb invited him. wouldn’t that be amazing?

3. this part in one of xzs vlogs where gg was in an open area and he “jokingly” said something like “Come to my concert, thank you!”

we may be thinking too much about it but what if. what if gege also plans to have a solo concert some time in the future? i know both of them are so focused on being actors but they also have so much passion for performing.

i’m imagining how they both have a bucket list and one entry there is to have a solo concert. i hope we get to witness that come true ✨

FINALLY, with yibo’s post earlier, we saw him playing tennis. so tennis boyfriends at it again! 🎾

Greetings dear Whovians,

Perhaps, it’s time to explain what’s going on with this blog, why it was abandoned and what lies ahead.

Doctor Who as a show ended for me with Peter Capaldi. Period. I tried to give a chance to Jodie Whittaker’s doctor, but even her first episode was a struggle: I could not see the Doctor in her, there was absolutely no chemistry with companions and I couldn’t care less of what’s going on on a screen.

At that point I made a tough decision that I should say goodbye to my favourite show, otherwise it would be ruined and I would grow to hate something that was seared onto my heart.

Looking back and reading comments how the writing went downhill - this perhaps was the best decision as I still have any good memories about the show (even though Capaldi deserved a better writing, especially in his last season).

All these years I avoided spoilers (and Tumblr) and I have no clue what have actually happened in the series - only the fact that it was horrible and they re-wrote things that shouldn’t be touched.

With the news of RTD coming back I was very hesitant to start watching again considering the gap of 3 seasons which I have no intention to close and catch up. But all the trailers looked very intruiging with a definite vibe of ‘good old days’, so I decided to give it a try.

To be completely open with you - not sure how I feel about The Star Beast episode. Despite amazing chemistry between David and Catherine (who didn’t age a day!), excellent references to previous story lines and heartwarming moments, I feel like all this woke agenda was a bit too much and maybe even unnecessary. This is not kind of show when you need to push on a viewer and write a plot twist around it. Don't get me wrong, but overall it looked like a very poor writing just to squeeze to the episode and not the important message.

Speaking of continuity of doctowhoblog.

I started this blog over 12 years ago when I was still at University, then I started my job and things got complicated. I reached the point when I had a very little free time on my hands and wanted to spend it wisely. Tumblr became a time consuming blackhole with no reward in return, so at some point the weight of value of my time overcome the need to be here.

Would I make gifs again? Frankly speaking I do not remember HOW anymore…turned out it’s not like riding a bicycle.

In addition, a lot of things on Tumblr as a platform changed: the last time I made gifs it was 500px with 2mb limit. Now rules have changed and I have no clue what is the standard and where to begin.

Blog Theme is broken, I know. A lot of things needs fixing, starting from post ‘blocks’, as it appears there’s now not only photo and photoset, but also panorama - what the hell is {block:Panorama} Tumblr?! Links are broken and everything is a mess.

Please bare with me, I will try to fix it if my head will not explode of all these new additions and features.

I wouldn’t jump into conclusion that I am back (yet), but there’s some hope that I would appear on this website from time to time (would the show not go downhill again and continue be promising).

Of course I had to include Knuckle going rabid when Youpi ignores Shoot. Mans was already mad as hell at Youpi for injuring his broski, but to insult him by not even trying to murder him?! ❓: Weird/funny/confusing sc with no context

Oh boy I have a lot for this one I may even put them in a rb or make a separate post cause they’re so good!

Just a little about the last one, no one knows the context cause it just happens but here’s what I think happened (because I watched this scene too many times and cried at gon and leorio). Gon appears in the doorway, his friends behind him. We can see Knuckle smiling. Gon is waving to the audience. We see Hanzo also smiling and waving, as if the moment’s for him. At this point in the background, Knuckle isn’t smiling and the next frame we see is this ☝️ so i think Knuckle got pissed at Hanzo for trying to steal Gon’s moment so Knuckle took it into his own…knuckles… even though they are both the best uncles to Gon. anyway thanks for coming to my tedtalk about over analyzing anime scenes

Breaking News: Calum Hood and Y/N Y/L/N Are Dating!

Yes, you read that right. The bassist of 5 Seconds of Summer has committed himself to the YouTube film maker, Y/N.

We do not know much on the subject, but we do know that they have been together for at least a year according to his Instagram post.

He posted a photoset of the pair containing three photos and one video:

1: From Coachella last year, Y/N sitting down with Calum laying down between her legs as they watched the performances.

2: Backstage at a concert from their ongoing tour. Y/N had a hand on his cheek as he smiled down at her.

3: Y/N in his green Empathy hoodie, holding Duke with a grin on her face.

4: The video showed the pair laying on a rooftop, enjoying the stars as they had small conversation. The only thing from the conversation that could truly be heard is Y/N saying, “Are you sure that you’re fine with our relationship being my next film project?”

He replies, “I’m sure that I love you. If that’s what you want to use, I’m more than happy to go public.”

The set was paired with the caption: toku aroha

If you’re wondering what that phrase means, it’s “my love” in Maori.

Just when you thought that the post couldn’t get any sweeter, he puts a beautiful caption like that.

With the post, we were able to find out that Y/N’s film that releases at the end of next week is about her relationship with Calum.

We, personally, are extremely excited to get an insight on the relationship!

You leaned your head on Calum’s shoulder with a small laugh as he finished reading the article.

“What?” he softly asked with a raised eyebrow.

“You’re pretty romantic when you want to be, you know?” you smiled as he wrapped an arm around you, sitting down his phone.

“I feel like you got the definitions of insult and compliment mixed up.”

You rolled your eyes as you looked out across the city of Rome and ate some grapes.

“You know it’s true. For a guy who thinks love is a construct and it sucks and all those other things you were saying, you seem pretty glued to me.”

“That’s because you’re different. I know you won’t take my love for granted. I know that you’re here through thick and thin. I can trust you. I can trust myself when I’m with you because you love me as much as I love you.”

You smiled as you turned to face him, placing a hand on his cheek. “It’s me and you against the world forever. I love you, Calum Hood.”

He closes the space in between you two give you a soft kiss.

The next week, you were sitting on James Corden’s show to talk about your film.

After introductions, you sat down with a smile on your face.

“Welcome on the show!” James exclaimed, “We’re all excited to have you on!”

“I’m thrilled to be here!” you grin as the crowd cheered.

“Now, you’ve made quite a name for yourself in the YouTube community as one of the best short film makers on the platform, but this time you have a full hour and thirty-minute film coming out. Want to tell us more about that?”

“Yes! Ever since my first short film on Youtube, I’ve wanted to make a full somewhat movie, but I never knew what I wanted it to be about. I tossed up so many ideas, but none of them felt right. I was at a complete loss. I kept thinking that I wanted my first film to mean something to me. I wanted it to come from a place of true bliss where I couldn’t be happier to share it with the world.”

James nodded, “That’s where Calum came in?”

You let out a small laugh, “Kind of. When we first started dating, I immediately got this idea of a story about us and our journey to finding each other, but I never brought it up because he’s a private person.”

“How long into the relationship did you bring it up?”

“Five months. We started seriously filming six months ago.”

“You put all of this together in six months? That’s absolutely crazy. How did you manage that?”

“I enlisted two of the best guys I know to help film and edit: Andy and Ryan. With the three of us, the process went by fairly quickly. It helped that a lot of it had already been filmed since Andy likes to poke around on tour or just somewhat loving moments that we’d film so I could have a little montage of us while he’s on tour.”

The crowd awed.

“So the film is strictly about you and Calum’s relationship?”

“Yes, but it’s more than that, you know? It’s about healing someone who thought that they were broken, and saving another from their own intrusive thoughts. Unconditional, rare, and true love. That’s what we have, and it’s something that not a lot of people have seen before.”

“Backstage you told me that it’s called Toku Aroha meaning My Love in English from Maori. Why did you decide to call it that?”

“As most people know, Calum is Maori. It’s a language and culture that a lot of people do not know much about, so to use a language a part of his culture to share a piece of a shielded relationship felt perfect.”

“Well, let’s watch the trailer!”

*Video begins*

So how did we get here? Why didn’t I realize that my best friend is the one I want to spend the rest of my life with? You narrate as the shot pans out from you and Calum sitting beside each other on the beach, watching the waves.

A person that creates unforgettable moments. The scene changes to the both of you laughing with flour all over you both. You were pulled into his arms, despite your protests as he held a smirk on his face.

“Just admit that I won, so we can get cleaned up, take the cookies out, and cuddle,” he requested.

“In your dreams, Bubba.” You looked up at him, matching his look.

You start closing the space in between you two and he met you halfway before you threw the rest of the bag of flour on him.

You let out a triumphant laugh, getting out of his grip as he paused in shock.

“Game on,” Calum rushed towards you with a smile on his face as you tried to get away from him.

Once he caught up to you, he pulled you into his chest, making sure to get as much flour on you as possible. He dips his head down to give you a kiss and you pulled him deeper into you.

A person that helps you when you feel lost. The scene changes to you sitting at your desk on the computer as Calum laid across your bed. You let out a sigh as you leaned back in the chair.

Calum looked up at you with a raised eyebrow. “What’s wrong?” he asked.

“I have all the clips and all of it in the order I want, but something just doesn’t feel right when I watch this back. Can you come look?” you requested.

He hummed in response as he got up and leaned over your shoulder to watch the video.

He paused it halfway through to say, “Try a different angle for this clip. This one seems awkward

Because of this guy on the back. Then, change the song to have a softer vibe, maybe more of an instrumental so it doesn’t take away from the scene.” You look at him in awe. He notices your stare and lets out a small chuckle, “What?”

You shake your head as you turned back to the screen. “If music ever seems to fade out of your life, film making could be your thing. Just saying.”

He gives you a quick kiss on the cheek before he walks off with a small smile on his face.

A person that believes in you when you don’t have the energy to believe in yourself. The scene changes to backstage before a concert. Calum was sitting on the couch, and you were in his lap as he had his face in the crook of your neck.

You looked at Andy as he zoomed in on the two of you. “He’s sleepy and beating himself up about yesterday,” you whispered, “Plus, he’s getting a cold.”

He looked up at you as if he was about to say something, but you hushed him, “Vocal rest, Bubba.”

You grabbed the board behind you and handed it to him and he wrote: I sounded terrible yesterday. I’m gonna sound worse today :(

You shake your head in disapprovement. “You had a few hiccups yesterday, but you sounded great, Cal. You’re going to sound absolutely amazing tonight because you want to give your best performance.”

He smiled at you before looking down at the board and writing: How are you so sure?

“You’re Calum fucking Hood. The bassist of 5 Seconds of Summer. No one can beat you at your game.”

He vigorously erases the board and puts: I love you.

He gently tugs you to him as he gives you a soft kiss.

The video begins to go through a montage of happy moments between you and Calum as you narrated. There are so many stories I could share. So many moments that made me fall more in love with him, but I can’t do that just yet. I have to start from when we first met.

Let me tell you about Calum, the friend.

She doesn't understand why Raj hasn't had sex with her because she realistically considers sex as SEX, not a precious trophy or symbol of love or devotion. It's not something she purchases or sells. At this point she should understand that other people don't see it that way, but the really interesting thing about Mia is she doesn't care even when that's dangerous.

When Raj was married to Naomi, Mia was always asking him if he’d consider a threesome...back then Raj ran The Islands and nobody was richer nor as powerful as he. Mia was titillated by his wealth and lifestyle, and the fact that he seemed unattainable, but she also found him sexy as hell. (Joël described her as being ‘obsessed’). She understood then that he wouldn’t have sex with her because he was married, but the fact that he wouldn’t have sex with her after his divorce was particularly disappointing. When she visited him in jail she had more or less accepted that they would never have sex: She didn’t come here today harbouring any illusions; she knows that Raj does not and has never found her desirable, that he has always regarded her as some irritating, over-sexed bimbo, not to be taken seriously. The last time she tried to speak to him, at Joël’s farewell party, he was arrogant and dismissive, swatting her away as if she was a mosquito.

She has never made a secret of her attraction to him, however! And it will be interesting to see how she rationalises their kiss- will she just put it down to him being drunk, or evidence of a much deeper attraction? Because they have now formed a very close friendship as well as a strong working relationship that is built on trust and loyalty, and it must now be evident to Mia that Raj does take her seriously.

Thank you for the explanation. Those are definitely admirable qualities (the ones you mentioned in reply to shhhushhh), but I don't think I can get past his views about Mia. I guess that makes me a hypocrite (I'm putting him in a box just like he's done to her), but he's a pig. I just hope he learns to appreciate the gray in life and see Mia for her lovely, flawed self. Gray is prettier than black and white anyway, lol.

Grey is very pretty indeed! That’s a beautiful quote, Colleen! And yes I can see how Spence is a pig, but I also enjoy the challenge of trying to get inside his head and seeing the world through his eyes. He is a very angry person who has never been able to get over the death of his sister, and his anger definitely colours his perceptions.

Definitely agree that it's a realistic point-of-view though. Half of my family is conservative Southern protestant and the other half is conservative Midwestern Catholic. Which might not translate, lol, but basically slut shaming is something I grew up around. Fortunately my mom raised me differently, but just because it's common practice doesn't mean it isn't abhorrent. And the phrases he's used to talk about Mia? Awful! D: (Sorry, tmi, but I really wanted to like him.)

Not too much information at all! It’s very helpful for me in understanding what Spencer’s background may have been. And yeah, his language is abhorrent, no questions about that. Mia should have broken his nose, not just slapped him!

idk i come from old tumblr back when gifs had to be 500kb, but right after photosets became A Thing. i prefer my gifs to be pretty vibrant just because i like to enhance the natural colors in a scene plus i learned giffing by giffing marvel and doctor who and that shit can be hard to color but pretty to make vibrant. i’m definitely of the opinion that vibrant sets are prettier than pastel sets, but i have seen some gorgeous pastel sets since coming back and i have made one or two as well but you guys do whatever feels natural? as long as you feel you have done your best and you are happy with the effort you put in there is no wrong way to gif.

Do you have any videos or photosets that have titty veins in them? I think I remember you posting something with them awhile back, but I can't find it anymore.

You can see my veins through my skin on most of my HD photosets, since they picture quality is so much better than my selfies!

I think you’re thinking about my Venom photoset! :)

The camera I’m using for videos right now isn’t as good as the old one (yes, I’m aware), so it doesn’t capture my skin as well. But since my ex used to shoot and edit videos for me, I had to learn everything from scratch when our relationship ended. I’m doing my best on my own!

I’m making plans to shoot some exclusive videos that people can get if they make a contribution towards me getting a new camera. 🤔 An equipment upgrade would be great for my content!

Backed Up Replies! (Long AF)

So, small RL update: I’ll be starting a dinky little summer internship starting this Monday. (I’m just doing it for the résumé boost, cuz the pay’s literal peanuts; not even enough to cover my frikkin train fare. Effing exploitation, effing scam, I hate everything.) I won’t know exactly what my schedule’ll be till I go in and talk to them, but this is just a heads up in case I can’t be around much. Need time to play DA:I. So far, I've got the GOTY version for PS4 and created my character - and I bought it over three years ago. Lame. ._.

SAME. My first run was bad. I bought it in 2015, for like $60. Mofo took for EFFING EVER to install. Then the gameplay was just SO slow going for me, stuck in those frikkin Hinterlands & going on endless fetch quests and requisitions and blah blah. And Bioware’s glitchy AF animations are...interesting to experience. By the time we FINALLY got to the actual PLOT and met the big-bad at Haven, Corypheus was just running his mouth monologuing, and after wandering aimlessly around Skyhold I lost my patience with DA:I entirely. I returned it at Gamestop and got The Witcher 3 instead -- BEST DECISION EVER.

But DA:I was always at the back of my mind, and after all this time I decided to revisit it. I like it! TBH, the best part about DA:I is the party banter, and getting into the lore about Thedas’ history and what’s up with the Fade and effing Solas and everything. And I already told y’all about my crush on The Iron Bull -- I missed him so much! XD

My first follow forever (wOW)!!!! cya 2017!!

It’s so crazy to think that at the start of this year the only Seventeen I knew was the number… and now, whenever I hear the number seventeen, the first thing I think of is the group of 13 boys that brightened up my 2017.

After my introduction to seventeen came my introduction to this fandom and to some really beautiful people. I’m so grateful to all of you for being so welcoming, and filling my dash with posts that are memetastic, creative, beautiful and filled with the awesomeness of 13 precious boys. Oh! Happy new year!!!! Kick 2018 in the behind 😎

The last part is just a cheesy thank you to seventeen, which you don’t have to read if you don’t want to (and i couldn’t put it under a read more, sorry) -- this is kinda something I don’t want people to see but I also do because it needs to be said and I want to show people how wonderful seventeen is

so halfway through the year i found out about seventeen. i’d never stanned a kpop group before and i never really wanted to, just because of the emotional toll it would take on me. but seventeen pretty much said ‘nuh uh, coming through’ and... yeah... and i’m so grateful for that :’)

discovering seventeen this year has helped me a lot. these boys just radiate happiness and love, and you can’t not feel it. i’m a really (negative) emotional person, so if i get one whiff of sadness or anger, either from others or myself, i fall into this dark hole of negative emotions, which i usually just wait out. but now, whenever i’m in that dark hole, i can watch some seventeen videos or listen to their music and my heart will feel a bit lighter. i mostly watch their dance practices idk why?? maybe because it makes me feel so proud??? oh, also their performances!! which shows how much of an impact their stage presence/energy has. anyway, just watching them do anything really fills me with warmth and all these good emotions that override the bad. even just daydreaming about what it’s like to be part of their lives, surrounded by that bubble of joy and love they create gets me through it :)

they also made me realise that i need to surround myself with people who make me love life. i have a circle of friends but we’re not super close and i used to be fine with that, but learning about these boys and how important they are to each other made me realise that i shouldn’t settle for that. i need a friend that i can tell anything to, to lean on when i need to (and who’ll listen to me talk about seventeen all day). they give me hope that i’ll find friends like that, who i’ll treat like family. they also reinforce my belief that everything happens for a reason. can you imagine if scoups or woozi had debuted before the rest?? or if seungkwan ended up in jyp?? but nope, they all found each other and they adore each other so much while creating AMAZING music, so they give me hope for the future :)

i wanted to write another paragraph about dk but i’ll just say this: he reminds me of all the good things in the world and he can make me smile like no other 💖💖

so to sum this up, i want to thank the 13 beautiful boys of seventeen for making my 2017 a bit brighter just by being them :)) go and make 2018 your year like you did 2017, but look after yourselves!! i hope you carry this joy for life and love for one another into the new year 💕💓💖❤️💕💞💘💚💛💙💜❤️💕

i’ve been receiving a few messages asking if i had any tips and tricks for making hd/crisp looking gifs, so i thought i’d do a mini tutorial of sorts.

this isn’t a tutorial on the process of making gifs themselves and requires basic gif making knowledge. these are just tips n tricks on how to make your gifs look better, i guess?

tip 1: find the highest quality download that you can.

if a show is airing currently, wait until whatever site you use to download shows uploads a webrip version. 720p hdtv versions might be 720p, so you'd assume that's hd, but they are not the highest quality format. 1080p webrips are the absolute best format when it comes to shows that are airing at the moment. if you don't have enough disk space, download 720p webrips instead.

if a show has finished and has been released on bluray, download the bluray version. these files can often be very large in size, but you should be able to find versions that aren't so large. i tend to ignore bluray downloads that are too large, and opt for the smaller ones. i prefer 1080p bluray downloads, but 720p bluray is fine.

as always, if possible, support the shows you love by buying them on dvd or watching them live when they air.

tip 2: capture every frame and set it to a fluid speed.

when looking at some gifs, i find that they are often jittery with obviously missing frames. i'm guilty of removing frames myself when a gif is being niggly and just won't work, but it always looks better when you capture every frame.

i used to use kmplayer, but now i use potplayer to capture and my settings look like this:

this way, you will capture every frame and your gifs will look more fluid.

when it comes to speed, i find that 0.05 is the best speed for frames. anything lower than that is way too fast, in my opinion, and anything higher than 0.07 is too slow.

on my newer gifs, i tend to use 0.06 because i find it works better with less frames and wider/taller gifs.

tip 3: experiment with colouring.

there are a lot of colouring tutorials on tumblr and across the web, as well as psds you can use as a guide.

there is no 'right' way to colour, really, but i personally prefer more vibrant, brighter gifs, but not so vibrant and bright that it hurts your eyes or characters look too heavily contrasted and you get a sort of white and pixelated, almost featureless face.

i prefer warmer gifs and often add a LOT of red in a colour balance layer to my gifs. i also nearly always add a selective colour layer and darken the blacks.

i do not like the trend of pale, pastel psds, especially when used on characters of colour, as i feel it whitewashes their skintone and makes them look sick. it IS possible to do pastel colouring without whitewashing, though. if you go through the poc psd tag, there are a lot of options there.

it really is about teaching yourself, though. i started gifing six or seven years ago, and over the years my style has changed and improved.

tip 4: sharpen and save for web settings.

sometimes i change the web settings if a gif is too large and i don't want to change the colouring/amount of frames to make it smaller. i use diffusion more often than not, but on particularly grainy scenes, i find noise works better.

for example, on my darlene gif here, i used noise because of the grain of the dark scene.

also, the version of photoshop you use doesn't really matter, tbh. i use cs5 and that's considered kind of old, i guess? i dislike the newer versions.

remember to keep your gifs under 3mb!

tip 5. use correct dimensions!

it took me a while to grow out of the old tumblr format of 500px wide gifs, mainly because most themes had 500px wide posts, but there are many themes now that have 540px wide options.

the theme i'm using at the moment allows 500px wide and 540px wide photosets to be displayed correctly, so old photosets will show up fine, but i tend to avoid reblogging 500px wide gifs now.

540px wide looks better on the tumblr desktop as well on themes now. if your theme doesn't support 540px, you can always enable it to do so using this code.

We made it to 7 years and we’re still going strong! Everyone stop and give yourselves a pat on the back and a round of applause because this fandom continues to produce top notch fanworks and remains one of the most supportive and welcoming fandoms, and we should all be very proud of that.

Now, onto Inceptiversary! This is my first year organizing, so bear with me, darlings. There is so, so much planned for July, it’s really incredible. Get ready to bask in the best that this fandom has to offer!

1. What is Inceptiversary?

Inceptiversary is a fandom celebration in honour of the release of Christopher Nolan’s Inception. The release date was July 16th, 2010, so this is our 7th Anniversary!

ALL SHIPS ARE WELCOME! There is space for everyone in Inceptiversary so get ready to get your ship on!

There will be five themes this year, one for each week in July.

July 1-7 Meet Cute: First meetings, coffeeshop AU’s, all those fics that make you squirm with excitement because you know how good it’s going to be for your ship!

July 8-14 Adventure: Canon compliant, heist fics, any fic where the characters are dream criminals.

July 15-21 Hurt AND/OR Comfort: All the pain, all the solace, or a little of both!

July 22-28 Crossovers: Your favourite fics that incorporate our heroes into other story lines, or bring other universes into Inception.

July 29-August 4 Mystical Realism: Bring us your weird, your slimy, your shameful! Anything goes, as long as it has elements of the unusual!

Fans are encouraged to post and reblog all manner of content related to the weekly theme, so dig out all those fanvids, gifsets, memes, headcannons, art, and fic recs you have hiding on your hard drives! Who knows, maybe you’ll discover a kink you never knew you had!

A/N pt. 2: Just like the Tom Hiddleston x Reader imagine, I had to post this one again and change the format to a photoset instead because some followers were unable to see the banner on mobile. Sorry!

You dropped down on the sofa next to Tony, your whole body aching from a long day. He sat on one end of the couch, his feet propped up underneath him as he stared at the projected hologram in front of him. He swiped it down and turned it off as soon as you situated yourself on the sofa. It had been quite some time since you had any real time with him, and he wasn’t going to miss out. As one of Fury’s right hands, you took his place when he decided to just disappear into thin air after “dying” in D.C.. He had trained you for this responsibility, but it was still hard to accept it when the weight of the world would be resting on your shoulders. You weren't the director since S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't technically exist anymore, but you were definitely coordinating a lot of what the team did, and you rallied the team when it was needed. You held plenty of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s secrets, which made you valuable, but it also made you a target for the enemies of the “non-existent” organization. Your days were being eaten up, which left you utterly exhausted come the evening.

Tony had been requesting some time alone with you all week long, but he always found you passed out on the couch, at your desk, or in his bed. He refrained from waking you up, knowing that the guilt would eat away at him if he gave into those desires. He saw just how thin you had spread yourself, and he continued to offer his assistance in any way possible. From intercepting some of the lower level agents on their way to you or having Jarvis perform more menial tasks like sorting the computer files and doing research into what could be a potential threat, Tony was doing his best to lighten the load that fell to you. There had been times when you thought your relationship with the “genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist” would venture past the boundaries of just friends. However, just when you were ready to make your move, Fury sprung this new responsibility onto you, and you really had no choice but to accept. Trying to balance a relationship with the work that you had to put into rebuilding S.H.I.E.L.D. or just keeping the world safe just wouldn’t work. Even so, Tony was on your mind far more than any other friend was.

You glanced up at him, locking your eyes with his deep brown ones. You knew he wanted to ask what happened or how your day was, but you answered him before he could even ask, “I don’t want to talk about it” you groaned, trying to smile before you broke down in tears. It had all been so overwhelming, but you maintained a state of absolute grace. Before you could even think to speak again, you let out a long and audible yawn, which ended in a laugh. You were finally able to sit down with him after a full week of nothing but working and passing out before starting it all again the next day. You were finally able to see him and really give him your attention after a full week of nothing but a constant bombardment of other people's questions and concerns. Too many people just wanted to give up. Too many agents wanted to throw in the towel instead of risking working under the radar. If you had been discovered operating without the knowledge of the government, there could be problems. The Avengers were free to continue saving people, but S.H.I.E.L.D. couldn’t have any part in that as far as anyone on the outside was concerned. It was just your luck that the first moment you had to spend with him, you were immediately exhausted. Without a single word, he reached out and grabbed your hand. with his own. His hands were calloused because of the sheer amount of work he had done through his whole life. He was a man who loved working with his hands, and he was good at it.

When he stood up, you followed suit. When he led the way to his bedroom, you followed suit. When he suggested you remove your shirt, you weren’t worried because it was nothing he hadn’t seen before. There had been countless times when he walked into your room without knocking only to see you getting dressed or undressing. Like a perfect gentleman, he looked away immediately. When he motioned for you to lay on the bed, you didn’t question it. Hell, you wanted that bed more than anything all day long. As you rested your head on your arms, your eyes slipped closed, and you could almost hear the smile spreading across his face, “I know that a lot’s been on your plate lately, and I just want to help you relax” he murmured as he unclasped your bra to give himself the freedom he needed. His hands roamed around your back before gently kneading the muscles that had tensed up throughout the week. Every now and then, you would let out a soft moan of pleasure as your body finally felt like your own again. His skillful fingers danced across your back in an attempt to soothe the fire that burned beneath your skin. You would’ve attacked him right then and there if the massage wasn’t so relaxing. Once he had worked his magic, he draped the bed sheet over you to cover your bare torso, “there’s a hot bath waiting for you in the bathroom with a bottle of wine, an aromatherapy blend of lavender and bergamot, some unscented candles to set the mood, and your current favorite book. I’ll be somewhere out there if you need me, and Jarvis is...everywhere” he said with that signature smile before he began walking toward the door.

“Tony,” you called out to him, sitting up in the bed. This was the moment. After all the bullshit you had put up with for an entire week, two simple acts drove you to this conclusion. You had to push your relationship into the unknown. You wanted to. He turned around to face you at the sound of his own name, a look of hope in his glistening brown eyes. You smiled as you stood up from the bed, taking the sheet with you to maintain some modesty that you hoped would be lost in a few minutes, “I think the bath is big enough for two”

He was a man who loved working with his hands, and he was good at it. However, you never really knew just how good until that night.

Breaking News: The Love Bug Hit Calum Hood

As all of you are aware, Calum Hood and Y/F/N have been together for five years. The pair has not supplied us with a lot of details of their relationship. They tend to be very closed off about what goes on between them, leaving us to find out weeks-- or even months-- later.

Today, February 14th, we got a huge insight to their dynamic from Calum Hood.

He posted a photoset of the two over the years, ending with one of Y/N by herself, cuddling his dog, Duke. If you thought that was all, then you were poorly mistaken! He paired the post with a lengthy caption about his love.

@calumhood: I just want to take a moment to talk about my love. Y/N is such a beautiful person-- inside and out. She always makes sure that I’m not over exerting myself and that I’m always healthy. To be honest, she’s turned into the band mom when she can come on tour with us. When I’m too far in my own head, I know she’ll pull me out of the funk. I’ve known her for six years and been in a relationship with her for five. I can honestly say that she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. When she moved in with me last year, I was so happy that I would get to come home to her everyday. I would get to wake up next to her beautiful face every morning. I love watching her run around the house in one of my shirts in a dancing craze from her playlist. She has to force me to clean the house a lot. I don’t really mind it. I may be tired from the band, but I just see it as more time to spend with her. Our Saturday date nights are the highlight of my week. Every weekend-- every day-- she shows me why I fall more and more in love with her. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who could handle my band and me on a daily basis and not get tired of it. I am so thankful to have her in my life. I love you, Y/N. You’re my home.

The post left many fans in tears from the bassist’s candid post. This was the first time that he’d made a post like this since the pair became official.

A few hours later, Y/N commented.

@Y/insta/N: I love you, Calum Thomas Hood! I can’t wait to see you when you get out of the studio!

The interaction made their fans swoon as it quickly became the trending topic on Twitter.

We don’t know what sparked this sentimental moment in Calum, but we hope there will be more to come!

You closed your phone after reading the article with a smile on your face as you walked to your car from work. Calum had sent you a few texts, letting you know when he was going to get out of the studio and to dress extra fancy for your valentine date that night.

You stopped by the mall to find an outfit for the night before heading home to get ready.

As soon as you stepped out of the shower, Calum called you. “Hey, Cal. You’re just getting out?” you asked as you answered the call.

He sighed as you heard a guitar in the background. “I’m sorry, I’ll be home a little later than expected. Is it okay if our plans change a little bit? I won’t be home until after the reservation time has passed.”

“That’s fine! Do you know what time you’ll come home or do you just want me to meet you there?” you questioned.

“I’ll pick you up in and hour and a half. Two hours tops,” he confirmed before you both said your goodbyes and hung up the phone.

You put on the new outfit of yours before styling your hair and putting your makeup on.

Calum walked through the front door as you put the finishing touches on your makeup. He walked into your shared room, pausing in awe when he saw you. “Damn, how did I get so lucky with you?” His eyes raked over your body with a proud smile as he walked over to you and wrapped his arms around you, giving you a hug as he kissed the top of your head.

You smiled as you both pulled back and looked up at him as you jokingly said, “Don’t get all soft on me. First, you type an essay on Instagram, and now, I’m getting extra compliments.”

He playfully rolled his eyes at you as he let go of you. “Yeah, Yeah. I’ll take a quick shower, then we’ll head out.”

You nodded and went to wait for him in the living room.

Thirty minutes later, Calum walked out in one of his more formal shirts with a small smirk on his face as he fixed the cuffs. You stood up and walked over to him as you fixed your skirt. You straightened out his collar as he glanced down at your lips.

Before you could step away from him, he gently tilted your chin up as he leaned down to kiss you.

You melted into the kiss, but Calum stopped it before it could progress any further. “We at least have to go out to our spot tonight. Even though I would love to stay in with you right now,” he stated, guiding you to the car.

The ride was relatively silent in consideration of the amount of times you asked him what he had planned.

He pulled up to the botanical garden and turned off the car, walking around to your side of the car to open the door for you before grabbing your hand and walking in.

You never got tired of the garden. The flowers and trees always seemed to take your breath away. It was calm and peaceful there. The one place where you never had any worries.

Calum loved this place because of you. He never truly appreciated Nature until you brought him here for the first time. How could he not fall in love with a place that made you feel safe?

As you two walked towards the Japanese garden portion of the gardens, you began to faintly hear the sound of a guitar.

“Calum? What’s going on?” You asked as the gazebo covered in string lights came into view.

He softly smiled at you, grasping your hand tighter as you made your way towards the sound of the music. The boys smiled at you as they softly played the instruments.

He brought you under the gazebo, smiling down at you as he took your hands in his.

“I love you so much, Y/N,” he confessed.

You softly smiled at him, giving his hand a small squeeze. “I love you, too, Cal.”

“You mean everything to me. I know I want this and you in my life until the end,” He kneeled down, pulling out an velvet box from his pocket. You quickly brought a hand up to your mouth in shock with tears threatening to shed. “Will you marry me?” he asked as his heart beat out of his chest.

You nodded, knowing that your words would fail you. He grinned as he placed the ring on your hand, getting up to kiss you.

You wrapped your arms around his neck as his arms found their way around your waist. He leaned down and kissed you, pulling your body as close to him as possible.

The boys cheered in the background as they took photos of the special moment.

You both pulled back and smiled at each other, touching your foreheads against one another’s. He smiled and said, “Happy Valentine’s Day, sweetheart.”

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Cal.”

A new month~! Right around this time I’d be getting all antsy and aggravated, knowing the next school semester was about to start at UNI in a couple weeks. Ah, the sweet smell of FREEDOM! I am behind... I get irritated when the show focuses more on Clary and Jace. xD

AIN'T THAT THE TRUTH. Season 3A was heavily Jace-centric, cuz he was possessed by Lilith and all (thanks, Clary), and everyone thought he was going mentally insane cuz one of the Herondale ancestors was insane or something? I don’t even care. But I have to admit -- S03′s good, relatively speaking. Best season so far; I’m so excited for 3B to air in Spring 2019 (3A ended on some CRAZY cliffhangers). Jace’s actor must have taken some classes, because he delivered a few impressive scenes for once. Clary’s...yeah, but how about that domestic MALEC though! ^_^
