it was a normal friday, you had just got home from classes and were getting ready to go to a kickback with your friends to drink the stress of finals away. you were going with your friends dina, jesse, and your roommate ellie. all of you became friends during your freshman year of college, you and ellie deciding to room together. you were just finishing up your makeup, and you got up to change, beginning to take your robe off, when your door flies open.

“get out!! go!” you say, clearly embarrassed. she turns around, clearly flushed. you become extremely red, but remember this isn’t the first time she’s walked in on you getting dressed. or the second, or the third..

you walk out of your room, wearing a simple outfit of a tank top and shorts. you meet eyes with ellie, who looks you up and down, seeing what you’re wearing. it was like everything was quiet. you’ve had a crush on ellie since you met her, but you’d always assumed she didn’t like you back since she was bringing in a new girl every week. she was wearing a blue flannel with a white tank top under, paired with a pair of jeans. you couldn’t help but admire her, and wonder what she looked like under her-

“y/n!! i feel like i haven’t seen you in ages!!”

your trance is broken by dina, who runs up to you, giving you a big hug. you hug her back, closing your eyes and smiling a huge smile. the four of you haven’t hung out in ages. most of your nights consisted of either studying, or smoking with ellie and watching whatever dumb movie was playing at the time. the two of you let go, and you walked up to give jesse a hug as well.

“god it’s been so long since we’ve all been together!” you say, letting go of jesse. “is everyone ready?”

“yeah, we’ve been waiting on the princess to finish getting ready.” ellie says, sarcastically. you roll your eyes as jesse grabs his keys and the four of you head out to the car. dina immediately takes her spot up front, leaving you and ellie in the back. “can i have aux?” ellie says before the car is even on.

the four of you arrive at the party shortly after, everyone arguing on what music to play. jesse gets out first and goes to open dina’s door for her. “you’re cooked, jesse.” ellie says, laughing. “hey! i think its cute.” you argue back. ellie just looks at you and rolls her eyes, laughing, as she gets out of the car.

the party wasn’t full, nothing crazy. you walk in first, immediately beelining to the drinks. you bump into a large, blonde hair girl.

“woah, you good?” you meet eyes with the women’s hockey teams star player, abby anderson. you notice her hands are on your waist, steadying you before you fell.

“oh my god, i’m so sorry!” you laugh.

“don’t worry about it, what’s your name gorgeous?” she says with a smirk. you look around, and see ellie already chatting it up with a ditsy girl. if she can have fun, why can’t you?

“y/n, and you are?” you knew the answer to this, everyone did. but you ddint wanna seem like a stalker for knowing her name when she didn’t know yours.

“abby. are you here with anyone?” she asks, scanning around the room. you hardly even notice when her hands leave your waist, steadying herself on the counter.

“oh, just my friends. i split away to grab a drink.” you slightly turn to pour a random bottle into one of the red solo cups stacked on the counter.

she laughs, watching you. “a pretty girl like you doesn’t have a boyfriend?” she asks, tilting her head slightly. it makes you blush, downing the liquor for some liquid courage.

“oh i don’t- i don’t really like guys..” you giggle. she raises her eyebrows.

“oh, so i do have a chance?” she replies, taking a sip from her cup. “do you wanna head up to my room?”

you look over to jesse and dina, they’re dancing to whatever shitty house music is playing. then to ellie, who’s clearly already had a few drinks, chatting it up with two girls now.

“sure, let’s go!”

abby grabs your hand, leading you through the crowd. you can’t help but love how big her hand is in yours, how she led you through the crowd saying hi to almost everyone. you almost make it to the stairs when you hear a commotion, and abby is shoved away from you.

“the fuck are you doing anderson?”

“don’t start shit at my party, ellie.” she says back, getting closer and towering over her. you knew abby and ellie didn’t get along that good, ellie always told you it was because abby was cocky and spoiled, but clearly it was more than that. “what’s your deal?”

“my deal is that you’re trying to treat her like she’s one of your sluts, she’s probably drunk and you’re taking advantage of her!” ellie barks back, slurring her words. this makes abby angrier, and you have to step in.

“ellie, it’s not that big of a deal. i said yes, im barely tipsy. can you let us be?” you didn’t realize your words sounded a little rude, but it didn’t matter. you knew this, with abby, was only gonna be a simple fuck and nothing more. she glares at you, grabbing your hand and trying to drag you out of the house. you try to resist her, but she’s stronger. “ellie, let go!”

suddenly, abby shoves ellie hard. “she said let the fuck go, ellie!” ellie’s expression changed. she looked infuriated. she drops her drink and punches abby in the face. “oh you fucked up.” abby says getting ready to punch ellie. you shove ellie away, telling abby to find you on instagram, that you’ll text her and that your sorry. you begin practically dragging ellie out. dina and jesse stop you before you can leave.

“what the fuck happened?” dina says, looking at the clearly pissed ellie.

“i’ll tell you when we get home, im just gonna call an uber, go home, and sober her up.”

“you sure you don’t want a ride? we don’t mind i-“ jesse says.

“no, it’s fine. i’ll text you guys when i get home.” you go to leave, pushing ellie out and ordering and uber.

the ride home was quiet. the uber didn’t even make small talk as usual. the air felt so thick you could cut it with a knife. finally, you stop at your house, thanking the uber driver, and go around to ellie’s side to help her get out.

“i don’t.. i don’t need your fucking help.” she snaps. you roll your eyes and continue to help her, dragging her inside and pushing her on the couch. “god, what’s your problem?”

you don’t know why she was acting so mean. true, she had a few drinks, but she didn’t usually act this this when drunk.

“what’s your fucking problem ellie? i mean, god, can i not make my own decisions?” you snap, going to the kitchen to pour yourself a drink. “you fuck a new girl every week, sometimes two, and i can’t do it once?” you take the shot. “what are you so mad about?” you shout, going to pour yourself another.

you hear her shift a little on the couch. “nothing, i don’t have a problem.” you audibly laugh, she’s being ridiculous! you down another drink, closing the bottle. it makes you cough and gag a little.

“if you didn’t have a problem, you wouldn’t have fucking punched abby for talking to me.” you start to go to your room, wanting to sleep it off.

you walk over to the opposite side of the couch and sit down. she sits up from her laying position.

Simon was hesitant once he parked the truck into his driveway. Both of your driveway. He didn’t tell you, it was last minute. The boys shouldn’t have known about them wanted to selfishly keep you and the girls away. Other side is danger. Yet here he is, getting out of his truck as Price, Gaz, and Soap walked up the driveway. “Damn Lt it’s a nice house,” Soap said looking at the home, the front had a decent size lawn with a tree in the middle. As he walked in he could smell the cookies that you and the girls to hand out during the holiday. He heard the dishes clatter before the faucet was turned off. “Si?” You said turning the corner that led to the kitchen.

“It’s me.” He responded as the boys clattered in behind him. “And others.”

You chuckled, giving a warm smile. I can see that, just in time for some cookies. Come on I can make some tea.” You looked at Simon, he could feel himself soften more. His chest heating up like it always does when you looked at him.

Simon going past you to talk quietly to Allison. Johnny heading to the tree to place it nicely next to the others. You looked at the one with the cap. “Kyle, beautiful home.”

“John,” He said smiling and shaking your hand. “Price is fine though.”

You smiled and nodded. “Good Johnny and John will be a good way to have my memory skills be tested.” Price chuckled and nodded. “Well come on then boys.” You said guiding them to the kitchen.

As they paraded behind you, Simon watch as Soap walked up to him and Allison. “My name is Johnny, what’s yours?”

Allison looked at Simon and smiled then to him. “Ya Soap! Daddy likes to talk about ya sometimes!”

Johnny would be talking about random things about what they do out in the field. Nothing over PG related at least. Allison would as questions about where they have been, what they do, and if they seen bunnies. Something a 4 year old would ask.

He would tell you about how Simon has this picture of you and the girls that ratted him out. You laughed at Johnny when he mentioned about how he panicked and tried to tell that it was just a picture. Then Gaz found out. Then Price did. Now they were here.

You shrugged as you shook your head. “Not at all. We don’t get visitors often.” You smiled looking down at Simon who nodded. You noticed he still had his mask on, never took it off besides lifting it to take a drink out of his tea.

“Your cookies are amazing. How do you make them?” Gaz asked grabbing another cookie off a plate.

You laughed coming behind Simon to take a look at Allison. “That’s a secret Kyle,” When you made eye contact with a sleeping child you looked at Simon. Simon could smell your shampoo, something he missed, something that calmed him. “Simon?”

Simon looked at you, he noticed that you had said something and he didn’t know what you said. “Say that again.” He whispered.

You giggled. “Do you want to put sleeping beauty to bed or you okay with how she is?”

Simon didn’t even noticed that she was passed out. Mouth open, hands gripping his sweatshirt, snuggled deep onto him. Simon shook his head. “I’ll keep her here.”

You smiled and nodded. “I thought so.” You patted his shoulder tenderly.

Price smiled at this interaction, never has he seen his lieutenant so soft. He could even tell through his mask. Price watched as Simon held Allison closer to his chest once they noticed that she was indeed passed out. Price made eye contact with Simon who just gave a nod before getting back into the conversation.

“Ya have to let me know how the girls like the present.” Johnny said as Simon and you walked the boys out.

Simon, who was still holding the sleeping child, was about to say something snarky. Before you said something. “Whatever you got I’m sure it’s going to be loved.” You smiled as you looked at Simon.

Kyle chuckled. “Pretty sure the lieutenant is gonna love it as well.”

“You know what it is?” You asked looking at him.

“Nah just know Johnny likes to see how many buttons he can press.” Kyle said patting his shoulder as Price opened the door. “Thank you for having us again.” You thanked him for coming as he head out the door.

she dragged me by the hand , and we got to our class , we always sat next to each other in whatever class we had together

Oh, sweet angst~ how I adore thee! My angst is Don Bluth style, it will almost always have a happy ending. This is my first time writing something like this (even though I adore reading stuff like this), but I hope it turned out good!

-It had been years since you ran away from your home, your family, cutting all ties with them, but it also led to the best years of your life! You found a new family, forcibly adopted by several, literal gods, and some of the greatest warriors throughout history! It was odd, but they treated you with so much love and respect that you didn’t give a single care in the world that you were the child of these bunch of weirdos.

-They knew not to pry into your past, as you didn’t like talking about it, never giving anything way, but your denial to speak about it, shying away from it, was telling enough.

-They learned early on, after someone was talking nearby, using their arms to gesture, and threw their hands out suddenly, that you flinched, shying away even though that person was nowhere near you. They saw how hard you worked and how hard you were on yourself if you believed you failed to do something, becoming afraid of what they would do or say.

-After years of tender loving care, tons of reassuring, and so much love you felt like you were suffocating sometimes, you were happy.

-However, that all changed one day when a knock came to the door and your found yourself face to face with your parents, anger on their faces, their fury growing as soon as they saw that they finally found you!

-Shouting quickly gained the attention of others who were quick to rush to your aid, finding the front of your shirt in your father’s fists, holding you up, your hair in your mother’s grasp, forcing you to look at them, as they both screamed at you, telling you how worthless and ungrateful you were for running away.

-Poseidon and Hades were quick to charge, getting your parents away from you.

-Adam had you almost instantly in his arms, hugged close to his chest while Hercules, Lu Bu, Ares, and Thor put themselves between the two of you and your parents.

-Odin was glaring down at your parents while Zeus had a smile on his face, “My-my, causing such a fuss over a child that is not yours.” When your parents try to argue with him, he immediately makes them back down as his eyes become visible, a dark aura surrounding him as he silently dared them to try anything.

-Your mother demands that you return home as you are her child!

-Adam and Kojiro, who is now kneeling beside you as well, glare at her, Adam immediately refuting her claim, “This is my child. A father should protect his children, not make them fear him.”

-Many of the others agree, daring them to try and take you away from them, a few cracking their knuckles, ready for a fight.

-When they threaten to call the police, Loki is quick to laugh in their faces before a cruel grin spreads across his face, daring them to in a ‘fuck around and find out’ way.

-Once they are gone, throwing threats at your family as well as you the whole way out, everyone turns their attention on you.

-Brunnhilde and Eve are quick to check you over for any wounds, all while doting on you, while the men are in the next room over, plotting how to deal with your parents.

-Some want them to have an ‘accident’ while others are all for just hunting them down like the animals they are, to treat them how they treated you.

-You found yourself in the arms of Thor, wrapped up like a burrito, a short while later, as he was going to cuddle and dote on you while the others went out to run some ‘errands’, including Eve who went to get you ice cream!

-You felt so safe and warm with your mismatched family, despite their murderous tendencies to keep you safe. They loved you and that’s all that matter.

I needed him to have a reason to be being so anti-commitment and even though I never actually wrote this out, in my head geto's dad leaves his mom for another woman - therefore abandoning his family. geto has a very detached relationship with his father - they speak rarely, and geto is super cold. he's very protective of his mom and mimiko and nanako in this scenario.

reader’s neighbors dropping their little chubby baby girl and she forgets to tell danny, so he comes home to reader bouncing her on her hip while you make her bottle, and he is a little confused but in awe.

his voice probably goes high and says something like “and who’s this little sunshine?” while grabbing her little hands with his huge ones. he also picks her up and giggles when she grabs his curls with a very fascinated face. they all sit on the sofa while he gives her the bottle (he insisted, obviously) and coos at her big eyes and the little sucking noises. giggles when reader burps her and makes a makeshift bed on the floor with her playmat and a blanket for her nap.

needless to say, as soon as her parents pick her up and thank you profusely for babysitting on such short notice, danny becomes quiet but needy while hugging you and kissing your shoulders, neck and cheeks mindlessly. “whats up with you?” you ask with a breathy giggle, he sighs “something bad, something really bad” he chuckles. he hides his face into your neck and mumbles a shy “i want to have a baby”

I’m just gonna point out a few I’ve noticed because it’s honestly wrecking me internally so much and I need you to know that 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻💖

1) THE FIRE

The way demon Jungkook just spawns these little flames out of nowhere and MC is like ??? But it turns out it’s just smth he’s been doing THEIR WHOLE FRIENDSHIP TOGETHER AS A WAY TO CALM HER ANXIETY LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT ONE RUN ME OVER WITH A CROP DUSTER

2) THE VASE

that little vase that Taehyung gifted her after her miscarriage that she smashed 😭😭 why just whyyyyyyy stop making these little objects the cause of my mental breakdown (jk ily and your stories 🥺)

3) THE TREE SCENE

I’m not exactly too sure on this one tbh but that scene when she was in hell and weeping over the forest as she hugged the tree, was that supposed to represent the imaginary friend she had been talking to all along? Or did it remind her of them? But still the chills 😩 also I wasn’t sure if that little girl she saw in the tunnel was supposed to be some evil version of her daughter 👁️👁️ but also was her daughter actually her daughter or an Angel that took on the form of her daughter

4) DEMONS AND THEIR DEMON BUSINESS

THAT CHAPTER WAS JUST A HUGE RECALL TO AN EARLIER SCENE IN THE STORY, when demon JK made a deal with a woman but her partner ended up dying. It’s almost like they intentionally give them hope only to crush it and take it away from them, even more so because it’ll be too late and they can’t do anything having given their soul. The event of MC being cured only for her to become sick not long after and dying are literally paralleled with that woman, only with JK being the demon. But also FUCK Jisoo and that stank ass kid I could never be as kind and gentle as MC like YOURE ON YOUR MFKN OWN 👋

5) LUCIFER

The way I KNEW that he was gonna be the one to make the deal with Jungkook like THE SECOND THAT SLUT WALKED IN AND YOU DESCRIBED HIS TATTOO ANSJDJKFJF

THE TUNNEL and BABY ANGEL: Again, another cool theory! The demon in the tunnel is just a demon tho! It was briefly mentioned on kookies 17th birthday that she was spooked in the woods. I didn't find it necessary to go all into that since it was just a ghost story that was explained in the tunnel :) Basically it was one of Apple's childhood fears that manifested in the tunnel 🥲

As for the two scenes with the angel that looks like Aera, it is her! Sweet baby girl is an angel now 💞😇

4. DEMONS AND THEIR DEMON BUSINESS:

oh hold on im going to ramble about rehersal last night bc i was on post limit and also too tired to talk about anything when i got home lmao

anyway this is a good thing not a bad thing that happened so dont worry im doing alright im just still thinking about it bc i mean. i guess its kind of sad that it feels jarring to me to be treated with kindness especially by someone in an authority position like a director but i am very thankful. our director sends us emails with notes on the rehersal and things for us to remember and in the email yesterday i didnt see it till i got to rehersal bc she sent it around the time i started to drive since my drive to town and back is very long. in the email she was like rey youre doing a great job thank you for knowing your lines theres one other thing id like to talk to you about sometime. and of course this makes my brain have alarms go off because yknow. abuse and trauma and just general brain bullshit where immediately if im told "theres one other thing we have to talk about later" by an authoritity figure or anyone really my brain tries to jump to the worst case scenario yknow like oh god shes gonna tell me to quit the play and that i suck and that i should just give up on acting and that im not good enough. but i tried to shake it off and just focused on acting in the rehersal. and at the very end of rehersal i went up to her and was like hey what was the one other note you had for me that you wanted to give me? and she ended up genuinely like really earnestly praising me and telling me that im amazing and doing a really great job and that she really appreciates how on top of things i am with knowing my lines and blocking and entrances and that she hardly has to give me any directions as a director because i just have a good instinct for what to be doing onstage and what things to find in the text to work with and she told me that i remind her a lot of a professional working actor that shes friends with in chicago 😭😭 and the note she wanted to give me was that i have a tendency to sometimes subconciously sneak looks at the audience and then dart my eyes back to the scene which is something her professional actor friend does too and she was like both you and him are so good but you worry about if people are going to like you and what youre doing, they like you! youre doing great! dont worry! and im surprised that i didnt just start cryimg. i had also made a kind of offhand comment about not being confident in myself and she told me that she was really surprised by that because im very good and i should be confident in myself and then gave me a hug and it was just like

like oh??? oh... maybe i am too hard on myself and maybe im not such a huge fuck up at everything.. anyway shes a very nice person and a great director im really glad shes our director for this production and that was like a really genuinely helpful moment for me

Okay Katie mini essay time because i was on a train for an hour 🥲 and also I love Katie sm hold on I went on a ramble-

Note that this is a lighthearted personality analysis because I related to Katie from what we see of her outward personality, no harm meant in this <3

So I’ve watched like every Muna interview ever and the way Katie talks is very personable. She tries to be funny and open and it’s hard sometimes because muna’s dynamic is so close that the way they talk is like hard for interviewers to read?? So she’s always like trying to make jokes land and translate their silly Muna language and it’s so cute 😭 and they love to banter with interviewers too my favourite was “do you want to switch pants?”

I do find Katie can be hard on themself a lot like. In the way they’re perceived. It happens a lot in interviews again and I think is played off in that joking way ( “I’m so problematic” or “no fuck me”) when she misreads a situation with Naomi (usually them but sometimes with Jo) or a guest and think she’s said something wrong? Like I notice she wants to joke around but then notices something she said may have been Not Right and has to take steps back to make sure everything is okay and asks a lot of questions to be sure she didn’t do something wrong. I think she’s like Julien in that way where they don’t wanna be perceived in the wrong way or have what they say taken out of context or misunderstood.

But like in terms of how loving Katie is oh my god, there’s so much to unpack here? First of all look at her lyrics. The way she writes says a lot about what she wants to put out into the world and it’s so beautiful to me to see how it’s evolved over time too and also how her interpretation of her lyrics has changed throughout performances. Some lyrics that really hit me have always been:

But like yeah her lyrics definitely show how hard she feels emotions and how she has learned to channel them and bro I could hyperanalyze every Muna song if you asked me to tbh but I won’t do that here because I will be insufferable lmao

Going back to her being personable, the way she interacts with guests and friends on gayotic and in other situations shows how she loves and how much she loves I think? Like the way she talks to people and jokes around with guests and interviews like they’d been talking for ages. Katie is definitely a person who wants to be like In Charge of the interview 😭 I’ve noticed this with gayotic she really wants to lead conversations and it’s funny but she still does her best to give the floor to others and listen attentively and ask questions and that clearly means a lot to her which I think is a love language in itself. She loves telling stories and relating to people she’s talking to, like with franki or other friends they’ve had on gayotic she’s always so excited to share good memories and it clearly makes her so happy to share those with fans 🥺 she loves her friends dude

She’s also just really physically affectionate, which we knew was coming ofc. Sometimes she just gets distracted in interviews and almost kisses Jo which is funny I can never tell if it’s a bit or just the urge to kiss Jo (valid). Her holding Naomi’s hand during interviews when she knows she’s going to say something that’ll annoy them 😭😭. She seeks out physical touch sometimes during interviews, she’ll lean a bit closer to the others every so often or do the joking kiss thing. Katie also seems the most inclined out of all of them to use pet names for her friends like baby/honey and this is adorable, she calls Jo baby a lot especially when they get flustered on podcasts/by cameras. Boygenius gets hugs on and off stage every interaction of course, and I genuinely don’t think it’s for fan service. There’s a difference in the way Katie dances with phoebe during silk and the way she hugs her when she first comes on stage. Flirty stage presence Katie versus excited to see her friend Katie methinks. And the hug and head kiss she gave Julien after last night’s performance looks almost like a comforting thing, especially considering how shy jb used to be during silk performances?? And she hugs Lucy so tight every time it’s so sweet. She just loves those boys like she loves Naomi and Jo :(
