I said goodbye to my first fully painted army this week, my necrons. while they weren't my first army, my friend split an indomitus box with me early on in my Warhammer career, and most of my first year of Warhammer was necron focused. I haven't posted or played with them a lot since the time I started this blog, so I'm glad they're with a friend now and will get more use. I kept a couple of models of course, enough to play killteam with them, but I'm excited to one day fight against the very boys I helped raise!
bonus pic, here's their updated scheme. my friend isn't changing a lot, but wanted their glow to be green, and I gotta say, the updates look snappy
Try this on for size. Wrapping up one of my most favorite finds from @wargameexclusive . It’s a flying Squig!! (It’s all I can see.) I’m not entirely sure why I picked purple armour, but once I did there was no turning back and I had to give him his super silent and sneaky jet pack so he could assassinate with his squighammer.
Check out these amazing fan artworks submitted to my inktober spin off! So impressed with everyone! Thanks guys keep it up! And it’s far from to late to join in any day any amount is amazing! X

From the very first time I saw the incredible design of the Space Maid made by ChumiiCham, I wanted to paint one. Look at them, they are adorable :
Thanks to Solflamer that created a 3d model for them (available on Cult3d : https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/maidmarine) my dream came true.
It was both a really challenging mini to print correctly (mine still have defaults I patched up as well as I could with greenstuff. I'm a beginner both at 3d printing and greenstuff so that's not amazing) and to paint with a lot of shades of pink, but what a blast that was.
Anyway, here are all the other angle and the reference :
The absolute worst type of people in these fandoms are those who think the little plastic soldiers from the 80s were created to reinforce shitty political views of dipshits in the 2020s
"Humanity first but if you have fem space marines I will cry about it"
Not to mention almost none of these goobers actually paint, play, watch or read anything related to the hobby, and only found out what they wanted to know through overused memes on Facebook
Fuck outta here, let the rest of us paint and play with our little soldiers in peace
Hero’s have no place within the blighted realm of House Helmawr; The land of poisoning their bodies, the steel skies breaking their will. And yet the human spirit endured. Tormented and twisted, it has survived, and even thrived. Amongst the iron weeds of the ash-cursed planet. Men and Women, crushed beneath the feudal weight of the Imperium, their faces pushed into the dust, nonetheless can find the faint embers of their courage. They are the dregs of ancient bloodlines, the memory of great deeds hidden within their flesh, gifted to the across a thousand, thousand generations, from the forgotten origins of the world. The woman-warriors of Clan Esher are the inheritors of such genetic blessings, their long lost gene-mothers granting them a birthright stronger than the imperial chains locked around their throats. The True Necromundans are the Esher; descended from Queens, tempered by millennia, and sharpened to a Razor’s Edge, like the Blades their House is named for.
Straying for the classic yellow, I landed on a blue. Wild I know! 😂 but it seems to be my favorite color. There’s still so much I need to learn about skins and leathers that, in even a years time, I’ll probably hate how it looks. But for now! My unnamed Escher gang has a color scheme!
