Draken and Mikey freezes as that single sentences echoes in their head. This is a joke right? Did she seriously not know who they are?

"I'm sorry... I- I don't even know who I am..." she says quietly as she looks down.

Draken turns his head away to hide the tears streaming down his face as he clenches his fist, while Mikey just stares at the floor while his entire world collapses around him. He suddenly starts to feel faint as the room slowly starts spinning around him, that is until a quiet laugh fills the room. He picks his head following the sound and Draken turns back around, both finding the pink girl chuckling to herself.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't pass it up" she chuckles then whines a bit as pain shoots across her abdomen. "Dammit, karma"

"What..." Mikey just asks bluntly.

"The fuck is going on?" Draken asks in utter confusion.

"Of course I know who you are, idiots" she shakes her head and gives them a soft smile. "I'm sorry" she says softly in a genuine tone, actually feeling bad for scaring them.

"You stupid, bitch..." Draken growls before leaning down and hugging her tight, almost crushing her petite body. "You scared us so fucking much... silly girl" he mumbles into her shoulder as he holds her tight.

"Kenchin, you gonna crush her" Mikey finally speaks up and the tall one pulls away from her with a smile after kissing her forehead. "I'm glad you're alive"

She offers him a smile at him then she remembers back to Shini, and Baji... "Mikey, Shini says he's proud of you"

That sentence just rips across Mikey like a bullet. His entre body freezes and suddenly it became all too real for him and he just realizes she almost died, she literally almost lost her life. He just walks up to her and hugs her tight without a single word. He clings onto her and she can feel her shoulder slowly becoming damper with each passing second. He's crying. She wraps her arms around him and hold him close as much as she can from the IV and whatever other damn wires they stuck inside her. She holds him close to her and just gently caressing his back instantly settling down his demons and vanishing all his worries.

"I'm sorry for almost leaving you..." she whispers quietly.

"Just don't ever leave me again" he replies in the same quiet but serious tone as he gently squeezes her then pulls away. He gives her a look and a soft smile appears on his lips as he reaches out and caresses her cheek. She couldn't help but smiles as she looks at him then the other boy.

"You're okay, big guy?" she asks with a smile and extends her arm towards him.

"Shut up..." he chuckles and wipes his eyes before taking her hand and starts caressing it with his thumb. "Missed seeing your beautiful smile" he says softly then leans down and kisses the top of her petite hand.

"And I missed you two" she answers softly then a sigh escapes her lips. "I'm sorry Mikey, but I still don't know what happened..." she lies, she can't bring herself to tell him the truth.

Mikey shakes his head, dismissing her worry. "It's understandable Angel, you have gone through a lot in a very short period of time. I want you to relax and stay in bed for the upcoming few weeks. The gang and I will be taking care of you until you recover, this is a command and not arguable" he says in a serious tone.

"Yes, daddy" she pouts and his face just goes red making the pink laugh. "I'm just kidding" she says with a small laugh then looks at Draken who almost looks offended. "Don't give me that look, you know you're my only daddy" she says then bites her lip as she looks up at him with those big innocent puppy eyes he loves so much.

"Don't give me those eyes, because I will fuck you right here and right now" he growls, then lets out a small laugh. "Just kidding, neither of us going to touch you until you fully recover"

"This is gonna be long then" she lets out a playful dramatic sigh.

"But seriously... how are you feeling?" Draken asks with a sudden seriousness.

"Considering, I'm not too bad, I'm pretty sure I will be in lot of agony when the painkillers will get out of my system, but they patched me up pretty well" she says pointing at the area where she been stabbed. "But Mikey, are you okay? No offense but you look like shit, babe"

"Wow, thanks babe, love you too" he rolls his eyes then chuckles.

"He was here with you all night" Draken explains and Mikey just clicks his tongue in annoyance.

"Shut up Kenny..." the short man crosses his arms on his chest and looks away embarrassed.

"Mikey... is it true?" she eyes the blonde gremlin.

"I'll leave you to alone for a bit" Draken says and before anyone could protest he walks out.

Angel 1st POV:

Sudden silence falls onto the room as Mikey just stares out the window and I just stare at him. Was he really here all night?

"Mikey..." I call softly.

"I couldn't leave you..." he finally speaks up then turns his head back to me. "I was terrified of losing you too" he says and I know he means Shinichiro. Should I tell him?

"You know me, I'm a tough bitch" I grin at him trying to lighten the mood deciding not to say anything about what I experienced while I was unconscious.

"That you are" he smiles and lets out a relieved sigh. "Until you fully recover you'll be laid off of your duties in the gang" he says in a serious tone.

"Can I at least still go to the meetings?" I pout as I look at him.

"Only when you're feeling better. You're having a week off, myself or someone from the gang will look after you, I'll arrange everything for you. I need you to recover quick and to come back, plus Kenny and I have a surprise for you" he smiles and I cock a brow curious.

"What is it?" I ask excited.

"You really don't grasp the meaning of surprise, do you?" he cocks a brow then lets out a small laugh. "You'll see once you recover" he winks.

"You're an ass" I pout and look away offended.

"Tell me something I don't know" he replies with a grin and we both start laughing then suddenly the door swings open and the A-team rushes in with Draken standing behind them with a murderous look.

"I told you all to stay out!" he barks at them.

"Put a sock in it Draken" Mitsuya grins at him then rushes by my side. "How's my favorite gang member?"

"What? I thought I was your favorite!!" Hakkai says offended and Mitsuya just gives him a Really? look and he shuts up then looks at me. "How you holding up girlie?" he ask as he sits up on my bed.

"Yeah, are you okay?" Chifuyu asks worried as he rushes to me almost knocking Mikey over who just gives him a death glare.

"We got you gifts!" Peh says as he lifts up the bouquet of sunflowers and the helium balloons.

"I picked the flowers" Mitsuya chimes in proudly.

"But I suggested to get flowers!" Chifuyu cuts in.

"Oh fuck you all, it was my idea to get her stuff!" Hakkai exclaims.

"Shut the fuck up all of you cause I was the one paying for it" Draken growls ready to murder the rescue rangers gathered around my bed.

"Thank you, but you really shouldn't have got me anything" I chuckle softly and suddenly the room goes quiet and I find myself with a multiple pair of eyes reflecting death in them. "I mean I LOVE them so much" I correct myself before they put me back into a coma.

"But seriously, how are you feeling?" the silver haired captain asks in a genuine tone as he looks at me.

"I'm doing well, thank you" I smile at him and the others. "Thank you all for coming in"

"Of course, we're family" Peh nods and everyone else nods in agreement. Sometimes I forgot how lucky I am to be able to call these guys my brothers.

"We didn't find out anything about what happened though, Mikey" Chifuyu speaks up. "We had all of Toman investigating but we got nothing"

"But we did find the person who stabbed Baji..." Hakkai says and suddenly the room goes quiet.

"Who was it?" I speak up first, my soft tone long gone and there was nothing but coldness in my voice as I looked at the blue haired vice captain.

"It was someone from the 1st division" he replies and Chifuyu picks his head up.

"Our own man?" he growls and before he could continue I interrupt him.

"Commander, I request to deal with this person myself personally" I say in a serious tone as I look at Mikey.

"That duty will be placed upon the 1st Division captain" Mikey says in a calm tone. "I already know Baji's replacement, but we won't have an official meeting until Angel fully recovers" he announces and everyone nods in agreement. "Until then we'll continue the investigation in who stabbed her, understood?" he almost barks.

I go quiet and starting to feel guilty. I don't want them wasting their time and energy chasing a phantom who is already in jail. As much as Kazutora betrayed all of us, if Mikey finds out he will kill him and I know him, I know if he ends him he won't be able to live the with guilt. He already has a suffocating amount of internal darkness he has to wrestle everyday I don't want him to suffer more.

"Could you all leave please?" I speak up and look at them. They all nod and start to move but I reach out and gently grab Mitsuya's wrist. "Except you"

Mikey and Draken gave me a weird look but respected my request and left along with everyone else. Once we were alone Mitsuya gave me a confused but also worried look.

"Angel..? What's going on?" he asks as he sits back down on the edge of my bed.

"I lied... I know who stabbed me" I say as I look at him and his eyes widen in shock and I can tell he realizes if I didn't tell I had a very good reason for it.

"Who was it...? I know you Angel, if you know and if you didn't tell it means it was someone from Toman, right?" he says as he looks at me.

"What I'm about to tell you, you cannot under any circumstance tell Mikey" I say in a serious tone as I look into his eyes. "You're the only one I can trust to tell this because you won't react irrationally unlike how Draken and Mikey would"

"Yeah... They don't exactly have a level head when it comes to you" he shakes his head then looks at me again. "Who was it then?"

"Kazutora..." I say quietly and I can tell Mitsuya's face flinched as a wave of anger washed over him.

"Now I understand why you didn't tell Mikey... he would have hunt him down and kill him himself" he shakes his head.

"I'd like to ask a favour of you. As the leader of the 2nd Division, I ask you to request Mikey to put you in charge of the investigation, take over the entire investigation and... and help me find someone to pin it on" I say it in a serious tone.

"Shit... As much as I am against it, we both know Mikey, he will not let this go. Unless... You talk to Kazutora" he says as he glances at me and my fist clenches. "He betrayed us all but there's a reason why Baji always stuck by him-"

"And look what he did to Baji!" I snap at him as I interrupt him.

"Yes, I know, but maybe talk to him? We're all used to be so close and I can't help but feel we abandoned him... and before you'd kill me, yes I know what he did to Shinichiro and Mikey, but think back... Do you think Shinichiro would want this?" he cocks a brow as he looks at me and I just stay quiet. "Just talk to him... he lost himself the second he killed Shinichiro, he is a broken shell of the person he used to be"

"I know... "I admit quietly. As much as I hate Kazutora seeing him how he was broke my heart. He was a stupid little shit who had the brightest fucking smile in the entire group. His eyes were filled with hope and excitement, he treated each day like it's the last, always living life to the fullest. Then there he was... those golden eyes once shining with hope just completely empty. Once he got out of juvie non of us checked up on him once... maybe we are all responsible for the monster he had become. I clench my fist then sigh as I look at Mitsuya. "Can you help me arrange a visit?"
