I really and truely do belive that the Ellen controversy of 2021 is one of the best examples of western brainrot, and why it is so difficult to deal with them, because it is so obvious which lives westerners do and don't value. It is so sick to me, that it was not her buddy buddy relationship with Bush, the war criminal and mass murderer, that brought her down, a relationship which she went ON AIR TO DEFEND, but rather the fact that she was kinda rude and awful to a bunch of westerners, her staff. THAT is what broke the camels back.

What it communicates to us, in the middle east, to the rest of the world, is that you can share a laugh, and befriend a man who is responsible for thousands upon thousands upon millions of lives, a million Iraqis dead, entire countries destroyed, dominated, and it simply does not affect your carrer. Becasue the people dont care, they dont care, about brown lives. Not one bit. But oh? your fucking assistant and camera operators and writers with their fancy college degrees and status as a member of the west, they were disrespected? THATS what we should end her career over. Like its so fucking sick to me how people from that part of the world will push and push and push for the image of civiliety, and kindness, and rationell, when all they do is devalue anyone who isnt from the west, who isnt white. If you are brown, your lives dont matter. Simple as. Imagine if she had been spotted at a ball game sharing a moment with a ANY leader from ANY muslim nation. I hate the west
