literally nobody would think about this except me, but creating my crack theory that cyrano is part of the roger family from pokemon duel (essentially a mafia family like rockets implied to be, but even more explicit bc they call the first guy the "don") bc he has a near identical outfit to joe, and the same colour scheme as the rest of them

used my mafia family's money from swindling rich kids on an artificial island full of hotels dedicated to games we made up, to build a school on an artificial island to swindle rich kids parents dedicated to games i made up

The other day i was randomly looking up pokemon mobile games then i stumbled upon this (now discontinued for it not being popular enough ) game, it's called "pokemon duel" it has really interesting and cool character designs and there's this on particular one that i feel like you'd like, his name is " Don Roger " now enjoy 😂👍

can we give a shoutout to these awesome character designs that are trapped on this defunct mobile game please

i especially like Nadya (this girl) cuz she's clearly supposed to be based on Kalos cuz shes wearing some clothes from XY and any acknowledgement of that region makes me happy

this guy's name is just "Number 7" and honestly any guy with heavy eyebags, crazed expression, spiky hair, strange hoodie and an unconventional name gets the automatic favorite

this guy is just named Joe and he looks like a dorky guy who goes to the school dance just to sit against the wall and drink punch. power to him

this one here is Brenda and she gives off Battle Frontier vibes honestly. She looks like she'd be friends with Lucy.

theres more than these but these are the only ones that looked cool to me. also three are missing lol so i guess we'll never know what they looked like

edit: did some more digging and found full versions of the character art on the Nintendo wiki of all places

Campaign for Mystery Dungeon:

I played this game when I was like 7 years old and I still think it has the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard. Hearing just a few seconds off of the main theme, or the music that would play while you take the quiz to see which Pokémon you would be, or On the Beach at Dusk makes me emotional and rekindles that sense of anticipation for a great story of adventure that was first sparked all those years ago. You’d be hard pressed to find a single mediocre track in this soundtrack. Also shoutout to Waterfall Cave even if you have never played this game PLEASE listen to Waterfall Cave

Campaign for Skyward Sword:

Zelda games have some of the best soundtracks ever and you can fight me on that BUT. Skyward Sword is both very dear to my heart AND the best one (of the games I've played, at least). So many of the overworld songs are great (Faron Woods, Lanayru Sand Sea, Isle of Songs), and the dungeon ones (Lanayru Mining Facility, the Sand Ship), and the quest exclusive ones (all the harp songs, whatever plays during the Wing Ceremony), and the cutscene ones (Follow Fi, Fi's Farewell, Romance in the Air, Zelda's Lullaby (or whatever it's called in this game)). Like literally it could not be better. Banger after banger after banger.

It's the first Zelda game I played and the music swept me away. :)

We all know the line. It's Ryou at his most powerful: outsmarting and defeating Bakura all on his own very early on in the series. Not sure for yall, but I've only ever heard and known it in the voice of Kashiwakura Tsutomu (season 0).

So! I was pleasantly surprised to find out that in the YGO × Power Pros collab, there's a soundbite of that very line in the voice of Matsumoto Rica!

Lmao yeah that's Bakura's sprite in the video since he's the playable character in the collab, I think? idk anything about the collab tbh (baseball???) but Ryou has that line at least.

Bakura has his own lines too. They're mostly reworded/rerecorded Battle City ones, including when he shields Ryou from Osiris' attack and, uh, quite the ecstatic/maniacal declaration of "Millennium Eye! Get!" (as in, "The Millennium Eye is mine!") from Duelist Kingdom. Bakura's voice is deeper and a bit raspier. Same quality from Duel Links.
