Way back in 2020 I drew myself with all the Pokémon I’d used in playthrough teams, and in the years since I’ve done plenty of new Pokémon games so I decided I really wanted to re do that old art! But of course updated to include all my new teammates!

These guys all came from either Sun, Ultra Moon, Ultra Sun, X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, Black, White 2, or Soul Silver! And I’ve played most of those games more then once lol. I keep notes on all the Pokémon on my teams and their stats, names, abilities, all the jazz, and it definitely came in handy for this project! I will say though, I’ve used legendarys on my teams before, but I just didn’t have space for Pokémon that big for this, so I didn’t include any of the legendarys (I’m so sorry Nebby the Solgaleo)

I love Pokémon so so much and I’m incredibly happy with how this turned out!

I think the saddest thing about the 3DS Online being shut down is all the hundreds or thousands of Pokémon deposited on the GTS or Pokémon Bank that are now permanently abandoned with no way of anyone ever seeing them, if they haven't already been erased from existence the second the connection was severed like that one scene of Wreck It Ralph

I always avoided Pokémon Ultra Sun (and Moon) because I love Lusamine's villainy in the original Pokémon Sun and Moon and didn't want to see it diluted. But I heard there was a lot of good added content, so I went through with a Fairy team: Primarina, Ribombee, Whimsicott, Alolan Ninetales, Mawile, and returning champion Mimikyu.

Pokemon Moon Emerald First Team

A fun and casual fun with decent gym leader and elite four fights. I played the version with a highly raised shiny rate and got a lot of shinies. This game has a massive pokedex but is mainly focused around Alola pokemon and has a similar 'difficulty' level to mainline pokemon games. The sole exception are the gym leaders, victory road and pokemon league which have much larger teams with higher levels and good movepools giving you good boss fights that are sadly out phase with the mainline level curve. Norman was a massive spike while Winonas team was around the same level as him.

Still, this is a fun hack. Team below:

Argent, a bashfull shiny Tsareena with chlorophyll. She was caught in Petalburg woods as Bounsweet and was weak. After getting crushed to Roxanne I trained her up until she evolved, taught her the bullet seed tm and she swept the now under-leveled Roxanne and did the same to Brawly. She became my in story starter and despite never learning a better physical grass move her miracle seed powered bullet seed combined with return for coverage made her a dependable great early game mon who was still fine in the late game, taking down Wallaces Milotic single handidly.

Ivanka, a naive Gumshooes with runaway. She was my first official pokemon, caught as a yungoose with pick up. She was not useful against Roxanne and Brawly due to type match ups. She then became a solid team mate, hitting extremely hard while being not too slow and not too frail. She pulled her weight the entire game and sadly only learned extreme speed at the very end.

Jemina, a naive Alolan Golem with Rock Head. She was caught as an Alolan Geodude in Granite Cave and sadly was incompatible with the Wild Charge Tm in all stages and didn't a rock recoil move. She was a good mon, tanking physical hits like a champ and having a great offensive movepool.

Firecream, docile salazzle with flash fire. She was caught in Firey Pass, and due to knowing dragon rage was horribly overpowered for that stage of the game. She was the teams fastest mon and it's only special attacker, giving her a vital niche as a revenge killer with a great fire stab and massive tm movepool. She was vital to defeating the fairy champion Wallace by nasty plot sweeping most of his team.

Meet Doctor Chomp,a Quiet Shiny Bruxish with Water Viel caught on the old rod on route 114. He was great in the midgame with a good typing against flannery and getting surf as a good water move. He fill off abit in the second half of the game until he learned psychic fang for coverage the early 40s and got a good physical water move. As a fast attacker with a priority move he was a great revenge killer.

Earth's End, an adamant Kommo-o with Soundproof. Caught in his first form on route 123 where he was initially very weak and even after evolving still feel behind in the late game before evolving a second time in victory road. With great stats and the ability to setup sweep with dragon dance he carried the team through the elite four despite being terrible against the champion.

Either my team is super under leveled or the Alola Elite Four is MUCH harder than I remember it being lol

#I started replaying Sun about a week ago and I just beat it #But DAMN I got my ass WHOOPED #Especially by Kukui I had to use at least 4 max revives to survive #LIKE. BRO. SINCE WHEN WAS SUN AND MOON SO DIFFICULT #My Pokemon were around lv 59 or so so a few levels higher than everyone else’s? #Might have been too low honestly. #Or maybe my team this time just sucks. Idk I thought they worked pretty well lol #I wanted to use all new Pokemon I’d never used in a SM playthrough before so #Narrows eyes #Maybe it’s bc I avoided wild Pokemon encounters entirely?? #I did every single trainer battle but I used repels literally the entire game fjdndndn #ANYWAY it has been a while since I’ve played SM at all so maybe I just didn’t remember it being difficult. Ofc only 10 call ins a day made this go longer but this SOS shiny hunt is over!!! The 4th member of the shiny only playthrough mawile has appeared!

The hunt started on Sept. 2nd, 2022 so it took over a month and it was under odds at call in 169 with no shiny charm!!!

I usually been going over 255 call ins lol. This also my first ever shiny mawile on my pokemon game to my knowledge.

Stay tuned for next shiny hunt in the ten caret hill further hallows, not sure which mon I will hunt yet.

I got to let my poor 2ds that has been on on sleep mode and charger rest for a few days first tho.

ok I think what I will do with the nuzlocke idea is like. at least start the playthrough and script things out? and like maybe draw comics and stuff but only actually. upload them with the idea of continuing them if I can get 15 pages done in a reasonable amount of time.
