Akane Aoi

Akane is a lovestruck man, when he falls in love he does it hard, he just loves all of you and doesn't mind at all that you are blind (although, it sadden him a little that you won't be able to appreciate the world with your beautiful eyes) he just love you for who you are and is willing to help you in anything he can

Even before start dating Akane learn all that he has to have in consideration while dealing with a blind person, but he actually never really bring it up to the topic and when he does is with all the respect, in the other hand he is always making sure nothing get in your way or that anyone wants to bother you or even take advantage of your disability (or in general, he won't let anyone making any kind of offence against you)

Akane is always by your side (unless it makes you uncomfortable, in that case he will step back but not for too long, it sadden him be away from you), he likes to guide you around the school hand by hand (or anywhere, really), even if you already know the way by heart or have your own cane he insist on guiding you

If you ever need help in anything you don't have to even ask, Akane is so observant and lovestruck that he had learn to reconize your body language and is always paying attention to you, besides nothing makes him more happy to be of help to his beloved partner, he is willing accommodate his whole life in a order that benefits you if it make it easier for you (is probably that he learn how read in braille just because it is related to you)

Despite the fact that Akane is completely lovestruck that doesn't mean he is blinded by that love, he is capable to reconize all your capabilities and actually admires you for be in able to adapt your life despite not being able to see, he doesn't underestimated you and even try to step back and leave you do things that he knows you are capable of do. He is just always there for you because he loves you and loves being with you, he swears (and has no problem with expressing it a million of times) that he doesn't treat you the way he does because you are blind, even if your weren't blind he will still treat you as royalty

Akane is pretty protective over you, again even if you weren't blind he would still be protective over you, and not just from other people but also the supernaturals, he tries to keep you as far away as posible from the supernaturals and people with ill intentions or that will bring nothing but bad comments about you, it only takes a bad comment about you about you and he is ready to throw his hands against that person, although most of the time he doesn't do anything too serious (or at least not in front of you)

Is common for blind people to guide themselfs by their hands, that is why he always want to be holding your hand to guide you (besides, he loves holding your hand). However, he loves just spending quality time with you by just watching you guide yourself around your house or touching diferent things, discovering the world in your own way (he may will want to try it with you, he just thinks is adorable), and if you ask him if you could feel his face he waste no time before screaming answering with an excited yes, he doesn't hesitant to let you do it and insist that you can do it all the times you want (please just forgive him if his cheeks feels like burning during the first times you do it)

Despite being so lovestruck and showering you with compliments all the time, Akane can be serious when the situation is need it so he is really good at comforting you if you need it and giving you a boost on your self-esteem and self-confidence, he stops being cheerful for a moment to speak from his heart with a lot of seriousness, making your worries go away easily

Hanako-kun

Hanako is a really caring partner, despite being all playful and teasing he is constantly worring about your well-being, even before start dating and even if you weren't blind he is just really caring in general, so since you are important for him is only like a second nature for him to care for you

He tries to don't make a big deal about you being blind because he doesn't want to make you feel like he is underestimating you or that he doesn't trust on you but he can't just not worry about you, in his mind he is already putting you in danger by just being with you for his position and his goal and since you can't see anything that just worries him more. Most of the time he is able to handle his anxiety but whenever you two were in danger or something happen to you his anxiety is trigger and he can handle himself

For him it doesn't matter much if you are a supernatural or a human, completely capable to protect yourself or not, he will be protective over you (but tries to don't be pushy or overwhelming), he is there immediatly whenever another supernatural or human is threating your safety (although, he can't do much when it comes to other humans)

He is spending all his free time by your side, making sure you are alright and just enjoying your company. Sometimes, when a person have a problem with one of his senses, the others are sharpened so if that happens to you he likes to tease you and test your senses in a playful manner, sneaking behind you wanting to know if you will notice him before he is able to reach you (and probably steal a kiss or hug, taking you by surprise) other times he just whisper in your ears sweet but teasing nothings

He is pretty curious to know how you persive the world and he really wants to ask but he is too shy to do so, if you don't express that to him maybe one day he will gain the courage to ask you. If you ask him to describe you something (because you need to know or are just curious) he will try to do his best, although he is a little bit of embarrassed and nervous about not giving you an useful explanation, and he just makes himself more nervous by telling himself that he has to do his best since you are counting on him (but will never admit it out loud, unless you catch him there)

If you guide yourself by your hands he makes sure you don't have to touch anything that can harm you, as well, he always takes mental notes of your items of support (like your cane in case you have one), specially whenever you let it at the side

If you ever ask him if he would let you feel his face with your hands in an attempt to make a mental image of him he will be extremely nervous about it, he feels like this would be a really intimate and personal thing between you two and he doesn't know how to handle it (even if for you isn't so personal for him it is), he will try to take it against you by teasing you about it in an attempt to cover up his embarrasment. It will take a lot of insistance to convince him to let you do it and still he will be blushing a lot when you do it, giving you a soft apology for it, wanting to turn around but at the same time not wanting to force you to stop

It take a while for him to get used to your condition but once he does he will treat you normally, not making a big deal out of your blindness but also making some jokes and playful teasing (as his usual), mainly when you two are with your friends, but when he is alone he let himself be more calm and soft, he gives his best whenever you need comfort (even when it embarrasses him) or whenever you need help due your condition

Sometimes he lets himself relax and close his eyes, paying attention to everything around in an attempt to appreciate the world like you do and trying to understand you better

Nene Yashiro

First of all, Yashiro is incredibly happy to finally be dating someone, being and love and be reciprocated! She is so happy from that simple fact that everything else doesn't matter anymore. Although, that doesn't mean she doesn't take seriously your disability because she does

It would take her a while to get used at the fact that you can't see at all, she doesn't see a problem with it, is just that it makes her sad that you can't see and apreciate the beauty of the world with your eyes (although, she is grateful that you can't see her ankles), most of the time she tries to act like she doesn't really think about it quite a lot or that it doesn't sadden her because she doesn't want to bother you with it or seem like she is pitying you, but she isn't the best at hidding it either

Yashiro is a hopless romantic so she wants to do all kind of romantic things with you, although your disability may make a little dificult to do some things but she always manage to come up with something, she doesn't mind at all adapting the plans for romantic dates to you. However, there are some things she does even once she is already used to your disability, things like making pretty presents (wrapping gifts in nice and cute ways), making effords to dress nicely whenever you go out or taking you to places that are beautiful

Yashiro doesn't try to romanticize your disability but she can help but find extremely cute and romantic if you rely on her for help, even for the smallest things like helping you find your way around in a new place or describing something for you, she always does it with a small but sweet smile

Yashiro likes holding your hand while walking and if it helps you to find your way around makes her feel more proud and happy since she is of help, although if you prefer to use a cane or your own hand is fine (but she will still pay attention to where you walk so you don't bump into something or someone)

Yashiro normally doesn't talk about your disability nor make jokes about it, and if it does she make it she speaks with a lot of respect and even nervousness, even if you are fine with it and even you yourself make jokes about it it would take her a while to feel comfortable with doing it herself

She is pretty curious about how you percive the world since you depend in your other senses, so whenever your are doing things like concentranding on what is happening, feeling something new in your hands or even reading she can't help to look at you with a lot of love and even blushing (although, most of the time she become aware of the fact that she was staring after a moment and become incredibly embarrased)

If you ever ask her if you could hold her face to see her she will get immediatly flustered and nervous, she ask you twice just to make sure she understand right your request, despite how nervous and blushy she is Yashiro doesn't want to decline your request, so she sutter a nervous but excited yes, as your hands get closer and closer her heartbeat increase their speed and her cheeks will get more and more red (she quietly apologize for all of it and offer to try it again once she calm down, although she probably won't calm down soon)

She doesn't like much confrontantion but has not problem on stepping in front of you to defend you and help you if someone dares to say something about you (and Hanako and Kou are the same, because is for sure that she will introduce you to them)

Hakubo

Hakubo normally doesn't does things on his own, so it has to start by you or someone else asking him to help you (with something small or fully helping you for your disability), it was a really slow process but the more time you two pass together the more Hakubo start taking a liking to you and start to do things for you for his liking and not because he was asked for it

Hakubo is really good to adjust to any kind of work he is asked for so getting used to the fact that you can't see and helping you around is rather easy for him, it doesn't take him long to reach the point where he does help you almost automatically

The love grows slowly, and with the pass of time Hakubo learns more and more, and, also, he start to wish more and do things on his own, so before you two even start a relasionship he already started to help you and actively try to be closer to you just because he wants to

Hakubo doesn't mind at all that you are blind and has already got used to it long ago, so for him doing things like helping you around, guiding you around the places and being protective over you is just like the normal things to do to him

If you ask him to describe you something it would depend on what you ask for, for example if you ask about a situation that needs some kind of solution (like if there are obstacles in the way or if the road is safe) he is completely capable to describe it to you, may be a little too formal in his way of speaking but is just that he wants to be as useful as posible; in the other hand, if you ask him to describe you something like a landscape or how something looks he won't really know how to do it, he stares confused at what you are asking for before trying to give you an answer, what end up being a pretty simple descrption (if you are disappointed by his answer he will quietly apologize)

You can ask him anything and he will be happy to do it, even if you ask for help for something that isn't related to your disability he won't have problem with doing it (unless is something extremely silly or too playful, he will stare at you for a moment dumbfounded), however, you have to ask for the favor, he has a lot of troubles when it comes to choose to do things on his own, although with time he learns more about knowing when it is okay for him to offer his help of his own volition. He likes to be useful to you and still he feels happy and even proud of you whenever you are able to do things on your own

If you ever ask him to let you feel his face with his hands he doesn't think much of it and accept without hesitantion, however is until when you start caresing his face with your hands when he start to feel more flustered, he may feel a little embarrassed by it but wont stop you, he grows to apreciate it and take it as a really intimate and loving gesture (may even start doing it to you too)

Hakubo doesn't see why to get into inecessary fights, however that doesn't mean he will let others mess with you, he is protective over you so he is immediatly by your side if someone says something bad about you or tries to bother you, normally he just step in to shield you and depending on the other person is when he will decide to just take you away or send them a deadly glare (he only gets physical when is a mayor offence since he is obviously stronger due being a oni)

Despite the fact that most of the time he is more serious and even formal Hakubo will grow more and more comfortable and confident (to the point you two become friends and even a couple), so at some point Hakubo will start being more friendly with you, making some jokes and teasing (mainly that), although he only makes jokes about your disability is he is 100% sure you are alright with it (and yet, it would take him a while to bring it up in a joke or teasing)

I finally did the proper thing and bought some Aspec books! This is the second of my haul and I just got done reading it! I've seen posts about it here on Tumblr and when I saw my bookstore had it, I had to get it! We gotta support our aspec creators!

So first off, it's great. It's funny, there's lots of chemistry, and it's sweet. The second volume has a theme I really appreciate and it's the fact that THIS is what it's like to have queer friends! The comfort, the lack of worry about crushes, being able to open up about huge important parts about yourself that they would understand or at least feel a bit of relation to, it's just so good.

And showing Gakurouta getting jealous of Momo-kun, not because he's secretly in love with Yuriko, but because he cares about her and wants to keep being close to her and doesn't want their relationship to end because she found a intimacy with someone else, just, chefs kiss! Cause I feel that all the time, and it's also so nice to have it be allo person feeling it instead of a Aspec person-- it feels like a turn of the trope. Also...Gakurouta feels demiromantic to me, he so reads demiro, like, read it yourself guys, the way he describes his attraction to Sousuke??? Anyway

Also, like, Yuriko being happy that her two boys are getting along and becoming individual friends feels so good. The blush on her cheeks when she thinks about it. She's so me. It's a short and beautiful moment. Also the FUCINF CAKE REFERENCE OMG THEY HAD TO PUT A DESERT ANALOGY TO ASEXUALITY HUH

Also like, the brief mentioning of fujoshi culture.. it's good that they brought it up cause I really thought they were gonna skip past it, even if it was just a short bit.

So glad Japan has so many stranger to friends to roommate Aspec stories: Is Love the Answer, Koisenu Futari, Sukiyaki Tonight (which is the newest one), and now I've read this: I Want To Be A Wall. I can't wait for the next volume!

META ANALYSIS - Mitsukou (part 1)

General topic - how they’re written as a one of the romantic couples in the story

Before I start, I need to say few things:

1. I’m not native english speaker. I’m probably going to make a lot of errors and mistakes, mix times, have a lacking vocabulary etc. Please be ready for it. I want to write my meta post anyway, so I would be happy if you will stay to the end with me!

2. If you do not like Mitsukou/hate this ship or anything like that - maybe this post it's not for you. It's totally okay to ship different thing and like different things, I don’t mind. My post is not a starter for a discussion tho, I’m not interested in discourses, argues and hate. I don’t really plan to “prove” anything to anyone or force you to change your mind, whole post is only MY analysis and my point of view. You are not obligated to feel the same way I feel, to see things the same way I see them.

3. I’m not interested in proving if Mitsukou is going to ever be canon or anything. I don’t know that. I’m also not going to analyze if they’re ever going to be a CANON COUPLE or an ENDGAME COUPLE. It’s only about if they’re written as a romantic relationship, and being written as a romantic couple =/= being a canon couple, they’re a lot of pairs in media that definitely are written as a romantic relationship without them being together ever or being an endgame. I’m not going to speculate about endgame, especially when one of the characters is supernatural and one is a human.

Okay, I think we can start now!

Let's start from the beginning. Because my first language is not english my post may be a little bit chaotic, putting all my thoughts in at least some order and with at least some sense it's actually hard, haha. In part 1 I will try to cover the first meeting between Kou and the ghost of Mitsuba.

So!

They first met during chapter 18. And it was meeting between Kou and ghost of a Mitsuba Sousuke, so it wasn’t our currently Mitsuba - it worth to mention they're not the same person, even if they are extremely similar, share a lot elements of their personalities, they look nearly the same, and current Mitsuba even share some dead Sousuke's memories because of School Mystery No. 4 Shijima Mei and her Picture Perfect arc. Still - not the same person and Mitsuba Kou met in chapter 18 is not the current Mitsuba.

At the beginning they're not really that much written as a romantic, their short arc was more like something starting Kou’s personal arc and his development. He got some background, some motivation, some angst, he changed. For most part Kou behaved pretty normal, just like himself - a selfless, lively boy that really wanted to help a lonely, sad ghost that Mitsuba was. (he wasn’t traumatized yet). Even if some of their interaction could be readed with a shippy glasses, there wasn’t anything that was inherently romantic about them.

I think it's kind of ironic how this is literally their first panel in the manga. Mitsuba literally looks like some kind of eldritch horror and he says “Did you forget about me?”. Yeah Kou, did you? This quite sums some elements of their arc. We know that Kou actually did forget about Mitsuba, who was one of his classmates. Also, Kous' trauma, related to everything that happened to Mitsuba, hunts him for the rest of the story. He also, clearly has a problem with recognition of both Mitsubas, with dealing with Ghost Mitsuba death and with the idea of forgetting someone and leaving someone. We also know that, when current!Mitsuba was made by Tsukasa, he didn’t remember Kou. That's why this quote here is very ironic.

There is nothing really to analyze here but I find it funny. Yeah, you quite literally just haunted the wrong guy and it’s going to be a problem for you and said guy for the next 15 volumes of the manga. Good luck.

Even after calling Mitsuba an “evil spirit” Kou still tries to help him and even decides to “take the big tough guy approach” to make Mitsuba feel safer about him. Kou is not really “the big tough guy”, even if he tries to pose as one. He is a 14 yo kid with kind of fucked up situation in life, even, if he doesn’t recognize it yet.

Maybe you could learn something from Kous stupid earning, mr. boy who DIED in the car accident.

It's definitely not an accident that Mitsuba died hit by a car and Kou has a BIG earning with a big caption “TRAFFIC SAFETY”. Even after reading all chapters up to 103 I’m not really sure how I should interpret this exact symbolism in their relationship, but it's definitely done on purpose by the authors. I think it may symbolize that Kou, with a “traffic safety” earning will save Mitsuba, who previously died in a traffic accident from dying another time? Like, now Mitsuba have Kou by his side and maybe Kou will manage to keep him safe. His earning is mentioned by Mitsuba too many times, it's done so we can notice it, for sure. And I wonder how it turns out.

It’s the first time Mitsuba suggests that Kou either has some kind of feelings toward him, tries to do something dirty towards him or something similar. Every time he just jokes or tries to provoke Kou or something like that. At first I thought it's just how Mitsuba is, some people love to joke like that, but then I noticed, later in the story, that Kou is quite literally the only person Mitsuba ever does this to. Sure he does not have many friends “his age” but still during the manga it would be possible for him to behave like that toward other characters, but he does not. He jokes like that only toward Kou and I think during the next parts of my writing I will point it out more.

Even after 20 minutes of insulting he is still concerned about Mitsuba. That's so funny and sweet.

Yeeeaaah sure it totally does not relate in any way to the fact that ghost Motsuba got to die after taking a photo of KOU out of everything yeeeeaaaah nada nope. It's crazy how the authors planned this because Hanako really started as some kind of funny manga about kids and ghosts and supernatural things, but the angst we get later is actually top notch and kinda scary. There was few moments I really had to like, stand up and walk in my room because of the emotions I felt after reading.

Look how happy he is with the idea of being a model to the Mitsubas photos. He is bright, smiling and even blushing. The next ironic thing is how he cried after actually seeing a picture of himself made by Mitsuba. Also I like how prominent his earning is here.

Mitsuba is very particular, he really made pictures only of animals, plants and other non-human things. That's probably why his photo of Kou hit me like a train. That's literally narratively confirming that Mitsuba saw Kou as something (someone) he likes, someone that is important to him. Kou also realized it after seeing the picture, that was one of the reasons why he was so devastated.

There are few things about that whole scene I would like to point up. The first are doves. Mitsuba, especially Ghost Mitsuba, is often presented with doves as a form of his symbolism. Doves and cherry blossoms are probably the most prominent symbols of his character. I’m not really that good when it comes to symbols, but I think doves symbolize things like peace, but also some form of innocence/purity and love. Some sources also say about transformation and spirituality. I think one of the reasons for choosing doves is to symbolize how he didn’t deserve to die like that, that his soul is actually good and seeks for peace. In Kou’s eyes he is also someone innocent, definitely. Especially when we are talking about ghost Mitsuba at the beginning of a story.

ALSO I’m pretty sure birds are foreshadowing to current!Mitsuba being made from the school mystery no. 3 who looked like a bird and who current!Mitsuba gained a lot of his characteristics from. Current!Mitsuba hair looks like feathers, his hand looks like talons etc. He is heavily associated with birds from the beginning. Even if Ghost!Mitsuba is associated with doves more and current!Mitsuba with ravens or crows.

The next thing about this scene is Kou finally realizing he knew Mitsuba and it hit him. Understanding that Mitsuba actually KNEW Kou and it was Kou who didn’t remember him probably made him feel remorse and generally really bad about himself. That’s not a nice thing if you forget about a boy who was with you in a class, and the fact that ghost Mitsuba actually tried to talk to him and asked him “Did you forget about me”... It's hard for me to even imagine what Kou felt at that moment.

Also, Mitsuba surely didn’t know about Kou being from an exorcist family, so he wouldn't expect that Kou will take direct action after meeting a ghost lol. If it comes to Mitsuba, I’m pretty sure it was very scary.

I wish we could see more of them like that. Just like two boys having fun with each other. I love angst, trust me. But I think they deserve rest and to just have a chance to play and talk a be… normal for once. Everytime when they get a chance to have fun they’re cute and hilarious together.

Rain can symbolize sadness and hard emotions soooo yeah, I’m not surprised it started raining. I think it sort of symbolizes feelings of both Kou and Mitsuba here.

They’re going to the third floor and I’m sure it's foreshadowing to Mitsuba becoming a School Mystery no. 3.

I’m still impressed how much foreshadowing is during their first meeting (chap 18-20). Like the birds, nr 3, traffic safety earning, motif of remembering/forgetting etc. You could also think that photography would be something like that but… it's not. Photography becomes a thing that is helping recognizing human/ghost Mitsuba from current supernatural Mitsuba. They’re similar but not the same person. Photos were one of the main characteristics of the original Mitsuba, both in this arc and during a moment with Mitsubas mother later. It was always about photos, but it's never about photos when it comes to our current Mitsuba.

Yeah, that kind of explains why Kou didn’t remember him immediately, even after seeing how Mitsuba looks and hearing his surname he should know. Because, like, Kou should remember him, they were in the same class, sit close to each other etc. But the mask that Mitsuba created was so strong that made him nearly imperceptible (like, you know, a ghost hah) and at this point tbh I don’t think Mitsuba liked it very much. He is actually a pretty bold and cocky person and all of this probably bugged him. Of course he wasn’t bullied, but was it worth becoming somebody different, somebody boring and bland to others? I think there is some form of regret. But also I don’t think that ALL of this was a mask, because Mitsuba definitely has some of a calmer and more sweet side to himself, he showed it a lot of times.

He tries to fix it up by recognizing him now for who he is. With both his positive and negative aspects, even if he points out mostly his flaws. Still, this is the Mitsuba he met, the Mitsuba he knows and the Mitsuba he IS GOING TO remember. Mitsuba he befriended now. It actually means a lot for Sousuke. He is dead, he may have thought that it's the end for him and for all of his relationships he ever had. Its funny how Mitsuba said he is a ghost because he still wanted to do photos, but the truth is he wanted relationships, but the true ones. Not based on his “fake” nice self, but on real him with all his flaws and that's why he haunted other students rather than just… go do photos or something. He tried to connect to others, because he subconsciously thought relationships and friends he had when he lived weren’t really true and real. It’s ironic how it resembles the current!Mitsuba in Picture Perfect act.

Kou started to realize who Mitsuba was and how tragic his situation was, he started to empathize. Kou has a martyr complex, so he wanted to help Mitsuba any way he could. It was also shown that he does LIKE Mitsuba even with his twisted personality, Kou said it himself and it surely means a lot for Mitsuba who wasn’t liked before for his true personality. That was probably the moment Mitsuba felt a real bond towards Kou and become attached to him.

And Kou even blushed a few times.That would still be read as platonic and sweet tho!. I think it was, personally. The most important thing during their first meeting was, of course, how it ended, because, in my opinion, it was a moment when most (not all tho) Kou's mental problems started. There was still his family, of course. Teru loves Kou very much, but still his mentality and behavior was a root for Kou’s low self esteem and some other elements of his personality, tho I think it may be a topic for a whole different post.

In this small arc, in my opinion, the moment that was the beginning of me perceiving them as written as one of the couples, a romantic relationship was this exact moment:

“I don’t know… maybe something important to me?”

And also a moment when Kous saw this picture for the first time, when he developed photos, and how this cracked him.

Generally, becoming friends with Mitsuba was very important to Kou. Not only because he wanted to help him (and, internally, also making Kou feel better about himself) but also it was probably the first time when… Kou may feel somewhat special? He always was in the shadow of Teru, he wasn’t an “official” exorcist, he wasn't going to missions in the town, he wasn’t very strong (Hanako literally KO’ed him without a sweat and Kou couldn't do much to Hanako), the girl he got a small crush on (Nene) clearly had something with Hanako… Kou was always pushed back and now, with Mitsuba, he made an actually special relationship between the only two of them. He felt NEEDED, and we all know how much Kou desperately needs to feel NEEDED. In his own mind, he was the only one that could help Mitsuba and that understood Mitsuba, that's why Mitsubas ghost death was so hard for him. He finally got something special for himself and he couldn't even protect it and he let lonely, poor ghost tragically vanish. That's some trauma for you.

I’m not going to write much about Mitsubas feelings there because it was Sousuke Mitsubas feelings - and currently I’m going to focus more on a School Mystery Mitsuba. Tho Sousuke definitely perceived Kou and his help as something special to him. That's where their fated bond started.

“You can help me develop them tomorrow and then… I think I’ll be okay”.

Yet we can’t see his eyes when he speaks, and that suggests he thinks something different that what he speaks. Not showing eyes is a common motif to show that a character is lying or saying something he does not think or hiding something. Here is just like that - it’s not about photos, it's about KOU. It’s because of Kou he is going to be okay, not because of the photos he took today. Something changed for Mitsuba when Kou recognized him for someone he actually is and wanted to become friends with him. For Mitsuba it means a lot because when he was alive he couldn’t get true friends and real relationships with others.

Yeah walk walk trauma baby. I know I mention ‘trauma” a lot when it comes to Kou, but the whole manga is like a one big parade of traumas for this boy and it's not even funny. I’m not surprised he is starting to become more and more insane with every next arc. Especially in the Night Out small arc we can clearly see how detached from actual reality Kou starts to be and how he stops recognizing differencs between supernatural and real word, good and evil, selfless and selfish behavior etc. It’s all the result of the traumatic situations he was put in for like 16 volumes straight. And he is bearing it A LOT WORSE than Nene is.

Ouch.

“You wished for people remembering you but now youre happy with just a one person?” That hits hard but also I’m angry at Tsukasa, like leave that boy alone.Even one person can make a change in someones life, and thats what Mitsuba felt at a moment. For Kou he was someone, he was real, he had a personality, Kou recognized him and that gives him a true sense of identity. For him it was enough

You met like half of a day before and you are calling him your friend and fighting for him with an unknown dangerous supernatural who looks exactly like your other friend. Bruh that's some dedication. Kou is desperate to save Mitsuba, but Kou is generally desperate to be a savior. He tries to “save” Nene a lot of times even if it’s not really necessary, because Nene also has other friends and people who support her and is pretty clever and capable of bearing problems on her own (most of the time). Yet Kou still treats Nene like some damsel in distress that need his protection when it's CLEARLY not like that. Sadly, Kou mostly fails anyway. He fails now with Mitsuba and if it comes to Nene, if she needs saving, the person who (usually) saves her is Hanako. Kou rarely has something he can actually do and it's cracking him up mentally.

Yeah, “I’m supernatural who grants wishes” not “I’m a ghost of a boy who once lived in this town”. Yeah. It was right here from the beginning.

I just hope it’s not a form of foreshadowing.

His last words were “Minamoto-kun”, it's so sad. On this last panel he actually looked a little brighter than on the previous panel of his transformation, and that's because he looked at Kou.

I need to say, seeing a person you treat important to you and calling a friend dying in a horrible way and hearing their last words being your name must be pretty stressful. It would probably haunt me for a long time and I’m sure Kou is still affected by it.

On the 20 chapter cover Mitsuba is together with the rest of the main squad (Nene, Hanako, Kou). It was pretty weird back then - he literally died and looks like he was going to be a one-arc character that started Kous character development, but this cover was a hint that it's going to be different and Mitsuba, probably, is going to play a whole different role in the story. He, also, had a hand around Kous head and nearly touched his hair gently - its a symbol of intimacy.

That was a proof how strong, narratively, their relationship is and is going to be during the progression of a story. And, in my opinion, a foreshadowing to Mitsubas feelings. Because I think currently, our Mitsuba is aware of his feelings toward Kou, but I’m going to cover this topic a little bit later.

On this cover there is a lot more symbolism,especially with Hanako and his role in the story, but it's also a thing for a whole different post.

What Tsukasa said was that Mitsubas wish was ‘“ want to stay with my friends forever and ever”.

That’s literally what I said earlier.

It’s a recurring topic with current!Mitsuba and his relationship with Kou. Mitsuba feels lonely and… Kou also feels lonely. Even if he has a brother, father and friends (Nene and Hanako and other school friends) Kou is incredibly lonely because of his inferiority complex. He desperately needed to be needed, needed to be special to someone, needed to be important to someone, and that person was Mitsuba. Right now, he is the most important person to Mitsuba and that's both good and very bad for Kou. Good because he finally feels like someone important and someones one and only, but bad because of how traumatic his relationship with Mitsuba is to him and how unhealthy it is. And by it I don’t mean they’re toxic or bad people - they are kids who want to be loved and who want to have their place in the world. But Mitsuba is a monster, he is a supernatural, whos life is stained away by his instinct, who needs to eat other monsters and who does not really… have any actual bright future and Kou is traumatized boy with low self estem, problems with his selfworth, with martyr complex and some sort of suicidal tendencies. They have a lot to work out.

Kou is going to be a supernatural / is going to try to be a supernatural / is going to be forced to be supernatural - hint number one.

Yes, I will go back to this topic, because I’m literally scared of it so much. It's prominent during the whole story that Kou is foreshadowed to have a plotline related to becoming supernatural in some way. And when this topic is touched it's usually related to his plotline with Mitsuba. I’m kind of scared of HOW it’s going to happen or if it’s going to be only a try or Kou really will become supernatural in some way. But it's too much of a recurring topic of Kous WHOLE character arc to not being important and to not happen. It's even hard to call it foreshadowing, its literal hints everywhere.

Kou spent with Mitsuba literally… one day, outside of being in the same class for a while (Kou didn’t even remember this time THAT much, time they spend together this day was more important) and yet he CLINGED SO HARD to the idea that Mitsuba is his “friend”. He desperately needed to be wanted, needed, to have a special bond, to being able to help, to save someone. And yet he lost Mitsuba at this moment, he couldn't do shit to save him, he was absolutely… just useless during a fight. It affected him a lot.

During the scene when Hanako “kills” Mitsuba, there are sakura petals. They’re heavily associate with Mitsuba and are one of his symbols:

This scene, narratively was a scene that said to us he is GONE. For good. It was a “goodbye” for him and Kou, he is dead. That's all. At this point we couldn't know we are going to meet current!Mitsuba, so we could thing that is the end of Mitsuba and the beginning of a Kous arc. And… it was both of these things but in the whole DIFFERENT meaning. Of course it was goodbye to the Sousuke, he is dead, he can’t come back. Of course it was a beginning for Kous development. But… it was also a beginning for our current!Mitsuba, for slowly progressing Kous insanity as an effect of his trauma and the beginning for Mitsuba and Kous actual arc and relationship. We thought it was the end but it was actually the beginning that changed… the whole Kou, to be honest.

I think it's related not only to Mitsuba but to Hanako, too. Imagine what Hanako could feel at that moment. He is a ghost and a supernatural who know how doomed he is and he only protects school and Nene. But Kou said it's bullshit and clearly believes in what he says. Sadly, Hanako is so stubborn.

One of the symbols related to Kou is a lion. Lions may symbolize a lot of things, like strength, courage but also - protection. Just like Kou tries to protect everyone and tries to be strong and courageous for others. I actually think it suits him quite well. Lions also symbolize the sun and it was shown a few times that Kou is like a sun to Mitsuba.

At some point of a story he is definitely going to do some crazy shit I’m telling you. He really tries to believe that he can find a way to change how the world works and it can end up good but.. it can also end up INCREDIBLY BAD. It’s not that good to mess up with life and death and when you cross up a border there is no coming back. With every arc the manga is becoming a little bit more dark and serious with topic it shows and och boy I’m kind of scared for Kou and Mitsuba.

You can literally hear me crying. It was probably the first moment in the manga that actually had any impact on me, I was really like… I had to stand and walk for a bit before reading. Kou sees a photo of himself and remembers Sousuke saying “Who knows? Maybe something important to me?” and starting crying was like. I wanted to cry too. I can’t even imagine what Kou felt at this moment, it was probably absolutely heartbreaking.

This small arc finished with chapter 20.During the next arc, Kou, already affected by Mitsubas death, gets to know that Nene also has a shortened lifespan and it's going to die very shortly. That wasn’t too good for his mental state and he literally fixated on a goal in saving her. When Kou learned about Nene’s situation, Hanako even related it to Mitsubas situation, so we can clearly understand these two examples are related to Kou. He doesn’t want this situation to happen again.

“Just like with this boy, there is nothing you can do” - Hanako you little shit

But yeah. Again Kou understands how useless he is. How weak he is, how he can’t save anyone the way he is. How he could do nothing about Mitsubas situation and how he can’t do nothing about Nene’s situation. That's tragic. And it's clear Kou doesn’t know what to do about it. Thats why, when current!Mitsuba appeared, he started to find such a ridiculous (and unhealthy) solutions to Mitsubas (and Kous) problems. He don't know what to do but desperately needs to do… something. Anything. To help, to be important.

It's sad. He said he dont know what he is gonna do, but HE WILL DO SOMETHING. And yet… we know how it all goes for him. He is a brave kid, who is determined and wants others to be happy and alive.

He even tried to stop a kiss between Hanako and Nene after reading Nenes book and failed. He always fails.

It is titled “Love stories” that should be about Mitsuba. And it contains both Mitsuba and Kou. It's just a joke, but I need to point out that Mitsuba generally wasn’t shown to be interested in any girl during the progression of the story or never talked about it in general. He also does not crush on Nene, even when both Hanako and Kou felt something toward her at some point in the story.He also talks about how cute he is A LOT and I’m going to say something about it someday, but not now.

When you and Satoru were little, you rarely ever fought. The most you argued about would be him taking the last snack out of your snack stash. Usually you saved your most favorite snack for last. So that left his stealing only your most favorite. Satoru would argue that he's the one who bought them in the first place, therefore he got dibs on any of the snacks you had. You would sulk, pout, and ignore him for days on end. But all this conflict would resolve with Satoru buying you your favorite snack as a makeup gift.

Until recently, you’ve never truly fought with Satoru, much less anyone else.

Which is why you thought it was hard to tell whether or not you and Suguru were truly fighting right now. You lay back on your bed, pondering the meaning of life. You’d only just gotten home from your makeout session with him and the second you both left the tavern, he hadn't said a word to you.

Now to be fair, you hadn't said anything to him either, shocked that he made that kind of move on you. You wouldn't be surprised if he told you to just forget about it and act like it never even happened. And, honestly, if it meant that you wouldn't have to live in awkward silence, or have Suguru ignoring you, you’d do it in a heartbeat. He hadn't made eye contact with you the whole way home.

With the way he was acting, you felt like you’d made a mistake somewhere. But shouldn't he be the one apologizing?

You stare at the ceiling in your room, ignoring the shuffling coming through the wall next door. He had gone straight to his room too. You drifted off into sleep.

The next morning was similar to the previous. Except now you felt like shit. You couldn't be hung over, but you definitely didn't drink any water yesterday. The smell of tasty food wafted through the air and you couldn't help but be reminded of your interaction with Suguru. Groaning, you rolled out of bed. Where was Satoru to cut the tension when he was actually needed?

You made your way to the kitchen, finding yourself face to face with Suguru once again in that damn apron.

“G’morning,” You grumbled, plopping yourself down on the stool, plate already on your placemat. You began scarfing it down at such a fast pace. He turned and smiled at you. “Good morning, doll,”

The nickname had you choking on your food, as you looked up to him red in the face. He seemed to be making fun of you, and in all honesty, he kinda was. You chose to look down and continue eating the food, not rising to the occasion today.

He returned to his cooking, and once he was sure you weren't going to say anything he called out. “I was thinking we could try going to the beach today. It looks like it’ll be really nice out,”

So was he choosing to ignore last night? Did he even remember it? He hadn't hinted to it at all.

“Okay, sounds fun.”

Clad in your favorite bathing suit, you ran into the water. Suguru opted to lay under the umbrella, content with the book he was reading.

You'd been there a while. You were hunting for sea creatures, when you heard someone calling out to you.

“Hey!” You looked around, attempting to find the voice calling to you. You made eye contact with a boy close to your age, waving at you. “Oh,” Your face contorted into one of slight confusion, mouth in a cute ‘O’ shape. “Me?” You said pointing at yourself.

He closed some of the distance, coming within two feet of you. He was panting from his jog through the water to you, yet a smile remained etched onto his face. He was resting his hands on his knees, hunched over. He likea puppy! How cute~ you thought.

Smile ever present on your face, you asked him what he needed.

“I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. My friends left early, but I really didn't want to leave. O-Oh but my name is Sousuke.” He mumbled out, blush present on his face, but you felt eyes on the back of your head. You couldn't help but look over to Suguru, who seemed to be glaring at you. This had to be the first time you’ve seen him glare like that. What's he so angry about?

You look back at Sousuke and try to calmly smile, ignoring Suguru’s crushing gaze. You told him your name and said you were also here with someone, pointing over your shoulder at Suguru. You didn't bother turning around, but Sousuke looked behind you. He seemed to do a full body shudder as he politely smiled and tried to excuse himself. “A-ah I’m sorry, I didn't know you came with your boyfriend.”

“Oh I didn't. He’s just one of my friends. He’s really nice once you get to know him.” You tried to stop him from running off, but Sousuke excused himself. You turned to shoot a glare right back at Suguru and marched your way back to him.

“Now what crawled up your ass and died?” You angrily bit out. His glare had faded somewhat on your trec to him, but he still seemed a little peeved.

“Y’know your brother wouldn't appreciate you going around talking to random boys at the beach like that.”

“Last I checked he wasn't here.” Which wasn't what you wanted to say. You wanted to repeat what you said the night before. Satoru isn't the boss of you. But the words wouldn't come out.

He seemed to remember that conversation too, not that he would say anything about it. Right now, he just wanted to take you back to the house to avoid the unwanted eyes you seemed to attract. He couldn't lie and say he wasn't staring at you either. Your bathing suit left little to the imagination and he couldn't stop his thoughts from imaging you in a similar position he had you in last night.

He’d have to use his words carefully, both avoiding a fight similar to the one you had with Satoru, and avoiding your resentment towards him. He didn't want you in a bad mood for the rest of the week that he had you.

“Do you wanna go to the new Okashi-ya?” You stopped dead in your tracks. Face devoid of the anger you had a second ago. Your eyes lit up in pure excitement, forgetting your previous argument.

“Really?”

He wasn't lying. You walked around the sweets shop, eying everything with stars in your eyes. You roamed the isles, pointing at anything and everything that caught your interest. Suguru dutifully followed you down each aisle, holding your items, smiling warmly as you went. He looked down at you with such fondness, and if you hadn't been too busy touching everything you saw, you may have noticed.

By the time you left the shop, night had already set in. You strolled the street next to your towering friend, with a sweets bag in your hand. You were snacking on a sucker when he finally spoke to you.

“I don’t want to see you getting hurt by some random boy.” His words light and docile. They caught you by surprise as you stared at him. He seemed to be evading your gaze. “I would rather you find someone who knows our world, and someone who can protect you.”

His words made you look down, in… embarrassment? shyness? giddiness?

You couldn't place your feelings, but you gave a slight smile nonetheless. It was nice to have someone care for you other than your brother.

“Ok, I think I get it now. Thank you, Suguru.” He looked a little surprised by your words but returned your smile.

But he honestly wasn't that surprised. His words were calculated and driven by his previous interactions between you two. He had a good feeling he knew how you would respond. He didn't want you fucking around with some weak, normal person. But honestly he didn't want you with anyone else for that matter.

He honed in and felt himself fall for your words again and again. The way you said his name was just too sweet. And you were thanking him? For his rude words earlier? You're just too sweet for your own good. If he had been anyone else, he would've taken advantage of this kindness.

“You gonna finish that all by yourself?” He asked, pointing to your sucker. He smirked as he leaned in and pulled it right from your mouth. Your smile disappeared in an instant as he plopped it into his mouth. You jumped to try and steal it back, but the man was too damn tall, only spinning to get out of your reach. He let out a smooth laugh that left you also giggling at the playfulness that he hadn't shown for the last day or so. Suddenly all the tension that had been there had completely vanished, and all was back into place. Square one, you thought.

You went to the kitchen the second you got home, pulling out some ingredients from the fridge to try and cook your favorite stew. Dinner time. Setting everything out on the counter you realized Suguru was sitting at the stool just watching you, head propped against his hand and a lazy smile on his face.

“What’re you lookin’ at?” You made a half-hearted jab. Conversation flowed as you continued cooking.

And of course with the tall giants in your house, the cutting boards were on the top shelf. You found yourself reaching and jumping to gain some leverage, but couldn't reach them. These fuckin’ men always putting things out of re-

Suddenly you felt something very sturdy and hard pressed up against your back. You looked up to see Suguru's arms reach to the top shelf, easily crowding you. You felt your heart rate pick up as a bright blush touched your face. Suguru brought down your cutting board, setting it in front of you, simultaneously wrapping you in his arms- accidentally of course. He stayed for at least 15 seconds before he pulled away and went back to his stool. You remained fixed in place. What was that?

Food was good that night, but you found yourself growing sleepier and sleepier by the second.

“M’ goin’ to bed, Sugu.” You nearly slurred. “M’ stuffed.”

He watched you try to stay awake long enough to go back to your room. You had a long day. He thought you looked so cute fighting off sleep. You found yourself in bed pretty soon after, dozing off.

He made his way back to his room after cleaning up the mess you both made.

hot take but I'm still all-in on Mitsuba having the original No.3's yorishiro.

I feel like a lot of readers really underestimate how much of Mitsuba is the original No.3. He doesn't just eat No.3's heart: it becomes part of him, and he immediately starts echoing exactly the the same wish that No.3 was soon before.

This wish didn't come from Mitsuba Sousuke, it came from No.3, and it's continued to be Mitsuba's driving motivation for 76 chapters now.

In addition, I think it's been pretty strongly implied that whatever was left of Mitsuba Sousuke's mind passed on during the schism, so at this point our Mitsuba is 100% bird-impersonating-boy.

I don't think that we were shown No.3's yorishiro during the Hell of Mirrors arc (along with being told exactly how to reach it) just for it to never have any sort of importance. I feel pretty confident that this arc will see us returning to Hell of Mirrors and finally getting No.3 backstory.

Sousuke Mitsuba

Yashiro doesn't know about the human Mitsuba who died, but she does know of the person who’s left of him, the second Mitsuba. That Mitsuba and her are not close friends, but they had their moments. In the Hell of Mirror arc, they were pretty comedic. Yashiro tries to show herself off as the cute senpai Mistuba can look up to, whilst he constantly teases her about her ankles. And then into the Picture Perfect arc they were still pretty fine.

He and Yashiro do overlap often however, more specifically with their relationships wth Kou and Hanako respectively. Both Kou and Hanako have a habit of doing everything themselves, not listening to others and going on impulse. This affects Yashiro and Mitsuba, as they don’t want them to do this and even get hurt in the process, but they just won’t listen. These parallels run even deeper in the coming chapters as Kou becomes more and more like Hanako.

Shijima Mei

Shijima Mei, not the supernatural, only has her appearance in the Picture Perfect arc, and that’s all the screen time she gets, but her impact is still pretty significant, it can also extend to Yashiro. Together Yashiro and Mei are an earnest couple. With Yashiro’s silly and extreme self mixed in with Mei’s curious and determined self, they are fun to read.

Mei’s resolve also parallels Yashiro's. All Mei really wants to do is make the most of her life, to experience everything it has to offer. Mei is, by definition, a damsel in distress. A bedridden girl with only her pencil and sketchbook to keep her company. Yet she still wants to live. Her will can align with Yashiro as she also doesn’t have much to live for, but she carries on. Infact, right after Yashiro meets Mei she comes up with this resolution and gives herself purposes outside of romance. When Yashiro asks if she’s scared, she is, but she continues to pursue a bountiful life.

Mei is significant in the way that she gave Yashiro the idea of turning up her little life not to some evil sea witch or prince, but for herself.

Hyuuga Natsuhiko

At first, Hyuuga Natsuhiko was somebody who Yashiro thought of to be her type, but she was promptly proven wrong as he kidnaps her and gets stuck in a boundary with him. He is also very flirtatious and makes moves on her and on other women despite his infatuation with Sakura. In a way his a counterpart to Teru, they may have been Yashiro’s crush for a while and be popular, but Teru’s a lot more genuine than Natsuhiko. He cares for others and is pretty reliable, not much to say for Natsuhiko though.

Amane Tsukasa

Amane Tsukasa is the main antagonist of the manga. He is childish, immature, and doesn’t care for the people he hurts. So Yashiro does not like him one bit, in fact, she fears him. Tsukasa has been emphasized to be pure evil, or at least a being that comes from it. He is what it means to be a supernatural, and not care for humans nor supernatural. All he really cares about is granting wishes and his twin brother. They don’t have many interactions, but they are connected in the aspect of Hanako and the Kannagi. Hanako is self explanatory, yet for the Kannagi, Yashiro visits the red house where we see Tsukasa, the little boy who dies, and later the Kannagi.

Nanamine Sakura

Out of everyone, Nanamine Sakura is more keen on Yashiro Nene. She is the only one Nanamine says she wishes to be friends with. According to Natsuhiko, she doesn’t say her feelings out front most of the time, but she does with Yashiro. She is especially kind to her as well. When she had to drown in the Tea Party arc there’s a chance that she might’ve sent down Natsuhiko with her, not because she’s annoyed with him per say, but she knew he would at least protect her. Together with how in the later chapters, she gives Yashiro information and tries (and fails) to joke around with her. Nanamine also read books about how to get along with her juniors aka Yashiro.

Between Yashiro and Nanamine, there’s also a sort of understanding. They are both working for an Amane twin, and are regarded as priestesses. Their job is hard and tiring so talking to one and another helped make it a little better. Nanamine Sakura spreads harmful rumors to the Seven Wonders, whilst Yashiro Nene makes new and friendly ones. Nanamine has to use a broadcast to change one’s perception of the Seven Wonders aka using rumors. Yashiro also has the ability, except she doesn’t need a broadcast to get the word out.

Strangely enough the similaires even reach to their designs. Both of them have high stockings, a brooch, bangs, and their hair tied together in the sides of their hair.

TBKH CHARACTERS WITH A HYBRID!S/O

Hello! Thank you for reading, I'm making this because I simply want to. These hc's + one shots are written to be romantic, but can be interpreted platonically. Reader is gender neutral!

Warnings: pure fluff, might be suggestive in some parts. Reader has ears and a tail.

Hanako kun (amane yugi)

This boy, gosh, where do I start with him

He *adores* your ears and tail, and often gives you nicknames based off of which animal you stem from (ex. Kitty, foxy, puppy, ect ect..)

It also gives him an advantage teasing you because even with a poker face, he can tell your reaction by your ears twitching

"oh would you look at you, what a fluffy thing you are," hanako says, flying above you, "You are so adorable, you know that?" You tried to keep a straight face, but your tail and ears didn't think the same. "Awww, you look so cute like that, kitty!"

Yashiro Nene

Oh my gosh, this girl would be freaking out

With how fluffy you are, how could she not?

When she first saw you, she thought she was dreaming

Be prepared to catch her, she's gonna pass out most likely

Yashiro walked into the bathroom, prepared to clean again. Her gaze is met by hanako, and a fluffy animal-person. "WAIT WHA-!" Yashiro yelled before nearly falling to the ground, only to be caught by you. When she woke up she apologized profusely, only to forget about it within 5 seconds. "I'm so sorry for passing out on you, wait OHMIGOSHYOURSOFLUFFYPLEASECANUPETYOU-" (oh my gosh your so fluffy please can I pet you). You nodded. Ever since then, yashiro has been petting you as a greeting.

Kou Minamoto

This boy first saw you, bless his soul, he thought you were an appriatian

Poor boy was ready to exorcise you

You had to rush to explain to him, you weren't meant to be excorsied

Once he calmed down, his situation set in

"why is there a fluffy animal-person Infront of me"

He decided to just go with it

You two are sweet together, he protects you like an older brother, even if you're older than him

Kou walked down the hallway after school got out. The hallways was lit by the golden sun, and he could make out a figure in the distance. "Head, arms, legs, ears,tail," he thought to himself, "WAIT EARS AND A TAIL?!" he yelled. You looked at him. You had forgotten about your ears and tail for a second, lazily swaying as you looked out the window. "HEY YOU! PREPARE TI BE EXCORSIED BY THE ONE AND ONLY KOU MINAMOTO!" You looked at him in confusion and then said to him "Why would you exorcise me? I'm not an apparition," you stated calmly. Kou was thrown off by your calming aura and decided to take you to hanako.

Teru Minamoto

teru was worried at first when he saw you with kou

"why is my little brother with an apparition?"

He soon saw how relaxed kou was, and decided not to panic

He then took a good look at you and saw one thing

Teru went to find his brother, only to find him with what he thought was an apparition. "KOU WHAT ARE YOU DOING-" he yelled. You and kou looked up at the eldest Minamoto with confused expressions. "Hey bro! I made friends with this cool person with animal like features, say hi Y/N!", Kou states. "Hello! You must be kou's older brother," you stook out a pawed hand for him to shake, "it's nice to meet you!" Teru took your hand, or paw in this context, and shook it gently. "Hello there, Y/N! Nice to meet you!" Teru said with a smile. The rest was history between you two.

Mitsuba Sousuke

When mitsuba first saw you, he instantly thought one thing

"I wanna take a picture of them.."

He was entranced by the fluff of your ears and the way your tail swayed

He had a lot of thoughts racing through his head seeing you

"wow, they're really pretty"

He chose to silence most of them though

You were on the balcony, looking around at the dusk sky. The orange of the sun and the purple hue of the night coming in, and the astonishing amber in the middle, what was there not to love? Mitsuba has heard that there would be a particularly beautiful sunset today, so he went to go take some pictures. He didn't know, however, that there would be an even more beautiful sight than the sky out there. Mitsuba saw you and gripped his camera tighter. He felt a strange aura coming from you, one of tranquility, and peace. He had a rush of thoughts come into his head, but one made its way to the front. "I want to take a picture of you," he found himself saying, "your unique appearance would make for a beautiful picture." You turned around, to be greeted by a cute, pink haired boy. Tsukasa told Sakura to bring you to him once he had one look at you

The way your tail bobbed as you walked past, the way your ears swayed

He wanted nothing more than a cup of tea with you

When he saw you, his first reaction was

"pet the fluffy"

So he did

It made for a rather awkward interaction, but it was still enjoyable

Since that one day, he kept petting you, like hanako

"Sakura," tsukasa's voice called out, "can you bring someone here for tea?" She brought you in. When tsukasa looked at you, his first thoughts were "pet the fluffy." Since tsukasa is tsukasa, he did just that. Tsukasa walked up to you and had reached a hand out to your ears, and ruffled the fur. His expression had gone from playful to shock from how fluffy you were. Sakura guided you to a chair and poured you a cup of tea. "Hey fluffy, what's your name," tsukasa spoke," I wanna get to know you!" "Well then, my name is Y/N, and since I'm here, I have no choice but to get to know you as well!"
