“say it for me. just once.”
cross traced a finger along killer’s jaw, drawing him closer with a guiding pressure and he breathed against him, “why?”
killer met him with his own whisper, a kiss of his words on cross’s teeth, “because, if you’re the last one i’ll ever be held by, and kissed by, and if its just us and us by ourselves in this hellhole… i want to hear it. just once.”
the words killer asked for were lodged in his throat, always there lately. on the cusp of being let out, but held down firmly, and ignored. better left untouched, the warmth between them met with accepting silence.
killer’s kiss was simple enough for cross to follow, the minimal space between them warmed and humming with the equal echoes of their magic. sometimes, it felt like cross’s soul was hooked on it, always so eager to answer the call of killer’s magic.
and yet, eager as it was, his tongue was not.
he hesitated.
killer kissed him again, loosening his tongue into a more pliant state.
it wouldnt mean anything, nothing that wasnt already felt, if he said it, it wasnt an earthshattering sentence, but it felt like one. cross opened his mouth, the words there, and lodged again, and killer chuckled, his teeth nipping against cross’s jaw, but it wasnt mocking.
it was fond, unbearably fond, and cross swallowed, still tasting killer on his tongue as he whispered into the warm air between them.
“i love you.”
killer kissed him again, and cross let him, let killer chase the words to their source, and he relished in the feel of him, the taste, the scent, and perhaps it wasnt so hard to say it when it felt so starkly true.
he couldnt give killer the world, no, that was a time lost, an opportunity stolen, but he just knew, from the way their magic sparked together with every kiss, that admitting his love was, to killer, perhaps even more valuable than a world.
the world was theirs already, theirs alone. it felt like that, anyways, less like a gift and more like an inheritance.
killer gave a snort when cross’s finger tickled the inside of killer’s ribs, and cross pressed his face to killer’s shoulder, inhaling slowly.
the world was gone, but that didnt matter as much when he had his own little world, his own home, here in his arms. a world was his and his alone, and he was his, too.
but, it didnt hurt to add a little sugar on top when sweet midnight kisses couldnt be enough for tonight.
cross whispered it again, like it was a secret, and he understood, a little, why killer asked to hear it to begin with.
there was nothing like it, hearing it spoken, such weighted words now that nothing else mattered, and cross got it.
killer whispered it back, just as secretive, just as unsteady, and the warm thrill that spurred in cross’s soul, sending his magic surging with fond affection, well.
he gets it.
…he’ll probably just kiss killer next time he asks for it, because he’d rather occupy his mouth with killer’s voice rather than his own. thats what they did best most nights anyways.

An Elevator of All Places
Pairing: Cal Kestis x GN!Reader
Word count: 1.1k
Summary/Request: Based on this request
I think this is gender neutral? Please let me know if it’s mistagged
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is a mention of killing, violence, and yk general empire shinanigans. Please let me know if there's anything I missed!
You shivered, “Ugh I hate Imp bases” You groaned as you followed BD and cal through the dark hallways of the base, your lightsabre gripped in your palm as you kept alert for any stray stormtroopers wandering around.
The slight click of your boots made you jump every so often, on edge and exhausted as you spent the past few days going out nonstop with Cal. Leaving early in the morning and not returning till long past even your crewmates retired to bed.
Cal had noticed your recent fatigue and promised today would be the last day before you both took a few days off, catching up on some much needed rest and proper cuddles. You suddenly stumbled as your eyes drooped, tripping over your own foot.
Cal was quick to look over his shoulder as you tumbled to the ground. Pain shooting up your thighs as your knees hit the cold metal of the hallway floor. You groaned as you braced yourself with your hands, hearing the clattering of your lightsabre as it slid across the floor and feeling Cal’s gloved hand grip your shoulder.
He immediately jumped to check you for injuries as you rocked mack to sit on your heels, “I'm fine Cal, just took a tumble that's all” You assured as you spoke softly, watching his brows furrow in worry.
“Are you sure? You can barely keep your eyes open…” His tone was laced with worry as his other hand came up to your face, his thumb swiping under your eye, where you knew deep eyebags were sunken and dark in color.
“I'm just a bit tired, lets's finish clearing the base and just get out of here okay? Merrin promised to make dinner and I can’t wait to see what she cooks up” You gave a light chuckle at the end of your sentence, assuring your very worried Jedi boyfriend that you were okay.
You knew he didn’t quite believe you but he smiled and helped you off the floor anyway, BD crawling off his shoulder as he stood, opting to run a bit further down the hall. You brushed off your pants and summoned your lightsabre to you, continuing through the base.
-
After another hour or so you and Cal had finally made it back to the exit, only running into two groups of stormtroopers, and some droids. Now you were both making a beeline for the exit with a purge trooper hot on your heels. BD had quickly run out of stims between the two of you and Cal decided he’d rather not risk either of you coming out of it any more banged up than you already were, thus deciding to hightail it out of the base for the time being.
You didn’t know the extent of his injuries but you were sure they were worse than yours. He had taken the brunt of the blows for you, seeing as the fatigue of your recent journeys was hitting harder on you than it was on him.
You were racing ahead down the hallway with BD on you shoulder to get the service elevator while Cal staggered behind, trying to keep the Purge trooper occupied with a blaster you had picked up off of one of the troopers you killed.
Adreniline was pumping through your veins as you rushed to the operating pad, allowing BD to jump off your shoulder and start tinkering with it to call the elevator. Your head whipped around to see Cal rounding the corner at mock speed, his eyes wild as he sprinted towards you. As you turned your head back to BD to see the progress, the corner of your eye caught a glimpse of black and purple rounding the corner after him.
“How much longer BD?” You shouted as you heard the furious thudding of boots approaching. BD didn’t answer as the doors opened with a ding. BD quickly scampered inside and you stepped in placing your had on the door to hold them open, turning to see your companion closing in on the elevator.
Your heart dropped as you saw the purge trooper dangerously close behind Cal, you bit the inside of your cheek as gauged the distance Cal had and your chest tightened at your realization. He had a good fifteen feet before he would be in the clear, you could see the way his chest heaved and you knew with the way the purge trooper was gaining on Cal that he wouldn’t make it.
You moved to step out of the elevator to help Cal but winced and clutched your side, where a storm trooper had nicked you in the side with their blaster. You looked at Cal and outstretched your hand, using the force to pull the blaster from his grip and bring it to you.
Once the blaster reached your hands you wasted no time using it to shoot at the purge trooper beind Cal, and barely moved quick enough for him to get in the elevator, and usher BD to close the doors.
The last thing you saw as the elevator doors sealed was the Purge trooper slashing their staff across them, leaving a red mark streaking across the doors. You sighed and slumped down against the side of the elevator next to Cal. Leaning your head against his shoulder and clasping his hand in yours.
He gave your hand a gentle squeeze and kissed the crown of your head, chuckling as BD settled into your lap. “Thanks for the save, that was a close one,” He said lightheartedly as you hummed, you eyes falling shut.
The gentle hum and passing lights of the elevator came to a jolting stop and the scraping of metal wretched your ears. Cal shifted and BD jumped up, tinkering with the command board. He beeped and you groaned, “Great, now were stuck, and in an elevator of all places” you grumbled and curled into Cal’s side.
He simply chuckles “Yeah, yeah. Just rest a bit for now, me and BD will fix it and ill wake you up when were ready to head back to the Mantis” He said and you made a noise of agreement, your body ached and your head was pounding. A nap sounded just right.
- The next morning you awoke to find yourself in your and Cal’s shared courters, your wounds delicately bandaged and your clothes changed to something comfy. You smiled and curled back into Cal, who was laying next to you in a similar state, ‘Of course he carried you back’ You rolled your eyes internally but couldn’t help the smile that was plastered on your face.
-
This was a fun little drabble! I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the request, I did take my own creative liberty with it and I think it turned out super good!

I know the part of the old vlog.
But WHY do three men sit together completely naked im their studio?
What did they wanna do?
I mean realistically, not what would they do in a fanfiction.
I try not to talk about what I do for a living on this blog but it suffices to say there are BOOKS UPON BOOKS of gender and sexuality experts speculating about why straight men are constantly getting naked with the homies, fascinating stuff

shock for timjay?
Jason's got plans for his replacement...or at least the start of them.
He knows he's gonna show Tim Drake what a real Robin looks like, make him sorry for stealing a dead boy's cape, put him in his place, all of that—he just doesn't know how best to do it. There are too many options (break into the kid's house? lie in wait in the Batcave? surprise him in Titan's Tower?) and there'd be poetic justice in any of them, so Jason's having a hard time choosing.
You only get one chance at a first impression, after all. Jason intends to make his memorable.
In the meantime, knowledge is power, and he can always use more. Not like he’s got much on his plate beyond revenge anyway, right? No reason not to follow Tim Drake all over Gotham, learning his schedule and identifying his civilian friends, gathering intel he may never use.
(He also hasn't decided if he's gonna kill the brat. Should he give the old man another shot at learning the lesson that kids don't belong in costume? Or would that be too much? Sure, the replacement stole Jason's cape and his name and his fucking family, but...
Decisions, decisions.)
He means for his stalking to stay long-distance, but as the weeks pass, he gets curious. Sue him. He's only seen Drake through League-provided photos and binoculars. Before their first (final) confrontation, he wants an actual look at him.
Just a quick one, of course. Nothing that's gonna get him trapped in conversation with him—no way could Jason hold back on the urge to hurt him if he's forced to listen to the kid's no doubt grating voice, and that'd spoil the whole plan. No, he just wants to pass him on the street, get a quick glance in, that's all.
After all the stalking, finding him on the street is easy. Walking past him should be, too.
But Jason's casual glance over ends with their eyes meeting, and color blooms.
Jason freezes.
Color takes over everything, from the sidewalk to the sky to the replacement's wide, wide eyes. It's arresting. Beautiful. So much more than he ever expected as a kid memorizing color charts, matching shades of grey with names that meant nothing to a little boy who hadn't met his soulmate yet.
.....His soulmate. He met eyes with Tim Drake and saw color, and that means—
That means—
"Oh my god," his goddamn soulmate says quietly.
Tim Drake is his soulmate.
Fuck.

the darkness creeping into view, is that the dark matter in Prisma reacting to her own distress?
In a way, yes. It reacts to other dark matter beings nearby and gets intensified by her own fear/uncertainty. She has to learn to control her fear if she wants the reaction to not be as intense.

Unhinged Anon again, and thank you for the meme! I love that you went through the extra effort to add Macaque's jacked-up eye lol.
But also, your response has me straying ever closer to the brink of insanity, because now I can’t stop thinking about how MK and Macaque in S2E7 kind of parallel Azure and MK in S4E13-14.
It’s not a perfect parallel, of course, but…
A character who really, really wants to be a hero and help others ends up isolating themself from the people who care about them most and hurting/endangering those dearest to them, as well as the world in general, as they pursue more power (MK in S2E6-7, Azure in S4E12-14). A ‘hero’ who doesn’t realize their slowly becoming someone that, if they were to look at themselves from the outside, they would never call a hero.
Another character, who is technically their enemy but doesn't really want the ‘hero’ to go down a self-destructive path and sees their genuine desire to do good, throwing every ounce of flawed reasoning and self reassurance the ‘hero’ has ever tried to use right back in their face. Pointing out every hypocrisy, every step taken towards becoming something, everything, the ‘hero’ doesn’t want to be.
A ‘hero’ getting a reality check in the form of an ass beating from someone significantly stronger than them while said stronger being points out the mistakes the ‘hero’ doesn't realize they’re making. And this ass beating happens while the ‘hero’ is completely separated from their friends, alone with nobody but their enemy. *slowly rotates “It’s scary being alone” around in my head*
“In the darkness, the Warrior was forgotten by the Hero''. All of the isolating MK does in S2E6-7, unintentionally leaving his friends alone and vulnerable to the kidnapping vs S4E13 Azure nearly hitting Yellowtusk with the scroll while attacking MK and SWK. Bonus points for the snack area MK goes to having much better lighting and being above the theater where he leaves his friends, and Azure being well lit from his place high in the sky while Yellowtusk is on the ground and shaded by the forest. Bonus bonus points for an ‘enemy’ being the one to save the ‘hero’s friends, not the ‘hero’ himself. Macaque’s the one that broke the lamp and Tang had to shield Yellowtusk from Azure’s barrage.
And don't even get me started on how Wukong fits into all this.
Anyways, something something “The second the hero got real power, he couldn’t care less about his friends. That’s you bud” something something “Come on, Unkie Lion. You’re the big hero, right? Then prove it” something something the parallels between MK and Macaque are driving me insane, and I’m starting to realize that Shadow Play might be my favorite S2 episode. Anyways, hope you’re having a wonderful day! *waves from the precipice of madness*
DELICIOUS ANALYSIS THANK YOU UNHINGED ANON. Always a pleasure to see you here in my ask box!
So with Tang being the one to save Yellowtusk in 4x13 and Macaque being the one to save Mei, Pigsy, and Tang in 2x07, there's also the Lady Bone Demon being the one to save Macaque from death—rather than Wukong, whose whole motivation for power was to protect the people he cares about. The delicious irony.
We can even take this another step further and point to the Embrace Your Destiny special, where Wukong leaves MK and then gets possessed. Possessed Wukong then hurts MK and Macaque is the one who has to save him. Look at this parallel here for more fun!

trick or treat! 🎃
Happy Halloween anon!! Not sure if this is exactly to your liking but here’s a snippet that I’ve thought about but never written down:
“I can’t believe we’re stuck in fucking Kansas City.”
Kenny stared up at the ceiling of the plane. The team had just come off a win in Las Vegas, after a another shaky start from the offense with the defense carrying the Steelers for most of the game.
That was getting to be a trend.
And now they were stuck in Kansas City after a sudden change of flight plans. An emergency landing, code yellow. Whatever that meant.
“Somehow this is all Taylor Swift’s fault,” George continued.
“Bro,” Kenny replied. "We are not getting into that."
George rolled his eyes. Kenny wasn't exactly sure if that was how George always was, a little eager to get smart with someone, but the team would deal with it. Being in the same boat and whatnot.
"Not like there's anything better to talk about," the wide receiver mumbled.
"I don't get what your issue with me is."
"I don't have one," George stated irritably. "You just piss me off sometimes."
"That's- whatever." Kenny quickly exhaled. Better to not agitate things any further. "Maybe you should get over it."
George looked like he was about to say something, but then Coach Tomlin announced the team was going to be staying in Kansas City overnight, and the whole plane groaned at that announcement.
"Look, as long as things are fine on the field, we don't have to like each other," Kenny said finally.
"Well, it's not really fine, so you want me to date you or sumn?"
"...I'm sleeping on the floor." Kenny bunched up his jacket as a makeshift pillow. "Goodnight."

cross set his cup down, his tired eyes taking in the sloshing wave of his hot chocolate. it gleamed a pretty hazel brown in the light of the setting sun, steaming hotly, freshly poured. the sweet taste still burned his tongue in a sugary aftertaste that settled his rickety nerves.
the whisps fluttered up into the air, and cross felt a pulse of warm fondness, following the curling trails until the overlapped with the thicker pale smoke that killer himself blew out from where he sat outside on their short little balcony.
they moved in together just recently, and had finally settled into routine; cross with his daily cup of hot cocoa and killer with his daily smoke. cross's softened eyelights traced down the smoke, back to the source, only to find that killer was staring back at him.
the warm feeling in his chest sent his cheeks alight, tightening his throat and making his soul balloon in his chest, and he was helpless to the broad smile that broke out across his face. he felt dizzy with joy, with a happiness so strong that he felt like he'd choke on it.
the balcony doors slid open and the bitter twang of killer's cigarette filled the air, mingling with the sweet chocolatey smell, and cross couldn't think of anything else he'd rather smell.
"you're staring," killer chuckled, putting out his cigarette in his ashtray and hissing out the final little puff of smoke. it parted around him, spinning as he stepped through the fading cloud and sliding right into his rightful place beside cross, slotting himself against him so neatly that it floored cross once more with how perfectly they fit.
every passing day was another added moment of certainty that they belonged together. killer's head found its place on cross's chest, cross's arm settled where it belonged around killer's shoulders, and cross hummed as he pressed a kiss to killer's skull, "so were you."
"you just looked so damn pretty, i couldn't help myself."
cross's soul fluttered, and he felt a pressure bubble in his chest, a need to just kick his feet and squeal and shout his love from the rooftops, but all he managed was a shuddering breath, and he put his phone down, pulling killer's head up by the chin to slot their mouths together, relishing in the surprised, but pleased noise that rumbled between them from the depths of killer's chest.
this was it. killer was it, this was where it all was. cross didn't ever want to see an end to this, he'd give his everything if only to keep killer here, to keep time standing still--
cross opened his eyes.
the fire popped and cracked steadily behind him, warming his back, dimmer but still as hot as before. he'd have to add some fuel to it, killer was always prone to getting cold at night more than cross was.
cross carefully slid out of the sleeping back, taking gentle care not to move too harshly or suddenly, and he quietly knelt by the fire, nudging some branches and twigs into it and stoking the fire with the tip of his machete.
he stared into the fire, his eyelights dim in the dark, bags under his eyes, his sockets aching with a stiff dryness and stuffiness that came from lack of proper sleep.
a chilly breeze blew by, and he shivered as it went right through his worn shirt and pants. he didn't have his coat available though, not tonight.
he tended to the fire a little longer, and lifted his head, still heavy with sleep, to squint at the muddy red horizon, trying to gauge how many hours of night they had left. the dark was a little more diluted than before.
cross left the fire, and crouched by his backpack, his fingers numb from the biting cold as he found canned soup. it was the last one before they would have to eat dry packaged food, until they could find more.
he pushed the can into the hot soil close to the fire, burying it halfway and scraping some of the glowing bits of wood over it, watching as they pulsed red and orange over and over. he clapped his hands a bit, clearing the dirt from his hands, checking the distant horizon once more for a moment, letting his hands hover over the fire.
the chill finally sent him silently padding his way back to the bedrolls, hands warmed by the fire, the rest of him aching from the chill. it didn't matter, though. not tonight.
killer's head poked out just barely from the layers he was tucked in, his face pale even for a skeleton. his breath was shaky, thin and reedy, pained, his expression contorted in discontent.
he stirred as cross's warmed hands cupped his chilled cheeks, his eyes hazily cracking open to the a slit, and his eyelight, fuzzy and blurred with pain peered up at cross.
"...up..?"
cross shook his head, "no, no.. not yet--" he bit his tongue, hard enough to cut into the ecto, before adding a hesitant, "sweetheart."
the pet name was stilted from him, awkward and tinged with discomfort, but it earned a wry smile all the same, and that was all he wanted. it made it worth it. he could try, he could go that extra step, for killer's sake.
"c'm back t'bed," killer slurred, and cross scrambled to heed it, readjusting killer first, setting him closer to the fire and easing him onto his side with careful touches, wincing when killer whimpered at the movement.
"easy, i've gotcha," cross reassured, bowing over him to nuzzle a kiss to killer's skull, the act full of apologetic affection. killer settled again, whispering hoarsely, "m'cold.."
cross's mouth pressed into a thin, upset line of dismay at the watery tone, the sheer misery in killer's voice, and he grit his teeth before hastily shedding his thick, long sleeve shirt, "okay, just- one second, amor, one moment."
killer whined his protest, the sound wrenching at cross's soulstrings, but he forced himself to stay on task, standing by the fire to hold his shirt over it, close enough that he risked getting burned by any embers that went skittering up into the sky.
he gladly took that risk.
it took a minute, a minute longer than he would have liked, but he needed to warm up killer. he waited, letting his bones soak up the heat, retaining it far better than killer could, his magic greedily clinging onto the heat, the temperature letting his magic flow freely again and his natural heat, a fraction of it, returned to him. having high LV really was, sometimes, handy, and as much as he hated the occasional episode it brought him [and he fucking despised the pain it put killer in, he hated it so much, he fucking hated it--]
he was thankful to have it now, regardless, because it allowed killer some relief in times like these.
cross hurriedly returned to the bedrolls, trying his damned best to keep his touch gentle, to not jostle killer too much, as he pulled the fire-warmed shirt over killer's freezing bones, and killer's broken moan of relief soothed cross's rankled instincts, his soul calming just the slightest.
"okay?" he asked lowly, and killer's wavering eyelight flickered, focusing again on cross's face, and he even sounded a little better, just barely. it wasn't enough, no where near better enough for cross, but it was still something.
"m-mmn," killer mumbled affirmatively, and cross heaved his own relieved sound, and finally, slid himself back into the sleeping bag, still so careful, whispering apologies over and over at every hurt warble killer let out.
LV breaks were ruthless on killer.
cross's LV wasn't anywhere near as high as killer's. he hadn't started gaining any until after the world ended, only ever killing these days out of necessity; defending himself, catching food, fighting for supplies. survival. his LV was manageable. it gave him headaches, mild migraines at worst, left him itchy in a way that drove him up the walls sometimes, and gave him heat flashes, warming him to the point of shedding most of his outer layers if it was bad enough, but he was fine at the end of the day. it never lasted long.
killer's LV was... something.
it made cross wonder, sometimes; how the hell had killer's LV gotten so high? this kind of LV didn't come from just survival. killer never really told him why his LV was so high, and despite cross's curiosity, he didn't push for it.
it was another life, anyways, another person who'd collected that LV, and now it was killer who was left behind coping with it.
it drained the strength from his body, weakened his soul, pulled his magic thin, making it painful for him to move, to breathe, his magic stretched so thin at his joints that he'd described the feeling of moving like being torn in half. his bones itched fiercely, so much that it burned sometimes, the feeling leeching outwards from where his soul hovered over his chest. and the migraines.
killer groaning into cross's chest, his every other wail breaking with hitching sobs, his eyesockets, his nose, his mouth even, gushing with black liquid so thick that it strung between them every time killer pulled back, staining cross's shirt with thick clumps like honey or syrup. he was choking on it, spitting it up in chunky globs laced with red blood that made cross's own magic twist with nausea.
the migraines were the worst of it. killer compared the feeling to that of a concussion, of getting struck in the head so hard, you see white. it makes me want to scream, killer had said. on a scale of one to ten, one being a papercut and ten being a broken bone, it's a solid fucking twenty. i think the only thing that would hurt more is my soul getting ripped in half.
killer pressed his black-stained face into cross's bare sternum, and cross shuddered at how ice cold the sticky fluid was. it tickled the inside of his ribs as it slid in thick drops over his bare ribcage. cross ignored it easily, pulling killer's trembling body to his own, grimacing at the chill killer's body gave off.
that was another thing. it was either a burning feeling, leaving killer feeling so incredibly warm that cross had once caught killer lying fully nude in an ice-cold puddle, or it left killer so cold that he felt like he'd shrivel up into dust, trembling and whimpering in cross's arms as he desperately sought out every bit of warmth cross's body and the layers piled onto him could offer.
cross winced as killer's cold breath brushed over cross's collarbone, and cross finally caved into killer's earlier request from the night before, and let his ecto form fully, already warm with cross's warmer magic and his intent to soothe, his soul summoning as well, sitting readily contained within the opaque magic of his ecto and ribcage.
"okay?," he asked, checking first, and only when killer nodded, cross pulled him flush to himself, doing his best to wrap himself around killer, hugging him to his chest and letting his magic's intent to warm, heal, protect, soothe seep into killer.
another whimper bubbled from killer's open mouth, his eyes squeezed shut as his soul, as it always did when they were this close, phased through cross to sit within cross's ribcage, right up against cross's own soul, right where it belonged. a shiver wracked killer's body as his soul, buzzing with hurt and upset, pressed itself into cross's welcoming soul, soaking up the offered warmth and love.
cross held killer close, tense, uneasy, as killer folded his arms within the space between them, and he was so cold still, but, just a little less.
a little better.
"..i had a dream about you," cross whispered, low, because killer once told him that he hated the quiet.
killer huffed a quiet laugh, his soul's buzzing wavering, changing in pitches, and the faint murmur of affection passed between their souls. the corner of cross's mouth twitched upwards at killer's croaky voice, "t-tha's'cute.. whassabout?"
cross ran a hand up and down killer's back, his eyes shutting as he tried to recall the faint, fuzzy memory of warmth and contentment.
"well, it was.. short. but," cross rolled the words on his tongue for a second before recounting it, "the sun was setting.."
his voice filled the quiet, soft and as unobtrusive as he could make it, recounting every detail he could recall, until he recounted all he could remember, and continued on, making up more and more, their souls singing to each other within his chest.
he wasn't sure when it happened, only noticing it when killer's soul responded like it was speaking through water, and cross glanced down, and found killer sound asleep, his cheeks flushed a healthy red and expression soft and lax.
his breath was warm and steady on cross's bare chest.
cross's soul pulsed, warming, a feeling ballooning in his chest and tightening his throat, and he was helpless to the crooked smile that broke out across his face.
this was where it all was.

Hi 👋 sorry to bother you
But I’ve been looking for this fic for forever
It’s a sterek fic we’re stiles and Derek are either cursed or something like that we’re they slowly over the course of a month become mates
They don’t notice it but I remember a scene we’re issac comes in to the loft and they are sitting in each others laps and Derek had just bitten stiles neck
Basically the whole fic is them getting closer and closer and not noticing it happening at all
I wish I could give you more - this fic is my white whale so if you have any idea what it could be I’d be so great full.
Hi @distractedducky! Is it this one?

Lap Magnet by Prairie_Grass
(1/1 I 30,765 I Explicit I Sterek)
Wherein an ill-advised floral arrangement leads to a whole new definition of obliviousness, accidental mate-bonds, and far more sex and tropes than one fic really needs.
or
Five times Derek and Stiles didn’t notice how close they were (literally) and then a whole bunch of times when they did...

The timing is hilarious cause I was ACTIVELY considering a hobby lobby pickup trip to get some thing I need for a project that I can't find at any local stores that are more ethical
Well, timing truly is everything.
Honestly, though, while I would prefer people not shop at Hobby Lobby because they're the fucking worst, I've got no beef if that's the place you gotta go to get the thing.

I don't know why but I've always Headcannon all of the Afton kids to have this like really crazy maniacal laugh... Like full on crazy meglomaniac laugh that they all inherited from William.
You know, I've always kinda seen that with Mike and Elizabeth, but I'm just losing it over the image of little Evan scaring the shit out of someone with his serial killer laugh. You're absolutely right, these kids would have the scary slasher smiles as the default and to them that would just be how people normally smile.
