Slightly dark/insane batfam who is overjoyed to have Jason back from death is one of my favorite aus ever. Like imagine Bruce being oh so proud of his son who ended entire gangs and built an empire in a matter of months before he even turned 19. Ofc he's gonna brag to this fellow JL members. His kid is just so driven and smart! Jason has no idea if they were always like this or if his death made them this way but he's not complaining (much).

Like, a Batman who still doesn’t kill and adheres to his moral code but has absolutely no problem if his kids turn murderous. He’s a proud and supportive dad either way, the only rule he has is that they keep it strictly to criminals and leave alone the regular civilians.

The portraits of younger heroes and villains in totally-not-EAH-and-SFGAE-rip-off Merlin Academy, if anyone's curious. And like, before anyone goes at me for that nickname for Merlin Academy: the villains group portrait literally has 'V.K students' under it, implying they themselves are children of villains, which just opens up the idea that these kids basically became evil like their parents before them and the only ones to not be evil are the prior Descendants main characters, aka, similar to main characters in EAH and SFGAE. At this point, Disney is losing their right to complain if EAH does ever return because the only one copying right now in Disney.

Maybe it’s my fear of not being believed but I literally can’t do comedy where the other person isn’t being believed. Straight up, at first I would get stressed when the Human Centipede clip was going around. Like, do you know how terrifying it is to be in a wild ass date where you think you’re in danger and the waiter notices but has they have to open their mouth so now you have lie. Or the Elmo Rocko memes like, OF COURSE ELMO’S DISTRESSED! I WOULD BE TOO! LIKE EVERYONE IS TELLING YOU THIS ROCK IS REAL WHEN IT’S NOT(and like yah I’m sure there’s nuance to the situation but like COME ON).

Or Bibi from La Familia Peluche, I remember liking the show as kid and I still do but like, fuck man, the borderline emotional abuse than girl goes through IS WILD. LIKE EVERYONE FUCKING TELLING YOU THAT YOU’RE NOT NORMAL AND FEELING LIKE YOU’RE GOING CRAZY. I remember rewatching La Familia Peluche in Highschool and like fuck man, that period episode. Or to this day I remember the scene where they were serving food and she started to eat first and her family chastised her so she stops but then they make her feel back cause she already started so now she just continue to eat it and like I’ve literally been in a similar situation. And for those who haven’t watched the show, the whole shitck is that this is an absurd world where everyone works on a different level and Bibi’s the only who reacts normally to our eyes(the comedic straight man to alot of the jokes), which leads to the iconic line “Bibi porque no eres una niña normal”(Bibi why aren’t you a normal girl) that is said in every episode. Which from a dramatic irony perspective that we the audience know she’s the only normal person, makes it a funny joke, but if you think about it too hard, it’s so fucking sad, I just can’t help but not fully enjoy the show cause I just constantly feel bad for her.

Fuck even watching HALF LIFE VR BUT THE AI IS SELF AWARE FUCKS WITH ME! Like yes I very much enjoy the series! But, most of the time I’m just feeling bad for Gordon, like fuck man, I’d react the same way, wouldn’t you. Like ESPECIALLY BENRY! MAN DID HE STRESS ME OUT! I genuinely felt so bad for Gordon!

And then this slides into how I can’t enjoy alot of comedy(especially cringe humor) cause even though I understand the joke and think it funny on paper, I just end up feeling too bad for the character to actually enjoy. And it’s awful because I’ll STILL watch the shows because I’m invested in the characters not the humor if that makes sense??? (Oh, Community/The Office, the hate love relationship I have with you).

Anyway, yes I’m so fun to watch comedy with, I literally can’t be in the same room from some scenes. And yes, all my favorite characters follow the Only Sane Man trope, why’d you ask?

Few months ago I saw some people say that the trio’s relationship is toxic to yellow guy and now I feel like ranting about how not true it is and I’ve BEEN in Situations similar to yellow guy in the friendship episode with Actual toxic friends and it’s not how it is at all!!! The trio are like siblings one minute they seem to hate eachother’s guts and later they love eachother more then anything and that love is REAL and I had experience with siblings too and it’s like this!! You sat upon the red felt couch, breathing in the afternoon air of the scenery. You gazed out onto the living room, smiling at the warmth even as precipitation slicked your forehead to a slightly uncomfortable amount.

You twiddled your fingers, looking over at the smart boy you called your wonderful boyfriend. He turned his head, slightly, indicating he was glancing at you. you chuckled, before a wonderful idea popped into your head.

"Honey?" You asked with every amount of sweetness you could muster, only to hear a monotone hum in response. "What exactly did you have planned...for...today?" You slurred your words ever so slightly, well, a bit more than slightly, as you were sure you ere melting under this humid weather.

"I have reading to do." A curt response from Red, as you simply got up and walked over, standing in front of the behemoth of yarn. "Sure is hot, with all that...hair, hm?" You still had no idea what to call the things protruding from his head. "Yeah, only a tad."

Well, your time to propose your oh so wonderful idea came forth. "I can braid it for you." "Oh, you don't have-" You cut him off, your eyes intensifying as your lips curled up in a not so subtle way. "I want to braid it for you." You heard him sigh, before he moved to the floor in approval. success!

You took great pleasure in sitting in his chair. You took the "hair" into your fingers, admiring the texture, before getting into your pattern, your hand submitting to the symphony of your mind's memory of creating a wonderful braid. You smiled warmly at his scalp, as minutes ticked by, the both of you entranced in the moment.

Just you, him, and the sticky air. oh, and the other two who were bickering about something in the kitchen. You only caught every other seventh word, they were talking so fast. You had turned them into white noise, static, as an aura of calm washed over you and Red, bathing you both and swirling over your skin. maybe it was just the heat getting to you, but you could swear you could hear low, rumbling noise coming from the scalp beneath you.

After a few more moments of admiring your symphony of twisting and twirling, you got up and kneeled before him, looking up at his teeth. Wow, those are some gnashers. You took his face in your hands, pressing your lips above his mouth, humming. He gently wrapped his hand around your wrist, a hot warmth coming from the puppet. "Stop mucking around, dear." That nickname brought a warmth to your face, and not from the weather.

The two of you leaned closer, breathing softly as you were drawn closer. You watched him gently brush his hand over his braids, humming in sincere love. "It's hot, isn't it?" you nodded slowly, sluggishly leaning into an embrace. He set his chin on your head, before bringing his book back up. "I..Have reading to do.." Darn.
