if you have restless legs or p.o.t.s or both and feel like your legs are constantly inneed of stretching or moving or theyre in pain but you’re so so tired and you’ve already tried exercise daily but it doesnt help please please please invest in copper infused compression socks i just put them on and i feel like i can finally lay down without sticking my legs in the air to increase circulation. they’re like 19$ and i can already tell my free time is going to be a lot less painful.

y'know I think the name "restless leg syndrome" does a really bad job of conveying how the disorder actually feels and it's increasingly pissing me off that when I try to look for information about relieving it, almost nothing mentions how painful it can get.
everything makes it sound like it's vaguely uncomfortable but no it feels like my blood is carbonated and there's something crawling around and buzzing under my skin and it's agonisingly painful and the only thing that relieves it is shaking my legs as much as possibly except we're in the middle of a fatigue flare so I don't have the energy for that
edit: the name also makes people think it's just bouncing your legs a lot or whatever. I've seen people thinking it's just another name for stimming by bouncing your legs

chronic illness update because this is like, what my blog is for
gabapentin, chat . my doctor put me on gabapentin. hail mary (thats her name) she actually believes me when she says i have nerve pain and like half-diagnosed me with RLS.
one of the most common side effects happens to be dizziness. took my first pill a few hours ago and now boy oh boy huuehehejhsgdh. i feel just slightly dizzy constantly and every time i turn my head it goes Hey! Remember Me? I'm Gonna Get A Little Worse For A Second.
so here i am, face down on my couch. my puppy is giving me kisses. i am kissing him back, because he's a really good boy. i can feel all my bones, tl. i can feel every last one of my bones and my heartbeat and hleurgj and then im like Hey what if I made a blog post? That's therapeutic.
apparently it should go away after a few days! gonna power through and call my doctor if nothing improves.
my fucking DOG used to take gabapentin so. This is an experience.
i also just have medical anxiety so thats not helping. makes it feel leagues worse than it is.
TL;DR: hleuregjjdbsg. medi cation

do you have any tips for restless leg syndrome. it seems to get worse when i'm tired or it's close to medication time (i take oxxycodone for chronic pain)
I myself don't have RLS, so I can't give any advice. But if anyone with RLS would like to reply to this post, I'll gladly repost this as a thread. 💙🥄
