Things are getting real! My game, Pixel Art Academy, designed for learning how to draw pixel art, now has a Steam page!
In particular, the version I'll release on Steam is called Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode. It's a standalone, single-player artist simulator where you actually learn to draw! You'll go through interactive tutorials, complete challenges, and make art for different projects (mostly pixel art video games).
If this is the first time you've heard of Pixel Art Academy, it's a game I started working on 8 years ago with the idea of making a text/point-and-click adventure/RPG where you play as an art student. The kicker is that to improve your character's skills in-game, you gain them yourself in real life!

Even though I've been working hard on this project for many years, it's far from finished since it's very ambitious and I'm mostly working on it alone. There are some parts that are already polished and work well, in particular the learning core of the game. That's what I'll be releasing as Learn Mode. You'll skip all the character creation and go straight into pixel art, something many have been asking for (to just learn as fast as possible). Hopefully, it will become exactly that: the fastest, most fun way to learn drawing in the form of a video game.
If you like the idea, check out the new Steam Page. Wishlists are of course hugely appreciated!
okay bad news the steam thing wont work unless i install smthn on my computer which i really dont feel like doing right now . good news though i found out my dad has an snes mini???
One of the weirdest things I'll see as a game collector is people who are like, super pro emulation also want to tear me to shreds with their teeth for my sin of using a Retron 5 to play my NES, SNES, Famicom, Genesis and Gameboy games. Like im sorry theres an unnoticable degree of latency for me and that I have a better chance of beating Ninja Gaiden with save states.
I got this lunk when I was first getting into retro games many years back, when finding old consoles was difficult for me and i didnt have a lot of money. It was cheap and it let me play games i wanted to try. Now I have a Famicom, and a rare combo unit with the disk system built in, except it doesnt like working. And I now have an NES and it screams at me every time I plug it in.
like im not sorry that im playing these games on an hd tv through HDMI, its still just a reliable thing for me. i can save games that dont have built in saves, OR have a dead battery, its great

This Italian palace functions as a museum nowadays.
It fits a 40x30 lot.
As allways, you will need the usual CC I use: all of Felixandre, Tha Jim, SYB, Regal Sims, etc.
Some historical facts:
Palladio was asked to design and build the palazzo by Count Girolamo Chiericati. The architect started building the palace in 1550, and some further work was completed under the patronage of Chiericati's son, Valerio. However, the palazzo was not fully finished until about 1680, possibly by Carlo Borella.
Palladio also designed a country home, the Villa Chiericati, for the family.
The palazzo was built in an area called "piazza dell'Isola" (island square, currently Piazza Matteotti), which housed the wood and cattle market. At that time, it was an islet surrounded by the Retrone and Bacchiglione streams, and to protect the structure from the frequent floods, Palladio designed it on an elevated position: the entrance could be accessed by a triple Classic-style staircase.
Enjoy and tag me if you use it as i love the stories you create!!
Heavy rains caused major floods in Veneto, Italy, with 150 mm fallen in less than 48 hours. In Vicenza, the river Retrone's waters invaded the roads and caused scenes like this one.
