~~He gladly tapped out before she had the chance to keep him down for 5 seconds. She got up with a prideful grin.

Silva clapped in shock, confused on how she got riven down so fast, "seems that you never got rusty. Alright, you'll be attempting to get away from Sky now."

Sophia reached down to help Riven up, "no such thing as rusty, Sir."

Hesitantly, she walked over to Sky. "Start off in a headlock." They made awkward eye contact for a mere 2 seconds before getting into position.

His left arm carefully rounded her neck, his right arm keeping it in place.

"Go!"

They didn't start nearly as soon as Riven did. Her first idea was to elbow him in the gut but when she went to do it, Sky easily dogged it and swung them around a bit, trying to get her dizzy. She went to elbow him again but the same thing happened again.

Angrily, she stomped her boot heel on his foot and then immediately bit his arm. "Ow! Why are your teeth so sharp?" He complained, Sophia struggled not to laugh.

At the bite, his arm had loosened and his left foot, the one she stomped, moved backwards. At this perfect opportunity, she didn't waste anytime in digging her nails into his arm with her left hand and tugging the arm away by pushing away his locked fist with her right. With his arm now in her hands, she took a side step forward and used all her might to flip Sky over her shoulder, him landing on his back.

He didn't waste a second in pulling her down with him, forcing her onto her stomach and pinning her hands behind her back. He then got up and used his foot to keep them pinned. She left out a grunt of distaste of the position.

"Tap out, Sophia." The command and the use of her full name from him annoyed her. "Tap out? You're the one standing on my hands." Sky scoffed at her sass— even when she was struggling she still managed to have an attitude.

"Then say you give up."

Sophia let out a huff. She thought for a second, watching the faces of those viewing the fight. Determined to win— to show everyone that she's better than them, she came up with the most uncomfortable way to get him off.

"This is gonna hurt. For the both of us." She announced through her gritted teeth, instantly forcing herself into a scorpion-like position. She wailed out a noise of discomfort as she wrapped her right leg around his right leg, the one pinning her, for support and used her left leg to kick in between his legs.

He immediately folded, falling to his knees in agony.

She slid from underneath him and used her foot to kick him down and onto his back. She didn't even bother to wait for the 5 second count and walked over to Silva, high-fiving him in victory.

People have to understand the issue is not about denigrating x reader as a form of storytelling. It's about the fact people are deliberately entering the fandom with the sole intention of ascending the writerly ranks by commercialising specifically the area of x reader fic in the pursuit of achieving status and attention.

They will do this by harassing other writers in different ways like grooming you to become an advertising platform for them, demanding reblogs. Or attacking you on anon or off it on here and in Discord in the hope of driving you away so there's less competition around. Or flat out stealing fics from other users and regugitating them in different fandoms by changing the names. Or just regugitating their own fics the same way. They violently abuse the tagging system to gain more reach. They also completely disregard the fact x readers are not OCs and are two different things but still label them accordingly. It's all about getting traction and notes. And this just fuels the feed me culture a large proportion of the audience propagate where we are expected to provide 'content' round the clock for them. We are not people in their eyes. We are merely a commodity to exploit for free entertainment and no return. It's a constant demand to update update update.

The people entering specifically the HoTD fandom armed with these intentions are polluting the waters. They utilize the rivalry between Team Green and Black and weaponize it to underline their own agenda to achieve status and attack others, setting their followers on them like rabid dogs. I also would not be surprised if they use AI to churn out x readers fics so quickly as I've seen writers talk about using ChatGPT.

Writing x reader fic is no way superior to other fic. We have all read beautifully constructed x reader fic that spans a whole series and is riven with detail and depth. Or the quick smut imagines that are really hot and scratch that itch. The difference is that they're forged from the desire to share a story and not a snare to get notes and attention.

t was late afternoon, when the three guys, you share a room with, came back to it. Utterly exhausted and humiliated. They could not even look into your eyes, after everything.

Brandon the guy who most likely has only a head to look pretty, what he absolutely masters, began to strip, without saying so much of a word. It was rather ominous for you. Questioning yourself, why he was doing this, right in front of you. Not even realizing the bet you guys had made beforehand.

„What are you doing?“, you asked shrieking, as he was almost completely naked in front of you, his broad muscular shoulders, an upper body, chiseled to perfection, even with an eight pack and legs, like tree trunks. His big fingers were already in his underwear, to get them down any second.

Still, even when this was wrong, you could not stop yourself from looking. How could you? He was art in its best form. „The bet, you won,“ he reminded you confused.

As you realized what he had said, a bet red blush spread across your face. „No, no, no,“ you panicked. „Sorry for the confusion, but I’m already engaged! It was just to get all of you in the mood for the bet!“

All three guys looked shocked at you at the same time. „Who are you engaged with?“ Sky was so confused and even a bit angry, after this revelation. He was sure, to get it with you, which he wanted to do after you made him hot for you. To now know that you already promised to another person, ruined his entire mood.

„Jordans of Territola, one of the younger princes of Territola, my planet's closest ally. We are at war for about thirty years now, against the Krigskun alliance, and their leader the witch Makalu. Without a marriage alliance, they are no longer willing to help us out. And I am not strong enough yet to change the tides.“

„I met him once, he is a nice dude,“ Sky tried to offer some encouragement, for your political marriage. But you could only smile.

Sitting down on your bed, the other guys did something similar, feeling that you hadn’t finished talking, they all sat on Sky’s bed, which was the nearest to yours, and looked at you, waiting. „I actually met him once too. But not at a formal event, he almost knocked me over with his hoverboard, as I walked through Retalia, their capital city. Nobody knows who he is, because he is so far away from being king someday, that he just decided to live a normal life.“

Now it was time for Sky, to change his tune. After hearing what he wanted, he became confused about why you would marry him. Especially, when you already know that he wants a normal life. You could see all these questions on his face, but it was even easier, to just use his thoughts for it.

„I know this look, Sky. Neither of us has a real chance. If I don’t marry into this family, my planet will be conquered. He is the only one, even remotely interested in other men and my little sister is eight years old. She can’t be engaged to someone until she is fourteen and not married until she is eighteen. And this family does not have anyone younger than Jordans, our marriage would be celebrated next year, one month after his own eighteenth birthday.“

Even though you already sounded attracted to the man, especially Sky, hates the idea of political marriages. But he also can see your predicament. His grandparents had a similar fate, with the war almost taking over his home planet and they were happy.

But something told him, you wouldn’t be. And for some reason, it bugged him to no end. Still, he just wanted to drop the entire thing, feeling something he shouldn’t. Especially for someone who has already been promised to another person.

Riven for the first time spoke up after your explanation. „So why did you do the bet in the first place?“

Another blush broke out on your cheeks, as you tried to tell him the truth without looking like an idiot. But in the end realized that there was no way, that they won’t think that you are an idiot. So with a heavy sigh, you finally told them, „I hate doing homework and carrying all my things.“

Then and there it down on them. You wanted to have servants! It took a moment for all three, so it could sink in, but as it did, Sky and Riven began to laugh… hard. Only Brandon sat beside them, absolutely confused, which only let your thought, that nothing was in his head, grow exponentially.

„Okay, because we lost, we will do it,“ Sky concluded for all three of them. Neither seemed to have anything negative to say about it, so you thought, that you would be off the hook. But not as much as you thought you would be.

Sky grabbed you unceremoniously at your arm, pulling you with him. „What are you doing?“, you asked him panicking. But he just smiled devilishly at you.

He walked you both to a teacher, asking him if you could go to the school, for a while, he needed to show you something. The teacher agreed, mostly because of your show of strength and your obvious disregard for the two headmasters.

Riven and Brandon followed you shortly behind, as all of you sat in a hovercraft, another young guy, Timmy already sat in it, asking Sky what he and the rest were doing there. But still was happy to see them. He showed the guy with the glasses, the command to fly them to the school grounds and Timmy did without any further questions.

Nothing dawned on you. Why you were back at the school and standing right in front of a dorm room, nothing could’ve protected you from the person on the other side.

After Sky knocked, it took a moment, before someone opened the door. A guy, almost identical to Jordans, only a couple of years older. „Yes?“, the man asked, almost as confused as you were.

„Hey, I’m Sky from Euraklion and this is my friend, (Y/N), from Ulnika, the crown prince, to be exact.“ The gears in the handsome stranger's head moved and moved, until one point. His confused expression broke out into one full of happiness.

„My little brother's fiancé! I remember now. Father told me all about it. We all feared he would marry some artist or shit like this, instead of following family tradition!“

„What family tradition?“, you asked him directly after he said it.

„In every generation, the last born is always brought up to be married off and is always in love with his own gender. My aunt, Princess Delia, is married to Princess Tessa of Gulta, as an example. While most of the rest can marry however they want. I am engaged to a beautiful woman, outside of the royal system, but insanely rich.“

„Isn’t that a bit unfair?“ Your question did not surprise the guy in front of you. Apparently already know how the rest of the universe sees the tradition.

He just shrugged his shoulders. „Maybe, but as long as the tradition does not break, we do not change it. And as far as I know, my little brother is infuriated with you. Almost obsessed. `The great grey serpent´, he told me about your first meeting. He actually did not run into you by accident.“

This new piece of information made you feel too many emotions, to really put them into words. Obsession? Do you really want to be someone's obsession? As you heard this could get majorly wrong.

„Don’t worry, he is a softy. You are incited to his eighteenth birthday, right?“ As you nodded, his grin became wider. „He does not know about it. So you will be able to see his genuine reaction to you. Maybe then you will understand, why I used such harsh words.“

His brother seemed nice, only his thoughts are a complete mess. A lot of dark things in them, his smile was fake, not because he did not like you, but because of his thoughts. Before you left, you pulled him down, hugging him, „If you ever need someone to talk about these gruesome things inside your head, that even make you smile in despair, I’m here and I will never tell a soul about it, okay?“

As you let go of him, he was shocked and disgusted with himself and his obvious problems surfaced immediately after. You gave him a lingering look, just to make sure there would not happen anything, you could’ve prevented. But his head became clearer, not better but clearer. Maybe he could form some decent thoughts for once.

„We see us around!“, you called out to him, as you began to walk away.

„We sure will… We sure will!“, he promised you. Which made your heart lighter, knowing that he will have you to talk to. And him promising that he will, when he is ready to do so, with the last thought you could hear before he closed his door.

two oc's i made based on a request from my friends. nerdy guy x beautiful girl.

Walking down the street i look down at the small piece of paper i have in my hands with random assortment of things written on it, it was my shopping list i just got back from a recent expedition and needed to stock up on things like food for home but right now i have everything i need except from one thing potions. i just used almost all of them on my last expedition and the usual place i got them just shut down so i have to look through the whole city to find another place to buy them. But right now I have gone through nine different stores and now I was at my last stop. I was hoping this would be the place I can buy from now on. I walk up to the door of the store and open it, to be greeted with the smell of nice flowers. It had made me smile softly, it gave a feel of walking into a cosy cabin.

I look around at the shelves and see books and display cases of things, maybe ingredients looking around some more. I see a kinda clerk desk walking closer. I see a bell on the desk and I ring it “hello!? Anyone there? I'm looking for some potions! I heard you sell them "I heard some sounds coming from the back and soon someone hastley came outside of the back of the shop probably where he was making potions. The man dusted himself off and stood in front of me.

“Yes yes im here! Im Riven nice to meet you uh-what kinda potins would you like” he said with a bit of stuttering while he tried to fix his hair with a bright smile on his face. It seemed like i did catch him in the middle of something

“Yeah, I am looking for some potions. I have a list of what i'm wanting, and i want to see if you have these ones to sell '' i say as i hand him a different piece of paper with a list of potions. He quickly took the paper and he looked at it scrunching up his nose while he tried to read the smudged writing on the paper. How cute- wait why did i think that…nevermind. I said to myself as i shake my head a bit

“Umm yeah i think i have most of these right now! And the other ones i can make but i will charge you a bit more for touse, do you mind that! It's just that, it will take a bit of resources to use so i need a way to compensate and you-” he says as he continues to ramble

“It's fine, I'll pay extra. I have no problem with it '' I say as I interrupt him with a small smile at his behaviour. “Oh really ok! I'll get you the ones I have right now! Just wait right there!” he says as he quickly leaves with what it looked like a small embarrassed blush, maybe he realized that he was ranting on and on. I grabbed my small pouch and opened it, taking a few silver coins out for payment, and right on time Riven had come back with a wooden box he placed it on the desk and opened its lid.

“I have it! I got most of the potions on your list!, but I didn't have two of them. I hope that's okay!” he said as he showed me all the potions he had for my list, i smile and nod handing him the silver coins “here for the potions, name’s Elisa by the way”

“Oh thanks! Elisa, here take the box! I'll try and make the other portions you want! Make sure to come back again!” i nod and take the box and walk out the shop turning around briefly i saw him through the window he was covering his face with a almost visible blush underneath his hands

A week Later

I started my walk again to the potion store again.I wanted to see if the store owner Riven had made the other potions i needed, going close to the shop front i can see Riven inside working on a piece of paper though the window. Opening the door I am greeted with the same wonderful smell of flowers. Walking, I give him a small wave “Hello Riven! I was wondering if you had made the other potions i wanted” jerking up his eyes immediately drawn to me, standing up he fixed some askew hair.

“Um yes, yes I made them just yesterday! I’ll go get them right away” he said hastley before i could even put down my hand from when i waved at him. And he came back as quickly as he left. “Here I got them!” he said as he handed me a small box. I took the box and reached into my pooch for my coins.

“Actually! Umm… if i may be uh so bould, you don't have to pay me, but i was wondering if uh…" I tilt my head in confusion, my long hair falling off my shoulders. A Lot of thoughts went through my mind. Why did he not want me to pay, why did he have a small blush adorning his face and why did he look so cute. Before my mind would wander off more he started to talk again.

“I-I was wondering-g if you would like to attend the festival tomorrow, you know, with me, like a date?” he said as his small blush turned into a very flushed face. “A festafull? You would like to go to a festival with me?” I asked astounded, I'm not used to being asked out. I don't wear any fancy clothes, just light armour with black pants and white top. And I'm taller than most people at six foot four. Which seems to intimidate some people into not asking. But this five foot six guy who is not only shorter than me but also who is skinny. Has more gull to ask me out then some of the more masculine men

“Yeah, I'd like to ask you out!” he said while looking like he was trying to summon all his confidence, while he was blushing madly and shifting side by side nervously. “Sure, we can go to the festival together '' I said with a small chuckle as his adorable attitude. At my response he seemed to have beamed up like a coin in the sunlight shining bright. “Thank you!! I can't wait, the festival is in three days and I can't wait to see you there!” he said happily as he went back to the counter as another customer walked inside the shop.

Leaving the shop with my new potions and a small smile, i was happy when was the last time i been on a date, this could be fun i thought to myself as i walked to my home placing the box of potions on a side table as i walk to my bathroom to get ready for the night i undo the bun in my hair and grab my brush, as i meticulously start to brush through my blonde hair as i thought of what happened today.

Three days Later

I take a deep breath as I'm standing in front of my full-length mirror in the corner of my room holding up to dress myself in front of the mirror, seeing which one would look better on me. God why am I acting like this, I haven't done this before, it's just a date not a royal wedding so why am I spending an hour deciding on what to wear! I took another deep breath and looked at the outfits I planned. I had two right now, one you see someone wear in a ballroom. It was a red slit dress, I planned to wear a small necklace with it, nothing tooo over the top. And the other outfit I planned to wear was black baggy pants with a dark green knitted top. After weighing my options I decided to go with the green top. Not only will it fit this casual date more but it will keep me warm during a festival that's at night

After putting the outfit on I quickly put on my shoes and grab a scarf and wrap it around my neck before leaving. Now that I think about it we never really made time to meet. Hope i'm not too late for him i thought to myself as i walk down the streets they were busier today, as expected but i didn't mind the lots of chatting and laughs you can sometimes hear made it all more special it really made it feel like a festival was in full swing not the over decorated streets or the dancers and food-stands that lined the streets but the people enjoying it, what really made this day stand out front he rest.

I soon got to his shop, I saw a closed sign out front but I grabbed the door knob and turned it, and walked in the floorboards creaking under me and the small ticking of the clock I can hear just braley. “Riven!! I'm here!” I call out and wait now that I'm actually here. I'm rethinking everything. Maybe I should have chosen the dress. Would he like that more, no no!! Stop doubting yourself. I say as I shake my head “Elisa! Sorry I kept you waiting. I was doing some work. I had this back order of paperwork to do and well- oh! I'm rambling again, sorry!!”

He said and I couldn't help but smile at his behaviour. I do a once over of what he was wearing, the first thing I noticed was a cardigan. It was connected by what looked like big black and it was a badge colour button, and under that he had white shirt on, maybe a long sleeve because of how cold it will be outside. And then he had a pair of wrist length gloves on and a toque on top of his head with some blue pants. “So do you want to head out or do you still have some of that paper work to finish?” i asked with a faint smile

“Oh! Don't worry I did most of it, the rest can wait!! Let's go! I can't wait!” he says energetically as he grabs my hand and leads me out the door and he locks it behind himself before we start to walk down the street together our hands still entangled in one-another “so what do you want to go to first i'm sure you have some sort of plan?”

“Of course I do!, we're going to watch the dance in the main square then i think we should go eat something from a food stand. I heard that they are really good! And lastly, I think we can play some of the games on the streets! I mean if that's okay with you?” he said exited while asking sheepishly at the end of his long spiel while scratching his neck hoping i would agree to his answer

“That sounds amazing, Riven, I would love to do that” i say excited about what we can do on this date and I could see him smile. It seemed to brighten up the entire street we were walking on. We walked and talked about our lives as we made it to the centre plaza to watch the dancers as they held sticks on fire on both ends as they danced elegantly with one another on the stage. Me and Riven both looked in awe at them. They were majestic with the way they moved like water flowing down a river. But it couldn’t last forever and we soon went stand to stand eating food and playing the games together.

I smiled as I looked upon the clock that was on one of the many churches in the area. Only now i realized that I spent the entire day with this man who I met a week ago. And he had completely enamoured my heart “hey Elisa, i think there's a cool game over there!” I smile and nod as follow his lead to the place where he saw the game stand only to find ourselves on the top of a hill “Riven? Are you sure you saw a game over here?”

He let out a small nervous laugh “well, i didn't but” he grabbed my hands and looked me in the eyes even though he had to try and stand taller which only wanted to make me laugh “you-u. You're the only one who ever actually took me up on a date so thanks” he continued with a blush as he avoided my eyes,then he looked back at them. I could see the moon in his blue eyes as well as the stars that lit the sky. He seemed to take a deep breath and then looked at me determinedly “Riven wha-” before I could finish his lips and met mine as he got closer to me, his delicate lips lighting me up almost like a match to a fire. I reached my arm around him and held his waist and he soon separated from the kiss “Elisa, i really like you” he said sheepishly

I laugh and smile “I can gather that” I said as I leaned in to kiss him again under the star lit night sky, which made us feel like we were the only ones in this world, in this moment, In this memory that will surely live in my head forever. The memory of the day i truly fell in love…

Merchandise where? The redbubble clone or could Rainbow finally be making another try for the American merch market? We can only hope!

I bet the limited edition comic book is a teaser for whatever this comic turns out to be. The interesting thing is that Papercutz and Mad Cave are both publishers, separate publishers. So we’ve got two companies doing Winx comics, one that seems more kids’ books oriented and one that seems more teen oriented. Don’t know yet if they’ll be doing reprints of the comics, new comics, Fate, or all of the above, but we’ve got two publishers doing it and that is good news!

Hopefully someone comes through with a report for the fans next month!

And then there’s a mysterious leaked image.

On the right is the image we’ve seen before, Bloom versus Ogron with dragons.

In the middle… I see the Trix, I see probably Bloom, Stella and maybe Flora or Aisha. But who’s that in the middle? Gives off Dark Sirenix vibes but it looks like a dude. More Wizards of the Black Circle? Riven evil again? Jim hopping over into the main canon? At this point, who can say!

And then there’s the picture on the left. It’s definitely the girls… hang on, who’s that second from the left? Stealing the spotlight from Stella, who seems to have become an albino and faded into the background completely.

This is the Winx fandom, where faking leaks is just A Thing. So I don’t really think Rainbow went for a seventh Winx and decided to import Terra instead of sticking with Roxy. It’s gotta be Terra, right? Curves and brown hair? And Straffi at least pretends to like Fate and have hopes for more of it so it’s vaguely possible he’d want to import Fate’s OC? Nah, I don’t buy it. The show struggles to give six characters enough attention, I don’t believe they’d bring in another one.

But maybe I’m wrong! We’ll have to wait and see!
