Went to the beach today and came home with some rocks! (Surprise) favorites include a mysterious green rock, and a nice little cladopora!

But the star of the show is also the first fossil I was ever able to identify on my own, and although I've found probably millions of them in the past, this one is special. It's a section of crinoid stem, but it's the absolute tiniest one I've ever seen! Look at this, it fits in between the lines of my measuring tape!

Here she is in my hand, next to all her other little buddies!
