wada sez: Crosshairs’ bio by Bob Budiansky notes that he “won’t take a shot unless he’s sure he can’t miss”, with his motto being “don’t shoot until you see the wires in their eyes”, so this is a strip about Crosshairs waiting for the perfect shot. In light of Prowl’s typical characterisation, it’s odd to see him siding against Crosshairs’ utilitarian outlook here, though Pirrie tried to justify it on deviantART by saying: “Logic doesn't apply to gut feelings. Crosshairs was going with his gut, but Prowl's logic dictates that the same shot could have been made before the squad was wiped out.” Anyway, as we’d hope from Ed Pirrie, this strip is chock full of obscure European characters and Generation 2 nobodies; he noted that “I put Lightspeed in there because he was staring at me from the shelf at the time.” Naturally, he sees the character as Lightspeed, as he was known in Europe, rather than Braver, as he was originally called in Japan. See below for a couple of panels that were cut for space, a preview panel, and the full inks.

Only two days to go before Halloween night comes by. I’m getting closer before anything I would be getting for this year’s frightful season. Hopefully it can wait, but also wanted to go back on other tasks to continue so far. Can’t blame myself that I tried harder to deliver almost all Inktober artworks this month.

What that being said, here’s the latest one we last saw for our exploring chipmunk and her furry companion. After camping out for a bit during “Day 25”, they’re suddenly being chased by a huge pumpkin that about to getting them squashed! And who’s been riding this huge pumpkin at the top?

It’s none other than the Red Panda Kids from “Day 12” appearances! Looks like they’ve got themselves in trouble when picking up this pumpkin. It’s this the same pumpkin they previously ride on? If so, it must’ve transformed to a normal looking pumpkin; possibly due to some kinda magic spell completely out of hand. Either way, things are gonna be pretty bad for other each sided kids and Awoofy. Though what if I told you that’s not the case? Can it be stopped at the time for this year’s Halloween? Hope so as I’m saving for my final Inktober artwork share. Don’t miss it. 👍

Got charged by a Scolipede once and it felt like getting hit by a truck... so I am curious if battle moves match that.

I HOPE you were able to RECOVER from that COMPLETELY!

#543: Venipede (Bug Bite) - 1 / 4 A burning sting of pain, like a drop of hot oil on your skin.

#544: Whirlipede (Rollout) - 2 / 4 You trip and fall several feet into a pile of legos at a considerable speed. There's the pain of sharpness, but not often sharp enough to tear the skin. The true pain comes from the force of the impact. Broken bones are a possibility at its highest speeds.

#545: Scolipede (Double-Edge) - 3 / 4 A car slams into you and you're pierced by poison tipped glass. Broken bones are likely. Poisoning is likely if cut by its claws. The toxins make your blood feels like its bubbling.
