wada sez: This strip ties into the present-day plot of “Chaos”, after Megatron deliberately allows himself to be captured by the Autobots. See below for a Dutch translation.
the changes to the dnd game license are SUCH a perfect example of corporate greed. imagine having such a huge and dedicated fanbase buying your product that podcasts spring up for it, and instead of recognising how lucky you are for that free publicity you try to claim 25% of their profits - which will almost certainly prevent many creators from using 5e as their game of choice. and then, on top of that, you implement an anti-homebrew policy.
read more here. I haven't seen anybody in fandom talking about this yet and if you enjoy anything derived from dnd - any TTRPG, any live play podcast, any creators - this will affect you. sign the open letter. tweet at them (#opendnd). send them an email. don't let them break the spirit of creativity that underpins TTRPGS.
Some fanon Xie Lian outfits: when he was the prince performing on the Great Martial Avenue, when he was a heavenly official who had just ascended, as the ghost bride of Mount Yujun, when he was the God-Pleasing Prince who held a sword in one hand and a flower in the other, when he had almost fallen, when he became a flower god while banished*, when he gets married to Hua Cheng, and when he returned, white-clothed, after going through hardships.
*This was a character setting in early drafts, where Xie Lian controlled the blooming and withering of flowers.
Say it louder to the people in the back. Bro can do high-level physics equations in his head; obviously he's hella smart. And he's survived in the mafia for this long. He isn't just some brawn of soukoku; it's double black. A duo that have both brains and brawns, but work even better together.
Also from Harukawa:
He isn't just a hothead guys. People can have bad days, it just so happens his bad days happen when Dazai's around (/j of course, they're just idiots 🤣)
In putting together the resource post, I found a couple illustrations from the first novel that I haven't seen anywhere before, at least on the English speaking side of the internet.
The light novels are illustrated by Sannomiya Kota, who's the artist for Episode Nagi.
Here's a couple from Nagi's part, including a cute Choki cameo.
...and here's two from Bachira's! I'm shocked not more people have shared these or talked about them. There's his monster! and Yuu!!
i think i wouldn’t hate disco elysium’s collage mode nearly as much if it weren’t for 1) the way that it was marketed in such a tasteless, soulless manner, let alone the fact that it was a last ditch distraction from a dead on its feet studio piloted by dumbass thieving execs and released on the day of the court declaration, and 2) those dumbass fucking stickers
like if it had been included with the base game from the start and had been titled something a bit more tasteful and in-line with how i would have liked the feature to be marketed as— something like “exploration mode”, something that perhaps could only be unlocked after completing the game for the first time, AND didn’t have those stupid as hell visually and tonally incongruent with the artstyle stickers, i would have applauded it as a nice little bonus for being able to study and appreciate the 3d models and environments for reference.
I kind of wish the boxart for S2 was as detailed as S1's for some more uniformity as opposed to a stark contrast with a shift to minimalism, but I do really love how angelic they look here.
Little lost souls adrift in the vast ocean of fate who don't deserve the burdens they bear on their shoulders, but bear them they do, and together they'll be the ones to change the world.

wada sez: The strip after this one, easily the most notable Mosaic strip published, was explicitly released to celebrate the third anniversary of the Mosaic project—so I reckon it was intentional that this one was timed to coincide. Recognise the name Eric Holmes? That’s the writer of Megatron Origin! There’s no connection beyond that, however, with this being a straightforward standalone little character vignette inspired by Red Alert’s original Budiansky profile.
ONE THOUSAND YEARS JAIL FOR TCW WRITERS for getting that absolutely GOLDEN layup in AotC and then NOT doing jack fuck with Dooku. They looked right at Christopher Lee's deliberately nuanced portrayal in that movie (within the script's and direction's limitations which were indeed very limiting. Have I ever mentioned that George wasn't too good at writing Dooku either?) and did NOTHING. They made him a Saturday evening cartoon guy in the Saturday evening cartoon and I am inconsolable
I cannot get over how they squandered his potential!! And Asajj's by extension, too. And why do I have to cling to CW 03 for any screentime of them both even just existing in the same room? Like genuinely do we ever see them physically next to each other? They're supposed to be master and apprentice bro something went terribly wrong here!!
Also to bend this back to the fandom and to beat a dead bloated decomposing horse: Obi-Wan. Novels have been written about his fanon alter-ego so I'll just say that most people actually write him just fine until any type of relationship emerges! Ppl want to swaddle this spiritual master and veteran shock formation leader in a blanket so bad they gotta nerf him to hell so someone can take loving care of the shadow of his former self lmao
