Mikoto grins, holding up the outfit you got for her. It’s a black crop top with a small heart at the top that was bound to show some cleavage with how big her chest was, paired with denim shorts white legs, and hand warmers.

She takes it into the changing room and you go looking for more outfits, or some jewelry. You needed more earrings anyway. 

A few minutes later, Mikoto walks out and your expectations are immediately met. She looks nothing short of beautiful. 

“I like this one a lot! Think we can get a matching pair for you?” You shrug, but begin looking in the same area where you got the clothes for her.

It took a bit of time and a bit of accessory confusion, but your matching outfits were assembled. Your shorts were a bit longer because the store, unfortunately, didn’t have short shorts like the ones Mikoto had in the men's section.

Other than that, everything else matched to a T. From the shirt—which showed the slightest bit of your pectorals— to the shoes, to the rings and necklaces. 

Mikoto holds up her phone, a bright smile on her face. “Cheese!!” The two of you say, both of your hands together to make a heart. 

She sends it to you and Saiki because she wants him to be ‘jealous’ or whatever. 

“What do you say we go get bubble tea and dango?” 

You gasp. “I’m totally on board with that.”

The two of you laugh softly, take the clothes off, and go pay. Expensive? Hell yes, but working more shifts than you normally did paid off—literally.

Of course, you want to spend time with her! She’s the most perfect, quintessential pretty girl after all!

She won’t tell you that she’s surprised a guy just wants to hang out with her just to hang out. 

No funny business, not because you have a crush on her, but because you thought it would be fun to spend the holidays together.

(Un)Fortunately, she is God’s favorite so you two really can’t go outside unless you want to get stared at the entire time.

If you don’t mind, then she doesn’t mind either. She’s used to it anyway.

It’s odd at first, she thought you wanted to use her to boost your popularity, or impress your friends, but later into the sleepover(?) she realized you just wanted to spend time together, as friends.

As odd as it is—Saiki is the only man who seems to be weak to her charms, and it looks like you are too— it’s a… welcome feeling, to say the least.

You and Teruhashi are in your room, watching an old Christmas movie you found in your closet a few weeks ago. Both of you had hot cocoa in your laps, paired with a plate of gingerbread cookies and graham crackers.

“Teruhashi…” You start, keeping your eyes on the screen. “Do you want to make cinnamon rolls?”

Her eyes widen, having to push down the excitement so you don’t think she’s childish. “Yeah, of course!”

The two of you smile and rush downstairs, you make a quick pit stop to tell your mother what you two were planning to do and all she tells you is to not burn the house down.

You grab all the ingredients needed and Teruhashi grabs all the bowls, whisks, and whatever baking equipment you two may need.

“Alright! Now, let’s get started!” You say in confidence and Teruhashi nods.

A beat of silence stretches out between you two as you aimlessly stare at the glare in the mixing bowls. “...I can’t bake.” 

“...I can’t either.”

You two stare at each other with blank expressions before starting to laugh. It’s a nice, playful sound that you two share together. Teruhashi thinks it’s alright that she’s able to have fun without someone trying to impress her 24/7, but she’s not going to tell you that!

“You know what they say, right Teru?” 

She cocks her head confusedly. “Fake it ‘till you make it?”

You finger-gun at her. “Exactly! And if we do burn the house down, this was my brother’s idea, not mine!”

She rolls her eyes but takes out the flour, sugar, eggs, and milk. The two of you silently decide that you’re going to do all the mixing, and Teruhashi will do all the measuring/putting it in the bowl.

As the two of you work in tandem, you’re also singing Christmas songs along with her. From old to new, slight romantic undertones or not, it’s fun.

And that only gets better when you have to leave the dough to rise. Straight Karaoke the entire time. You’re sure your throat is going to hurt later from all the mild yelling you’re doing, but who cares? 

If you’re having fun with someone you care about, you’ll worry about pain later.

Surprisingly, you two didn’t burn the house down.

The cinnamon rolls do come out a tad, just slightly dry, but they taste amazing.

You and Teruhashi high-five. “We should do this again next year, but invite everyone else. What do you think?” You ask, taking a sip of your now slightly lukewarm hot cocoa.

Teruhashi is a bit conflicted. It would be nice if you invited the girls and Saiki over because she knows she can kind of be herself around them, but everyone else? 

You notice her nervousness because you immediately say: “Or it can just be the both of us. No worries.” You shrug, taking a bite of the cinnamon roll that is 100% too hot to be in your mouth at the moment.

Teruhashi smiles at that. “Just the two of us is fine.”

You bump hips with her, carrying the plate of cinnamon rolls upstairs and to your room. 

Teruhashi follows shortly after. The type of friendship you two have is something she would never give up. 

Not even to make Saiki say ‘Oh wow!’ to her face.

You were really getting fed up at school. You couldn't tell how many times you were getting mistaken as a girl but it was the start of the school year and you had been called "ma'am" or "she" too many times to count. It was pissing you off.

"I don't get it." You say at lunch, gruffly picking at your food.

"They're still at it?" Saiki quietly says from next to you.

"Yep." You huff, not feeling very hungry, pushing your food away, "It's getting really annoying Saiki, like, I even have my pronouns on my bags too. It's not like the other students can't see it, and I even correct people! No one cares."

Saiki frowns from next to you, and you can see that he's thinking about how to respond. Thankfully, Saiki had sort of been like a rock throughout all of this, because at the beginning of the school year you had decided to start dressing more feminine, and it wasn't going so well, but Saiki was always there for you.

"Is there anything I can do?" He finally asks, looking at you now.

"I don't know." You sigh, "I really don't, I don't feel like there's anything to do."

The rest of lunch was quiet, besides you making small remarks here and there, and then it was time for class, which thankfully you had with your friends so it wasn't bad.

School went by quickly, and you had a few more incidents where other students would bump into you, or something would happen and they would respond with "sorry miss", which only pissed you off more.

At the school gate, Saiki was waiting for you. You had forgotten today was Friday, and on Friday you two normally went out to get coffee jelly. It was a small thing you two did, but he really enjoyed it, so you never minded.

"You ready? We hurry and we can get your favorite booth." You ask, and he nods, and you can tell he wants to ask how the rest of school went, but instead, he started briskly walking towards the cafe.

You had to jog to catch up to him, and when you did, you looked at him, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Saiki slows down, "I don't think I'm doing enough to help you at school."

"Of course you are. There's not much you can do to change how everyone else sees me." You snort.

"Still."

You grew quiet again, your mind still racing as you two drew nearer to the cafe.

When you two finally got there after the quiet walk, Saiki opened the door for you, and you two slipped inside, finding yourselves in the back, in the booth you found yourself in every Friday for the past couple of months.

"I'm going to go use the restroom really quick Sai, can you order for me? Just the same thing please." You say quickly, flashing a smile as you rush to the bathroom. You did have to pee but you didn't want to have to interact with anyone else outside of Saiki today.

After doing your business, you head back to the table, freezing when you see the waitress talking to Saiki.

"And what did your girlfriend want?" She asks.

You wince, and you can feel your heart hammer in your chest. Not only did you get called a girl again, but now you put Saiki in an awkward situation as well. Goddamnit.

"He's my boyfriend, and he'd like the same thing please. And a water."

The tips of your ears turn bright red as she quickly apologizes and walks away, leaving you to walk back to the table, avoiding his gaze as you sit back down.

"Um, thanks." You say quietly, "You didn't have to do that. I know it was probably embarassing to have to correct her."

"I did. You're not my girlfriend." You look up to see him looking at you, and he has one of those looks where you can see his soft admiration for you, it wasn't a full smile but you could see the corner of his cheeks turned up, "You're my boyfriend, and I'm obligated to correct anyone who says anything otherwise."

"Thanks Sai." You smile at him, some of the stress lifted from your chest, "Now who's paying this time."

He rolls his eyes, and you have to let out a laugh.

Now you maybe questioning how did you two even got together, honestly, most people ask the same question, however, the answer is really simple. You both are delusional, just kinda in a different way.

So, we all know that Shun lives in his own world, but let's all be honest, all of us do, at least sometimes.

So, you two are classmates, you, being the quiet kid who just stares out of the window, daydreaming, making scenarios, real or not. And then there's Shun who is, well, more vocal about his delusions, but can we blame him? No. (<3)

You would tell the group pretty soon after he'd warm up to the couple stuff.

Honestly, Yumehara was probably the most happy, it stung, but she moved on soon, and no, she did not go back to obsessing over Saiki again.

I think he'd be a words of affirmation or acts of service guy, can't really decide.

- Maybe it's just a random occurrence one day. Whether you accidentally bump into him, or meeting each other in the same place for your playful hiding from your friends and seeing his desperate pleas, or touching on the same snack you both are aiming for... All the cliches somehow have you involved these recent days, he wouldn't be bothered a bit if it's with others.

- But it's him we're talking about here. Kusuo fears for his peaceful future after the fourth meeting happen with four being a bad luck and all. Especially if it happens when he goes to the grocery store, or you're from different school and still catches his sight.

- You don't seem to realize about this or merely passing them off as coincidences.

- In any case, whenever you're near in his vicinity, he goes out of his way in avoiding you like he does any others, better safe than sorry.

- At the same time, Kusuo couldn't let his guard down at all because when he thinks he's safe, he bumps into your back backwardly.

- On top of that since it's already becoming some sort of regular thing that you two keep meeting each other, you start to politely asking him straight to the point if his house is near yours by referring to a popular place while he's aware on your wariness of him.

- Give him a break. He's supposed to be the one worrying for his future. ... though it couldn't be helped really. Kusuo explains that even after distancing himself away from you conciously, he stumbles in your way again like what's happening right now. He was just out to get a coffee jelly and other miscellanious, showing you the plastic bag he brought.

- You apologize for getting ahead of yourself and states about the regular meeting getting weird in a concerning level when you're also familiar of his face, even his usual clothes by now.

- But then you speak up that you acknowledge him as an acquintance at this point and will try not to bother him unless it's necessary, he can also have a small talk with you whenever. You won't make it more uncomfortable than it is already so you both can go about your day, adapting to the situation.

- Kusuo couldn't get any more relieved about it now that he's sure you're not interested in him after watching you leave him alone. It comes down to a question on how's this possible. He was getting ready to accept the fact you'll be nosy like the others.

- Sure, he's grateful and all for once. He still can't help but feel suspicious, thinking it's like a looming bad omen.

- The next day, he starts to watch out for signs of your whereabouts and when he does find you, he would always go to a different path.

- Kusuo feels distressed if you can't be seen or felt anywhere near him because it would be troublesome guessing where you would go. You're like an unstable compass to him now.

- It will be in his and your best interest if he decides to keep an eye on you, won't it? He can help you or even protect you from afar whenever you have difficulties so it'll ease his anxiety and he can go back to spend his day in peace. It's becoming a part of his routine that he unconciously involve himself with your daily life.

- What he's doing so far is just his disaster prevention measures (it's more amplified if you're a clumsy person who often runs into problem). It's better to prevent them from happening at all than after they happen and will affect him.

- Kusuo is comfortable maintaining his part as an acquintance for you. Even if his actions sometimes indicate he's far from that.

So basically, It's a Saiki x Psychic Reader where Saiki is stressed out and needs something to make him feel better so the Reader decided to massage his back. “no means no, y/n,” saiki said in your mind for the umpteenth time, trying to focus on what the teacher was saying even though he didn’t need too. he smart af

“oh come on! we both know you need it, especially after you used boulders to massage your shoulders.” you tried to reason with him only to be met with silence. You turn to Saiki with a confused look only to see him with a slightly flustered face.

“you just had to use clairvoyance, didn’t you?” “I always have to check up on my favourite psychic, don’t I?” you said teasingly.

i mean sure, your a psychic but you could be stupid like toritsuka and can’t control your strength like him.

saiki lays on his stomach on his bed, (you guys are at his house) slightly regretting saying yes to another psychic that he just met a few months ago.

you come in the room with a massaging oil, feeling proud that you finally got the psychic to give in to your request more like command

saiki doesn’t speak (hes secretly wondering why did he agree to this 😭). it’s not until you rub the oil between your hands, and then you start to massage him is when he lets out a soft groan.

you pause. you start to overthink, did you hurt him? does he like it? it’s only when saiki starts calling out your name that you zone in.

“why’d you stop?” saiki asked impatiently, clearly wanting you to continue. you opened your mouth to tease him but he shushed you quickly knowing that you would.

saiki’s surprised that he knows you this well even though he met you a while ago. well, he’s more of an observant person so that explains that. he wonders if you know him well too. (I know you well my pookie wookie boo 🥺)

“your lower back too?” you asked him, really just wanting to make him feel relaxed.. and safe.. and- focus y/n! “sure.”

you continued to massage saiki for a couple of minutes, thinking about if he would let other people do this to him aswell.

saiki was quiet, and you didn’t hear any thoughts so you leaned over to look at him. you were met with an adorable sight! saiki sleeping 😍. his light snores and breathing filled your ears.

unfortunately, people can’t live the easy way saiki. SMACK! you smack saiki awake and your met with an extremely pissed looking psychic.

Headcanon+Scenario: Aren Kuboyasu, Kusuke Saiki, Kusuo Saiki with a s/o who is self deprivating

Aren does not understand why (Y/N) would talk about himself like that, not in the slightest

And he has no idea how to deal with it either, so he just repeats his comment in a louder and harsher way -If he scares (Y/N) accidentaly, he'd panic, apologizing for his tone and repeating it again, softer

But aggressive love-talk, as I like to call it, is a standard thing when it comes to beeing his lover -He keeps slipping up in his old way of talking when he's excited or serious about something that involves you. And that includes him being loud and using certain terms that would be censored on the internet

"Why are you staring at me?", (Y/N) asked, catching Aren red handed. "Huh-?", Aren snapped back into reality, he got lost in thought as he admired his boyfriend's side profile for maybe the 6th time that day. He just couldn't help it.

The (Y/HC)-haired looked at Aren, expecting an answer to his question, as the other just stared back with wide eyes and a blush adoring his cheeks. "Ehehehe...", Aren chuckled as he rubbed his head sheepishly, looking to the side, "Well..."

(Y/N) rose a brow, "Well what?", he kinda felt nervous from this situation, not so positive thoughts already flooting his mind. Even though they did not match the purple-haired's embarrassed face at all.

"You're so...handsome...I- I couldn't help it.", Aren finally confessed, "Kinda got lost there, ehehe.", he bashfully smiled, looking back at his boyfriend. His smile quickly left his face though, as he saw the skeptical look on the other's face. The grimace made Aren's heart stop for a second.

"Hmmm, meh.", the teen averted his attention back to his phone as he scrolled through cursed Tumblr posts.

Aren frowned, "You're handsome!", his sudden outburst made (Y/N) flinch, turning his head to look at the purple-haired once again, "Huh?" Aren grabbed one of the other male's hands, looking him in the eyes with a serious expression, "You are handsome."

(Y/N) could feel Aren's hands starting to sweat, indicating that he was nervous. He was certain the former delinquent was not the type to lie about things like that just to make him feel better, no matter how much he cannot believe his words to be true.

"You're handsom-" "Yeah, yeah, I heard you-" "You're really really handsome!"

Kusuke comes prepared -This man has a whole powerpoint presentation, listing every thing about (Y/N) and why those things make him not only the most good looking, but also the best boyfriend to him

He goes over it like it's a school project he was eager to present the class -He really is eager to go over it, no matter how many times -He also updates it whenever there is something new to add

Kusuke doesn't show it, unless he feels really really soft, but it hurts him whenever his boyfriend talks himself down -It hurts both his heart and his brain -Heart because he loves him and just wants him to be comfident about himself -Brain because the mere fact (Y/N) doesn't think of himself as a king is just too inlogical for his brain to comprehend

Tapping his eraser on the table in frustration, (Y/N) tried to make sense of all the numbers and letters on the sheet infront of him. Even with Kusuke sitting beside him to help, he just couldn't get it in his head. And exams were in a few days! How was he supposed to pass?

"Your frustrated thinking face is cute.", the blonde stated matter of factly out of nowhere, a dreamy smile on his face as he took in the sight a little longer, "I should add it to the other things I love about you."

(Y/N) stared at him with a frown, "I'm sorry what? You have peculiar taste.", he looked back at his sheet, "Besides, how are you still even sane when your boyfriend his too stupid to solve a single one of these problems?"

"Even if your IQ level was way under average, that wouldn't cease my adoration for you. If anything, it would give me more reason to spend time with you.", Kusuke said, almost Prince Charming like. He gave his statement even more of a romantic vibe by giving his boyfriend a kiss on his cheek.

(Y/N) grimaced, not at the kiss, but at the other's words. He just couldn't believe it.

Kusuke's smile never left his face, actually widening when the two of them locked eyes again, "I know that expression." (Y/N) sighed, "Well, I can't help it."

The blonde jumped to his feet and clapped his hands twice. The lights dimmed and a projector started booting up, revealing a title screen that said "Reasons why (Y/N) (Y/LN) is perfection! Presented by Kusuke Saiki". This all took the (Y/HC)-haired off guard which is why he couldn't muster up a single word.

"Now then,", Kusuke began with an innocent looking smile,"I shall now present to you "Reasons why (Y/N) (Y/LN) is perfection!"!"

Kusuo can't relate, though he understands why his boyfriend has certain doubts and a negative perspective on himself -Not because he agrees, cause he definitely doesn't, but instead because he knows the world is filled with darkness and horrible people

That being said, he is another one who does not know how to comfort someone or how to make someone realize how much they're actually worth -The best he can do is reassure (Y/N) of his feelings for him, no matter how embarressing it might get for himself

His mind reading ability comes in very handy in this, since it makes it easier for him to determine how to approach a situation without making anything worse

(Y/N) stared at himself in the mirror, a frown planted on his facial features. Hairbrush in hand, he desperately tried to make his hair look good, at least acceptional. But minute after minute passed by without the male having a single positive thought about it.

Frustration was building up inside of him which led to more negative thoughts, by now, directed towards his face as well, slowly capturing his whole body. Everything he was insecure about.

Kusuo was quickly fed up with hearing all of that from his boyfriend, so he walked towards the open bathroom door and peaked his head inside, "Do you want me to help?", he offered after a few seconds of contemplating.

The (Y/EC)-eyed sighed, "Not even you can fix what is my face. Actually, my entire being." He turned around to look at the pink-haired, waving around with the hand he held the hairbrush in, "How could you even love garbage like me?"

Face indifferent, Kusuo looked at his boyfriend, //This again...I can't stand it when he says stuff like this.//, he watched (Y/N) turn around again with a sigh, waiting, //Come on, (Y/N)...Give me a hint. How can I make you feel better right now?//

//Please just hug me...Gah that's so selfish of me to even think that.//

There it was. A rather clear hint this time which Kusuo was really grateful for.

Reluctantly, since he himself was not used to physical affection, Kusuo walked up behind his boyfriend and wrapped his arm around his waist. Silent. Just standing there. All he could do is what (Y/N) wished for to comfort him. Until he figured out how to do it without depending on his powers at least.
