Tdlosk Various - "Teruhashi's Rival!"

In which PK Academy receives yet another new transfer student mid school year, but this one seems to have the favor of gods on his side, much to the dismay of a certain piss aura'd blueberry girl. Or; in which another one of "God's favorite children" enrolls into PK Academy and gives the ever popular Teruhashi Kokomi a run for her money when his reputation seems to overtake her own.

"Who's that guy?"

"Oh my!!"

"Do you think he'll be in our class?"

"How handsome!!!!"

The exclamations of various students rang throughout the halls, drawing other students from their classes to satiate their curiosity. Girls and boys alike crowded the hallways to see what was so exciting, pushing against and squeezing between one another. But soon enough the crowd parted into two, splitting like the red sea and out of the way for an approaching figure.

A boy; a fellow student judging by his uniform; about sixteen to seventeen years of age. He was tall, maybe around 6'⁴ or 6'⁵, with an average build. His silky h/c hair bounced and swayed in time with his steps as he walked down the hall while his sharp e/c eyes scanned the faces of the staring students. The most notable thing about him however was his handsome face, and in the eyes of a certain psychic, a grand luminescent aura that radiated from him. This boy was, in all observations, an ikemen.

Among the crowd stood a narcissistic certain blue haired girl. Her perfect brows furrowed as she hadn't heard a single person acknowledge her presence since the handsome stranger showed up. No one had even spared her a glance nor even a simple hello, not to mention hadn't heard single 'oh wow!'. Teruhashi was in shock, how could this one boy pull everyone's attention away from her in just a matter of seconds!?

How could she be the perfect pretty girl if noone even noticed that she was among them. So to fix this atrocity, she decided to speak up. She shimmied her way out of the crowd and snuck over to the end of the hallway and around the corner. The bluenette then turned back around and rounded the corner again, making it look like she had just come upon the scene. Quietly clearing her throat, she rose her voice slightly so that she could be heard over the exited murmurs of her peers.

"Hello everyone, what's going on?"

Teruhashi's angelic voice cut through the commotion, causing all eyes to turn to her.

"Oh!"

"It's Teruhashi–san!

"Oh wow!"

"She's so pretty!"

"O‐Oh, hey Teruhashi-sama. Check out the new guy."

Meekly greeted the flustered Toritsuka, who had somehow torn his eyes from the handsome stranger. He seemed embarrassed of himself to even look at the blue haired girl, let alone to have spoken to her as he just did. For a boy like him, a girl like her was for from his reach and even farther from owing him even a simple glance. In the case of Toritsuka Reita, a boy like him simply couldn't help but long for attention from a girl like her... but that thought can be explored another time.

"New guy? So he's a new student? Nice to meet you I'm Teruhashi Kokomi."

The blueberry headed girl turned towards the h/c-ette and introduced herself, still behaving as if she had no clue of the situation. Their two auras of shimmering gold and sparkling silver clash as she does so. The handsome boy raises a brow at her in disbelief of her words, he chuckles in amusement as he takes her hand his.

"[Surname] [Name] nice to meet you Teruhashi‐san. If I may ask; why did you leave earlier and come back just now?"

The now named [Name] asks Teruhashi with an amused expression. His question caught the attention of the other students and they begin whispering.

"Eh? Teruhashi‐sama was already here?"

"She left and came back?"

"...she was probably trying to calm everyone down..."

"No way. She could've just done that here."

"She was probably just trying to get [Surname]-san to acknowledge her..."

"...I mean Teruhashi-san is an attention seaker..."

"Right?"

The bluenette hid her frustration at [Name]'s question behind a timid smile. Putting her hands together in front of her she began twiddling her thumbs and shifting in place; Putting on her best shy girl act. She began to make an excuse for herself and save her chipped reputation.

"A‐Ah! It's not like that, I was only trying to—!"

"I'm Hairo Kineshi! Nice to meet you [Surname]-san!"

"What's up man, I'm Nendou and this right here is my pal!"

'Saiki Kusuo'

"I am 'The Jet-Black Wings', protector of all mortals present and I shall defend you from the evil organization 'The Dark Reunion'! You may call me by my human Alias Kaidou Shun!"

"O-oh! Hey! I'm Toritsuka Reita! Wanna know your guardian spirit [Surname]-san?"

The five boys, counting one Saiki Kusuo since he was dragged in against his will, interrupt Teruhashi and practically ran her over to get to the h/c-ette. They crowd him, each introducing themselves and trying for his attention and the chance to befriend him, barring Saiki of course.

"Hey [Name], me and my pal were gonna go get ramen after school! Wanna come?"

Nendou asks the handsome boy, improperly calling him by his first name as he slings a heavy arm over his shoulder. Kaidou, trying to gain leverage, scolds the mohawked teen about his lack of manners, getting only a brain dead look from him.

"It's nice to meet you all! Say, is it possible for you to lead me to the lunch room? If you don’t mind, I'd like to sit with you as well. Oh and I'd love to go get ramen with you!"

The e/c eyed teen beams at the boys before him making all but one of the students in the hall have the same thought go through their head:

'Oh my!'

How about some general HCS for Saiki(we all saw that coming), Aiura and Teruhashi(all separately) for Reader spending quality time with them during the weekend or holidays, just some good fluff for this wacky and over-the-top anime(/pos ofc). Could be platonic or romantic, I don't mind either!

He’s honestly so confused because… why do you wanna spend time with him??

It isn’t like you’re all hanging out in your group (of friends he didn’t want) it’s just the two of you.

He’s read your mind, maybe you had some sort of ulterior motive? Like maybe you wanted to hang out because of his… smarts or something? He’s made sure to be average in all forms of school, average enough for him not to fail and at the same time not be too noticeable.

But no. You want to hang out with him because he’s fun to hang out with.

It isn’t that he hates your company, you aren’t as dumb as the people he regularly hangs out with (Bless him and his ability to keep up with Nendou Riki of all people) and you know when to keep a comfortable silence if the situation calls for it.

Well… since you insist on spending the holidays, he has to let you, right?

“Ooh! What about these, Saiki?” You ask excitedly, holding up two pairs of matching heart-shaped glasses.

There was a Christmas sale going on, and you decided it would be fun to go glasses shopping for no real reason, you just thought it would be fun.

Saiki, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to care what you get. He’s just here because you forced asked him to come.

A soft smile adorns your face anyway. It doesn’t matter that Saiki is barely adding any input, you know him well enough— at least you hope so— to pick up the small details in his body language.

“Can I take off your glasses for a second?” You know how protective Saiki is of his glasses and you assume it’s because his eyes are sensitive to light.

Saiki takes the glasses from your hands, turns around, making sure to close his eyes the second he takes his glasses off, and puts on the Hello Kitty pair you gave him.

“Aww! You look adorable!” You coo, a pair of Kuromi glasses on your face. You assumed they were a matching pair, they were close enough on the shelves for it anyway.

Saiki didn’t point out the fact that they were beach glasses, not because he wanted to keep the smile on your face— no, no, no, he’s psychic, he doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings!

…Though he can’t lie that the smile on your face makes him content in a way.

You pull him in, holding up your phone in a selfie position. Your hands making bunny ears behind Saiki’s head. “Merry Christmas!” You say happily as Saiki holds up a peace sign, his signature RBF never leaving.

You don’t mind though. RBF or not, Saiki’s face is very pleasing to look at. Saving the picture and saving it as your wallpaper, you look back at Saiki who still had the Hello Kitty glasses on, surprisingly.

“There’s a cafe nearby, and they’re having a Christmas sale. We can go there, or head back to your place?”

“Cafe.”

You nod, paying for the items and making your way to fill Saiki’s love for pastries.

Saiki’s lips curl upwards, a small— tiny– minuscule amount.

Whatever this is, it’s nice. Just the two of you and the soft snowflakes of the winter.

It’s a calming feeling. One he really enjoys.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, and did I already say… yes?

She loves loves loves loves (!) spending time with people she cares about, so of course you aren’t any different!

Her fortune-telling gig is always a bit busy during Christmas, but you don’t mind waiting!

When she finally gets off work, you two decide to go shopping, because… Christmas sales, hello???

Literally, the best and worst are crafted during that time together.

You two spend so much money, it really—seriously— isn’t funny.

“Mikoto! Here, try these!” You say excitedly, gaining some odd stares from other people who are shopping, but you two couldn’t care less.

It’s Christmas, you two have a shit ton of money saved up, and you’re planning to go broke.

Mikoto grins, holding up the outfit you got for her. It’s a black crop top with a small heart at the top that was bound to show some cleavage with how big her chest was, paired with denim shorts white legs, and hand warmers.

She takes it into the changing room and you go looking for more outfits, or some jewelry. You needed more earrings anyway.

A few minutes later, Mikoto walks out and your expectations are immediately met. She looks nothing short of beautiful.

“I like this one a lot! Think we can get a matching pair for you?” You shrug, but begin looking in the same area where you got the clothes for her.

It took a bit of time and a bit of accessory confusion, but your matching outfits were assembled. Your shorts were a bit longer because the store, unfortunately, didn’t have short shorts like the ones Mikoto had in the men's section.

Other than that, everything else matched to a T. From the shirt—which showed the slightest bit of your pectorals— to the shoes, to the rings and necklaces.

Mikoto holds up her phone, a bright smile on her face. “Cheese!!” The two of you say, both of your hands together to make a heart.

She sends it to you and Saiki because she wants him to be ‘jealous’ or whatever.

“What do you say we go get bubble tea and dango?”

You gasp. “I’m totally on board with that.”

The two of you laugh softly, take the clothes off, and go pay. Expensive? Hell yes, but working more shifts than you normally did paid off—literally.

Of course, you want to spend time with her! She’s the most perfect, quintessential pretty girl after all!

She won’t tell you that she’s surprised a guy just wants to hang out with her just to hang out.

No funny business, not because you have a crush on her, but because you thought it would be fun to spend the holidays together.

(Un)Fortunately, she is God’s favorite so you two really can’t go outside unless you want to get stared at the entire time.

If you don’t mind, then she doesn’t mind either. She’s used to it anyway.

It’s odd at first, she thought you wanted to use her to boost your popularity, or impress your friends, but later into the sleepover(?) she realized you just wanted to spend time together, as friends.

As odd as it is—Saiki is the only man who seems to be weak to her charms, and it looks like you are too— it’s a… welcome feeling, to say the least.

You and Teruhashi are in your room, watching an old Christmas movie you found in your closet a few weeks ago. Both of you had hot cocoa in your laps, paired with a plate of gingerbread cookies and graham crackers.

“Teruhashi…” You start, keeping your eyes on the screen. “Do you want to make cinnamon rolls?”

Her eyes widen, having to push down the excitement so you don’t think she’s childish. “Yeah, of course!”

The two of you smile and rush downstairs, you make a quick pit stop to tell your mother what you two were planning to do and all she tells you is to not burn the house down.

You grab all the ingredients needed and Teruhashi grabs all the bowls, whisks, and whatever baking equipment you two may need.

“Alright! Now, let’s get started!” You say in confidence and Teruhashi nods.

A beat of silence stretches out between you two as you aimlessly stare at the glare in the mixing bowls. “...I can’t bake.”

“...I can’t either.”

You two stare at each other with blank expressions before starting to laugh. It’s a nice, playful sound that you two share together. Teruhashi thinks it’s alright that she’s able to have fun without someone trying to impress her 24/7, but she’s not going to tell you that!

“You know what they say, right Teru?”

She cocks her head confusedly. “Fake it ‘till you make it?”

You finger-gun at her. “Exactly! And if we do burn the house down, this was my brother’s idea, not mine!”

She rolls her eyes but takes out the flour, sugar, eggs, and milk. The two of you silently decide that you’re going to do all the mixing, and Teruhashi will do all the measuring/putting it in the bowl.

As the two of you work in tandem, you’re also singing Christmas songs along with her. From old to new, slight romantic undertones or not, it’s fun.

And that only gets better when you have to leave the dough to rise. Straight Karaoke the entire time. You’re sure your throat is going to hurt later from all the mild yelling you’re doing, but who cares?

If you’re having fun with someone you care about, you’ll worry about pain later.

Surprisingly, you two didn’t burn the house down.

The cinnamon rolls do come out a tad, just slightly dry, but they taste amazing.

You and Teruhashi high-five. “We should do this again next year, but invite everyone else. What do you think?” You ask, taking a sip of your now slightly lukewarm hot cocoa.

Teruhashi is a bit conflicted. It would be nice if you invited the girls and Saiki over because she knows she can kind of be herself around them, but everyone else?

You notice her nervousness because you immediately say: “Or it can just be the both of us. No worries.” You shrug, taking a bite of the cinnamon roll that is 100% too hot to be in your mouth at the moment.

Teruhashi smiles at that. “Just the two of us is fine.”

You bump hips with her, carrying the plate of cinnamon rolls upstairs and to your room.

Teruhashi follows shortly after. The type of friendship you two have is something she would never give up.

Not even to make Saiki say ‘Oh wow!’ to her face.

Saiki walked out of school grounds, without acknowledging anyone who came up to him which made everyone suspicious. So now, the group were stalking behind the pink haired male without knowing that Saiki knows that they are following him.

But also maybe because this past few days, he has been acting a little weird and going home early and ignoring what everyone was saying around him so now they were going to find out on why.

Why has Saiki has been distant a lot more lately? But now, they were going to get their answers, but they won't know that they weren't going to find out.

"What do you think he's doing?" "I don't know, probably going to a cafe?" "Maybe he has after school work." 'Good grief, someday this would happen. But I didn't think this would happen so soon.' Saiki thought as he looked ahead of them. 'I don't want them finding them about this, Mikoto and Toritsuka are already hard enough monitoring so that they won't spill my secret already.' Saiki thought as he internally sighed as he heard a voice he has been wanting to hear for so long.

'Where's Kusou?'

He used clairvoyance and saw that a certain H/C haired male was waiting by their usual place and leaning against the wall and just looking around, to see if he can find the pink haired male in the crowd.

Saiki knew he has to get there but he also has to lose the group stalking behind him, so that they won't know. Especially since a certain dark blue haired girl is also with them.

So he thought of a plan to escape them and have a peaceful date with his lover, so he made sure to walk faster ahead of them while occasionally going into through the crowds to make sure they lost sight of him. Which took awhile but he eventually lost them.

He sighed in relief, as he teleported to where [Name[ was waiting for him and walked out of the side of the building which [Name] caught sight of. "Kusuo!" He said waving at the pink haired male.

He softly smiled and walked towards his boyfriend, he was greeted by a kiss on the forehead from the other male. "What took you so long Kusuo?" He asked.

'Some trouble came up..'

[Name] nodded in understanding as they went inside the cafe, they took their seat down as a waiter came up to them with a menu. They scanned through the menu and put their order as waiter left with their order.

"So, how was your day Kusuo?" [Name] asked as he leaned against the palm of his hand. 'Fine, just normal as usual.' Saiki said as [Name] chuckled.

'How about you?'

"Fine too, but someone confessed once again. It was quite awkward..." Saiki leaned against the palm of his hand as he listened [Name] ramble on and on, he knows how attractive his boyfriend is. He's quite popular at his school, if anything, he's like the male version of Teruhashi without the fragile ego.

The way they met was interesting, they both were at the cafe and there was only one coffee jelly and neither of them refused to give it up which caused the manager to spilt the coffee jelly so that the both of them would be satisfied. The both of them apologized to one another after that.

So, [Name] repaid for his behavior by offering to buy him coffee jelly the next time they met which Saiki did the same so the next time they saw each other, they treated one another with coffee jelly. It was quite interesting to say, the two got to a little better after that.

And after a few meet ups, they eventually started to caught feelings with one another and they confessed which lead to them dating.

And the situation they are in right now.

"Kusuo? Kusuo? Are you alright?" He asked after he realized that the pink haired male was dozing off, the said male blinked out of it and looked at his boyfriend with a worried look and food on the table.

"Kusuo, you were zoning out. Are you alright?" [Name] asked as he placed his hand on top of Saiki's hand, Saiki nodded and held [Name] hand as he rub his thumps over his knuckles.

"Are you sure?" Saiki nodded.

"Well, alright then. Let's eat!" [Name] said with a cheery face, Saiki nodded. They ate their dessert while [Name] talks to Saiki while the pink haired male occasionally nods and has a small smile on his face.

Saiki thought on how he gained such a golden retriever boyfriend.

Which that was [Name] is, he acts like dog around Kusuo. And always imagines him with a tail wagging behind, and just basically acting like a dog which Saiki founds amusing and cute at the same time.

"Saiki?" The said male eyes snapped open as he heard a familiar voice, he looked behind him and saw the group he had avoided earlier. He felt like all of his efforts went in vain seeing the group right in front of him.

"Saiki, who is this?" "What are you doing here...?" "Saiki?" 'What is going on? Why is Saiki- Is Saiki on a date?!"

'Yes.'

"Are these your friends Kusuo?" 'First name bases?!'

Saiki looked back at the H/C haired male as he nodded, [Name] smiled and stood up and stand in front of them as he introduced himself to them.

"Hello, I'm [Name] [L.Name], I'm Saiki's boyfriend, nice to meet you." .......

"What?!!" 'Good grief.'

teruhashi had a crush on this guy at school.

he was handsome, most handsome guy in their guy and everyone agreed to it. he was athletic and smart, he was kind to everyone and held a smile of his face all the time. nearly everyone had a crush on him, maybe even some guys, even teruhashi couldn't help but fall for him.

everytime they were paired up, teruhashi had prayed to the gods to favour her, to give her y/n l/n as a partner and whenever he was, she was beyond excited.

"let's work hard!"

"yes teruhashi."

he said, closing his eyes with a big smile and she blushed at the sight, trying to contain her face from turning red but as he opened his eyes, he had already suspected something that she didn't even know.

y/n wrote on the paper as he tapped the pen to his lips in thought, teruhashi looked at him, suggesting ideas and whatnot for the presentation that they were going to do later to present infront of the class. but then y/n set his pen down, fidgeting with his nails,

"would you like to go out to do this? i don't think we'll have enough time to finish this project."

teruhashi exclaimed loudly in her head, yes!

"oh sure! when are you free?"

"is this saturday okay?"

"yeah! let's meet up at the cafe downtown, what time?"

"4pm?"

"sure!"

y/n tapped his foot impatiently up and down on the ground as the sound of his foot matched his movements. he held his laptop in a bag with his phone in hand, waiting for teruhashi.

"l/n!"

y/n looked to his right, seeing teruhashi as her blue hair flowed into the wind and her hand holding her hair so the wind didn't blow her hair into her face, he smiled gently, waving back.

teruhashi stood infront of him and gestured to the door of the cafe,

"shall we go inside?"

"oh yeah-"

y/n pocketed his phone and reached his hand fast towards the door handle before teruhashi could, holding the door open for her as her hand retracted back to her fast,

"oh! thank you l/n!"

"my pleasure."

he smiled again with that stupid smile that gave teruhashi butterflies in her stomach, turning and entering the cafe quickly before he could hear her heart that was thumping in her chest.

y/n yawned loudly as he stretched his arms over his head. looking at teruhashi who was looking at the sunset,

"that was quick, we didn't know we finished the project so early."

"me either.."

y/n muttered as he stared at teruhashi, the sight of the golden rays of the sun, shining down on the two of them infront of the cafe but y/n was only looking at teruhashi, she was so pretty. no one else deserved to look at her but him, she was like a sight of espresso each morning. maybe he didn't even deserve to look at her either.

"teruhashi,"

she hummed at her name, making eye contact with y/n.

"do you, want to go on a date together, not as in friends, but like boyfriend girlfriend date.. i'm sorry if you don't- actually ignore everything i just said-"

teruhashi beamed at him, exclaiming a yes but realised what she was doing and cleared her thought, responding with a soft yes. y/n smiled as he wrapped an arm around her, rubbing the side of her arm as she blushed red, not caring if y/n sees her like this.

"let me walk you home, okay?"

"okay!"

she said with a big smile and closed eyes, it was y/n's turn to blush now, trying to calm his nerves and face from turning too red.

☆ ⸝⸝ "i thought you coming here was a one time thing", she raised an eyebrow. "just make my coffee."

kusuo saiki x reader

warnings: swearing, toritsuka.

monthly allowance. something saiki had very little trouble obtaining but had almost too much trouble trying to spend. usually he would buy a cup or two of coffee jelly but unfortunately the store had sold out. they said they would receive their next shipment in a week, but he don't feel like waiting that long.

saiki searched online for cafes that sold affordable coffee jelly and stumbled across a store that looked appealing. joyous day cafe. it had just opened up a few weeks ago and had already become a hit, they sold cutesy deserts and of course, coffee. now, he doesn't usually approach populated areas such as this one, however their coffee jelly had amazing reviews and was even sold for an even better price.

the place was, surprisingly, not as busy as saiki initially thought. the exterior was made of brick, painted an off white colour. there was pink and white striped shades above the windows and the sign was small and hung on the wall. saiki debated on whether to enter not, it was still pretty early in the day which meant it could still get busy over time. he would have turned away then and there but as he turned on his heel a familiar face peered down at him.

"oh hey buddy!", nendo grinned down at the pink haired boy who internally grimaced at his presence. he should’ve just waited for the next shipment to get to the stores. “you goin’ in? let’s go together!”

saiki was about to shake his head but was stopped by another voice that added to his demise, “saiki? you’re here?” teruhashi. great.

all he wanted to do was taste this coffee jelly and go home. but of course, fate had different plans. soon he was joined by kaido, hairo, yumehara and toritsuka. this coffee jelly better be worth it.

once they finally entered the cafe, they sat at a large booth that had soft pink seats. saiki was stationed between nendo and hairo, he was thankful the seats were large enough for at least a small amount of space to be between each person.

a waitress walked up to them, a small smile on her face. she adorned a white button up shirt, black mini skirt with a frilly apron over it and black mary janes with frilly socks. her h/c hair was in a messy low bun and she held a pen and notepad in her hands. everyone immediately recognised her, it was y/n l/n from their class.

“oh! hey guys, fancy seeing you here!”, she smiled her eyes scanned the table and beamed at the familiar faces.

now surprisingly, saiki didn’t mind y/n’s existence as much as the others. only because y/n didn’t put in too much effort into being around him. she was very casual and didn’t smother him with unwanted attention like everyone else, for that he was thankful. their interactions were short, nothing more than a quick hello or a quick conversation about whatever was going on in class but it only lasted a few words.

“what can i get you guys?” y/n clicked her pen.

everyone began ordering, they all ordered the most popular or random dishes. bear shaped tarts, paw print waffles, galaxy tea? it was all so bizarre.

of course, saiki ordered his simple serving of coffee jelly. however, another item on the menu caught his eye. it was called the psychic special. obviously it was just a fun name but he couldn’t help but feel intrigued by the name. the small description stated it was a latte that had a random choice of latte art, if you guessed what the latte art was, you’d get your order half off.

y/n simply nodded and said she’d be back with their orders. toritska’s eyes wandered a little too far down for saiki’s liking, his gaze grazing against the back of y/n’s thighs. "who knew l/n was such a hottie? with legs like that she should be model!". these thoughts irritated saiki so, with enough force to inflict pain, yet not too much as to cause a scene, saiki kicked the purple headed male’s shin. when he yelped in pain, saiki smirked.

"perv"

the group began to babble about the cafe’s interior and admired the many cutesy decorations splattered everywhere. meanwhile, saiki had taken notice of a glass case that had a variety of hot steaming treats aligned neatly next to each other. it was right next to the register and also next to the machine that made the coffee, which happened to be where y/n was.

“hey saiki,” she smiled, “i saved you a small booth over by the corner, thought you’d want some peace and quiet away from that bunch” she pointed over to the group of teens that had suddenly started an arm wrestling match. currently, nendo was on a winning streak.

“you’re an angel in disguise, l/n” saiki nodded at her with his usual stoic expression.

“just doing my job!” y/n gave him a thumbs up before her expression turned quizzical, “what’s up with you coming here? not that i mind, just doesn’t seem like a saiki kinda place”

saiki continued to look at the treats through the shiny glass, “me being here is a one time thing, don’t get used to seeing my face.”

y/n just wordlessly nodded with a smile as he hobbled over to the booth that she saved. it was in a plant covered corner, there was a bookshelf to the left and a window to the right. it only had two chairs, one was occupied by saiki and the other was vacant. in between was a brown circle table. perfect.

a few minutes passed before y/n approached saiki with his order on a circular tray. a glass with a small white ribbon looped around the stem sat neatly in front saiki, the brown gelatin dish smiled up at him, a swirl of whipped cream sat atop the dessert. y/n placed a mug with a small umbrella like cover over the top that saiki assumed contained his 'psychic special'.

"now as you probably guessed, if you guess the latte art, you get your entire order for half of the original price" she slid the tray underneath her arm as she awaited saiki's response.

now obviously this was just a fun game that some people would play, a game of chance. except, this little game was nothing to saiki, being psychic and all, this was just way too easy.

"its a heart" he bluntly stated.

y/n lifted the cover to reveal indeed, it was a heart. she smiled at him warmly, "you're one of the first customers to get that right, good job saiki" she left his table after explaining she would be back with his bill. at this point, the cafe might as well be a restaurant.

when she left, saiki couldn't help but look at her longingly as she walked away. she was definitely one of the more tolerable ones, he couldn't believe he actually enjoyed her presence.

scooping up a chunk of the coffee jelly, he plopped the serving into his mouth and nearly melted at the taste. it was just the right amount of sweet and bitter, the cream made the jelly smoother than regular jelly. it was like heaven!

"holy shit"

after saiki had paid for his order, he waved goodbye to y/n.

"see you at school saiki! thanks for stopping by!" she saved at him, it was a miracle she didn't see the obvious flush of his cheeks. then again, saiki probably cooled himself down before anything could make an appearance.

"buddy! where were you?! we were so worried!" oh.

saiki had been so caught up in enjoying his meal that he forgot about the problems that awaited him. they seemed to have been standing outside waiting for his arrival, how dedicated. they all expressed their worry for his sudden disappearance which made his once amazing mood slightly falter.

they all started down the bricked path, saiki taking one final glance at the cafe. he looked at the building longingly, a strange warm feeling pooling inside of him. he had never felt something like this before, best to not do anything about it.

the bell that hung on the door frame rung throughout the mostly empty cafe, alerting the h/c haired girl behind the counter.

“welcome to joyous day, how may i-“ she stopped herself “saiki?”

our pink protagonist smiled fondly at y/n, something that was never seen. he adorned a pale blue polo shirt and black jeans. something casual yet classy for his visit.

“i’ll get what i ordered last time please” saiki pointed at his usual order on the small menu board, earning a skeptical look from the girl opposite him. she simply nodded.

she started to prepare the hot drink, although her eyes never left the psychic. her cheeks glowed at him, her heart rate picking up slightly. she never took him for the kind of person to become a regular at this establishment, she took him for a simplistic guy. not that she was complaining, if he was here a lot more she’d actually look forward to coming to work. unbeknownst to her, kusuo was feeling something similar.

“i thought you coming here was a one time thing?” she raised a brow.

“just make my coffee”

“hm?” she smiled at you gently, waiting for you to say what you were gonna say. come on y/n, she probably dosent have all day and that girl next to her with short brown hair looks.. sad? it’s fine. “do you know where.. year two class three is?”

“oh yeah, I’m in that class!” the girl grinned at you. “my name is kokomi teruhashi, by the way,” teruhashi introduced herself. “come on, I’ll show you where you have to be,” she grabbed your hand and lead you to your class. is she an angel?

after awkwardly introducing yourself in front of the class, sitting in front of a pink haired weirdo and having a few people stare at you, class was over! you were having a good day so far.

Saiki hates being touched.

The male glances at his chest as he buttons up his shirt. It's still there. The stain on his skin. The bright pink seemed to bleed through his dress shirt without his jacket. Sure, he doesn't suffer because he can regulate his own body temperature, but he does find the sleeves more suffocating on certain days than others. Today is one of those days. He can already feel Nendo smacking his back.

As the sun bleeds into yellow on top of him, he finds himself bored again. He hasn't been feeling well since the new student joined his class. It's comedic at this point. What is this? Some sick joke from the universe? Even his powers aren't helping with how expressive he's been lately.

Nendo cheers at the sight of you running over, and he opens his arms to catch you.

"Good morning, Nendou-kun, Saiki-san!" Nendou sets you down, and you open your arms for Kaidou as he rushes over. Saiki pauses at the sight, and a quick thought flashes through his mind. Nevermind that. It didn't matter. Why the hell are you getting on his nerves?

Saiki nods as you start walking again. He wonders if he liked you. He really does. Yet, you had never touched him before, and he wasn't exactly capable of falling in love with someone that easily. He's going insane. Well, even if you weren't, he supposes he could just... change the laws of the universe as usual. Nothing too harmful.

"Right, how come you never hug pal?" Nendou tilts his head at you, and you shrug.

"He doesn't seem to like being touched," You pause. "He flinches whenever you smack him in the back, so I assume he doesn't like physical touch."

Saiki bites back the urge to tell you that he doesn't mind being touched by you.

'Thank you'

You grin in response.

The pattern goes the same. Saiki listens to his teacher ramble, he has lunch with his classmates, Teruhashi has everyone say 'offu', Kaidou goes on a tangent about the dark reunion, and Nendou asks him to get ramen after school. Saiki declines successfully, opting to hide in the school bathroom instead. Once he's sure everyone's gone, he steps out of the stall to breathe. Ah. The sun is setting.

Saiki slips his ring back on. He wanted some quiet. Yet, as he turns in the hallway, he hears the brief sound of a yelp, and the sight of papers flying everywhere. He catches the papers with his telekinesis, but he fails to keep the person afloat. He grabs their shoulders, keeping them above him, and he stares at their face.

"S-sorry!" You sit up and skitter to the side, eyes wide and worried. "Did that make you uncomfortable? I'm so sorry!"

Saiki stares at his shirt, and he notices the lack of pink through his shirt. His brain malfunctions, and the only thing he can manage out is a single word.

'Soulmate.' Saiki turns to stare at you as you glance at your shoulders. His heart is racing, and he swears he's never felt this before. Is he sick?

"Ah." You stare at him, eyes wide. You look like a deer caught in headlights. "Sorry. I meant to��"

Saiki stares at you with a brow raised. 'You knew?'

"You... brushed past me during orientation," You panic and try to explain. "I went home and noticed the lack of color... and you were the only one to touch there... so I just assumed-"

Saiki frowns and drops the papers onto the ground.

"You never told me?" He gets up and offers you a hand. "Why?"

"You didn't seem too invested in the whole soulmate thing," You take the papers from the ground, collecting them gingerly. "So I didn't want to bother you about it."

Saiki's shoulders slouch, and he whispers. "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" You turn to stare at him. "There's nothing to be sorry for."

Saiki bites back his words, yet as you start walking again, he rushes next to you. 'Let me help, please.'

You let him take half the stack, and it takes a while before he finally blurts it out. "I like you."

You blink at him owlishly, and he looks to the side, his ears red.

You don't say anything back, and Saiki wonders if he's been rejected for a moment. If that's the case, then he would have to travel back in time for a day and make it so that you don't reject him. That wouldn't be too hard. He wouldn't be surprised if you had turned him down. He should do it at night, so he'd have time to surprise you and—

You tug on the sleeve of his jacket, and he stares at you.

The papers are forgotten on the desk, and the classroom is empty. None of the students are left, everyone else long gone. Saiki isn't sure what made him stay back today of all days, but he supposes it's some twist of fate. Were you rejecting him now? He can't hear your thoughts, the ring on his finger. He didn't like this feeling. He doesn't like not being in control.

"I like you too." You aren't looking at him, but as the setting sun burns into his ear and his fingers wrap around yours, he supposes being touched isn't that bad. Only if it's you, though.

Saiko Metori x Male Reader

Originally Saiko transferred to PK academy to win the affection of Teruhashi,however, after many failed attempts he came to realize that Teruhashi was smitten over a boring pink haired male.

He of course was bitter over it, but still he stayed. And days pass, against his better judgment he fell head over heels for Y/n L/n.

He wasn’t able to pin point when he fell, I guess from a glance it was obvious why anyone who fall for Y/n. His drop dead gorgeous looks, and all the money in the world to spoil any fool rotten.

He was quite popular among the students, a day wouldn’t pass by when he would get love confessions.

But you seemed rather abrasive towards the attention, you’ve never excepted any of the confessions.

You had this standoff personality, coming off as rude at times. You never really meant to be the way you are, it’s just you never were comfortable with displays of affection, a trait forced upon you.

You ended up poking fun, or teasing as a way to convey closenesses you had for a person.

This of course included Saiko.

You would always be close by to him, it was rare to see you apart funnily enough.

You’d poke fun at his arrogant personality, and tease him for his lack of self awareness. It was a wonder he could stand you.

Each day you would find yourself, growing more attached to him. Despite you twos constant bickering.

Seasons passed or rather repeated, and the class started an ongoing bet, it was to see if you two would shut up and emit your obvious feelings for one an other. It got so popular the staff and teachers were joining in.

There were three different categories for betting.

First was who was going to confess first, majority said you.

Second was when, the most popular answers were: two weeks from now, end of the year, and never.

Final bet was how, that one now was very diverse with its answers. Some being the classic love note, by accident, and all the way to a dramatic life or death event forcing you two to emit you undying love for each other.

Saiko was kept unaware of the morally questionable acts of the class, however Y/n was told about this, some idiot folded to his interrogation.

When you found out of course you were taken aback, were you that obvious. But another idea came to mind.

You pulled one of the students off to the side, and told them to place a bet for you under their name. They questioned the fairness of it all, but you forced them to do it.

Your bet was: You, Tomorrow, and by a note.

The student did your bidding, looks and a bit of hush up money does wonders.

You were going to use this bet to your advantage, you would finally… confess… your… love.. to him…

You began to freak out a very reasonable and normal amount over your brash decision.

What were you going to do! You clearly didn’t think this thoroughly.

You spent the rest of the school day writing draft after draft for your love note. Being a perfectionist with inconsistent motivation was truly a personal hell for you.

After awhile the words all looked the same. You were a prodigy at writing. a praise given by many teachers. And yet here you sit, pathetically struggling with a simple note, it was as if you’ve completely forgotten the skill.

The day ends much to your dismay, and you dragged yourself home, knowing you’re going to need to sacrifice your sleep for this dumb idea.

And in your frustration, you’ve completely avoided Saiko. Too caught up in your misery to notice.

With a sigh, you enter to your house. No one was home, your parents once again failing to notice you of their overseas travel.

You ripped open your bag, and dig through it looking for the crumble piece of paper.

You haphazardly throw the paper on the living room table. You just stare at the paper, with rips, pencil smudged everywhere.

You just leave it there, even looking at it gives you a less than pleasant wave of anxiety.

You grabbed a new sheet of paper out your chaotically organized bag, and start a new one. However you notice your hands, stained with ink, and graphite from the countless letters.

Will this even be worth it?

The thought that has been nagging at the back of your head finally made its ugly return.

You were doubtful of the benefit of doing such a decision.

Does he actually care about you, or does he put up with you because you’re something that amused him doomed to be tossed away when he’s sick of you.

There was no reason for him to waste so much of his time with you if you were just that, it was unreasonable!

Though Saiko wasn’t a perosn of reason.

You were practically pulling yourself apart at the seems.

A gush of air flies past you, you look out and see a window open. Odd given that you don’t remember it being open before. You turn to around and see a fully written note on the table, with the old one nowhere to be seen.

Did you write this?

You look at the letter, and it is your handwriting. And the contents of the letter with nicely written, a little more lovey dovey to your liking but still.

You groan, how could you forget that you finished a letter already, sure you were a bit forgetful, but not to this extent.

But none the less you were grateful it was finished now.

But unknown by you, the letter was written by Saiki! Or rather copied by a rather sickening cheesy rom-com.

He was doing this of course because he was sick and tired of you and Saiko being rather annoying idiots.

There was alternative motives to his assistant, he placed a similar bet that you did not out of free will however since his loveable idiots that leached off him forced him to do so.

Even going as far as adding that if he won, the group would buy him coffee jelly for the rest of the month. And how could he pass up that offer! So he decided to push you along the right path, making sure you don’t back out.

But back to you,

The morning comes, and you are filled with dread. All you do is push his buttons so how could he—

The thought gets muffled.

You got out of bed and went through your usual routine. And left the house, making your way towards PK academy.

You arrived at the front gates of the school, and to your surprise there was a crowd forming infront of the school, waiting in baited breathe.

It wasn’t abnormal that a crazy impossible event arises out of thin air, it’s basically the norm at this point.

But something about this felted off, you couldn’t place your finger on it.

It was almost like they were waiting for you.

You felt uncomfortable with the eyes burning through you, and tried to enter the building but a voice stops you.

“Y/n!”

You turned around and saw Saiko, the crowd starts watching the two, as if it was a some TV show.

“What do you need this time?” You grinned. Trying to hide your nerves.

“I have something I must confess to you!” He confidently spoke.

“Okay, what is it?” You spoke, a little out off by his tone.

“I have fallen in love with you!” He swoons, pulling out an absurdly big bouquet out of nowhere.

“What?” You barely get out the words, staring dumbfounded by his actions.

“I have be in-love with you since I’ve laid my eyes on you! Your looks, your passion. You would be the perfect match for me!” He rants, as the crowd cheered for him.

You choked out a laugh, and before you could stop yourself you go into a laughing fit, the stress building up from the last few hours finally pouring out.

“You idiot!” You run a hand through your hair.

The crowd gasps, clearly not predicting this turn of events.

“Only you would make a big spectacle over this.” You giggled, as Saiko lowered the flowers slightly not sure what to do now.

“I should’ve known you would’ve tried to make a move first! And to think I could’ve beaten you to it!” You snickered, pulling out the nicely sealed love note.

“-Such a shame really, I wanted to take you off guard and romantically sweep you off your feet.”

The crowd is confused trying to make out the meaning of your words.

“Wait, you share the same feelings as me?” Saiko furrowed his brows.

“You’re an idiot.” You grumbled, you grab him harshly by the button up shirt, and pulled him into a kiss.

The crowd erupted in cheers.

You pull back with a sly grin, Saiko out his element of not having control, just absentmindedly puts his hand to his lips. Trying to mesmerize the feeling of your lips.

“Does that answer your question.” You teased, as Saiko slightly nods his head.

“Aw did I break you.” You cooed, now holding his face in your hands.

No answer.

The bell rings much to everyone’s dismay.

Everyone starts shuffling back into the school, some linger willing to risk being late for this moment.

You sighed, before giving him another kiss.

“I’ll see you after school for our date-“

“My little prince.” You began walking away, With a cocky smile on your face.

You enter the building doors, and make a dash for the men’s bathroom. You make a quick check to see if anyone is there with you.

You hide your face in your hands, muffing an embarrass groan. You were burning up, and you could feel your heart beat. You stay in the bathroom, rethinking the ways you could’ve done it better.

With the sappy moment, the story ends.

But Saiki is upset at this, he betted on you growing a pear and confessing. But nooo Saiko just had to do it himself.

Now he has to deal with another lovesick couple and to add insult to injury, he doesn’t get his coffee jelly now because of it.

A/N : Pebble is doing well! I’m sorry this has been sitting in their inbox for so long. Saiki K and pets coming right up! I hope you’re okay w just the main 4 :)

Saiki K characters and their pets

I feel like Saiki would like a snail. it seems silly but I think he’d like a snail because they really just don’t have a care in the world, they’re simple animals . Unlike cats and dogs they don’t do much, they just eat, nap, and walk around their cage or tank. They’re also relatively low maintenance so it would be much of a hassle to clean up after them.

Teruhasi would want an animal just as cute and innocent as her. And when she thinks of innocent and cute, a Pomeranian pops in her pretty little head. She originally wanted to get it herself but her brother heard her talking to herself about it and got it for her. She was upset but still took the pup, naming it Darling. She got her baby a little pink now and always makes sure shes nice, neat, and pretty, she can’t be seen with a dirty dog! That’d tarnish her pretth perfect girl reputation!

Nendo would love hamsters and guinea pigs! Not only does he have experience with them but he’s very good with them, they’d be a bit scared at first yeah but they quickly bond with him. Guinea pigs are much more louder with Nendo since they feel comfortable around him. Hamsters get more active with him because they know they’ll get a fun time of play with him around!

Kaido would want a German Shepard or husky but would get intimidated by their size and go with a shiba instead, claiming it as the runt of a husky litter and that he planned on raising it to destroy the dark reunion as a side kick. Its name? Lovey, but around others he says it’s name is Shadow, don’t compare it to sonic, he gets very upset when people do that
