So, I feel like it would be an honest accident. Like he obviously wasn't trying to reveal or even know this huge secret, but once he did he knew it was too late. He was walking home late and happened to walk passed Saiki's house and was just about to say his fellow psychic friend hello but stops when seeing Makoto leave the front door. Oh, so he came to visit? Thought Reita and stopped when seeing Saiki look back and forth fast before leaning to Makoto and giving him a kiss before the blue haired man rushes off gleefully, neither seeing the purple haired teen wide eyed and jaw dropped.

The next day he sees Saiki and decides to not piss the kid off with a reveal he knows something so important. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut- That doesn't necessarily mean he didn't accidentally let it slip among friends- Who didn't even try to not blab-

Outside normal canon where he would be scared shitless either way, but Saiki upon hearing people know of his relationship with Makoto without all the details is mortifying for him. He was also more than aware what people were thinking...

I guess that makes sense why he's nice to Teruhashi yet doesn't see how pretty she is - Thought one guy in the halls Gods what a waste, how can he even think that's okay? - Thought a teacher during classes He's obviously smooching up for some money and fame, how terrible - Thought a girl who was giving papers to a teacher during class

Each time a negative thought happened Saiki felt like he'll throw up. A part of him was more than aware he can easily erase everyone's memories before the rumors leave the school grounds but knows Makoto and Saiko (and Satou is he's in this) would question how that happened and he might reveal his powers

Reita gave him a million and one apologizes and vowed to make it up to him for this inconvenience and issue, but Saiki just... didn't know how to react

Until-

The class day was just ending and without warning Saiko wrapped a arm around Saiki's shoulders and, rather loudly too, "So, you wanna meet Makoto at the cafe earlier than usual?" At first Saiki was confused, even more when Makoto showed up to "pick up his dears". Even more confused when they both kissed his face sweetly before they went off to the cafe to spoil him rotten in coffee jellies

Yeah turned out Teruhashi called her bro up to tell him the deal and while it sucks to be outed they were more focus on a certain glasses wearing cutie than anything, they can deal with harsh haters and creeps later
