Syafakillah or Syafakallah Meaning
Tumblr media
"Syafakillah" and "Syafakallah" are both expressions of care and concern for someone who is sick, and they are often used in Arabic-speaking communities as a way to show support and seek Allah's blessings for the person's recovery.
Syafakillah means "May Allah heal you" for a woman, while "Syafakallah" is intended for a sick man.
The use of "Syafakumullah" when addressing more than one man reflects the importance of showing respect and consideration for others in this context.
Additionally, these expressions demonstrate the belief in the power of Allah to heal and provide comfort, which can offer comfort and solace to the person who is sick, as well as to those who are offering their well wishes.
Tumblr media
This is a commonly recited Dua (supplication) in Islam as a way of expressing gratitude and submission to Allah. It's also a reminder that health and all other blessings come from Allah and that we should turn to Him in times of need, including when someone is sick. The person reciting this Dua is seeking Allah's guidance, comfort, and healing for the person who is sick.

No comeback for you, Sarah Palin. On Wednesday, Palin lost the race for Alaska’s only U.S. House seat to Democrat Mary Peltola. The seat was left open after the March death of Rep. Don Young. Peltola is the first Alaska Native elected to Congress in U.S. history. Reposted from @thedailybeast Head to the link in their bio for more. ___ Photo: Lev Radin/Pacific Press via Getty Images #sarahpalin #marypeltola #alaska #politics #news #breakingnews #congress https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch8uEgAukiQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Democrat Mary Peltola defeats Sarah Palin in Alaska’s House special election Peltola, who is Yup'ik and turned 49 on Wednesday, will become the first Alaska Native to serve in the House and the first woman to hold the seat. She will serve the remaining months of the late Republican U.S. Rep. Don Young's term. Young held the seat for 49 years before his death in March. Peltola's victory, coming in Alaska's first statewide ranked choice voting election, is a boon for Democrats, particularly coming off better-than-expected performances in special elections around the country this year following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe v. Wade. She will be the first Democrat to hold the seat since the late U.S. Rep. Nick Begich, who was seeking reelection in 1972 when his plane disappeared. Begich was later declared dead and Young in 1973 was elected to the seat. Peltola ran as a coalition builder while her two Republican opponents — Palin and Begich's grandson, also named Nick Begich — at times went after each other. Palin also railed against the ranked voting system, which was instituted by Alaska voters. The results came 15 days after the Aug. 16 election, in line with the deadline for state elections officials to receive absentee ballots mailed from outside the U.S. Ranked choice tabulations took place Wednesday after no candidate won more than 50 percent of the first choice votes. Peltola was in the lead heading into the tabulation rounds. Wednesday's results were a disappointment for Palin, who was looking to make a political comeback 14 years after she was vaulted onto the national stage when John McCain selected her to be his running mate in the 2008 presidential election. In her run for the House seat, she had widespread name recognition and won the endorsement of former President Donald Trump. But critics questioned her commitment to Alaska, citing her decision to resign as governor in July 2009, partway through her term. Palin went on to become a conservative commentator on TV and appeared in reality television programs, among other pursuits. #marypeltola #sarahpalin #alaska #election #mycelebrityandi https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch8kCdDojXE/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Lisa Murkowski advances in Alaska's new ranked-choice Senate Primary Election
Tumblr media
In her state's new ranked-choice voting system, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) easily won the all-party primary on Tuesday. She will now face three opponents in the general election, including one supported by former President Donald Trump. Given that Lisa Murkowski is an incumbent senator seeking a fourth term, it is hardly surprising that she has advanced.
Lisa Murkowski
The Alaskan election process itself is more intriguing since, under the current system, primaries no longer pit Republicans against Republicans and Democrats against Democrats. Instead, all candidates, regardless of party affiliation, compete against one another, and the four who receive the most votes advance to the general election in November. Ranked-choice voting will be used in that election as well. Lisa Murkowski: On Tuesday's ballot, there were 19 candidates, including Pat Chesbro, the Democratic front-runner, and Kelly Tshibaka, the greatest GOP challenger to Murkowski. Trump, who has vowed to defeat Murkowski, has been campaigning for Tshibaka, a far-right socially conservative candidate who once wrote in support of a "ex-gay" organisation and warned of the dangers of "addictive" witchcraft. Tshibaka was one of seven Republicans who voted to convict Trump for inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection. Tshibaka, who formerly oversaw the state's Department of Administration, received support from the leaders of the Alaskan Republican Party. A few months prior to their endorsement, they voted 53–17 to denounce Murkowski for supporting Trump's impeachment.

Primary Election But Lisa Murkowski has already demonstrated that she is not afraid to stand up to party conservatives. She began a write-in campaign in 2010 after shockingly losing her primary to a tea party candidate, using now-famous ads that meticulously spelt out her name. She accomplished an amazing feat by winning with no help from her party. Beyond that, the state's new election system, which was approved by voters in 2020, unquestionably advantages the long-serving Republican senator. To advance in the primary, Lisa Murkowski only needed to finish among the top four vote-getters. Murkowski, who is unquestionably the most moderate Republican in the current Senate, is likely to draw support from Republicans, independents, and Democrats when they rank their top candidates in the general election. The general election in Alaska will virtually operate as an instant runoff. Only if a voter's first and later picks come in last and don't advance to the next round are their second, third, and fourth choices taken into consideration. When one candidate receives more than 50% of the vote, the election is declared over. Additionally, Lisa Murkowski gains by being better known and having more resources than Tshibaka. According to Federal Election Commission filings, the Republican senator had $5.3 million in cash on hand as of July 27th, while Tshibaka had only $808,000. More than five times as much money was spent on the campaign. This does not imply that Murkowski will win this in November. She knew, though, that going into the primary, she could take a deep breath. Do follow our Facebook Page Read the full article
