* Antis Sessrin coming under my posts when I simply explain that :

Sesshomaru canonically showed no romantic or sexual interest in Rin as a child in the Inuyasha anime, so he is not a pedophile.

And that Rin being mom in Yashanime at 18 is not proof that she was the victim of grooming, due to the fact that we are in a feudal era where girls under 18 are seen as adults.

Grooming also involves a lot of time spent with the person, Sesshomaru was from what we know canonically on the move a lot and came to see Rin from time to time. In the facts, nothing on screen is shown that could suggest grooming.

Canonically, there is no grooming storyline in the Sessrin relationship on screen in Inuyasha and Yashanime, whether you like it or not.

* For deny what I say and act moralistic, know that you are wasting your time.

At this point, you antis invent a grooming scenario yourself to explain why Sessrin ends up together because you don't like them together, or it makes you uncomfortable. I don't know, I'm not in your head.

But in the hard facts shown on screen, nothing involves grooming. Again, it's just facts.

Honestly this feels pretty bittersweet but oh so fitting to end one of my longest projects (I think it was like a year or so) on a somber note, and perhaps hopeful thoughts to come.

I recalled writing this coda (which is amended little) on impulse, at a journey to work, and in a chain cafe with a mediocre chai latte, fuelled by anger at how bullshittery the Season 1 finale for Trashhime was, and boy I was correct that I did run caution in the wind, because it was very bad.

If you get to read this story to the end, I want to thank you for sticking with me 🥺, it can be discouraging that I write a story that I am unsure many would read, and to be nominated for Q2 2022 for best Canon-Divergence Fic in @feudalconnection is such a huge honour y'all.

I want to give a huge shoutout to my new writing friends in @inu-mothership for making me welcome to that group, especially my dearest dearest beta reader @fawn-eyed-girl who has ride and die for me in the story, even to see our previous google doc crashed because of her many notes :'D

You guys make it so possible for me to find my voice, and it all comes and go, like the chapters in that story, to walk through a long journey like Kirinmaru and now finishing it 💖

I am so honoured.
