I also want to take a minute to get a little sentimental. I really didn’t expect this fic to gain any traction. I asked myself several times “who other than me would want to read a Trojan War/South Park fan fiction?”

Turns out, there’s a few of you out there!

I want to seriously thank everyone that’s been along on this ride with me from the bottom of my heart. It means the world to me to have been able to share this silly idea with all of you, and for you to have enjoyed it.

Now that the fic is fully published I’ll be happy to discuss more of my process/thoughts/spoilers in my asks, so please don’t be shy! I want to share what you guys want to know!

Other Anon you're an idiot. If no one came out talking about this then they wouldn't be held accountable for their manipulative and vile actions. That's how the Internet works. If this was like- family stuff or whatever then yeah maybe sort it out with a therapist, authority, lawyer, ect. But, this is an Internet person who could go around and legit harm others- their work, reputation, mental health, ect. Which they might've already done. I will continue to state that I was the admin of the server and have access to the metadata. I have the entire record. Dog can accuse me of "cherry-picking" but she already did. She said it herself to me in a call how easy it was to cherry-pick screenshots, and I took that as a threat. I had to assume by her tone that she would try to downplay or manipulate my words/the record of the conversations. Therefore, I made sure to save screenshots of the complete conversations that were causing friction between us because this isn't the first time I've dealt with a manipulative person online. Also, we were starting a business. Everything I did was in part to hold myself accountable, while also holding her accountable. If I fucked up, I wanted to see where and how I fucked up so I could improve and do better, but after privately getting council from my friends for months, having them examine complete conversations for what I may have done wrong, the consensus was "this isn't you, this is Dog." And well, now here we are.

I've had multiple people come forward (with evidence) telling me about their experiences with her manipulative and abusive behaviors. This is a pattern. The same language and tactics she tried to use on me are the same things she's used on others because it was working. No one that I'm aware of has come forward with this much about her publicly because she bullies, manipulates, and intimidates people. She just finally met someone who wasn't afraid to stand up to her, and that was the critical error on her part.

tbh you are so real for talking about the misogyny targeted to mei & other women in the lmk fandom. in general its like people only value mei as: a: the wingman to some basic mlm ship or b: macaque 2.0. its honestly crazy how so many male side characters overshadow her in the fanbase despite not even having a FRACTION of her screen time. idk chat i feel like the reason people dont care about mei but care about some random male side/background character is less because they're inherently more likeable but because some of you view women as inherently less likable. and everyone is always like "mei is so girlboss pussy cunt slay shes the only reason theyre still alive because she keeps them safe from their silly boy shennanigans shes their ultimate wingman shes so badass shes their lesbian best friend i totally paid attention to her when i watched this show LOL" and even ignoring the obvious misogyny here (ie. how people reduce her to being the male characters babysitter) its like... okay... i know mei is cool & badass already... could you name literally ANY other character trait she has. like people just value her as being "the braincell" who can get red son and mk together or something stupid and its like are we having fun still is this still fun. literally every day i go into the mei tag its like "look at mei shes red sons wifey and shes vaguely in the background of this drawing of red son and mk staring into each others eyes #trafficlighttrio am i right oh look shes macaques niece now this post is about ao lie why is it in the mei tag"

and thats literally JUST talking about mei and it doesnt even begin to cover the other female characters. chang'e constantly gets reduced to being red sons aunt/mom/big sister despite them like. not having any actual interactions in the show. lady bone demon constantly gets overshadowed by her minion who has like 2 seconds of screen time, or she gets made into a cartoonishly abusive madwoman who people call lady bitch demon. just in general people act like shes a horrible person for like. being a villain. liks yeah the trying to destroy everything was bad but also she was an antagonist and thats what antagonists do LOL. spider queen gets completely ignored. princess iron fan gets made into a cartoonishly abusive mother so that way red son can have a poor angsty backstory and some male character (usually nezha, macaque, swk) can take care of him.

(also theres just a great deal of ethnocentrism in the lmk fanbase? like im white so take what İ say here with a grain of salt but so many people will misconstrue aspects of chinese culture for their own personal hcs. people will say male characters are transfem or nonbinary while completely ignoring the time period/culture their from where thats the norm. like yippee youve implied that an east asian man is feminine/emasculine because he has long hair. how do you not see the negative connotations with this. people also turn pif (& lbd to an extent) into a dragon lady which obviously has negative racial connotations lol.)

Amazon Self Publishing- Flotsam and Jetsam Book 3 UPDATE:

So, as you might have seen I've had the Kindle version of the scrubbed comic (Accidental MerDer) Flotsam and Jetsam Book 3 up for a month or so now, but no hard copy. This is because Amazon is an asshole who tried to get away with not approving it originally, but when I proved that it is, indeed, my work and I am the one publishing it online, they said I was good to go. But then suddenly every little thing gets flagged, like 'ineligible text' in a spot where it's... not... supposed to be readable he's hallucinating. And no one will respond to me when I email, or tweet, or send in a report. Sooo... there probably isn't going to be a Amazon published book 3, unfortunately. It seems like this is their way of refusing to print it without actually giving me a legit/legal reason why. If you've already ordered copies of the 1st and 2nd books, and really really want a copy of the 3rd I am printing one for myself (and one for someone who specifically requested it!) and I've printed 2 more with some extra sketch pages in the end. These are, obviously, very limited and first come first serve. I'm really sorry about this. :(

That being said, I might put together a omnibus of the first three issues with a bunch of extras if there's enough interest in it. I know most of you have been reading it online, and don't really feel the need to own a published copy. Which is totally understandable! But I thought I'd do a quick interest check anyway.
