Okay headcanons about Hylia. Tumblr deleted this before I could finish so HOPEFULLY I remembered everything

- She was planning to become a mortal before First died. She wanted to be beside him forever, as his equal, partner and wife. So she promised herself that once they defeated Demise and her people were safe she would make the sacrifice, no matter what anyone thought of it

- She is at a lower level of godhood than the golden three. She’s still powerful, of course, and has the ability to vanquish evil. But she can’t control the fates of the Hylians. She can only protect and guide them.

- Her love language is giving gifts. Much like how she hid tools for future heroes to use, she loved hiding things for First to find. From rupees and useful objects, to little trinkets that made him smile, she made it a habit of giving him things

- Her and First met when he was in a dungeon trying to kill a fierce and evil dragon that had been attacking Hylians. He got overcome by the monsters and almost died. But Hylia saw that there was something special about him and saved him. They both say it was love at first sight. Which is likely true given that when she started to heal his wounds, First, who was high on blood loss and adrenaline, looked up at her with a loopy grin and said she was the most beautiful woman he had ever met and would she marry him? Hylia never let him live that down

- She has a soft spot for animals, almost as much as First. But Kikwis tend to drive her nuts. This may have to do with their first kiss experience

- She is as daring and fearless as Sun, and as kind and gentle too. First’s imprisonment were the worst years of her life. She literally felt his pain as though it were her own, and it drained her just as it did him.

- In between the eras where Hyrule needs a hero and a girl with goddess blood, people have said they can see two spirits in the forest, a woman with hair the color of the sun and a man with a crimson cape. Sometimes they’re laughing and dancing or playing music together, others they’re quietly walking hand in hand.

(Old) PIKMIN 4 (demo) SPOILERS SOUND THE ALARM BWAAAAMMM BWAAAMMM🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Okay ik none of you care about my non art posts but can I ramble about dingo and the shepherd pls pls pls

It’s one thing to be a cocky confident dumbass, but it’s another to be a cocky confident dumbass with a soft spot. And while dingo’s soft spot for the shepherd is cute, what’s cuter is the reason why he likes the shepherd.

Dingo is unfamiliar with the shepherd’s cheery admiration towards him, especially after loosing against her. He is so used to being tough and cold and abiding by his training that when someone shows him genuine affection, he gets confused. The man does everything to set himself up beyond other people’s expectations. Things like avoid the newbie and do things all by himself are proud examples of that.

And if he were not to live up to those expectations, he would be considered a fraud, a hero that let many down. So why does the shepherd look up to him?

Because she’s no better.

While of course, the shepherd is nowhere near as flaunty and cold as dingo, she too strives to hold up to her expectations as captian, and does it in a similar foolish manner.

Case and point: the pikmin, and the pnf-404 critters in general.

In the shepherd’s literal introduction, you see her being scared by a small group of bulborb larva. Not bulborbs, but the baby kind. I get it, this is a new planet with new animals and creatures she hasn’t seen before, but these things are so pathetic and small that oatchi can kill them in one bite. This is essentially like a war veteran being scared of a cockroach. It doesn’t make it better that immediately after this, she pretends like it didn’t happen.

This happens again with possibly the only friendly thing on pnf-404, the pikmin.

And in later night dialogue logs, she denies of her fear of pikmin, and says she’ll prove she’s not scared…When she can touch one. (I’ve ran out of image slots and don’t have one on me so you’ll have to bear with me on this.)

The shepherd wants to be the best captian she can. Everyone enjoys her as captian not just because she has the skills of one, but because she has the personality of one as well. She wants to wager peace over civilizations, and is always worried if she isn’t trying hard enough. Not to mention she actually is very fond of dingo, always seeming to have hope in him. Out of all the rescue corp members you retrieve in the demo, dingo was the one she was sure would survive. And she lets him rest for as long as he needs, allowing him to rest longer than he actually needs to (lmao).

Dingo and the shepherd are both the most skilled on the team, and are very optimistic about their positions, yet they both share great flaws and are embarrassed about them. But they look up to each other despite the others flaws, and are amazed by each other’s abilities. A power duo if you will.

Lucifer

Lulu is essentially the overseer of hell and the ultimate judge of things, usually you do NOT want to be presented before Lucifer because it means you fucked up so badly that not even Minos wants to judge you. This is added with their ringleader aesthetic and more trickster way of performing magic, they are the ultimate power in hell and will let you know.

Leviathan

Being the secondary power of hell, the original prisoner of the place and one who can navigate the abyss. Leviathan dips her toes in a lot of things but she’s mostly the head of weaponry and magic, as her body is essentially covered in knives. Because of this she’s the knife thrower or more finesse performer.

Mammon

Being literally named Money, he’s the economy. He runs banks, treasuries and entertainment in hell. If you see commercials in hell, it’s because of mammon. He’s mostly the buffoonery in circus (clowns, jesters, mimes), and thus he has a soft spot for clowns and jesters.

He also creates Homunculi, which takes the form of weirdly sentient robots or flesh golemns that follow orders.

Belphagor

The sleepy genius is the head of hospitals and technology, she’s the reason why there’s smart phones in hell. Granted she often has to update hell to human’s standards and gets some things wrong, which is why the internet is fucking horrendous half the time in hell… but like that’s a torture for sinners so win win? She’s also the contortionist and gymnast, considering she was born before the invention of wheel chairs she knows how to move herself around without her chair.

Beelzebub

The gluttony demon is the head of food, nothing too thrilling. Farms, food factories, and party houses where people can indulge as much as they like on empty calories and empty serotonin. Beelzebub is the acrobat and trapeze artist and often hosts parties in hell, mostly to keep the peace among the sins and try to bridge gaps.

Iblis

The Strong man of the circus and the head of transportation, he mostly oversees trains and gates and such and works with leviathan to keep gates of hell regulated. He and his wife Babel are also the creators of the species of imps, thus imps are considered a bit more revered in wrath. His ring also has fight pits and mines for coal to run the trains so yeah.

Asmodeus (spoken as one person as the job is considered for one person)

The animal tamer and breeder of hell, his job is simple. He makes potions, breed demons, make new types of demons, run the nightclubs and bars, and oversee the more feral type of demons. He also oversees political marriages, although he finds marriage dumb as hell. He’s also the one who oversees succubi, one of the only species of demon who commonly still go to earth without being summoned.

Belial

Since she’s Lucifer’s kid and the future ringmaster, her parent has made her the carnival barker of sorts. She runs limbo with Minos and Charon, overseeing souls and sorting them while also overseeing demon contracts with mortals and even making deals herself. She’s the sin that everyone considers the weakest one, since she’s the sin of betrayal and she happens to be less eager to murder than the others. But don’t let that fool you, she is still feared in hell… just not AS much.

Overall they are all rulers with their own set of retainers, armies and such.

Hell they are more akin to emperors while right under them are often 3 kings who do things to keep their stations running. Example being asmodeus has a king who can turn off the fertility of people whenever.

The red flag book purists

This post can be in regard to many recent book to film (or TV) adaptations including Neil Gaiman's The Sandman, Dead boy Detectives, and Good Omens. Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher. And Anne Rice's Interview with The vampire, and The Mayfair Witches. I am going to address a pattern I've seen and you may associate it with a different book to TV or film adaptation. I used to consider myself a book purist. Maybe I still am. I preferred book to TV or movie adaptations be as faithful as possible. In general I still do but there are occasions where I think the adaption improves the source material. I think the 1994 film Interview with The Vampire has a better ending than the novel. I think Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow is more interesting and has more relatable characters than the Washington Irving story. Though updated to take place in the 1990s the version of The Canterville Ghost starring Patrick Stewart is my favorite adaptation of the novel. The stop motion animated musical Nightmare before Christmas, which teeters on being a Danny Elfman Opertta, I like the Nightmare before Christmas film more than the original Tim Burton poem. And though only very, very, very loosely based on the Edgar Allan Poe poem, The Raven (1963) is my favorite Vincent Price movie. And as kind of a guilty pleasure I have a soft spot for versions of Dracula that are both predatory but romantic like Bram Stoker's Dracula and the 1979 Dracula film starring Frank Langella. And, yes, Castlevania. Again, I considered myself a book purist but there are exceptions where I admit that the changes improve upon the original story. Lately I've seen people call themselves book purists and it's become something of a dog whistle for something else. It feels almost like this new breed of book purist discredits the original meaning which wants integrity to the story. I.e. no rape scene just for shock value. (I'm talking about you, Game of Thrones and Interview with the Vampire TV series). This new form of so-called book purist which I have to come up with a name for... Let's call it Book Puritan for now until I can come up with something better.   The book puritan seems like the typical book purist at first. They just really, really like the source material but the more you talk to them the more you realize they are actually upset about something other than respecting the original books. Here are the top ten things complained about by Book Puritans. 1. They get upset if a character's skin color is changed or other race based complaints even though it has no impact on the story at all. "This character shouldn't be black!" They will complain about agenda and sometimes the character in question didn't even have a race to begin with, like Death in The Sandman. She's literally The Grim Reaper. She can be any race she feels like.

2. They get upset about gender swaps. "This character was originally a man!" I understand if you have a particular visual in your head of a character but if you think the interactions will drastically change meaning and feeling because the male character is now a woman perhaps you should consider your own bias on the subject. Or perhaps the original story was something of a sausage fest and even the author wanted to add more women to the mix.

Sometimes this is not actually a good thing. Changing Lestat's lover Antoine into Antoinette in the Interview with The vampire TV series bordered on straightwashing just to make his bisexuality more blatant. Also Lestat making her mutilate herself (cut off a finger) to fake her own death contradicted how Lestat acts with his lovers in the novels and was ultimately pointless since they kill pretty regularly and Lestat could have taken the finger from any woman's corpse. In the most recent remake of Children of the Corn they had the child preacher be a little girl instead of a boy. This attempt at inclusion undermined the patriarchal symbolism of a fanatical Christian-like cult and felt like another crude dig against matriarchal religions like the remake of The Wicker Man. So you see from my own examples sometimes there are understandable exceptions. But *In general* character gender swaps don't usually do any harm to the story. 3. They get upset because characters that were not confirmed as queer in the original stories are now openly queer. "But he was straight in the novels!" Not necessarily. Sometimes characters are queer coded or "overly straight" (compensating) to hide that the character is not straight to the casual observer. You have to consider that some novels written thirty or forty years ago had to contend with homophobic publishers.

Though Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles seem pretty obvious to a lot of people and there are scenes of Armand actually calling Daniel his lover and Lestat asking Louis why he loves him, etc, there are still people out there convinced that Anne Rice's vampires are straight. I can still recall back in the 90s being an Anne Rice yahoo group and someone responding to a post with "My Prince Charming is STRAIGHT!!!" (this was in regard to Louis).

Now, today the flamboyant bard Jaskier (translated as Dandelion in the English language novels and directly translates to Buttercup) was confirmed as bisexual in The Witcher Netflix series. And there are "Purists" genuinely angry about this.

Their biggest shield of "We just want book accuracy" is the fact that there are scenes of him "womanizing" and being a promiscuous flirt with women but never men. So what? So what if The Witcher's sidekick is bisexual? If it supposedly shouldn't matter why are you upset? How does it harm the main story? One argument I was given is “It’s important that he look gay without being gay as to break the stereotype.”  And yet others will claim there was never any hint that he wasn’t straight.   Which is it?   Is it he was a stereotypical queer man who was actually straight or there was supposedly no sign that he was ever queer.  Make up your mind.  Sometimes the LGBTQ+ content was always there such as in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman and the person who supposedly read it went into such a deep denial that they genuinely didn't see it when originally reading the story. 4. They get upset if an old bit of sexism in the original story is corrected. i.e. the occasional Witcher fan who insists (despite the video games) that Ciri can NEVER be a "real Witcher" because "only men can be Witchers." I once got into an argument with a Witcher fan who insisted that despite what the video games say, because she wasn't mutated and never went through the Trial of the Grasses, Ciri can never be a true Witcher. And it's "Important" that no woman ever be a Witcher. Really? Why is that so important to maintain?

Just because something always was a certain way doesn't necessarily mean it should remain that way. 5. They question if a character was changed when the character was actually always that way. This could be in regard to a character being gay or it could be in regard to a character being Jewish. I remember when the still from Coraline circulated with her celebrating Hannukah and people thought it was fan made because everyone was just so used to the default that all characters are presumed Christian until told otherwise. 

This sort of thing is common, taking for granted that a character is just like you or fits a “normalcy” unless explicitly told otherwise. This also accounts for a lot of characters being presumed straight until shown otherwise.

When I was watching Penny Dreadful there were people upset that Ethan was “made” gay (revealed as bisexual) in episode 4 of the first season “because there was no sign of it before.   It’s set in 1891.  How was he supposed to “act” bisexual? There were people in such denial that they convinced themselves that the man he slept with, Dorian Gray, had put him under some sort of spell. The irony is Ethan wasn’t even revealed as being a werewolf until the end of the season and his real name wasn’t given until season 2 but somehow him being bisexual and it being revealed in the fourth episode of the fifth season was “out of left field” and “made no sense.”

   Imagine if Buffy The Vampire Slayer fans reacted to the reveal (that I predicted at age fifteen) that Angel is a vampire. They didn’t confirm that until the fifth episode of Buffy. 6. They seem okay with added domestic violence or sexual abuse (i.e. rape scenes) which would also contradict previous depictions of some characters' personalities but will complain if and implied gay character gets to kiss on camera or a woman character gets to do something assertive that she didn't do in the source material and does not contradict any character personality trait. 7. They will argue that something "Is not canon" unless the author put in the original story even if the author confirms it after the fact and can prove where they hinted at (though didn't confirm) the thing in the original content. i.e. J. K. Rowling confirming that Dumbledore is gay.

I understand LGBTQ+ people being angry at this (and far worse things J. K. Rowling has done...) because she should have been brave enough to address it in the story itself but I'm speaking of those that refuse to accept that Dumbledore is gay and will even argue that if they accept he's gay it means Voldemort is gay too and they're all suddenly ped0s. I kid you not, I had to remove someone who went on this very rant from my Sandman Facebook group. This is also true with the elderly lesbian couple in Coraline. There are people angry that Neil Gaiman didn't out-right call them a couple in the story even though there were several pretty blatant hints. But at least with that one there are less people insisting it's not really canon. Probably because they DO behave like an old Hollywood / Vaudeville gay couple.

8. They seem okay with added content that wasn't in the novel until or if a woman or minority gets to shine in the extra portion of story. This can be in regard to a passing-of-the-torch or just a scene that was not in the original books but added to enhance the original story. Somehow this might upset them greatly even if the added content dos not contradict any of the original books. It's just an added bit of story. The only reason I could think of to be upset at an added scene is if that scene suddenly and drastically contradicts the character's established personality. i.e. a scene of Morpheus in Neil Gaiman's The Sandman opening a dance club and favoring Gangsta rap. Thankfully this particular scenario does not exist. 9. They kind of accidentally out themselves as having not read the books that they claim they want to keep pure by whining about "woke" content that was IN the original story. i.e. Sandman fans surprised at all the LGBTQ+ characters. 10. They out themselves as having not watched the thing that they are complaining about. "I refuse to watch The Sandman because I heard that the only character Death is a black woman." Buddy, you misunderstood. The Grim Reaper is played by a black woman. There are lots of white people who die. Or "I don't understand The Witcher: Blood Origin. It doesn't make sense. Geralt wasn't born a Witcher. They're sterile!" Yes... They are. Do I need to explain the plot of the show you decided not to watch even though there are Wikias? It does tell a story that doesn't exist in the books but you seem to have leapt to conclusions by the name alone. These sort of Book Purists (Book Puritans) make me embarrassed for appreciating and wanting the integrity of characterization and story from the original books (in adaptations) kept in tact. It's reached a point where if I complain that Lestat shouldn't be physically abusive to Louis in Interview with The vampire (TV series) and they should never have added a random scene of Claudia being raped by a teenage vampire - someone else will give the kneejerk reaction "You just don't like it because Louis is black now!" Actually I think the Louis and Lestat actors are excellent. It's the writers and showrunner I don't like. I want to be able to explain the parts of the story and character I care about and want preserved without people assuming I'm doing a bigoted dog whistle because of this newer version of book purist. These book puritans are giving us actual book lovers a bad name. End of rant.

David was hesitant about her at first. He was never much of a dog person, or an animal person, really, but his husband locked eyes with Daffodil at a pet adoption booth they passed during their last trip to a farmers market and, well, that was that. One look at Patrick’s face and David knew they had to bring her home.

Daffodil was a sweet, middle-aged pup who slept a lot and enjoyed watching Bravo. It wasn’t long before she worked her way into David’s heart. He liked her soft brown eyes and the way she never tried to chew any of his clothing. Over time, he grew to truly love her, which still surprises him sometimes.

After dinner one night, David starts the dishwasher, wipes down the counter, and turns off the kitchen light. Then he heads into the living room with every intention of sliding onto his husband’s lap and not moving again until they are both very, very satisfied.

However all that changes when he enters the room to find himself literally clockblocked by their dog, who is curled up on Patrick’s lap on their oversized couch.

David feels an initial rush of annoyance at the situation. He knows he does not adjust well when something throws a wrench in his plans, and tries not to feel resentful toward a dog who has literally done nothing wrong, but he can’t help it. And, despite his best efforts, he never learned to hide his emotions. At least, not with his husband.

Patrick watches him for a moment, and a teasing smile spreads across his face.

“Something wrong, David?”

David points to the pup, “she’s in my spot,” he grumbles.

Patrick suppresses a laugh, “I think right now it’s her spot.”

“Yeah, but I was here first. I have seniority.”

“You have seniority with my lap?”

“With sitting on it, yes”

Patrick does laugh at this. But only a little, “David, are you…. Are you jealous of a dog?”

“No,” he says petulantly, “I just had very specific plans for this evening, and this,” he waved his hand over Patrick’s lap, “is not a part of them.”

Patrick raises his arm and David can’t help but smile, however briefly, at the look on his husband's face. Even after six years together, Patrick’s smile still makes David’s heart flip over.

Instead of straddling him, like David wanted to do, he takes a spot right next to Patrick on the couch. He curls his body in close and they shift around a little, careful not to stir their little angel, and Patrick accepts the kiss David gives him.

A kiss is not enough though. It’s never enough, with this man. David gets a hand around Patrick’s neck and leans his body in as close as he can get. The angle is awkward and his neck complains about it, but David doesn’t give a shit.

After only a minute, Patrick pulls back, panting slightly, and David’s groan of frustration dies in his throat when he watches his husband carefully lift their pup off his lap and place her gently on her bed in the corner. He takes a moment to adjust her blanket and hastens back to David, pressing him back into the couch. David lays down and Patrick’s body sinks down on top of his and it’s everything everything everything.

“Tell me more”: The Grabber x gn reader

GOOD LORD I HAVE SUCH BAD BRAIN ROT FROM ETHAN HAWKE! I’ve needed to write literally anything about this man for such a long time and I think I finally found a perfect thing to do it with. I posted about this before but like I write poems and little horror stories on the side and i have them in a journal so that’s where this idea came from. Also thank you to the person who suggested I use Misery by Stephan King as insporation. I’m reading it right now and it’s keeping me on edge. I would talk more about fun facts about it but this is getting really fucking long so I hope y’all enjoy.

You were walking home from the library, a place you often went to work on your writing when you spotted a man who needed help unlocking his van. You don’t remember much but you remember how strong he was and the cold bitter taste of whatever he sprayed in your mouth. Since there’s nothing else to do you’re trying to sleep again when you hear the unlocking of the door. You sit up on the bed as he walks in. You find he’s holding your journal and a pen in one of his hands. “Hello dove. I’ve had an interesting time reading your writing.” You blink. Processing what he’s telling you. 

“You read my journal.” You ask the obvious question in this situation. With others soon popping up into you mind ‘How much did he read? Why would he read it? What is he going to do about it now?’ He nods. 

“I love your stories, and your poems. Although I do enjoy the horror of your stories, your poems are so sad. The one called ‘Lingers’ really shook me up.“ His tone is oddly cheery. He shuts the door and approches you. You move back on the mattress while he stands closer now. 

“My poems are very personal. I don’t show them to anyone.” You focus your eyes on the soft flexing of his hand holding the pen and journal. He’s wearing the smiling mask, but only the bottom, you can’t handle looking him in the eye. Not after he read so many personal things about you, even if they were coded in poetry. 

“Well I understand that, they are very personal I can tell,” He crouches down and sets down the pen. He opens the journal and flips through a few pages, “I love the story about Trudy. How did you come up with that idea?” He looks from the journal to you. He seems genuine. Not like he’s trying to scare you but like he wants to really know more. 

“Well Trudy is a lonely girl. Often ditched by friends and ignored by family. This is a strong theme on her birthday because everyone seems to forget it. So to ensure she would have the perfect sweet 16 she kills her friends and family and props them up for her party.” You explain. He grabs the pen and stands back up and walks to the side of the mattress. He sits close to you the journal still open. 

“But why would she kill them?” He asks. 

“Well she was never truly loved by anyone. She never really felt comfort from friends or family. She took to hitting her head harshly on hard objects as a form of self harm. Those two things really shook her up. She knew she would never find comfort in life, so she found comfort in death.” He nods. You know you shouldn’t but you find yourself wanting to tell him more. He wants to listen to your stories, he wants to know more about them. 

“What does she look like?” He asks. 

“I picture her as having olive skin and big brown eyes. She has long black hair she keeps in a braid and she wears a lot of sweaters and skirts.” He hums and looks back down at your journal, flipping through a few pages. 

“Now Barbra is implied to be possesed by something that first but her dog right?” You nod. 

“Well what did bite her dog first? Was it an animal? A zombie? An alien?” He tilts his head a little as he asks this. You find it easier now to look him in the eye. 

“I imagine there’s this monster that lives in the woods, something very dark and hidden. It took Barbra’s father but her mother missed the signs it took her daughter too. The monster first takes something from that persons life and infects it, usually with a bite. Then it transfers that venom from the bite to the new host, this case being Barbra. It slowly deforms the host and turns them into something like itself. Something with long contorted limbs and slimy skin. I have lots of fun writing these.” 

“I really like your writing. But I want to know what ‘stolen’ is about.” He hands you your journal on the page with that poem on it. The slight wave of peace drains out of you when you look back at that poem. You feel tears begin to form in the back of your eyes. 

“It’s uh about my past relationships. They weren’t the best.” You shut your journal and look back up at him. His eyes are down and he’s focused on the closed journal. When he looks back up at you there’s something in his eyes. You can’t tell what it is exactly. 

“I don’t want to hurt you,” He places his hand on yours, “I promise I don’t,” You nod. “Well I have a fun idea. I want you to keep writing then you can read it to me.”

“Really?” He nods. 

“Thank you for my journal back. Do you want me to write anything specific?” He thinks for a moment looking down at the pen. You shift in the silence that echos in the room while you wait. Eventually he looks back up at you with wide pupils, leaving small blue rings around them.

“I like the childhood horror theme from Trudy and Barbra’s stories. Write something like that again.” He hands you the pen and stands back up. He leaves you in the basement alone again, but this time, you have something to do. A reason to be here with him.

I've been obsessed with this idea, and I just need to get it out.

Imagine a love story blossoming slowly between a pair of people whose worlds are so different but complement each other so well. A Florist and an Executioner. One whose job resides in bringing life into the world, while the other is forced to take it. Buuut~ They're both interested/obsessed in the opposite.

The Florist, a young spunky girl with bright orange hair has thought about death all her life, about how it will greet itself to her and when. Death has been a looming thought for her, as she was almost taken when she was but an infant due to her being born without her left leg. Her Father refused to rid of her and instead fashioned her a prosthetic and a wheelchair, taking great care of her. But the world has always reminded her of her disability, of how she was lucky to be alive.

And the Executioner, a tall brooding prisoner who took another man's life out of defense but sent to prison, given a second chance as life by embracing death, to be permanently branded as a murderer, both literally and figuratively. But he longs after life, finding himself fascinated and calmed by taking care of flowers and aiding injured animals, he surrounds himself with life to forget the blood that stains his hands.

They meet in the darkness, the only time the Executioner can wander the streets without being harassed. The lock eyes as he asks for flowers in the Florist's quaint shop, his voice quiet as he doesn't want to frighten her. But she can't stop staring, encapsulated by this man who embodied the very thing she was grossly obsessed with. And the same was of him as he looked at her.

This exchange goes on for a while, every month he pops into her shop in the dead of night, asking for a flower to plant in his garden. Bluebell, Sweet Woodruff, Hibiscus, Calla Lilly, White Camella, Pink Camella, then Red Camella. The Florist wasn't blind to language of Flowers and thought of a way reply to The Executioner.

The Executioner wakes one spring morning, the sun bright and warm as he steps outside into his garden, wiping the sleep from his eyes. He couldn't help but smile as he looked over the vast array of flowers he had planted, the image of the Florist coming to mind, which saddened him. He turned to look at the road to town where he froze, spotting The Florist standing there with her hair freshly combed, blowing slightly in the morning breeze, a dainty smile on her porcelain face. And in her hands, White Camilla's, Carnations, and Gardenia's. They stand there in silence, a singsong laugh interrupting the quiet as the Florist speaks, "Penelope." She says soft, The Executioner swallowing hard as he cracks a soft smile, speaking every so softly, "Matthew.."

Shannon: Hi Pocket, I was re-reading the new Marvin and Jackie fanfic and I just remembered that Jackie's birthday was last week and Marvin's is coming up soon. Hard to believe that both of them have been around for 7 years. Anyway, if you don't mind me asking, I was wondering do you have any tickle headcannons for Jackie, like what he's like as a lee and/or ler.

Lee!Jackieboy Man:

-very much a tough man who will crumble if someone tickles him.

-He’s used to hard blows and hits to his middle and back. But really soft touches?! That barely ever happens! It catches him off guard very often.

-Usually superhero’s are good at hiding their weaknesses. But…you so much as touch Jackie’s side, he will turn into a giggly mess. He sucks at hiding how ticklish he is.

-Everyone was surprised when they found out Jackie was ticklish. But they grew to rather love this side of Jackie!

-If Jackie wants tickles, he will usually start tickling the person first, and won’t protest when the person tickles him back. In fact, he has been known to give up the upper hand if the person tickles him back. And when his friends ask why he will give up the upper hand, Jackie reacts playfully by saying “I gotta be humble once in a while…” or “I don’t feel like making you cry because you lost”. And of course…his answer always earns him more tickles.

-his red suit is AWFUL at covering up his ticklish spots during battle, which kinda sucks…he’s hoping to get an upgrade, but that costs a lot of money. And let’s face it: he’s not really being paid for saving the day.

-The main spots to go for on Jackie, are his armpits, sides and neck.

-There was one time when a little girl thought it would be funny to tickle Jackie while she was hugging him. Jackie let out a few laughs of surprise before getting out of the hug with an awkward laugh. “Gotcha!” She declared with an evil giggle, before running back to her mom with a proud look on her face. Though Jackie laughs at it now, he had to be honest about the nervousness he felt after that little moment. He now had to hope and pray that the both the girl and the mom were good at keeping secrets…And that no cameras caught his little reaction.

Ler!Jackieboy Man

-The dude doesn’t really see tickling as a fighting tactic, unless literally nothing else works on the villain. He prefers to treat tickling like a bonding experience for friends, rather than a combat tactic in battle. Plus if he ever used tickling…the villain may end up finding out about Jackie’s ticklishness and use it against him too.

-He rather enjoys tickling his close friends. He will use his flying powers to his advantage and poke them while flying upside down. One of his favorite things to do is lift his friends a couple feet off the ground and tickle them…though depending on which of his friends are scared of heights, he will make sure their face is facing the ground, or facing Jackie. Though he does occasionally start the tickle fights, Jackie prefers only tickling them when his friends tease or tickle him first.

-Jackie never tickles strangers or children for fear of pushing boundaries and causing unneeded controversy. Though he does allow high fives, fist bumps and hugs when kids want them.

-Though, there was one time at a kids festival, when a child gave him his stuffed animal, and Jackie voiced the little stuffy before making it nibble and tickle the kid’s neck a few times. The kid absolutely loved the playfulness, and did the same thing right back to him when Jackie gave him the stuffy back. Jackie’s heart leaped and filled to the brim with love when the kid hugged him afterwards. Next thing he knew, a picture of Jackie with the kid and the stuffed animal, had showed up in the local newspaper with the caption “Jackieboy Man Plays With Stuffy While at The Family Day Festival”.

-Jackie has always loved being playful and silly. He’s not afraid to let the childish side of himself come out. And that’s part of what makes him such a special superhero. He’s always knows when he’s allowed to be goofy, and when he has to be serious.

So…Jackie’s very much a switch.

- they’re both hellbent on protecting their own freedom and doing any means necessary to crystallize that since they weren’t in control of their own lives for the vast majority of it. they’re both willing to fight tooth and nail to maintain control and power as to not feel weakness again. they refuse to repeat the past and that determination can be used violently. power couple but literally

- the biggest flirts. will nonstop flirt with each other. awful advance during the WORST times. the party hates it. they thrive off of their disgust. but they’re also poetically romantic, it’s like an actual Dracula novella or some phantom of the opera shit. - he loves monsters and has a soft spot for them. he’d accept her eldritch beast and call her beautiful. he’d embrace the ‘monster’ and hold her so tight that she’d momentarily forget she’s even a beast under that humanoid disguise. perhaps she starts to accept that part of herself instead of loathe it because of him. she reassures him he’s still beautiful and not a monster himself. she’ll embrace him and rock back and forth and spend eternity whispering how much she cherishes him, how she wishes to show him how beautiful he truly is and it’s okay if this world can’t handle them as vampire spawns because they have one another ugh

- she’s cautious about letting him hold her rats though. he does feed on animals and rats. though he’d most likely find feeding off of rats unappetizing now due to being forced to only eat them when cazador had him. they now sit on his shoulder and while she’s not looking he’ll scare the shit out of them by baring his fangs and pretending to chomp at them because he’s a dick

My name is Claudia, I'm a she/her, Sagittarius, INFP and heterosexual.

I'm 18 years old, I'm 168 cm, I have a slim body with a small chest but with big thighs/ass, I have a really long straight chestnut coloured hair that surpasses my ass, I have dark brown eyes, I'm pale and I also wear glasses. I normally wear jeans with hoodies or something more sporty/ tomboyish.

I'm an introvert person, who is always quite but I will get talkative if it is about a topic of interest and/or I'm comfortable with said person. I don't really interact with other people, since I get really exhausted in a short period of time, or |just prefer to stay alone and daydream all day. I don't really have friends, and that's because I'm really quiet and I don't find anything in common or feel an attachment with the people around me. But also it's hard for me to be around new people since I have trust issues which more probably developed from being bullied and harassed in the past. I'm the type of person who is introverted around people but extroverted when home alone or with very close persons. I'm also the quit kid type of person - I may be always calm, but if triggered I become savage. Aside from all this quit type of personality, I'm also ambitious, clever, creative, curious, naive, empathetic and kind (I think).

I really, really love kny - it's my favourite anime and the only thing that preoccupies my mind 24/24. I'm also very interested in history (anything to do with it: culture, dress code, combat, wars etc)- especially about medieval history - so I really love it when there's a medieval festival around and so I can dress up in a medieval dress. I also really like swords. I used to watch a lot of "Forged in fire" and I wish I could also forge swords. I also love nature and animals and to travel around the world.

In my free time, I like to watch anime, listen to music, draw, read fanfictions and play sports. Since I'm a student who studies architecture, I would like to be an architect or work in any art domain - preferably If i could conserve old matrimonial buildings because i love the old architectural styles and it would be a shame if those old buildings would disappear.

As for my love language, I have no idea what it would be. I just want to be appreciated, especially by the person who I love, and to have nice moments with them when i feel lonely.

My ideal date would be some kind of a festival - it would be the only time that I feel comfortable around crowds- or somewhere quiet and calm with a nice scenery/ atmosphere.

About music - I mostly like metal and anime intros/outros type of music. As for my favourite songs : it's kind of hard to say, since I almost change them weekly, but for the moment it would be "The Rumbling" from AOT (I haven't watched the anime - I like this song because it's very metal) and "Middle of the night" sped up version, because it's very melancholic.

Hopefully these answers aren't too cliche. ;)

#1 - Nightcrawler

What can I say? Even thought Batman was my introduction to superhero comics way back in the 90's, it wasn't long before my friend started introducing me to X-Men and Excalibur. She was really into Kitty Pryde but I immediately fell in love with this blue dude. (Thankfully they appeared in a lot of comics side by side so she had lots of books for me to read.) I had a pirate phase because of this guy. I watched a lot of Errol Flynn. I have Flaming Carrot comics on my shelf because of that one time he had a FC t-shirt in one scene. He's my rotten soldier, hes my sweet cheese, my good-time boy.

#2 - Honey Badger (Gabby Kinney)

Maybe the only Marvel comic book gal I've ever cosplayed? She's just... fun. I appreciate that even at her young age, she's really been through it. As a clone "granddaughter" of Wolverine, she's got that tragic backstory down pat, but she looked at all that trauma, and how Logan and Laura responded to it, said, "nah" and went on about her life caring about animals and being besties with Deadpool. There's probably a metaphor in there about generational trauma or something, but needless to say, I'm just glad there's a superhero girl out there who wears pants and looks and acts her age.

#3 Spider-Man (all of them)

I know, everyone is so surprised. The most popular superhero in the whole world. XD As a middle schooler, I lived on a steady diet of Gargoyles and the Spider-Man animated series, both of which introduced a lot of (dubious) scientific concepts before my science class got anywhere close to talking about stuff like genetics or cloning. I know Peter Parker is written to be this supposedly relatable everyman, so it's not hard to project on to him, but that means there's a lot of *there* there. I think Spider-Man is also one of the heroes who best understands his position as a symbol. Other characters go about their super-lives, making choices that they think are right, but in the back of his head, I think Spidey is always aware of the fact that kids look up to him, and that holds him to a stricter code than a lot of heroes. He walks this razor thin line and is stressed out about it all the time, and that's what the kids call a complete mood.

#4 Foggy Nelson

Putting up with Matt Murdock's crap is a super-power, actually.

No, but seriously. I LOVE a best friend type (see also: Nightcrawler) who provides that pragmatic (but not gloomy) perspective that other "more exciting" hero types need. They're not just there for comic relief, or so bad things can happen to them when shit goes down, they're essential, and Foggy performs his role admirably in basically every incarnation.

#5 The Bowler (Mystery Men)

Shut up, I'm putting a Mystery Men entry on here because that movie kicks ass and more people should watch it. I was vaguely aware of this movie when it came out (because of my aforementioned interest in Flaming Carrot comics) but I wasn't in a position to go out and see it. A few years later I picked it out of a bargain bin and it rocked my socks off. Mystery Men's greatest crime is being ahead of its time. It's a pastiche that came out before the world was oversaturated with big budget super-flix. And the Bowler is easily best of the bunch. I have a soft spot for Janeane Garofalo who brings the exact energy this role needs. I love her for being a competent hero who is still flawed and has her own shit going on, and I love that she's just... a woman out there doing her best... FOR REVENGE. I painstakingly made her costume for Halloween one year and literally nobody got it and actually I do not care, it's dope.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?

i usually come up with the name or personality/backstory concept first but for most of my gw2 ocs everything started from appearance :D except for one, i think? i've recently made a new plant boy and haven't shown him here yet but he started with the "i want him to be puss in boots inspired and also wear a hat" concept and only then appearance and name, as i struggled with both

3. How did you choose their name?

fantasy name generator/behind the name + "yeah this sounds pretty oh fuck its taken"

exception: naohiro. his surname, fetch, was suggested by my gf and actually has a reference to irish mythology and mayhaps i can say eina astera is an exception too. i struggled with choosing her name and just made almost first what came up to my mind. and thought it would be fun to give her surname like the copy from human tradition

pheanois: tyria's freedom of movement, maybe? :D he's literally an adventurer mostly

noereen: the revenant lore. i love mists, i love their story flexibility, i love legends concept and their connections with, um, hosts. noereen has a long and quite tragic story tied tightly to her profession; she roamed through mists for years, suffered from mallyx influence and her life as a revenant is mostly a test of her willpower

caeinthe: wyld hunts! i adore this element. basically, cae is a failed valiant, she fucked up her hunt and that made her life a menace

naohiro: problems of human society in tyria, i think. bro was a thug rebelling against the queen and nobility (not a separatist tho)

eina: none for now, she's mostly a draft of a character, though some details are closely connected with wyld hunt (she's a valiant) and mesmer's lore/mechanics(?), as she's a duelist in some kind. also i know elona and kralkatorrik play big part in her story

pheanois: he had a love triangle back in the days that is based on fukin last shadow puppets music videos. and it turned catastrophically bisexual and homoerotic

noereen: she was bit in the side in mists by a monster and this nearly killed her but she survived and now thinks she has a cool scar. also i love the fact that she has been a menace most of the time but finally got therapy

caeinthe: despite being an asocial disaster, she has a friend, an inquest. and this friend released her from the jail in the grove though she absolutely didn't mind being there lmao

naohiro: he has a lot of soft spots! he's a tough man, strict and disciplined and a fukin assassin BUT also very affectionate towards kids and animals, can deal with them perfectly and isn't afraid to show them love

Things I'm realizing while playing FNAF SB on the PS4

All the people who die before the daycare are literally so impatient. It's... Not hard to avoid Chica there.

There's a sun plushy in the fountain!!! I love it and I'm going to get moon's.

The daycare is soft lock hell. I kept distracting sun to go exploring, and you know that circle of blocks shaped like a castle off to the left? Don't fall in there. You can not get out.

Also, I never got to see the crying animation! If sun couldn't find me, he wouldn't even look around. He'd just stand near the blocks and sway. Then, the second I step into a spot he can reach, he runs straight towards me. But if I take a single step back into it, he turns around and goes back.

Moon man. He was... Fine?? I mean. I only saw him once. After I got 3 generators and he went inside, I saw him a level below me in the play structure. Then I got the other 2 like immediately. His section was so short for me.

Leaving was kinda funny. Sun just doesn't appear until you click the button, so you can explore then too. Then I got into Freddy and the second I got to that turnstile, I got kicked out of him and died my first death. I don't count it because that was bullshit.

Couldn't find salads and slides, but I looked and the mission said "below the first floor" so I went down. All I saw was pizza until I noticed ice cream and kept walking that way.

Chica is supposed to interrupt you on the way to salads and slides? I dunno, I heard her voice. Was in the newly charged Freddy tho

I got past mini music man (fuck those vents btw, dark as shit and for why? My brightness is 100% you fucker) and then... There was a FNAF 2 poster? Why? Speaking of bad merchandise, why is there an ennard cut out and plushtrap things. That's so distasteful in universe.

These I was in that boiler room place or whatever, where chica is in there. I got past her (dying twice which I count as my first deaths) and she chased me into pizza bot mini game? Isn't that... Not when you're supposed to do that? I swear that comes later.

I do that shit (barely survived) and go into the kitchen but like... Aren't you supposed to use a party pass before you get there for the first time? Not to mention, the person I watched killed Chica but I swear he never went into the bathrooms. Sadly, I didn't have security level 3, and had to.

This leads into why I dislike Chica the most. She doesn't fucking shut up. If you have a character that shows up as much as Chica and says as much shit as Chica does, you have to give them a fuckton of dialogue to pick from. But now. She recycls the same 5-6 line a billion times and I will feel no goddamn remorse when I finally get to remove her voice box. Seriously, no wonder Gregory goes out of his way to push her in there. She's annoying as fuck /lh.

I don't even hate chica, she's always been interesting to me (a female character who's personality is all about eating and entertainment? Fuck yeah). She's just my least favorite in this game because she's always there and always talking. Followed by Roxy, who shows up less but says like 3 lines. Seriously. Give them more lines. Monty shows up the least and whenever he is there, you hardly even notice him because he's useless (ex: spotlight Monty during showtime. What does he do? Stands.) Monty also has a lot of voice lines, or he shows up so little that the same ones don't get beamed into my brain.

Anyway, I'm still trying to escape the kitchen area with Chica through the bathrooms so. Bye
