Alternate Next Gen (Friends): Leilani Soleil

Leilani is the daughter of Sun and Lillie. Due to being raised in a facility that cares for Pokemon, Leilani became interested in being a caretaker and would take care of the Pokemon in the Aether Foundation. When she heard that her cousin was going to the Kanto region, she went with him as she wanted to learn more about taking care of Pokemon. Leilani had met and became friends with Golda and pays close attention to what Golda does as a caretaker. Much like her mother, Leilani is polite, innocent and kindhearted and is always putting others before herself. Leilani is very shy around people she hasn’t met before, she’s trying to break out of that though. She cares deeply about Pokemon and always wants to care for them when they’re injured or if they’re needing comfort, she also enjoys studying Pokemon and always make note of their behaviors and takes notes if they behave differently than how she knows how they act and is always happy when she hears about Pokemon acting different than their species. She also enjoys relaxing activities such as taking pictures and writing in her diary, she often writes to her parents about what she does each day while she’s Kanto, anyone who reads what she writes are always amazed by how well she writes what she does during that day. Much like her father, she’s very good at saving money and often takes on odd jobs to save up for money, she wants to save up to buy a place where she can care for wild Pokemon. She doesn’t have an idea where to put it, but she’s still looking. 

Her Pokemon:

Alolan Vulpix- Leilani was given an Alolan Vulpix by her parents after Sun and Lillie noticed how Leilani would work with Ice types more than any other type. Leilani was happy to have her Vulpix and took great care of her until she left with Kunal to go to the Kanto region. Vulpix is a reserved Pokemon, she prefers to be with Leilani but she does warm up to others after she gets used to being around them which is one reason why she’s okay being near Golda and Kunal. Vulpix also gets along with other Ice type Pokemon and tries to get along with other types of Pokemon, she’s also trying to get used to warmer weather conditions. Vulpix is affectionate to Leilani and always cuddles against her and enjoys walking by her side or just being in her arms. Vulpix tries her best to help Leilani with being a caretaker and Leilani appreciates Vulpix’s help, even if she mostly just carries items that Leilani needs. Despite her small size, she does try her best to battle for Leilani and they do train together so she can get stronger.

Moves are Ice Shard, Aurora Beam, Extrasensory, Aurora Veil, Weather Ball, Moonblast, Aqua Tail, Blizzard, Round and Safeguard.

The rest of the game outfit designs.~

.:Aether Empress:. Lillie Mage / High Priestess More focused on support techniques. She has a few attack skills if she needs to defend herself. - Her outfit is based on Nihilego in a way. More feminine and “princess-ish” Her cape/cloak can be taken off.

.:Mane of Dusk:. Sol Stray Knight Focuses his skills mostly on attack and defence, trying his best to keep those balanced. As well as some charisma and luck, but they ain’t the main focus.His sword is based on Dusk Mane Necrozma. Keeping the “mane” as well as a few elements of the Necrozma aspect of the character. Literally the counterpart to Luna (Wings of Dawn.)

.:Tapu Guardian:. Hau Shaman / Rune Master Hau is focusing on his attack and agility, as well as his magic ability. Wanting to be somewhat an “all around” fighter, doing both support and attacks. His techniques are rune based, meaning he have to either chanter something of draw the “rune” to the specific skill to be used. Hau is using his fists and occasionally braces if he finds it necessary, going full close combat on his opponents. He definitely ain’t scared to get scratched up.

He’s married to Lillie, but then he learns about her brother who has a big chunk of inheritance cause he hasn’t run off to marry ‘beneath him’

He asks Gladion to be his partner cause Sun knows he’s really tired of the lifestyle he was forced to be in because of Lusamine

he hesitates, but then realizes he might actually need some excitment in his life

Sun goes out to find acts and gets people like Mallow, Lana, Illima, etc.

and OFC WE NEED OUR GIRL MOON

She’s going to be Ann, and we can just make her trapeze partner Hau

They’re best friends and grew up together 

SO THEN GLADION CAN JUST FALL IN LOVE WITH MOON AS SHE SWOOPS HER WAY INTO HIS HEART

and sun’s just happy making bank, until he wants to take over the bougie people theater….

and well I didn’t think after that cause I don’t know who I would make Jenny bUT LET’S JUST SAY EVERYONE ENDS UP HAPPY AFTER ALL THE SCANDALS AND DRAMA AND CLASSISM and the nEAR DEATh EXPERIENCES

We all know how much you like moon/gladion/hau, but what about sun/lillie?

YEEEEESSS I LOVE SUN/LILLIE THEY’RE SO CUTE

I pretty much ship everybody with everybody within that group with a few exceptions lol but yeah in that Morninggloryshipping fic I’m writing the secondary pairing is Lillie/Sun…they’re not present for most of the fic but they do show up occasionally and are mentioned every now and then by Gladion! (He’s a bit wary of Sun since he knows he has a thing for Lillie lol) Later on in the fic Sun and Lillie are traveling to other regions to help set up more branches for the Aether Foundation since Lillie is the President. Sun becomes super skilled at using the Pokefinder and ends up becoming a professional photographer with Rotom’s help! Also due to taking pictures of and studying Pokemon so much he’s really good at being able to tell what’s wrong with a Pokemon at first glance, so he sort of acts like a doctor as well

The story sort of splits up what happens between Sun and Moon regarding everything that occurs in game, I think I mentioned this before but yeah Sun is the one to help Lillie through most everything while Moon goes around with Hau doing the Island Trials. Sun and Lillie were both taken by Team Skull to Lusamine, so Gladion, Hau and Moon are the ones to break into Aether Paradise and rescue them…things like that!

Anyway long story short. Yes. It’s a good ship
