I like, wish Western aoex fans would take some time and research about how religion is in Japan. Especially how christianity is viewed and practiced there. Because it's a very different thing both culturally and base level than how things go in the west. Shintoism and Buddhism is an incredibly big part of Japan's culture, but it's not in the same way as how Christianity and other western religions are for the USA or other countries.
I mean it's cool to see people want to do things, but I don't think they realize that it's going to be a very different interpretation. I personally don't even think Shiro raised the twins christian. There's nothing in canon other than they grew up in the monastery to imply it. It felt more to me they started the place to have a good cover for the twins than it actually being a legit thing.
Heck it even looked like Shiro took the boys to shrines for new years. That's kind of a important part of Japanese culture and a big tradition. I personally don't think a catholic priest raising two kids would be taking them to a Shinto Shrine to do the New Years tradition.
It's also funny whenever this comes up because no one mentions Yukio in this. It's always Rin lol

I connected the entirety of OHSHC (anime dub) to the calendar :)
This took me too long <3
Alrighty! So what I'm gonna do first is show the calendar charts for when/if people come back to look at them and already understand what the mean, then I'm gonna specify what I mean by each day exactly by telling you the first scene of each day with time-codes under the cut (skipping the full day episodes because... duh), and then I'm gonna explain why (with sources)... It'll make sense if you read the whole post I promise.
So. On the calendar, the days will be listed as episode number and day number (E#:D#). These will be color-coded. Pink means that day definitely is that specific calendar date based on the information I have. Purple means we have some wiggle room. Green are national holidays (found on questionjapan.com and nippon.com).

E23:D2 - Kasanoda walks in during club hours and requests Haruhi (7:25)
Oh boy we made it to how you can fact check me!!! This is gonna be an entire brain-dump because I am dead
E1 - Aired 4/4/2006 (info found on imdb). Japanese school generally starts on Monday the second week of April (info found in an article from questionjapan.com), which was 4/3/2006, and various comments seem like it's early but not the first day, so we're setting the first day as the first airing to have a starting point!
E2 - It's still "early spring", the cherry blossoms are only buds, there's a slight sense of normalcy, the club has definitely been open for at least a week thanks to Kanako's shenanigans, and the party takes place in "one week", so the first day would have to be late in the week, likely the week of 4/10. Thanks to the fact that Haruhi's practice session with Kanako is directly the next day, the first one would have had to be Thursday, and the second would be Friday. The party could conceivably be the next Friday or Saturday, but I would really really hope it's Friday because Suzushima waits for Haruhi in his school uniform. Also Suzushima is going to England "next month" (May) which could technically be literally any day in the month...
E3 - So the cherry blossoms were blooming on the night of the party last episode, and they're still blooming for the flower-viewing reception. According to this article on japan-guide.com, after the cherry blossoms start legitimately blooming, you've got about a week. We're gonna assume the earlier the better considering the state they're in! On the day of the flower-viewing reception, physical exams are "the day after tomorrow". When they are back in the music room, Haruhi says "sorry I'm late guys" which means she wasn't with them, ergo it's a new day.
E4 - Renge arrives on the first day, crashes the club, and pronounces herself lady manager. She's transferring into class 1A "tomorrow" (which means two week days back-to-back), and then later she arrives to the club with cookies in her school uniform, so I assume that's the day she officially transferred. Renge has a crew flown in from LA to film the host club movie, which she doesn't have the idea for until she starts working on the hosts' characters. I used travelmath.com to calculate the flight time between Tokyo (as a major city in Japan) and LA, which came out to about a 12-hour flight, so we need a buffer day at least. The movie seems to be filmed on club time, so that's a week day, and then "several days later" the episode concludes, which could literally be anywhere between 4 and 9 days in colloquial terms.
E5 - I think it's pretty safe to say this takes place over three consecutive days just on how the episode is presented (one day fight and make-up). This definitely has to happen after the conclusion of the last episode thanks to Renge.
E6 - Ok ok ok ok ok so: most of the shenanigans have to take place over three days. Shiro greets the club on a costumed club day, he observes them on a non-costumed club day, and he goes back to the club... which could conceivably be on the same day as the observation, except that the club appears to have just opened and the teacher gave the kids a new piece for the day. On that third day, Hina is supposed to move to Germany at the end of the week, so the recital is probably that Friday to give Shiro more time to practice. And now... the incident. There was a date on that invitation that we as the audience get to read. I got so excited!! A concrete date I could place this one on!! Except it's September 3rd fucking September 3rd why does is say September 3rd fuck you bones what the fuck is this shit
Anyway Shiro hosts "10 days later". Interestingly, not for the first time thanks to the comment "I thought [Tamaki] would make it through without exploding this time".
E7 - School day. Post the conclusion of the last episode because Honey "felt threatened last episode" and before the next because that one hinges on the conclusion of this one, but otherwise there's absolutely nothing tying this one down.
E8 - Sometime after episode 7 they decide to go to the beach, then presumably the next weekend they spend one night in Okinawa. Since this ends up falling on the week of the twins' birthdays, I absolutely refuse to believe any of these days happen on June 9th because... come on. Do you think the twins would ever keep their mouths shut about their birthday???
E9 - This starts no later than Thursday due to the fact that the cultural expo lasts two days back-to-back (explicitly labeled). Of course, this is assuming Ouran has a five-day week, as many things on the calendar do, thanks to that same article from questionjapan.com I mentioned earlier.
E10 - It takes place over one day on a Sunday, thanks to Haruhi rejoicing that "there's no better time to hit the supermarket than a Sunday morning"
E11 - Kirimi shows up, the practice in the science room happens two days later because Haruhi says "she's made me read about fifty volumes of shojo manga over the last three days" (Kirimi's arrival, the day before, the day she says that). "Several days later" the hosts see Nekozawa hiding again.
E12 - Genuinely what the fuck why is Honey's toothache only three days long they definitely take longer than that sir??? Anyway it's explicitly in the title so three days it is! The bunny incident definitely happens the same day as the discovery of Honey's toothache (referenced as "earlier").
E13 - I don't know man the actual awake day happens for like a minute and a half. Week day??? If the entire episode was just a nebulous dream I probably wouldn't have even counted it on the timeline lol.
E14 - First of all, the newspaper club's story on the host club is supposed to be the very last story of the semester, so it's gotta be real close to the start of summer vacation. The first day is near the end of the week ("how many copies did we sell this week"), and the second day is the very next one ("tomorrow").
E15 - Explicitly stated by the twins, it starts three days into summer vacation, or 7/23/2006!! Japan's summer vacation starts on the 20th (found traveltips.usatoday.com and that same questionjapan.com article). Obviously, when Kaoru wakes up on the floor would be the very next day, or 7/24/2006.
E16 - Starts on the same day as the last episode (7/24/2006), Haruhi's date is "tomorrow" (7/25/2006), and the conclusion would be "the next day".
E17 - TAMAKI'S EXPO FLYER SAYS 8/27-8/31!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THIS IS THE KIND OF SHIT I WANTED FROM HINA'S STUPID INVATATION THANK YOU ANIMATORS FOR THIS CRUMB OF EASE. It's also the last day of summer vacation which would be the week of the 31st!! I can't guarantee which day of the week it would be though, because I would assume school starts up again on Monday, but I could be wrong? It doesn't make any fuckin sense to start school again on a Friday that year but hey man I don't make the rules.
E18 - Who even fuckin knows man. One school day, but there's literally weeks of unused space in the time slot this could fit so like close your eyes and pick a date :')
E19 - Singular day on the weekend. If I had to guess, it would be Sunday (just because Haruhi was planning to go to the supermarket), but no promises. Probably September.
E20 - I didn't include it on the calendar because it literally does not matter. The entire episode is a flashback, there's not a singular moment that takes place at the time of the rest of the anime <3
E21 - Starts the week before Halloween (10/23/2006). Final exams (2-3 days according to this Q&A that I picked and chose from) are almost happening, because clubs generally aren't in session during exam days. Haruhi and the twins skip on the club to help 1A plan, which means it's the same day. The tournament is explicitly stated to happen on Halloween night. The ending is... sometime soon after that?
E22 - Spread over two days: like Renge in the fourth episode, Kasanoda shows up while a costumed club day is in session, but sticks around after that. They're one after the other ("yesterday").
E23 - This obviously starts on the same day as the end of the last episode. Kasanoda refuses to eat dinner "again", but I can't guarantee that this is connected to Haruhi? I don't know, the language around her is all muddled, dude. It seems like it was originally intended to be on the exact same day as the start of the episode, because when Tetsuya talks about how he saw Kasanoda and Haruhi together, the sub says "today" (the scene wasn't in the manga so I couldn't check that :/ ), but the dub says "all the time". For why. Anyway, it seems like he visits as a guest the very next day but I don't have a direct quote for that one. This episode's timeframe is probably the most mindfucky out of the entire show T - T
Then in the conclusion it seems like it was supposed to be the same day but I can't guarantee it and also the roses are in full bloom in fucking November???? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Literally just put these episodes before the Halloween one literally just put them in September/early October literally all you had to do was air these episodes before Halloween and not reference the pumpkin carriage metaphor I fucking know you guys could do it you rearranged a whole bunch of other shit from the manga timeline why would you do this to me fuck you fuck you fuck youuuu
Also technically according to this article the roses could be blooming if they were in the very very very south of Japan but also that would have literally meant that the cherry blossoms would have been in full bloom in mid-March <3
E24 - Literally it's cold enough for falling leaves and kotatsu tables the very next episode FUCk you bones anyway it's one school day
E25 - The super super fun thing about this is that I could have placed the cultural festival on the weekend it's SUPPOSED to be on (gainjinpot.com and questionjapan.com) if literally just the Kasanoda episodes had come out before the Halloween episode <3 I am a ball of pure fury. Anyway, it starts the morning of and continues to sunset. We're gonna assume its Friday based on the next episode.
E26 - So this is day two of the cultural festival, or the "main fair". Since the festival is generally a one-day event held on Saturdays and this one is supposed to be the main one, we're gonna put this one on Saturday.
OH MY GOD I FUCKIN DID IT!!!!!!!

Anime-Manga Comparisons, episode 13.
Oh boy, the Wonderland episode! Honestly, it’d be easier to write about the similarities between these two episodes rather than the differences, since these two episodes are so incredibly different. But both are actually pretty great in their own special ways, I just find it interesting and confusing why the anime decided to completely change the story.
For starters, in the manga it’s made clear from the beginning that the whole thing is just the hosts playing around. It starts off with the hosts breaking the fourth wall to explain that the theme was requested to them, and that the author wagered it’d be a safe choice since there are so many characters. Tamaki and the twins are excited to see Haruhi in a frilly dress, and she bemoans how the outfit is cumbersome, so the twins take over the role of Alice instead, because Haru just isn’t curious enough to ever follow a rabbit down a hole.
On the other hand, the anime starts with middle school Haru and light brown haired Ranka going to the academy to enrol her, with plenty of establishing shots of the school, inside and out. The painting behind her shows a similar little girl chasing a pink bunny, and before the zoom in we even see Kotoko under the tree on the left. I never noticed that before. It even looks like her appearance from the later Lobelia episode in her pink outfit. Ranka worries about her enjoying herself at Ouran, which is the overarching theme of this episode.
The manga and anime continue to be extremely different, as anime Haru chases Usa-chan as a living (living?) plush until he escapes via high powered motor, but the manga has the twins chasing White Rabbit Mistukuni (Mitsu-buni?) until he goes through a too small door and Nekozawa steps in as a mysterious merchant (who they point out was not a character) to give them a shrinking potion and offer them a Bereznoff puppet, Alice A (Hikaru) and Alice B (Kaoru) offer up Alice C (Tamaki) to drink it instead and then throw him to the wolves (The Roberia flowers) and abandon him.
Going back to the anime (Yeah, this is going to get very confusing, I foresee.) We see more callbacks to the earlier episodes, as Haruhi slips on a banana peel and falls into the hole left by the high powered motor and falls… into the same room to get her butt stuck in the vase. She then has to slither like a snail towards monkey Shiro (presumably the cause of all the bananas) to get help, and instead he eats a banana that causes him to shrink and runs off through a tiny door. Haruhi eats an entire bunch of five bananas, peels and all, and shrinks down, freeing herself from the vase, but not from the host club.
She then walks down a long, dark hallway, where we see the kanji for female in lightbulbs appear again, and then a final banana peel whisks her off to a long fall into a pool. I have Vietnam style flashbacks to the beach episode, and I think the overhead shot of her is meant to be a reference to her in the fountain looking for her wallet. The lack of music and focus on the water effects and the voices is actually pretty soothing. Haruhi and Kyoya both have very nice voices. Also Kyoya has very pretty lips.
I wonder if his warning about how Haruhi will be eaten in the pool isn’t strictly about the crocodiles, but rather about how so much grief can swallow you up. Maybe. Should I be analysing the silly homosexual supporting cast so much?
The roses would have been a nicer fit for the Lobelia girls (I’m using Lobelia as their anime names and Roberia as their manga names, aren’t I smart?) but I can’t deny it’s hilarious that they’re controlling robotic crocodiles rather than just being animals like the rest of the cast. Also hello to Kyoya in what is no doubt his silliest role of all time, and I’m including the live action drama in that.
It’s almost tragic that he looks like that, but honestly it’s still great, and it fits him. The manga just omits the caterpillar character altogether, which is weirder. In the original book the caterpillar is rude and and presented as mysterious and ambiguous, and in the movie he’s even more unhelpful and mean. In the anime Kyoya is presented as mysterious still, but Haruhi is aware of what he does, even if she can’t recall why. There’s ambiguity, but no sense of animosity between them. Also, Nekozawa becomes a baby and Kirimi becomes… ambiguously older. And bigger, in… certain areas. Kyoya forgoes the safety of a baby to flirt with a girl. Disaster bisexual at work. We'll return to him (or her) later.
Back to the manga and Tamaki-Alice. (Talice? Amaki?) he meets the Roberia roses, who are stunning and beautiful and I think I’d rather just stay here with them, but we must press on, unfortunately. Tamaki tells them he’s a man, and they call him a pervert for dressing up like that, which is rude! He looks great! And then they warn him about the black queen. Also they reveal Ranka is the red queen ahead of time, so there’s no big shock there. Even though the roses just attacked him, Tamaki is willing to save them from the black queen, until they show it’s Kyoya and Tamaki tries to chicken out because his gut tells him not to revolt. Finally everyone has had enough and they finally swap in Haruhi to play Alice’s role, and she looks so cute in that dress! So cute that the roses (Rose-beria? There’s so many puns to make here!) tell her to stay with them instead, but Haruhi goes off anyway. She’s not that interested in actually fighting the queen, but she’s true of heart and feels obliged to keep her promise, so she goes anyway. She meets up with some of the host club guests and Dr. Yabu from the physical exam episode to get information on how cruel the queen is, and finally to the well informed duchess, Renge! This is a similarity between the two, because she plays the exact same role in both and even dresses the same! The difference is that she’s going to court in the anime to be executed later, but Kyoya straight up sentences her to death in the manga with no court. Harsh, but fair. Hikaru also reappears here as her butler, and finally we see the biggest host of all: Mori! And he’s a very tiny baby named Moriko. Two guards come to take the duchess away, and her final cry for help to Haruhi is to gather a rescue team of gorgeous men to save her.
Ayanokoji appears here in the anime as a cook for Renge, but I’m not sure she ever reappears in the manga past her first appearance, I’d have to conduct a thorough investigation to be certain. She chucks a bunch of dishware at Renge, who is holding baby Nekozawa. Between her and Kyoya not giving a shit about babies, they should probably get together. Then again the baby turns into the curse doll, so maybe it’s fine he was in danger after all. I find it cute that Haruhi is still gentle with the doll and puts it down on a sofa before she leaves. She walks down another very long hallway while the twins bother her, but she’s quick to suss them out. They sound exactly alike in Japanese, but I don’t know if they do in the English dub. We also see Kanako dressed as a bird, floating in a teacup while staring wistfully into the sky and hoping Toru will come back soon. This seemingly adds nothing, but I like it anyway.
Back in the manga, Haruhi-Alice (Harice?) takes baby Moriko with her (who she says is ‘kinda cute’) on her quest to rescue the duchess, and then she meets the Cheshire Twins. They’re wearing almost the same outfits in each, except the anime gives them sleeves on their shirts, a bandana, and oversized cat paws. They tell Haruhi that they used to be a single person, until the queen split them in two after a prank. They also call the queen a grownup, which either means she’s actually an adult, or it’s a riff on Kyoya for being too mature for his age. Either works, really. Haruhi admits she’s starting to sympathise more with the queen. The twins try to get a reward for inviting themselves along on the adventure, but Mad Hatter Tamaki scolds them. Since Mistukuni is already playing the white rabbit, the march hare role instead goes to Shiro, but he’s called the May Rabbit instead… and he’s white. The twins call the hatter bogus and explain that he’s a fugitive who was jailed for performing some odd stage magic during a croquet game sponsored by the queen, but he broke out of jail. Tamaki offers to protect Haruhi and defeat the queen if she promises to marry him, which Kaoru points out is worse than them asking for money. Then the twins want to marry her.
Shiro then calls Moriko an ugly baby and causes him to cry. Shiro announces he’s going home while the others try to stop the crying, and Haruhi gives him a cookie from her pocket that causes him to grow into a man. A very naked man. The twins quickly clothe him, and he gives Haruhi a hug, and they all settle on whoever defeats the queen will secure Haru-Alice. She points out that there’s no more parallel and that it’s the old pattern remerging.
The anime scene is a little closer to the original, as Mad Hatter Tamaki and March Hare Honey announce there’s no room at the very long dining room table, or at any of the others. Haruhi, being who she is, simply accepts that and goes to leave until they demand she come back. They talk about her appearance, and Haruhi says it doesn’t matter whether she’s a girl or not, and then makes a callback to the last episode about his cavity, where Dormouse Mori wakes up to remind him to brush his teeth and then goes right back to sleep.
Mad Hatter Tamaki asks her a riddle about tuna, which isn’t really a riddle, and then yells at her when she gets it wrong, and the mannequin from the first beach episode returns, wearing the swimsuit Honey preferred, to offer wine. Hruhi points out it’s illegal for them to drink because they’re minors, and Tamaki and Honey say even though she’s not a very good Alice, she is pretty cute. The clocks strike three, and the hatter asks another riddle, how are he and her father similar?
He then asks her what else she’d do at Ouran, besides studying, and she’s confused by what else there is. And then we find out that the duchess is going to be executed.
Haruhi stands in as her lawyer, and a lot more presence is put onto the queen here. I wonder if this argument of a parent leaving their child for work was part of her own feelings, but she didn’t realise it. The king accuses her of breaking the vase, and Tamaki steps in to defend her, while also roasting the shit out of her for being boring. She then calls him by his name and the lights go up to reveal all the guests watching, and the other hosts appear and Ranka unmasks himself. He’s really happy to see her make ‘fine friends’. Until later on when he stands on Tamaki I guess, haha.
Of course, then we get the reveal that the queen is Kotoko, and for some reason it always makes me tear up. The clock chiming distantly as the dream fades out is sad.
And then we see the hosts dressed as their manga counterparts, which just makes me wish the black queen would step on me. I’d say enough about that, but now that the anime episode is over, it’s back to the manga, where black queen Kyoya is calling the team rats.
The team are immediately brought to the queen, to the dismay of Hikaru, who thought there’d be more action, and Kaoru bets it’s because they’re running out of pages. White rabbit Honey reappears with his double personality and dark mode, calling them vermin and telling them that if the queen had let him, he’d have finished them in an instant. The queen also justifies her executions and explains that everyone who’s caused trouble was also costing a lot of money, including the red queen. Haruhi feels the need to apologise for Ranka’s actions. Haruhi tells the queen that executions still aren’t right, and asks if she ever went to kindergarten (what kind of kindergarten teaches kids not to execute?) and the queen says no, she didn’t. The mad hatter then summons a giant griffon and it fights the black queen, and while that happens Haruhi finds a tiny Bereznoff eating a cookie in her pocket, and sends him to fight too. He grows large from the cookie, and presumably kills the queen? It’s not very clear. The last line explains that the queen and castle disappeared, and white rabbit Honey seems confused on where he goes, too. Nekozawa returns to become the White King, the Cheshire Twins, Mad Hatter, and White Rabbit argue over who’s going to marry Alice, only to turn around and find Alice is now Mori, and Haruhi wakes up from her dream to her mother Kyoya taking her home for dinner. The others are trapped in the dreamworld and Duchess Renge is still behind bars. Maybe the White King will save her, eh? Haha.
Episode 13… is a happy ending!

kei: There are things in the world that can't be measured by common sense.
One day, those things unexpectedly changed our lives.
This is a story of how those who lived in separate worlds came together as one through idols.
A story of fulfilling a promise made 10 years ago.
ranma: This is bad. This is really bad!
ranma: (My name is Ranma Fujisaki, and I work as the head of the accounting department at the Evol Talent Agency.
Although we call it an agency, the management is in the worst possible state due to a change in leadership two years ago. The former president's beloved son, no... It's all because of that damn son of his!)
ranma: President!
ijuin: Oh, Ran-chan! Yahoo~
ranma: I have something to tell you.
ijuin: What?
ranma: It's an important matter, so please listen seriously. Stop playing games and put your phone away!
ijuin: Geh, I was at a good part too~ It's probably just about money again.
ranma: That's right. Please take a look at this.
ijuin: Yes, yes, this is our sales figures. What about it?
ranma: At the moment, it’s showing a significant loss compared to last year.
ijuin: Waah, really?
ranma: Do you understand how serious this situation is?! We're on the brink of bankruptcy!
ijuin: That's true, yeah. But once it's happened, there's nothing we can do about it, right? Time can’t turn back.
ranma: Who do you think is responsible for this? It's the result of you spending the company's money as you please! At this rate, we'll definitely go under.
ijuin: Don't worry, don’t worry, it'll be fine~
ranma: ("We can still make it," says this idiot, the CEO of evol, Kaede Ijuin. He took over the reins of management from Sendai and as soon as he took charge, the company went belly up due to his reckless spending.)
ranma: How many employees do you think we have? Do you know how much we need every month just for personnel expenses? We have to take action quickly-
ijuin: Hey, we still have our top-sellers.
lui: Excuse me~
ranma: U... Usami-san...
lui: Fujisaki, good job.
ranma: Thank you for your hard work.
ranma: (This person is Usami Lui-san, a manager in the management department. He’s only 33 years old, but he’s a talented manager who is good at his job. He handles two of our company’s popular actors.)
ijuin: Usa-chan, hello. What's up?
lui: Something big happened, I need to report it.
ijuin: Hmm?
lui: Aoyagi Haruto and Hanamori Asuka want to quit the agency.
ijuin: Eh?
ranma: Wait a minute!! Aoyagi-san and Hanamori-san are our top two! It would be a problem if they quit!
ijuin: Hey, Usa-chan, you're their manager, right? Pay closer attention.
ranma: What’s the reason?
lui: They want to start their own agency because they don’t see a future here.
ranma: Gkh- How many does that make now?
lui: Like the eighth person?
ijuin: Geez, everyone is so cold! Who do they think made those amateurs into stars?
lui: It wasn't Kaede-san, it was Sendai who did everything.
ranma: That's right, you haven't done anything.
ijuin: Eh, really?
ranma: This idiot…
lui: Well, even if I stop those two from quitting, it’ll just cause trouble later on. I think we should respect their wishes.
ijuin: Yeah, that's true.
ranma: But if this continues, our agency…!
lui: Mm, honestly, it’ll be hard without Aoyagi and Hanamori. We've been living off their earnings lately.
ranma: What are we going to do, president? If things continue like this, we'll really be finished!
ijuin: Don't worry about that~ Who do you all think I am? I’m Kaede Ijuin-sama, you know. I've succeeded in plenty of businesses so far.
lui: Well, it's true that Kaede-san is a talented manager.
ranma: (As Usami-san said, this ridiculous man not only manages our office, but also many other companies. All of them have good performance, no, they are actually very successful.)
ranma: Then why are we the only ones in a deficit?!
lui: That's true. Why did this happen?
ijuin: Ehh? My dad said he wants me to try running an office too. When I became the president, I was like, “What's up with this company? We have so much money~!!”
ijuin: Entertainment is a game, right? It's like a fantasy, right?! So I thought I would try doing what I wanted!
ranma: As a result, we poured money into new ideas one after another, and this is the current situation.
lui: Kaede~san, this isn’t a game. It's a company.
ijuin: I know, I know. But I have a plan in case of an emergency, so it's okay… Well, I was thinking it's about time too.
ranma: A plan? Do you really have something like that?
ijuin: Nfufu. Want to hear it? Hey, wanna hear it?!
ranma: He's always so annoying.
lui: Come on, calm down, Fujisaki. So, what's the plan?
ijuin: Actually, I've been thinking about it for a while now. A major project to revive Evol.
lui: A major project?
ranma: What do you mean?
ijuin: Hehe, well, you see...this year, we’re going to debut a idol group from our company! Yay, applause!!
ranma: …I-Idol?
lui: From our company...?
ijuin: Yeah. What? No good?
ranma: Haa, wait a minute. If they're going to be idols, they'll definitely need singing and dance lessons. We'll have to hire a trainer, and one manager won't be enough. It will take money, time, and energy.
lui: And we’ll also need to hold auditions to choose the members.
ranma: Do you think our company has that kind of luxury right now?
ijuin: Hmm, then let’s make a idol group that doesn't cost any money.
ranma: Huh?
ijuin: We can just use what we already have.
lui: And what do we have?
ijuin: The members can be our employees. We won't hold auditions. I'll get a cheap singing and dance teacher from some people I know! Then we can start right away~
ranma: Our employees...? Employees!? Huh?! What are you talking about!? Being an idol requires not only good looks but also singing and dancing skills! Where do we have employees who can become idols!?
ijuin: Here! I have two right here~
both: Hm? Huh? Hah?! Us?!
ijuin: That's right!
lui: No, no, no, no.
ranma: That's obviously impossible! Are you insane?
ijuin: Haha, why not? First of all, Usa-chan has a cute idol-like look, so the age difference won't be a problem. And Ran-chan is the most handsome guy in our company, you know? I heard the female employees are forming a fan club behind the scenes.
ijuin: This is definitely going to sell. Yeah, it'll sell! Actually, I’m sorry I didn't realize it until now!
both: Ugh…
lui: Shit. Kaede-san is going too fast, I can't keep up.
ranma: How can someone like him be at the top? Someone... Someone tell me this is a dream.
ijuin: It's not a dream. It's reality. By the way, this is a order from work. So, don't choose to not do it, okay? Let’s work together!
lui: Um... I'll ask just in case, but are you serious?
ijuin: Yeah, I’m serious. Super serious.
ranma: Wait a minute! There's no way the two of us can handle this physically! Absolutely not!
ijuin: That’s true. We could use one more person actually~?
ranma: No, it's not a issue of numbers!
*knock knock*
kei: Excuse me! It's Goda Delivery! Ijuin-san! I brought what you asked for!
ijuin: Ah, thanks for your hard work! Just leave it there as usual.
kei: You got it!
ijuin: Sorry about that as always.
kei: Haha, nah, not at all! I'm happy to have you as a regular customer! *twinkle sfx*
ijuin: Haa… wait a minute. Got it.
both: Eh?
ijuin: Got it, got it, got it! An amazing talent is here!
kei: Eh? Huh? What's up? Me?
ijuin: Yes! It's you, it's you! I never noticed before, but when I look at you closely, you're incredibly cool! And your style is great! Mhm, mmm, with a cute face like that girls will like you! Hey, have you joined a agency?!
kei: Nah, I'm just a part-timer.
ijuin: Great! That's awesome! What's your name?
kei: Keisho Isumi.
ijuin: Keisho-kun! Do you have any interest in becoming an idol?
kei: Huh? Idol?
ranma: Hey, wait a minute, president! What are you thinking?!
lui: No, wait, Fujisaki! That kid really is unbelievably handsome.
ranma: A-Ah, yeah, that's true, but... But!
ijuin: How much do you make with this part-time job? If you become an idol with us, you can earn 10 times, no, 100 times more than that!
kei: 100!? Are you serious!?
ijuin: Yeah, yeah, let's make a promise! You're a once-in-a-millennium, no, once-in-a-ten-thousand-years talent. Those carefully chiseled facial features, that slender figure, perfect!
kei: Perfect... Me? Well, my looks get complimented a lot but, ha…
ijuin: I'm sorry for not noticing this raw talent before! Now, come with me on a new journey together! You're not meant to be just an ordinary person.
kei: I-I don't really get it but… if I can get that much money, I'll try it. It'll motivate me more than my part-time delivery job. Idols are popular with girls, right?!
ijuin: It's not just about being popular. You can get everything you want~
kei: Woah, seriously?! Making money and being popular, that's the best! Isn’t it awesome?! I'll do it!! I'll become an idol!
