When Jazz was really young, before Danny was born. She was often taken to the lab. She would learn and learn until she felt like she couldn't anymore.

It was only when Jazz was 10 years old that the radioactive ectoplasm spilled on her eyes. Rendering her blind.

Whereas Danny gained Ghost abilities, becoming a Halfa. Jazz gained a 2nd sight.

When they were off it was a pale blue hazy color. On; they glowed green allowing her to see above the heads of the living their time.

Their time to die, to live, to be reborn. She saw it all. She knew her brother was going to be a ghost, but she couldn't stop it. Not when it was predestined.

In order to escape her parents and Vlad's ugly attempts to take Danny away again, she went to the most disgusting, vile, darkest place. It was Lady Gotham, who welcomed the ghostling and the Seer to her city.
