[ID: Huge syntax tree for the sentence "California man [whose billionaire stepfather is on missing sub] asks OnlyFans model to sit on him 30 minutes after pleading for prayers, as he triggers war of words with Cardi B over Blink-182 concert". The tree is very broad and has many layers, indicating the amount of time, energy, and stress that must've gone into making it.]

you have such a fantastic sense of humor! your jokes always bring a smile to my face and it brightens up any conversation. your wit and cleverness make you such a fun person to be around.<3
Every device you have that connects to the internet will have one of three IP addresses, starting with either 10.x.x.x, 172.x.x.x, or 192.168.x.x. Very rarely you may see 169.25x.x.x, but that one means there’s a problem. This is called a private IP address and it gets handed out by your router. Whether you receive a Class A, B, or C address depends on the type of network you’re on. Your home network likely hands out Class C, a coffee shop hands out Class B, and depending on the size of your work organization, it may hand out a Class A.
Send another compliment so I can tell you more about IP addresses.

BLU G72 Max: A Budget-Friendly Smartphone with Impressive Features
Tumblr media
BLU, a US-based company, recently announced the launch of its latest smartphone, the BLU G72 Max. Despite not revealing the pricing or availability details yet, the specs of the device suggest that it will be a budget-friendly option.
The BLU G72 Max boasts a large 6.8-inch 90Hz IPS LCD panel with a 720 x 1600px resolution, making it a great choice for those who enjoy watching videos and browsing on their phone. It runs on a powerful MediaTek Helio G37 chipset.
The device offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage, which is a generous configuration compared to other devices in the same price range that typically offer 3GB/64 GB.
The camera setup on the BLU G72 Max is impressive for a budget phone, with a 13MP main camera and two additional unnamed sensors on the back, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front.
The device is powered by a massive 5,000 mAh battery, but without any mention of the charging speed. It ships with Android 12 out of the box, making it a great option for those who want the latest software on their phone.
In conclusion, the BLU G72 Max is an excellent option for those looking for a budget-friendly smartphone with impressive specs, including a large screen, a good camera setup, and the latest software.

I still think it's really cool how Amuro starts as the shittiest pilot alive (because he's a 15-year old) that only gets carried because he's in the biggest, fattest stat stick in-universe at the time (a few retroactive additions made in the future notwithstanding), enough that even its crappy vulcan guns are tearing Zaku IIs apart, and when he starts getting a bit too cocky, Char and Ramba Ral show up in objectively inferior pieces of junk and absolutely deliver his pizza, they just drag his face across every available surface in Planet Earth like he's a Yakuza mook, all because they are simply that much better at piloting, and the thing is, Amuro takes that very seriously.
He goes from shitass kid in an unfortunate situation that doesn't want to get in the robot to the most unwell child soldier in the war, which is really saying something, but most importantly, becomes so good at piloting the Gundam that the Gundam physically cannot handle Amuro's piloting. They need to apply "Magnetic Coating" to its joints so they don't fucking snap away from the main frame because Amuro, one, moves too damn well but also in too extreme a way for the frame to handle it, two, despite being equipped with two sabers, a shield, a beam rifle and vulcan guns, Amuro is a stern believer in introducing most everyone in thagomizer range to his Rated Z for Zeon hands, the single most official pair of hands in the business, tax free. He KEEP going Ip Man on these dudes, he does NOT need to do a Jamestown on these mother fuckers but he INSISTS. Somehow even the Gundam Hammer, which is a giant Hannah Barbera cartoon flail-- Ok, look at this thing, words do not do it justice
Tumblr media
Even this god damn Tom and Jerry prop is less savage that whatever Amuro decides to do the moment he's done throwing his shield to get a free kill on someone and it officially becomes bed time forever for the unfortunate sap at the business end of his ten-finger weapons of mass destruction.
The RX-78-2, "Gundam" for its friends and family, even has a top of the line cutting edge Learning Computer that 'learns' alongside the pilot and their habits. This data extracted from it was so absolutely fucked up that it completely revolutionized Mobile Suit combat afterwards, which is a wholesome thing to think about when The Best Combat Data Ever came from a really angry, really stressed 15 year old that doesn't even like piloting. He was 15! He made Haro with his own hands! Amuro literally just wanted to make funny cute spherical robofriends! Amuro was out there trying to make Kirby real, but fate had other plans for him. His cloned brain put in a pilot seat is one of the setting's strongest 'pilots'.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They made fucking Shadow the Hedgehog with his brain, god damn.
By the end, Zeon is rolling out Gelgoogs out of its mass production lines. These things are in the Gundam's ballpark in terms of overall specs (or "power level"). Amuro is bodying them as if they were episode 1 Zaku IIs.
AND THEN HE GETS FUCKING PSYCHIC SPACE POWERS. Not that he needed them, he bodied a couple Space Psychics without any of those powers before awakening to them. But heaven's most violent child was not done evolving, whether he liked it or not.
Char bodied him in a souped up Zaku II at the start, a machine objectively inferior to the Gundam. Amuro more or less one-sidedly beats the shit out of Char when he's in a custom Commander-type Gelgoog that you could consider to be equal spec-wise to the Gundam. Amuro is the embodiment of Finding Out. He is Consequences. You tell him he better make it hurt, better make it count, better kill you in one shot, buddy, he needs half a fucking shot. The complete transformation. One could consider the central 75% of the show as long drawn out training montage turning a kid into the Geese Howard of giant robots.

Hi Vex! First time Lancer GM planning the start of our campaign. I've recently learned that all of my players plan on piloting HORUS mechs, and you seemed like a good person to ask: how scared should I be, and do you know any good ways to mess with them as payback (narratively or mechanically)?
First of all: thank you so much for buying my campaign and running it! You have no idea how gratifying it is to see people enjoying something that I made.
Second, a disclaimer: remember that as a GM, you are here to challenge your players and provide them with a fun experience, not to actually fuck them up or kill their mechs and stuff.
With that disclaimer out of the way, here's how you fuck with an-all HORUS team.
Heat. With the exception of the Manticore and the Pegasus, HORUS mechs tend to have low heat cap, which they compensate for by having above-average E-Def to protect them from invades. But Invade isn't the only way to spike a player's heat. The Aegis' Ring of Fire, the Cataphract's Capacitor Discharge, the Hornet's HEX Missiles, the Mirage's Manifest False Idols, the Pyro's Explosive Vent and Napalm Launcher, the Rainmaker's Hades Missiles and the Scout's System Flayer all deal Heat that doesn't interact with E-Def.
Low Armor. With the exception of the Manticore, no HORUS mech has more than 1 Armor, and most have 0. This means that they can't ignore Reliable damage as easily, and low-damage attacks are more meaningful.
Melee. With the exception of the Balor, HORUS mechs prefer to engage at range: the Gorgon and Manticore at CQB range, the Lich, Kobold and Minotaur at mid range, and the Hydra, Goblin and Pegasus at long range. While some of these mechs can easily be fitted for melee combat, none of them have equipment packages or traits that spec for it like IPS-N and SSC mechs do.
High E-Def. There are a lot of HORUS mechs that like to Invade, and several weapons in their equipment packages that have the Smart tag, meaning they roll against E-Def instead of Evasion. Enemies with high E-Def include the Bombard, Hive, Mirage, Priest, Scout and Witch.
Hope this helps!

So last night was the first session of my new Lancer campaign, using @vexwerewolf 's In Golden Flame. This iteration of the Hell's Gate Strategic Response Team got a chance to socialize while doing maintenance work, chatted with residents and had lunch at the Happy Noodle Bar (with this version of the proprietor based on Maya Killsixbilliondemons), and were briefed on the station's woes and their next assignment by the terminally stressed Jerry. Next week, they will sortie in a brave endeavor to break the pirate blockade of the station!
This squad includes: -Sétanta "Set" Hawkins, Callsign 'Cornfed', heir to a family that has been part of the Hell's Gate militia since the pyrite age, passing down the callsign and their mech ever since (the latter of which has long ceased to contain any original parts, grandfather's axe style). He's aiming towards monarch parts to enact that one Megas XLR gif.
-Meadow Reaper, Callsign 'Reaper', a bubbly farmer from Asphodel with a militarized farming rig (counts-as a caliban) who joined up for adventure at the advice of a mysterious patron.
-Pale Sage, Callsign 'Porcelain', a hell's gate foundryworker who suffered a horrific industrial accident, only kept alive through donated HORUS tech. She awoke with a transformed body, a knowledge of a strange language of clashing metal, and an appreciation of the purity of the machine. Her new favourite podcaster (who is definitely not an Elesh-Norn-coded deimosian) occasionally sends her gifts. She will
-Hara Stevens, Callsign 'Junkyard', a feral little creechure of a raccoongirl with incredible tech skills, a cyber arm with integrated multitools, dubious personal hygiene, and an NHP puppygirl gf. Her ride is a salvaged IPS-N Kidd missing some core parts (counts as an Everest for now) which will be brought up to full spec, and she is so so eepy.

Call Sign: Hunting the Questing Beast
“The Unicorn Knight,” but if you want him to talk to you shortening it Knight is the safe bet. More about him and the mech under the cut.
Ex Solider now working as a mercenary. His “Boss” is an old friend and commander of the unit, tho she like egalitarian control and only lets knight call her Boss because she knows it’s meant with affection. He spends most of his down time repairing and polishing his mech. The sort to say he hates kids, but if a kid is in danger you can be certain he would die before letting anything hurt it. Just won’t be the best babysitter.
Was injured during a war, and now has cybernetic replacements for his jaw, left side of his face, throat, ears, back of his skull and spine. With upgrades through out the years, his helmet folds out from the back of his skull, and is an input Jack for mech. Allowing for him to be tightly in control of it. His left eye is also linked to the mechs eyes, so he can always check if someone’s trying to touch them while he’s away.
The Mech, Hunting The Questing Beast, can both be bipedal and quad, the later is used for charging and tackling with other mechs. Despite his cold attitude, he’s a good teammate and will abandoned any fight to make sure a teammate is safe and covered. Though he is quit good and rushing based, grabbing the target or loot and leaving. All while destroying as much of their equipment as possible (see tail that is covered in charged blades).
For lancer folk, think IPS-N Blackbeard specs (I’m dyslexic I hope I got the letters in the right order)

IPS-N Lancaster
The IPS-N Lancaster is a mil-spec variant of an older IPS-N civilian terrestrial, inter/outer-hull transport and maintenance chassis, streamlined for use in any theater. The Lancaster features multiple redundant systems and sophisticated interaction projectors to ensure pinpoint accuracy when engaging with delicate systems, whether damaged or intact. Lancaster pilots often adopt roles as sappers and engineers in frontline support. Sometimes ridiculed for piloting the old-fashioned frame by newer, untested pilots, veteran Lancaster jockeys know the truth: the Lancaster is one of the most reliable and well-made mechs out there, indispensable on any serious long-range mission. Not every mission is won with bullets, lasers, and bombs: without the engineers and their Lannies, few of those hotshots would come home alive.

Helloho, for the ask game:
🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
and
🧩 ⇢ what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?
Thank you! :)
Hi hi, thanks for the ask! <3 🔪 ⇢ oh man, not sure if this is that much of a weird one (or I just don't know what's normal anymore), but I do have several leaked CIA manuals saved as PDFs on my computer?? mostly just bc it's informative & horrifyingly eyeopening in general. I like to research a lot of sociopolitical stuff, or at least I try to, so a lot of highly specific Cold War/WWII/present day intelligence apparatus things tend to end up in my search history. Other than that not to go the "winter soldier + red room umbrella" cop out route, but...winter soldier + red room umbrella. Lots of layman's psychiatry & neuroscience, accounts of drug effects/use, lots of "asking for a friend but theoretically what would happen to your body long term if you had XYZ happen to you and walked away", waaay too much on JFK/other assassinations, lots of stuff on weapons specs and indoctrination and "gangs in St Petersburg in the 1980s?" and stuff like that.
Also like... which kinds of birds were native to NYC in the early 20th century and the relevance of catholic socialism in working class circles and medical papers on the side effects of the use of stramonium in asthma cigarettes, lol. (That might be one of the more specific ones, objectively.)
Again, this all feels pretty typical for Cap fics so idk how weird it is (and it's just a fun learning experience overall and mostly doesn't even end up in the writing) but I feel like my IP's on a lot of very confused yet suspect government lists at this point.
🧩 ⇢ oof, this one is rough. I try to always give fics with a good desc & tags benefit of the doubt, but I've also been around long enough that I can kind of tell if something's going to put me off, y'know? I guess I'm not a big fan of infantilizing adult characters or coddling relationships, especially if it's presented as an unproblematic given. I like softness as much as the next person, and I'm all for protectiveness and loyalty and comfort being at the core of both friendships and romantic relationships, but I like when it's a mutual thing that was arrived at after some time or even after it being a point of conflict/misunderstanding bc people deal with this stuff in many weird, differing, sometimes counterproductive ways.
In stevebucky fics esp while I love that element between them, I'm really not huge on Bucky bundling pre-serum Steve up to hide him away from the mean mean world, primarily because I think it would make Steve want to bludgeon him with a shovel for it repeatedly and Bucky would know that, and vice versa for them post-CATWS + dealing with each other's guilt (+ even and maybe especially the Sam-Steve relationship as it pertains to that as well). Which is not to say that I don't love to read about these conflicts being explored or a good "I want to help you PLEASE let me help you"/"you shut the fuck up and sit in the corner and hold my hand while I deal with my shit on my own" dynamic even if it's borderline unhealthy or codependent at a point - I just think it takes a bit of friction to make it interesting to read about and for it to arrive at a satisfying point in the end.

i wondered if you had anything i could read about your perspective on ai art stuff. im wary of it as an artist whos had trouble finding work, some of the jobs i would normally do as a contractor are being replaced with ai that in some cases very closely copies specific peoples labor, and the wages are dropping and youre expected to deliver much quicker to compete with the machines, which is my main issue. in a vacuum, it would be a cool tool, but i worry about making rent.
I have a lot of discussion about it in my posts on deepdreamnights.tumblr.com, under the fold on various posts. My stances on IP have been consistent for a very long time. I think copyright terms need to be slashed, fair use is essential, and that people do not own culture.
I'm not going to lie, jobs will be lost over this tech. It is to no one's advantage to pretend that a technology this powerful won't change the landscape. The advances in computer assisted animation put hand animators out of work, but it also opened up the possibility of small teams doing independent animation online. I think we'll see similar outcomes here.
I'm also an artist who works on commission. I am mainly a 3d modeller and graphic designer, but I do digital painting, photomanipulation, character design. The AI hasn't come for 3d quite yet, but it's coming. Graphic design has been very automated for quite some time. I'm not a carpetbagger or an outside invader, I'm a working artist, in the trenches, adapting to the new tools.
By working AI into my workflow, I've been able to ramp up my abilities. I can mock up mood pieces and concepts with AI, offer a client far more options than I'd have the time to do on spec, and then develop those ideas manually and with AI assistance.
I've used image prompting to work up wild variations on my own character designs to break through artist block and get a quick glimpse of whether a direction is interesting to go before putting my increasingly stiff, pain-riddled fingers to drawing it out by hand. There's opportunities there, and a trained artist with AI as a tool is going to outstrip an artistic layperson with the same gear.
There's also going to be opportunities to sell your abilities on the things that AI does poorly. Consistency, responsiveness to client feedback, cohesion with aspects like narrative. Symbolism and visual wit. Getting it right, or close to, on the first attempt.
That's part of why I share my processes and my prompts. I want people to have an honest understanding of what the tech is capable of, and actual facts about how it works. I hammer home how everything is curated, because while I have posted hundreds of AI generated and assisted pieces...
Tumblr media
Those are the cream of the crop.
I hope this helps.

So a general observation, that is relevant to the impacts on the CW Nexstar genre series that are cancelled or in danger of it at any minute.
Notice how CW Nexstar's acquired series are all drama (not genre). There's one that has a slight supernatural element, and it's more of a crime thriller.
This isn't a knock on those series. I do watch some drama. I like mysteries and thrillers, I'm not an only SF/fantasy/horror rigidly. But primarily I am a genre fan--and I've been noticing the erosion of genre TV on linear broadcast.
Look at the lists of surviving series on the broadcast TV networks. All of them. There's almost no genre series. Quantum Leap is a notable exception, but that's science based time travel adventure that emphasis the drama elements.
Spaceships, monster hunting, high fantasy, horror, urban fantasy -- is vanishing from broadcast linear tv.
CW Nexstar is just following suit. It's a business decision. And the irony of it is, it's not because genre isn't lucrative. It's because those IP's tend to be expensive. The licensing fees, remember?
There's industry spec concerning the remaining DC shows, oh maybe CW Nexstar will keep ONE DC/WBD series. As a treat.
Ok.
But it's increasingly obvious that broadcast linear tv is not able to sustain genre storytelling or retain genre fans and those fans have to go to streaming and tbh I've felt like streaming has been better to those shows creatively. Streaming has felt more suited to genre.
And that brings us to the WGA Strike issues. Because while these popular IP's do great on streaming, the writers aren't getting the residuals they deserve. And with genre vanishing more and more from broadcast tv, what does that mean for genre tv writers in particular?
So as a genre tv fan. PAY THE WRITERS WHAT THEY DESERVE IN STREAMING RESIDUALS.
And I'm sorry broadcast tv can't sustain genre tv any more.

Bayverse turtles x reader/ y/n (gender neutral creeper and reader)
Hi guys!
So like, a month back a neighbor creeped on me, so I started this to kinda vent. Hope you like it!
THIS SCENARIO: someone decided to be creepy to you. Here's how each turtle would handle it.
Mikey:
WHAT? Someone disrespected you and made you feel uncomfortable??
Oh hell no baby cakes!
People underestimate this ball of joy and jokes.
BUT his experience in pranking and terrorizing his older brothers? Has prepared him for this moment
He goes mental warfare on this person that harassed and made you feel uncomfortable.
Typically he'll do stuff to their house. Learn their schedule.
Make them think their house is haunted, comes in the middle of the night to REALLY freak them out
He'll write: "y/n is mine" on the walls with fake blood. Clean it up if they call the police.
Clear wrap their car so they'll be late for work
Thumb tacks in their bed, yup, not even the BED is safe. It can't be trusted.
Sugar in their gas tank
Sulfer powder on the vents of their car, person will never be able to use it or sell it when it has the rotten STENCH of rotten eggs
Shave their head. He'll get more and more mean with his pranks until they freak out and turn a new leaf.
If they don't? He'll keep it up for years, he'll go full petty mode, make them pay
Creeper will become paranoid
What's around the next corner? Oh god
People will call the creeper crazy
Police will turn against the creeper if he tries to keep calling them
Donnie:
I think it's safe to say where this is going...
Will find them online, give them their ip address, home address, and freaking coordinates in private message
No one messed with you under his watch
He'll troll him online
Whether social media?
Videogames? Oh he will DESTROY them. Maybe get Mikey's help on that specific one.
Make it clear this is about you and if he gets creepy with you again he'll pay. Big time
May dox them if person deserves it
May inform their employers or ensure they get fired for such atrocities pointed towards you
Would inconvenience him
Maybe get person on a watch list or two
Black list them on every internet provider
Any and all interests this person has that have to do with technology will be ruined for them
May tap their bank account too if they pissed the smart turtle off enough.
This person will be a hobby for a while. And he'll keep this up for at least a year This person FUCKED up messing with his S/O
Or until he runs out of ideas for them.
But lord help the creeper if they fuck with you again
He'll make sure they lose everything
And buy a nice piece of jewelry for you or something
Leo:
Will be aggressive, not up front, he does it in the dark
How DARE someone disrespect you like that??
Goes FREAKING spec ops
Uses torture techniques that won't leave marks or evidence
Person will wake up, strapped to bed, get waterboarded
Another day they'll wake up to Chinese water torture
Borrow a Ratchet strap from Donnie, straps person to their couch, beats them with a pillowcase of soap
This is as close as the creeper has been to soap! Disgusting person!!
Flip their mattress when they're sleeping. (More like chuck it across the room and make them face plant the wall)
Absolutely TERRIFY this person, probably scarring
Will do this for a while
They are safe no where
Will booby trap their car, their work cubicle, you name it, he can get in anywhere and WILL get in anywhere
Will easily evade police, security measures. He will be the ghost of justice.
Will also do this for an extended time, at LEAST several months.
This person will get to a point where they'll be praying to any godly entity for the ghost of justice to leave them alone.
Raph:
Yeaaaaaah. This person is about to get it
Raph is a direct approach, won't drag it out like his brothers, because he doesn't have to
Short and sweet
Is there when the person gets home, turns on the lights like a parent that caught their kid doing something wrong
Busted
Slaps the creeper silly, don't you ever talk to his s/o ever again!
Slaps them open handed both to disrespect them, and obviously so he doesn't put them in the hospital or worse
And people call HIM a monster! At least he had common decency and can read someone!
Then he'll fight Leo when he gets home
The two eldest bros will be fighting because Leo is NOT gonna be happy Raph went to the surface and exposed himself like that?!
Raph has the "I'll fuckin do it again" attitude
Aaaaand does. At LEAST one more time.
Puts the fear of GOD into this person, one more time
You can't stop him, you tried. Told him to drop it.
Splinter deals with him the second time around, like: "my son, yes they are awful but you can't just expose yourself and beat up people"
Spoiler: he doesn't care. Every words goes over his head.
Worth the Hashi.
His s/o is avenged and won't be bothered again
