"It's so good to see you again,Inko!"Mom hugged Mrs.Midoriya as the latter opened the door to her apartment.Worried after hearing the news about her husband,Mom had decided to pay a visit on their way to school.

"It's good to see you again as well,Rei!"Mrs.Midoriya beamed,hugging back.Shouto peeked over her shoulder.

"Hey,Midoriya."

"Hey,Todoroki."Midoriya smiled,walking up to him.

Mom pulled back,sad faced,"I heard about Hisashi.I'm sorry."

Mrs.Midoriya smiled sadly,"It's alright.It's not your fault-it's no one's fault."Shouto placed a hand on her shoulder,surprising everyone-including himself.

"Don't sorry,we're here for you if anything else happens."Maybe it was the superhero thing but he felt compelled to comfort her.

Mrs.Midoriya smiled,hugging him,"Thank you,dear."She turned to Midoriya once she let him go."Why don't you ride with them since they're already here?"

"What?"Shouto asked when he saw Mom smiling widely at him as they drove to school.

"Look at you!Hugging Inko and helping her!"She said before pinching his cheek.

"Ow!"

"My little superhero!"Midoriya snorted.

Shouto laughed nervously.They arrived at school a few seconds later.

"Good luck!"She said to them as they exited.

"You too!"

"Thanks,Rei!"Midoriya turned to him as Mom drove off,grinning,"Mommy's little superhero!"

"Shut up,you're way more of a Momma's boy than i am!"

"And what about it?"

"Todoroki!"Bakugou jogged over to him,"Symbol of Peace 2 comes out tommorow.Wanna play it with me?"

Shouto nodded eagerly and Bakugou smiled.That always seemed to happen when Shouto was around and it made his heart bounce.

"We should camp out."Midoriya suggested.

Bakugou was about to say something until Kirishima came barreling through,throwing an arm over Bakugou's shoulder."I'll join you guys too!"

"Me too!"Mina skipped over to them,smiling sunnily.

Kaminari and Sero of course joined in as well.

"Hey,guys!"Midoriya called over Uraraka,Iida and Tsuyu.

"I'll ask Hagakure,Jirou and Yaoyorozu to join us too."

'I meant as more of a date thing but too late now.'

"Woah!"Kaminari noted,"This place is packed!"

The line to the game store was rather long.

"Midoriya had the right idea."Shouto commented and smiled as said boy beamed at him.

"Midoriya always has the right idea."Tsuyu said,"He's a genius."Midoriya blushed up to his ears.

Iida nodded in agreement,"Midoriya is brilliant at everything!"

Shouto snickered as Midoriya buried his face in his hands,"H-Hey,c'mon,guys,i-i'm not that great!"

"UH,hard disagree."Uraraka said seriously,grabbing his hands,"You're amazing!"

Midoriya looked about ready to pass out.

"Once you guys are done with Midoriya appreciation hour,get in line!"Sero said jokingly.

Uraraka giggled,jumping up behind him.

"I can't believe we're doing this."Bakugou muttered.Kirishima nudged him.

"C'mon,it'll be fun!"

"Yeah,standing in a line for literal hours."Bakugou rolled his eyes,"Woop-dee-fuckin'-doo."

Kaminari flopped down on the floor,taking out a bag of chips and offered some of to them,"Want any?"

Kirishima smiled,taking them and sitting down next to him.

Shouto followed their lead and Bakugou grudgingly did the same.The rest of their friends stood.

"So what is Symbol of Peace?"Yaoyorozu tried to start a conversation.

Kaminari light up like a christmas tree,"Symbol of Peace is the title of Yagi "All-Might" Toshinori,a superhero.His power or 'quirk' is One For All.It gives him superstregth!The name is because,unlike other quirks,it can passed down by consuming the dna of whoever the current host is."

Yaoyorozu got on the floor as well,"A superhero?!Like Spiderman!?"

"A fictional superhero,sadly."Kaminari sighed dramatically,"Man,what i wouldn't give to see a Spiderman and All-Might team up."

Shouto felt inclined to agree.

"Can you tell me more?"

Kaminari grinned,"Of course!"

Kaminari rambled to Yaoyorozu about Symbol of Peace gameplay,trivia,the comics and all the other official parts as she listened with an awed expression.

Suddenly,Shouto's spidersense went off and he tackled Yaoyorozu to the floor out of instinct."Todoroki?!"She yelped only to suck in a breath as a black goop flew over them.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!"Jirou exclaimed,pointing.Shouto followed the direction of her finger and nearly fell backwards at the very obviously not human being made up of black....something grinning at them.

"We.Are.Venom."

Shouto rushed inside the gaming store as the citizens panicked.

Shouto launched webbing at the person Venom had managed to catch and caught them in his arms."Are you alrigh-"The person clung to him,sputtering 'thank you's and blushing."You're welcome."

"What's this?"Venom licked the place their lips should have been,"A new type of snack?"

Shouto gently placed the person back on their feet,"Run and don't look back."So they did.He then turned to Venom,"You want a snack?"He got into a battle position,"Come and get it."

Venom whipped out their abnormally long tongue and wrapped it around Shouto's waist,pulling him towards them.Shouto struggled to escape,momentarily terrified,only to be pleasantly shocked when Bakugou kicked Venom upside the head.

Venom shrieked in pain,clutching their head as Shouto pushed Bakugou out of the way."Thank you,kind citizen."He used his Spiderman voice,"Your help is very appreciated."

"You're welcome.Now we're even."

He blinked rapidly."Excuse me?"His voice cracked.

Before he could ask Bakugou to elaborate,Venom rose once again."You'll pay for that,brat!"They snarled.

Bakugou flinched and Shouto had to fight the urge to hug him as he instead shielded him with his arm."RUN!"Bakugou shook his head furiously,"Citizen,please!".Venom swiped at them and they dodged,"You could get hurt!"

"Then let me!"Bakugou's own voice cracked.

Shouto felt like his brain had blown a circut for a second."WHAT?!"Venom used his tongue once again and Shouto snatched up Bakugou his waist as he swung them away.

"COME AND FACE ME,YOU COWARD!"Venom let out a roar,stomping after them.

"I don't want you to save me!"Bakugou snapped,"Or for Todoroki to save me!I don't want anyone to save me!I'm not weak!"

"Who says you're weak?"Bakugou looked like he seriously regretted speaking.

"My...mom."Bakugou winced out,"She said i was too weak to save myself."He looked down.Shouto's expression softened.

'Bakugou...'Shouto couldn't help but silently resent Bakugou's mother.

"HEY!Venom's gone!"

Shouto blinked in surprise at Bakugou's yell,looking back and confirming it to be true.Bakugou looked at him."You can put me down now."He sounded hesitant.

"R-Right!"

"SPIDERMAN!"Kaminari hollered as Shouto and Bakugou walked back to the game store,"Y-y-you're Spiderman!"

Shouto smiled,"Yes,i am aware."

Kaminari jumped up and down in excitement like a little kid,"I'm meeting Spiderman!"

"Hi,Spiderman."Uraraka waved to him

Jirou stood frozen while Hagakure began taking photos of Shouto,who happily posed heroically for her.

"Mr.Spiderman-"Iida began.

"It's Spiderman.Just Spiderman."

Iida nodded,nervous yet smiling,"Spiderman,thank you for saving our friend."

Bakugou scowled,"If anything i think i should be thinking him for saving me."Bakugou snapped his head towards Shouto,looking shocked.

"HAH?!"

"He saved me from becoming Venom Food."Shouto told his now awed friends before turning to Bakugou,"Thank you,my friend."

Bakugou scoffed,stuffing his hands into his pockets and looking away."Whatever,it wasn't that big of a deal."

Spiderman thanked him for saving him and called him his friend.It made a warm,happy sensation bubble up in his chest but like hell he'd admit that.

'But you already admitted that your Mom's words made you feel bad.'That was because he respected Spiderman!He used his powers for good and was kind to everyone except villains.Besides,he already had a crush on Todoroki.

'Saved by the two guy's you have crushes on-'

"I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!"Bakugou yelled out,causing his friends to jump.

"Woah,woah,woah,"Kaminari said,grinning and holding up his hands(One of which had a Spiderman autographed copy of Symbol of Peace 2 in it),"Nobody said you have a crush on Spiderman."

"Although,"Said Kirishima slyly,"It wouldn't be much of a surprise if you did."

"Spiderman's a nice guy."Tsuyu added.

"I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!"Bakugou yelled again,feeling his face heat up from a mix of embarresment and anger.

Todoroki emerged from the bathroom."What'd i miss?"

Alr so i know already have a Todomomo Spiderman au-The 'Unbelievable Spidershouto' lore i came up with ages ago and posted about earlier.BUT since Shouto and Momo are soulmates by choice in every universe and i realized Momo is a Miles kinnie(see my last post for context),i was thinking of another one where she's the protag instead of Shouto and he's her Gwen.Since she was Gwen in the og,i was thinking her story here would be less about normal teenagehood at first to contrast Shouto and more her learning her learning to embrace her abnormalities by virtue of being a kid genius with a hodgepodge of neurodivergent disorders when she becomes Spiderwoman like Miles did by becoming Spiderman and now it would be Shouto's turn to learn normalcy thanks to her growing up entierly unmasked(autistically)due to having very supportive parents and teaching him how to do the same.Also i'll be real,one of the reason's i wanna flesh this out is that i've been looking for an excuse to have Dabi as Hobie and these three combined is all the motivation i need!

Issue 12

Shouto's morning had started off fairly normal.He woke up,brushed his teeth,walked into the kitchen for breakfast-

He did a double take at the newspaper in Mom's hands.The front Page was a picture of himself in his costume,crawling up a wall with the title 'Spidermenace'.Fury built up in his gut.He'd saved the city from Doc Oc and the Sandman and caught Black Cat-he was a hero!

...Right?

"Shouto,honey,aren't you going to eat?"

He snapped up at Mom's voice,"Uh,yeah,sure."

"Is there something wrong?"She asked in concern,laying down the newspaper.

"No!No.I'm fine."He stuffed his mouth so he wouldn't have to speak.Mom's frown deepend but before she could talk again,Rumi walked into the kitchen in her pajamas,streching.

"Mornin'!"She yawned.

"Good morning."Mom responded,smiling at her future daughter in law.

Fuyumi walked up behind Rumi,also in her pajamas,and drapped her arms over her shoulders."Good morning."She smiled sleepily.

"Morning,Yumi."Rumi pecked her on the lips.

"You guys are so gross."Shouto said teasingly.

"Oh,shove it,Shouto."Fuyumi mocked anger.

Shouto smiled before it fell as he remembered."So...'Spidermenace',huh?",He tried to sound casual.

Rumi blinked at him and Fuyumi adjusted her glasses in surprise,"Excuse me?"They said simultaneously.

"Oh that!"Mom lifted up the newspaper to show them,"You know how your father is."She said to Shouto.

The room dropped several temperatures.Rumi looked half way between awkaward and angry.She'd known what kind of person Shouto and Fuyumi's father was.If you could call him a person after all he'd done.

"Who cares what that fucker thinks?"Rumi snatched the newspaper from Mom,"Spiderman's a hero,he dosen't know what he's talking about."

Shouto was always grateful for Rumi and he should tell her that.

"He owns the town's newspaper?"Fuyumi tried to move away from the topic this conversation could lead to,cuddling closer to Rumi.Rumi responded in kind,nuzzling her very similiarly to a rabbit.

"Yes."Mom confirmed,"He took over a few week's ago after the former owner stepped down."

Natsuo walked in then,"Hey,Rumi!What's up?"The two fist bumped."What are we talking about?"

"Nothing."Shouto shot up,"I gotta get to school."

-

"Spidermenace?!He's the town hero!"Kaminari exclaimed.

Kirishima nodded in agreement,taking a bite off his sandwitch.

"This is the new guy's doing!"He continued,"Mr.Ishiyama would never!This guy's a joke!"

Shouto smiled into his juice.

"C'mon,Kaminari,he's probably just trying to protector the town."Uraraka tried to defend him.

"From a superhero? C'mon!"Kaminari scoffed."He's an idiot!He's-"

"-my dad."Shouto finished.His friends froze for a few seconds and turned robotically to him.

"Your...what?"Jirou said slowly.

Kaminari laughed nervously,"Uh...y'know what?Maybe Uraraka has a point!"

"It's cool,insult him all you want,he's a clown."He took a big sip.

His friends blinked at him,then looked amongst eachother.Kaminari slumped in relief.

"Oh thank god."

Sero looked like he seriously wanted to ask but held himself back.

Bakugou and Midoriya gave understanding look's to Shouto,already aware of his father's actions.

"Why do you say that?"Yaoyorozu inquired.

"Because it's true."

"Because..."

"Yaoyorozu!"Jirou hissed,pulling her to her side.

"No,it's fine."Shouto looked at his friends,"I trust you all so much.If you'd like to know,i'll tell you."

Sero perked up.

"I would."Said Tsuyu.

Shouto nodded,taking in a deep breath and closing his eyes.They snapped open as he felt someone's hand over his.He looked down to see it was Bakugou's,who was giving him a gentle look.

"Go on,Todoroki."He said calmly.

Shouto nodded again,punching down his blush.He held Bakugou's hand back as he spoke,"My father is not a good person.He married my mom just so he could have a heir and he beat her-"Yaoyorozu's hands flew to her mouth,Iida gasped,Sero dropped his juice box,Kaminari nearly fell out of his seat,Jirou sucked in a breath and Tsuyu recoiled,wide-eyed,"constantly.He did the same to me and my siblings.Me?I was his chosen one.So i got trained by him.All his worst was thrown at me.Everything got so bad that my oldest brother,Touya,ran away.We haven't seen or heard from in years."

Shouto jerked back as Bakugou's knuckles brushed away the tears he din't realized he'd started crying."Thank you."

Bakugou hugged him.

Shouto and the rest of his friends froze.

Shouto closed his eyes,hugging back."Thank you."He said again,voice cracking.

Bakugou pulled back but still had an arm wrapped around him.

Uraraka stood up,hugging him as well."You din't deserve that."She spoke quietly,trembling,"None of you did."

Shouto hugged back,smiling this time."Thank you."He said for the third time and looked to the rest of his friend's,extending out a hand."Come on."He made grabby hands at them.

Kaminari was the first one to stand up,going up to join in the hug.Then Tsuyu,then Sero,Kirishima,Jirou,Iida,Ashido,Hagakure and finally Yaoyorozu.

"Was your dad...?"She croacked,"The one to give you your scar?"

"No,it was my mom."

"I thought she was cool!"

"KAMINARI!"Jirou and Sero yelled.

"What?!"Kaminari said back,"She burned half her kid's face!"

Bakugou squeezed Todoroki's hand,causing him to squeeze it back,smiling at him before turning to Kaminari.

"She did it during a mental breakdowm."He explained.

"Oh."Kaminari said quietly.

"I kind of resent her for it."Shouto admitted,"But it's not her fault.My dad pushed her to that point."

Bakugou went back to hugging him.

"Todoroki,"Hagakure said gently ,"You can always talk to us about this."She turned to the rest of their friends,"Right guys?"They nodded.

"Yeah."Sero layed a hand on his shoulder,"Any time,anywhere."

"No matter what."Iida added.

"Thank you."Shouto said for the fourth time,meaning it just as much.

"Todoroki,can i tell you something?"Bakugou approached him after school.

"Of course you can."Shouto said immediately.

Bakugou breathed in and blinked rapidly as Shouto grabbed his hand."Go on,Bakugou."He said gently.

Bakugou smiled and Todoroki's heart leaped again.'Will that ever go away?!'Probably not.

"My mom hits me."Bakugou confessed and Shouto squeezed his hand.Bakugou stared down at their linked hands,"She was raised that way.It's normal for her."Bakugou locked eyes with him,serious,"If you ever need someone to talk to your Mom about,i'm here."

Shouto couldn't stop the smile from gracing his face."I'll keep that in mind."

Bakugou squeezed his hand back and Shouto felt at peace.

That din't last very long.

"C'mon,Spidey,catch me if you can!"Black Cat had escaped jail and was currently running from another robbery.

"Don't call me Spidey!"He yelled back as he swung after her.

"Okay,Spidey!"

He groaned.

He cornered her in an abandoned building."Give me what you stole!"He demanded.

"Mmmmm,nope!"She giggled.

He threw a punch and she dodged,swipping at his feet.Shouto fell flat on his back and scrambled to get up,chasing after her again.

"Bet ya can't-"Black Cat ran face-first into a wall and Shouto took the opportunity to web her up once more."That was fun!"She beamed.

"For you maybe."

"SPIDERMAN?!"

Shouto whipped around to see Uraraka with her mouth hanging open."'Hello,kind citizen!"He deepend his voice.

Uraraka snapped out of her shock,smiling widely,"Spiderman!"She bowed,"It's an honor to meet you!Oh!"She took out a notebook,"Can i get your autograph?"

Shouto complied,smiling.

"Don't you want my autograph too?"Black Cat asked.Uraraka blinked at her.

"Who are you?"

"Ouch."She muttered before straightening,"I'm Black Cat-"

"And you're going to jail."Shouto finished.

She pouted,"Awww,come on!Can't you give me a break?"

"Mmmmm,nope!"He grinned and Black Cat huffed.

Issue 3

It wasn't until Shouto walked out of the locker room with Midoriya,pulling his shirt down slightly,that it finally registered that he would have to constantly move around and concentrate on literally not falling flat on his face and that that could terrifyingly easily lead to him accidentally not controlling his powers.

His stomach felt very uncomfortable all of a sudden.

"Alright,class."Mr.Aizawa spoke up from his place in his sleeping back,up against a wall,black hair that looked like it hadn't been washed in years sticking out."First up for today-wall climbing.Left side goes first."

'Fuck'

Shouto tried and failed not to squirm as he made his way to the climbing wall along with his classmates.'When did the climbing wall get so intimidating?'

Nonetheless,Shouto managed to climb a few feet up.However,he froze as he sensed something.He sensed something.He snapped his head to the left suddenly,almost as if on it's own,as he realized the direction it was coming from and his eyes landed on Bakugou Katsuki next to him-just in time for Bakugou to slip on one of the rocks and fall backwards.

"BAKUGOU!"

His restraint flew out the window as he dived down to catch him and Bakugou's screaming stopped in shock as Shouto actually managed it by wrapping an arm tightly around Bakugou's abdomen.Shouto's other limbs had done the instinctual thing and clung to the wall-but instead of clinging,his hands and feet stuck to it.

Shouto's breath hitched,both from the confirmation of two more powers-as well as the powers themselves-and Bakugou's eyes piercing up to his as they dangled in the air.He felt nervousness,excitement,fear-

"OI,GET US DOWN FROM HERE!"

Bakugou's yell towards Mr.Aizawa snapped him out of it.

Shouto's face burned as he realized where his arm was,trying to not let out any embarrasing noises or blurt out something sappy as Mr.Aizawa pulled down their ropes.

Once their feet touched the ground,Bakugou jerked away from him."You don't need to save me."He snapped.

"But i want to."The words slipped out without meaning to.

Bakugou's scowl deepend.He looked like wanted to say something but instead walked towards Kirishima and Kaminari(the two out of four people that he was actually friends with),shoulder-shoving him as he passed.

"But i want to!"A teasing voice came from behind him.Shouto groaned,blushing again.

"Shut up,Midoriya."

"You're not very subtle."

"SHUT UP,MIDORIYA!"

"Bakugou-"Shouto tried to speak to him as Bakugoh took out of one of the basketball's from the basketball rack,only for his words to be cut off by his glare.

"I don't want to talk to you,Half and Half."Shouto was pretty sure he made the expression of a kicked puppy.

Shouto spent the next activities shoulders slumped,head down,not looking at Bakugou in fear that he would notice how affected he was.It was stupid how affected he was.He and Bakugou had barely spoken.His crush was stupid.'I'm stupid'

"Todoroki?"Midoriya asked in concern after a while,standing next to him,"What's the matter?"

'Bakugou dosen't want to talk to me'.That was so embarrasing."Nothing."

"Is it the Bakugou thing?"

"...well-"

"And for our last activity of the day-"Mr.Aizawa spoke loudly,"Push-ups."As he usually did,he began listing off partners.

Todoroki was about to zone out until two names in particular made his head snap up.

"Bakugou,you go with Todoroki.Kaminari-"

He looked to Bakugou for the first time in almost the whole period and expectedly,he was furious.

Once everyone had a partner,Todoroki quietly walked over to Bakugou,who was still steaming in his place."Do you want to go first?"He asked in his most polite tone.

Bakugou glared at him for a few seconds,bearing his teeth.Seeming to accept their current situation,he sunk down onto the floor,getting into proper position,hands behind his head(Shouto found that rather attractive on him but then again,he found almost everything attractive on him.).

Shouto placed himself on the floor as well,relatively calm until he remembered his webbing.'Oh god'.Great.Just fucking great.

He ended up placing his hands on Bakugou's legs rather slowly.Surprisingly enough,Bakugou said nothing and simply began his push ups.

"Bakugou,i din't meant to come off like i thought you needed saving."Shouto tried his best to articulate.No reaction.

Shouto frowned deeply,deciding to try again."I know you could have saved yourself but i just jumped into action without thinking.".Silence.

Shouto felt distressed now,"Please stop ignoring me."His voice cracked as he spoke.

Bakugou paused mid-push up,in mid-air,starring at Shouto in the eye."Don't save me again."He asked,Shouto realized,voice low.

Shouto gulped before nodding slowly,"I won't."

Bakugou continued to stare him and Shouto prayed that he hadn't started blushing before he kept going with his push ups,causing Shouto to nearly sigh in relief.

'He din't notice my powers or my crush.My secrets are safe.For now.'

"I'm home!"Shouto exclaimed as he opened the door to his apartment,kicking off his shoes.Natsuo was layed across the couch,a bag of chips on his stomach,throwing them in the air and catching them with his mouth.

"Welcome home,bastard."Natsuo greeted him,wiping off some crumbs on the side of his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Y'know,Mom's not gonna be happy with you if you get any of that anywhere."Shouto pointed out,sliding off his backpack onto the couch at Natsuo's feet.

He waved a dismissive hand,"It'll be fiiiiiiine."Shouto rolled his eyes fondly before taking the photos he'd developed in the school's darkroom(free access whenever he wanted was a privilige of being the president of the photography club)out of his backpack.

"I'll be in my room if you need me."He called to Natsuo over his shoulder as he walked towards it.

"But bro,i always need you!I loooooooove you!"Natsuo mock wailed dramatically,sticking his leg in the air and throwing an arm over his face for special effect.

Shouto snorted before locking the door.

Unsurprisingly,none of the photos he'd taken had the spider in them.He wasn't even sure what he would do if he had gotten it.He could show it to someone to see if they knew the species but then that would lead to them asking why he wanted to know and if he lied,they would find out the truth eventually and if he told the truth-No.He wasn't risking anyone finding out.

The picture was meant to be more of a very weird reassurance,he guessed.

Shouto looked at his hands.Enough fear-or maybe that was just acceptance-had passed for him to use them without shaking.He stood from his place on the bed,lifting them up to his eyes and continued to stare.Slowly,he made his way to the bathroom,getting an idea.

Standing in the middle of his bedroom,wearing nothing but a binder and boxer's,his hair extremely messy after drying it after a shower and about to use his spider powers was not a thing Shouto ever thought he would do.Or that anyone would do.His life was weird.

'Alright,let's start with the first one:Webs.'

He shakily lifted his left arm,opening his palm.

'Okay,how do i...activate it.'

He pushed forward.Nothing.

He closed and opened quickly.Nothing.

He put his fingers in different positions.Nothi-

A stream of webbing shot out of his outstreched hand,landing on a book on his desk.

Shouto jumped in surprise,nearly falling back on his bed.His eyes jerked to his hand.Pinky,index and thumb out,ring finger and middle fingers out.He concentrated again and even more webbing shot out,sloppily cocooning the book.

An elated smile spread across this face.Maybe he could make this work.

Issue 8

Natsuo looked at the tv screen in awe as a man in a blue and red suit with black accents and a spider symbol on his chest shot out webbing from his hand and took down the crazy blue haired octopus guy.

The previously screaming and terrified crowd cheered and surrounded him.

'Spiderman',he called himself.

-

"Spiderman,huh?"Rumi mused as she looked at the tv screen,"kinda on the nose but i like it."

Fuyumi finally snapped out of her shock as she spoke and realized she'd dropped her fork.Flushing in embarresment at doing something so silly in a fancy restaurant,she quickly picked it up.

-

"Todoroki!"Hagakure was the first person to greet him in the morning,"Check it out!"She held up a picture of Spiderman swinging away from the octopus man scene.

"Woah!"He was genuinely impressed,"How'd you get that?"

Hagakure smiled smugly,"It din't take much.Just being a good photographer."

"Must have been a breeze for you then."

Hagakure beamed happily.

"You're actually coming to the club today,right?"He'd skipped yesterday and the day before that.

"Yeah.Sorry,i was just really stressed the last few days."

She thankfully din't ask,just rubbing his shoulder reassuringly."I'm glad you're doing better now."

"Thank you."

Inbetween classes,Spiderman seemed to be the only thimg everyone wanted to talk about.

"Who do you think he really is?"

"What's his costume made out of?"

"How old is he?"

"Did you see the way he took down octopus guy?!He was like,'pssssh'!"Kaminari tried to immitate the sound of web shooting.

"What do you think,Todoroki?"Midoriya asked him.

Shouto shrugged,"I think he's just a guy trying his best."

"Well,he should keep at it!He is the best!"

Shouto felt his heart squeeze happily.

"Hey,Bakugou."Shouto greeted him as he arrived at Midoriya's house.

"Let's play."Bakugou responded.

Shouto nodded,flopping down next to him on the floor.

"I'm gonna win."Bakugou declared as he began to set up the game system.

"And if you don't?"Shouto challanged.

"I will."

Shouto smiled.

As predicted,Bakugou won the first round.

Shouto won the second round.

Eventually,they'd lost sight of who had how many wins and began playing for fun.

"Do you guys want anything?"Midoriya asked from the couch,"A sandwitch?Some juice?"

They ignored him.

Hisashi lifted the vile of formula up,raising an eyebrow.He looked to the two scientists,who flinched under his gaze.

"So this-"He gestured to it with his hand,"will enchance the strength and senses of whoever drinks it?"

"Yes."Said one.

"But It's very unstable."The other quickly added.

As if on cue,the vile exploded in Hisashi's face.

"That was fun."Shouto said as they finished their final round.

"Yeah."Bakugou let his arm hang over his leg,"Wanna exchange phone numbers?"

Shouto's heart nearly jumped out of his chest.

"So we can plan our hang out's."

"Yeah,definitely-"

"Izuku!"Inko came running into the room,teary eyed,"Your father is in the hospital!"

Shouto and Bakugou snapped their heads up to said boy,who wore a stunned expression.

-

Izuku's father was not a large presence in his life.Actually,he wasn't even a presence.Izuku hardly ever thought of him unless he was literally right in front of him.But he was still his dad...so could anyone really blame him for being filled with worry as he sat outside his hospital room.

Mom came out the door,sobbing and being helped by a nurse."You can go in now."The nurse told him in a gentle voice.

Izuku awkawardly walked in,closing the door behind him."Hi...Dad."The word felt strange to him,almost wrong.

"I,uh,hope you're doing okay-woah,that was a dumb thing to say."He was literally incapacitated for the week.

"Well...bye."He shuffled out of the room as quickly as possible.

"What did you say to him?"Mom asked as he sat next to her.

"Uh...not much."

"Are you okay,Midoriya?"Was the first think Izuku heard when he got to school.

"Yeah,thanks for asking,Todoroki."

Issue 7

This was a stupid idea.

This was such,SUCH a stupid idea.

Why did he think to make himself a costume?!Wasting the money he'd been saving up on materials.

Despite his inner panic,he remained stone faced as he walked back home.

"Hey bro!"Natsuo greeted him from his place sitting on the couch,"Whatcha got there?"

"It's stuff for a school project."He almost grimaced with the guilt of lying to Natsuo."I'll be in my room."

Making sure to lock the door,he then placed all the fabric on his bed and grabbed a notebook and a pencil.Sitting at his desk,he began to sketch out concepts.

'No...no....no...'

He wasn't sure how long he'd been drawing.Maybe an hour,hours.

He let out a tired sigh as he pressed his face against the desk.What even went into making a superhero costume?Maybe he could connect it to his 'origin story'.

Thank you,Spiderman.

Bakugou had really called him a superhero...Spiderman sure sounded like a good alias.

Feeling sudden determination,he picked the pencil up once more and started to sketch out his costume.

-

Mid-way through sewing,Shouto's phone rang,causing him to accidentally slip and stab himself slightly with the needle.He picked up his phone and looked at the caller.

'Unknown caller'

"Hello?"

"Are we gonna fight again or what,Half and Half?"

Shouto nearly dropped his phone,"Um,y-yeah!I'm just busy today.Can we do it tommorow?"

"Busy with what?"shit

He thought to Shuzenji Chiyo."I'm going to visit my grandmother."

Bakugou groaned,"Fineeeee."He hung up.

Shouto slapped a hand over his erratic heart,trying to calm down his breathing.'Did Midoriya give Bakugou my number?!'That was the most logical explanation.

Shaking his head rapidly,he went back to sewing.'You can spend time with Bakugou later.'The thought made him more giddy than he'd like to admit to anyone.

Enji scowled at the article he was reading in his newspaper."Web-shooting human...probably some kind of criminal!"

"I don't think so,sir."Said one of his photographers-he hadn't bothered learning his name."He saved an elderly woman from being robbed."

Enji grunted,folding his newspaper down."What was he doing there anyway?Maybe planning to rob that elderly woman himself!"

The photographers shrugged,"I don't know,sir."

"You don't know anything."How was he supposed to run a newspaper if his workers we're so incompotent?

Shouto looked at his costume,feeling rather proud of himself as he stashed it away in his closet.'I wonder when i'll use this'.

He walked out of to see Natsuo still on the couch,watching tv with a worried expression on his face.

"A man with giant metallic octopus tentacles is running around the city,destroying anything in his path and appears to be have no stop in sight!"One of the news anchor's announced,a smaller screen displaying said man,"Ladies and gentlemen,this is incredible!Like something out of a comic book!"

"He's nearly killing people."The other new's anchor pointed out.

Shouto din't hear the rest of as he bolted to his room and locked the door,hearing Natsuo yell 'bro!'.Then he knocked on Shouto's door.

"It's okay if you're scared.I am too."

"I'm fine!"He awnsered as he undressed himself."I'm gonna sleep until its over,okay?"He tugged his costume out.

"Okay..."He was still outside the door as Shouto put on his costume.Shouto looked outside the window,making sure nobody was looking and put on his mask.

Carefully,he positioned himself on the window and took in a shaky breath.'Okay,Shouto,you can do this...'

Aim.Thumb,fore and pinky finger out.Ring and middle finger in.

He swung himself onto the next building,nearly face planting but his reflexes saved him.

Shouto had never been more thankful that he wasn't scared of heights as he swung the city buildings with his webs in search of the metal octopus man.It was rather fun,actually.Had he gotten stronger than before?Maybe that was how he had managed to lift up Bakugou so easily.

Maniacal laughter made it's way to Shouto's ears and he swung in the direction of it as quickly as he could.Thankfully,it din't take long.

"Hey!"Shouto tried to deepen his voice as he called out to the man,who surprisingly turned to him.He had pale blue hair,red eyes and looked like he hadn't used soap once in his life.

"A kid!"He snarled,"Get out of here,brat,before i destroy you!"

Shouto responded by shooting webbing onto his tentacles,bringing them all together and causing the man to fall flat on his back along with his invention.A stunned silence followed before the citizens started cheering and gathering around him.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!"

"THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!"

"Who are you?"

Shouto smiled,overwhelmed at all the positive attention."You can call me Spiderman."

That was humiliating.

Defeated by a man in multicolored spandex on your first attack!

"Spiderman."Tomura spat out,"You will face my wrath."

"Oh by the way,i'm gonna hang out with my friends after school."Shouto mentioned as he put on his shoes.

Mom beamed,"You made new friends?!"

"Yeah.Sero,Kaminari,Mina,Tsuyu,Iida,Uraraka,Kirishima,Hagakure and Bakugou."He listed them off.

Mom looked like she was about to start barfing rainbows."Oh Shouto!"She hugged tightly,"I'm glad you're talking to your classmates!"

"Yeah,me too,Mom."The hug was a bit constricting.

She released him,still beaming."This is great!"

He smiled back,droopy eyed."Well...bye."

"Good luck at school!"She called to him as he walked down the hall.He waved in response.

Shouto offered the receptionist a chocolate bar when he made it down stairs.They blinked in surprise and took it,smiling.

"Thank you,Shouto."It felt odd that they called him by his first name but not bad.If he remembered correctly,their own first name was Shizuka.

"You're welcome.See you after school!"He walked out of the building.

Shouto jumped as his spider sense suddenly went off.A few seconds later,he saw the octopus man heading in a certain direction.The direction of the school.

Shouto ran into a random empty ally,putting on his costume over his clothes and leaving his backpack behind as he swung towards him.

The man suddenly turned towards him,grinning sinisterly."Well,if it isn't Spiderman-"He was cut off by Shouto shooting webbing onto his mouth from his place sticking to the side of a building.He coughed violently and Shouto took the opportunity to tie up his extensions once again.

"Spiderman!"

"WE LOVE YOU!"A random fan yelled as he swung away.

"Spiderman appeared again!"He heard Kirishima eagerly say as he approached his friends."Manly as always!"

"You've seen him twice."Bakugou deadpanned.

"Still!"

"Dude,what's with your hair?"Sero laughed as he saw Shouto,who began tidying up his hair in response.

"Todoroki,you're still up for the arcade,right?"Bakugou asked.

Shouto nodded,smiling and heart in his throat.

Bakugou actually smiled back,causing Shouto's heart to nearly skip a beat.The other four looked at him jaw-slacked.

"Dude!"Kaminari whispered,"Bakugou's smiling!"

"I know!"Ashido whispered back.

"I can hear you."A now irritated Bakugou said,"I'm deaf but that dosen't mean ya gotta be fuckin' rude."

The two smiled sheepishly.

"Iida,i forgot my book.Can you share yours with me?"Kirishima asked worriedly.Iida nodded eagerly.

"Of course!As class rep,i'm always happy to help a classmate!"

Kirishima smiled at his response.Shouto looked at them curiously.

Did Kirishima have a crush on Iida?Iida was a very nice guy so it wasn't too much of a stretch.

Kirishima practically curled himself up to Iida so they could read from his book.He touched Iida's arm,who blushed furiously."Man,you're ripped!"

"T-t-thank you."Iida clumsily adjusted his glasses.

'Kirishima sure is a bold person.'

"Shouto,i was wondering if you'd like come visit me and my wife."Shouto blinked in surprise at Shizuka's words but nodded as he registered them properly,hitching up his backpack.

"Yes,that would be nice.I'm hanging out with my friends today so i'll be there tommorow."

"Lovely,dear."

Shouto smiled,finishing his way down the stairs.

"Have fun,dear!"They called to him as got out the door.

"Thanks!I will!"

"Hey,Bakugou,Midoriya!"Shouto greeted them as he saw them loitering by the arcade entrance.

"Todoroki!"Bakugou stood straight,"Let's play."

"I'll go get snacks."Midoriya said as they entered,walking towards a cashere.

Shouto and Bakugou settled on a zombie shooting game.

"How you doin',Half and Half?"

"Just fine.How about you?"

"Pffft!I got this."

Midoriya watched them,entranced and eating a hot dog.

"Midoriya,soda me!"

Midoriya put the soda near Shouto's mouth and he drank without taking his eyes off the screen.

"I call next turn."

Shouto turned his head so fast his neck almost made a cracking noise.'Yaoyorozu?!'

It was her.

"Todoroki!"She seemed just as surprised as he was.

"Oi!"Bakugou said in annoyance,"Pay attention to the game!"

"Right,sorry-"

They finished their turn,Shouto still stunned at such a strict-seeming person like Yaoyorozu was into violent video games.She was most likely thinking the same of him,actually.

"Here."Shouto said as he handed her his gun and she smiled awkawardly in return.

"I'm not holding back,ponytail."Bakugou said.

Yaoyorozu gave him a hardened expression,"Neither will i."

Judging by how good she was at it,this was a regular thing for her.She bit her lip so hard Shouto was surprised it din't start bleeding.

Suddenly,Shouto's spider sense went off.He wipped his head towards the arcade entrance and as if on cue,the earth shook.

"Fuck!"Bakugou said.

"SPIIIIIDEEEEERMAAAAAN!!!!!!!"

Shouto bolted to the bathroom and heard Midoriya call out to him.He locked the door as he began undressing himself and tried to ignore the knocking.

"Todoroki,come out!We gotta get out of here!"

"I'll hide in here!"He insisted as he pulled up his costume.

"That's a terrible ideAAAAAAAAA!!"Shouto heard a loud sound,then screaming from multiple people and rapid running.

Shouto dressed even quicker and climbed up the wall and out the window.He made his way to the side of the arcade,seeing that the octopus man had crashed down part of the roof and that everyone was scrambling to get out-Including Midoriya,Bakugou and Yaoyorozu.

"Hey,Octopus Man!"He said in a deeper voice,"Why don't pick on someone your own size?",he squinted,"Maybe bigger,actually."

Perhaps that wasn't the smartest thing to say,seeing as the octopus man turned red in the face and launched one of his tentacles at him for that.

"The name's Doc Oc."Octopus Ma-Doc Oc snarled as Shouto dodged,landing next to the crowd,"And you're about to be squashed,bug boy."

The next tentacle caught a civilian,a blonde civilian-

BAKUGOU.Shouto managed to slap his hands over his mouth before he let out a yell.

"PUT ME DOWN,YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

Shouto tried to web up Doc Oc's tentacles like he did the last two times but was pinned to a wall by two of them.He struggled to break free but din't have to for long,thanks to someone throwing a rather thick book at Doc Oc's head,causing him to accidentally open up the tentacle that was holding Bakugou.

Shouto shot himself towards Bakugou,catching him bridal style and made a web bed under them to prevent them from falling.

"SPIDERMAN!"Bakugou said in shock.

Shouto simply nodded to him,pretending he wasn't freaking out on the inside('I'M CARRYING BAKUGOU,HOLY SHIT')."I'm going to put us down now."He kept his deep voice.

Bakugou responded by wrapping his arms around his neck for safety and Shouto melted like a marshmallow(what was it about Bakugou that gave him such cheesy thoughts?).

Taking advantage of Doc Oc's disorientation,Shouto cocooned him before placing himself and Bakugou back on solid ground.

Bakugou din't let him go,looking at him with an stunned expression.

"You can let go now."Shouto said,voice deep.

Bakugou blinked rapidly,jumping away from him."Right!"

"Spiderman!"Midoriya and Yaoyorozu shouted from behind him and it was only then he noticed that all eyes were on him,staring in awe.He turned to his two friends.

"Pleasure to meet you,citizens,but my work here is done so now i must go!"He swung away before anyone could protest.

"Todoroki!"Midoriya said eagerly as Shouto came out of the bathroom,"Thank God,you're okay!"He looked like he wanted to hug him.He then perked up,"We saw Spiderman!"

"Yeah,i heard him."Shouto placed a hand on the back of his head,"Wish I'd gotten some pictures."

"You'll get them next time."Yaoyorozu reassured him.

"Thanks."Shouto suddenly had an idea,"We should all exchange phone numbers."

Yaoyorozu blinked in surprise,"Sure!"
