Maturity is realizing that Sasuke never 'gave into evil' but was actually a child who witnessed the literally massacre of his whole family by his older brother who he looked up to and THEN was forced to relieve it for hours by him and the same brother then lied to him to get him to be obsessed with becoming stronger,got no help for his trauma afterwards and in fact had his bad symptoms enabled for years and gr00med into joining a ped0phile as a not even 13 year old and isolated from his friends for years by him so one of the biggest victim's of Konoha's child soldier and general miltary system and that Sakura's desperation to get him back wasn't toxic but her genuinely trying to help him in the best way she knew how to and OFFERED TO DEFECT KONOHA JOIN HIS SIDE because that's how much she cared about him,not purely out of crush but out of the friendship that bloomed between them in the og series

Maturity is also realizing that Bakugou dosen't deserve brownies points for the bare minimum of not going supervillain after a life of privilige because he got some mean online comments one time for assaulting his classmate he KNEW was an abuse victim and getting so pissed afterwards he literally acted like a killer animal and even months of 'character development' later still having the AUDACITY to be a dick to the same classmate's best friend and pseudo-girlfriend who's objectively a million times more of a hero than he could ever be

Bnha would've been based if OFA didn't exist and Shouto was the protagonist so it would star him,Izuku and Momo as the main trio with the story being about the Todofam's trauma,Izuku as a disabled pro-hero in the sense of being quirkless and Momo learning her self-worth and being radicalized by her experiences.That's so much better than abuse apologism no academia

Dabi's disabled pretty boy swag and twunk rep really blinds y'all to his actual personality.He's never even looked in Hawks direction with anything but 'Your vibes are beyond rancid,you're growing black mold' energy and his cluster b ass has too much self-worth to date him after him going full cop complete with an inaguration speech on his first best friend slash situationship,that being Jin,he's a straight edge punk specifically,he loves Rei and his siblings with his whole heart and soul but thanks to Enji the world ruined him too much for even him to realize that,he's Red Hood-adjacent and The Joker is a less than nothing character compared to him,he's part south asian for other reason than i feel like it,he's closer to Himiko than he is to Shigaraki,Momo would've fixed him and he would've made her worse in a found siblings way where the older one is also a pseudo-parental figure because that's the natural order of being an eldest and Shouto and them would've been a trio if Horikoshi knew how to write women and abuse stories like a decent person.And that's on reading comprehension and writing experience

I love when Hawks riders call LOV stans stupid or accuse us of having double standards when we're okay with the LOV killing people but not Hox killing Jin.Babygirl a bunch of disabled people,one of who is a teenage girl,having excellent points against the in-universe society they live in but also being made into serial killers to 'prove they're actually wrong in the end' are infinitely better and more worth rewriting characters than an ugly blonde guy who grew up being fed lies about minorities and when presented with the reality that we're actually good people choose to kill one of us for being 'too dangerous' yet is friends with a domestic and child abuser celebrity who believes in eugenics because he looked up to him as a kid and thinks he can change based soley off that.I'm not a 'Dabi apologist',i'm immune to most propaganda

Okay but y'know who would've been the perfect character to use as a secondary foil to Dabi in addition to Shouto being the first instead of Bird Bitch?Momo.Their upbringings are significantly different but not entierly-Momo was abused by her parents with adultification and verbally abused by them in a way that's so normalized that she has no clue of either of those things even happened to her,Dabi was abused by Endeavor in the classic way with constant verbal degragation and physical assaults.And they both had the same motivation and justification behind them:They wanted them to be the perfect child.Momo's abusers in the sense of her becoming the ideal proper 'mature' woman,Dabi's abuser in the sense of the most powerful hero.They parallel eachother in a contrasting way and so do their trauma responses by extension and their dynamic has so much untapped potential that i genuinely think it's one of Horikoshi's dropping the ball moment's that he never had them share a bond or at least pointed out their different similarities

It's shown that despite his lack of care for strangers generally,Dabi looks out for his own.He treats Toga like his little sister because she had a rough childhood due to her quirk too and his best friendship with Jin is so tender and strong that it borderlines on romantic and we all saw what he did and said to Hawks for his ableism motivated murder of him and it's not a coincidence that he's even more brotherly to Toga and unhinged after that event specifically.In addition to their shared history of parental abuse,Momo herself also has a bunch of disorders which unlike with Jin were not intentional-Let's be honest,if Horikoshi had made her autistic,adhd,anxiety and ocd intentionally,i don't even wanna think about how horrifically she would've been treated by both other characters and the narrative-but are too intertwined with her story to remove them and still have her be in-character so it's fun and interesting to think of Momo and Dabi having to interact with eachother due to her being a heroine in training and him a villain who's team's main enemies are friends and mentors

Both of them have also not fully escaped the treatment they got growing up-Momo was given a costume that was blatantly meant to sexualize her and gets put in charge of leading her classmates into war as literal child soldiers,Dabi still dosen't get believed as a victim of his father because he's 'too mean' to count as one.I would love to see stories of them slowly accidentally befriending eachother right after the Bakugou rescue arc and Dabi helping Momo see hero society isn't fair or kind to her either and Momo realizing just how often it is that situations like Dabi's happen-Hell,she helped rescue someone who's the same as Endeavor,only on a smaller scale.I don't think she'd instantly go villain nor that Dabi would force her to but the prelude to the war arc has her getting kicked out by her parents for standing up to them and because they found out she's been doing vigilanteism so she joins him because she knows he's right and because he's treated her better than almost every other adult in her life and in turn,she's made him realize that not every hero is thrown into it willingly and are just hurt kids like he used to be and that they're the real ones.'Creati' becomes 'Destruct' but before this all unfolds,we get Shouto and Momo being closer than ever as the series progresses due to the differences in Momo's plot and Dabi's involvement in it pulling Shouto into their orbits and Todomomo goes from a subtle but potent romance to a constant and in your face 'They're soulmates by choice' type of beat in the best and healthiest way possible

Momo gets to be written as a multidimensional teen girl character with no demonization for being an anti-heroine and not be erased as the second real first friend Shouto made in favor of a lifelong bully who told his number one victim to kill himself and Dabi gets to redeem himself by being the good older brother he never got to be as Touya and entering rehibilitation after the war ends because he refuses to die after getting to save Jin from Hawks so they can live out the rest of their lives together.Breaking the cycle of abuse is a much better story than shonen fuckery bullshit disguised as superhero homages when in reality it's disrespecting the history behind and core of comics

So i keep imagining this as The Tea Trio reuniting after Izuku's been away training with Toshinori for a month and that gave Shouto and Momo the opportunity to finally confront their romantic feelings and get together but they didn't get the chance to tell him even now and Momo assumes he can tell despite all his hints he dosen't because she may be a genius but that dosen't mean she's not stupid and Shouto dosen't tell him because he thinks it's funny

Crazy that it's a common and accepted opinion amongst Dabihox shippers that the m/f romances in Bnha are bad and that their ship is better in comparison.Izuocha had some flaws but they got fixed up pretty easily now that Ochako's been allowed to shine again,Bakujirou's giving bi tomboys who grew up crushing on edgy dudes their rights,Kirimina out there on some 2000s disney cartoon shit(/pos)and Todomomo's is just untouchable with how much healthiness,angst,comedy AND cuteness it has and then there's how Dabi is a disabled punk while Hox is a cop who murdered Dabi's best friend because he thought having DID meant he deserved it.Bnha girls stans may left foodless sometimes but these niggas are straight up needing medical attention😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
