Kung Kin is special and gets to have 2 Spirit Kaiju...mostly because these two are the best duo.

So, Kung Jin found them both (After running away from home) at the same place with Gigan being fossilized like in the Final Wars film and Megalon protecting him. Things happen, they bond with him.

He calls Megalon Jiǎchóng (beetle) and Gigan Gōu (Hook).

Out of the two, Gōu seems to be the more mature, leadery one and Jiǎchóng the more playful one, always trying to get the other two to play with him when he gets bored.

Omg, I remember that episode of “It’s Me or the Dog!” 😂 Victoria is a dog trainer in the show, and she was helping that family stop the family dog who was obsessed with human food and training him to resist the temptation of unattended food on the counter. 🤣

Now, aside from Kaiju!Trey (as they’re not exactly in a good environment or have the same process to make certain ingredients to attempt baking), I can definitely see Monster!Trey and Deity!Trey being used to the swarm of hungry dorm members drooling at the chance to get a bite of baked deliciousness. The moment Grim and Yuu (any of them) come into the picture though, he thinks it’s quite adorable how the two are almost always there, eagerly awaiting the “Go ahead” for them to dig into the tray. 

Oh, there’s a specific pastry that Yuu really misses from home and hasn’t been able to find in Twisted Wonderland? Just describe it to him and he’ll find the closest recipe possible and make sure it tastes the same. Nothing brings about feelings of warmth and comfort than a little taste of home, right? (The first time he does this for Yuu, I can see them crying like Chihiro from Spirited Away did when she was eating the rice ball with Haku nearby ;;v;; )

Meanwhile, Cater’s having a blast recording the reactions and posting to Magicam! Yuu and Grim sitting at the counter eagerly waiting for the treats to come out, resisting the urge to swipe the closest one, then happily humming while eating? Captured on camera~! Mini!Yuu and Grim sitting side-by-side watching the goodies bake in the Monster!AU? Or a video of the tiny toddler asking, “When are the yummies going to be ready?” while staring up at big brother Trey? Both got so many likes and reblogs that it momentarily caused Magicam to crash! 😂

Or how about teen/adult!Yuu (or even mini!Yuu…I just love wholesome cuteness regardless of the AU, darnit!!!) and Grim watching the stone-brick ovens churn out treat after treat as the God of Summer whips up more dough and batter faster than the eye can blink in the Deity!AU, Cater’s always there to capture the moment. He swears it’s like watching two adorable puppies waiting impatiently for their food, while Trey enjoys having the chance to spoil someone other than the members of his pantheon with baked goods! (And of course, he and Monster!AU Trey are more notorious than canon Trey when it comes to teeth hygiene for various reason. Can’t let those chompers get worn down by too much sugar and lack of care!)

Whichever AU they’re in (well, except the Kaiju!AU like I said, since I’m not even sure how they’d go about baking even if our intrepid little human figured out how to do it), Trey is always going to be the one who can whip up anything Yuu can imagine to help them feel at home. It’s not much, but if he can somehow bring a little taste of home to a lonely human/mortal, then that’s all that really matters to him in the end.

Just a thought/ idea for the sundown era au !! But since this story happens before season 4 i cant help but imagine something big & dangerous happening thus unleashing mk giant monkey kaiju form

Like the ivory lady/lady bone demon long LONG term plan finally getting into action . She manages to steal some of the emperor powers ( cause in this au monkey king is even more powerfull so getting all of them would be hard ) and everyone is like "oh shit"

But then mk just goes ape-shit cause he already dealed with the lady bone demon in his universe and now he gotta deal with this one ? ( alright then ) turns into his kaiju form with 3 tails and just squashes her like a bug // gives back the stolen power to sun wukong AND hugs & clings to macaque cause while h definitely squashed the evil spirit for good this time there is still trauma and stuff

And now monkey king is kinda regretting his choice of not claiming mk like macaque did especially cause mk looks like macaque but with his atitude and its pulling at his heartstrings

Macaque introduces himself

Spider Queens get exorcised, LBD reveal

ACT 3, PILGRIM: about half a year, S3 in spirit but almost every plot gets scrapped cus its just filler anyway

they aren't on a ""journey to the west"", they are gathering allies and tools to use against LBD and Macaque

plan is, burn the motherfuckers with the Samadhi fire with the help of the four dragon king's armies to spread the fire with rain, and use some artifacts to then control the fire and put it out

drastic measure but it do be drastic times

LBD used the skeleton key to open the gates of the Diyu, so the world is slowly getting overrun by runaway spirits, as well as channeling the waters from it to freeze the land

apparently Macaque wants to consume every living thing he's trapped to fuel something, and nobody is sure what

anyway it's crisis politics time, nobody is having fun, everything sucks

time to check in with the past pilgrims for advice and some tricks they know, Monkie gang power up time

the dragon king of the north and his family are missing, time to find them

Shen Gongbao intro, he's involved but they figure it out

it's also time to draft some immortals, we love owing favors to people in this house amiright??

Mayor starts to think the henchman career isn't for him, time to dip

he fucks a plan cus he uses a pill of immortality to heal himself but oops the gang needed that

Mayor spills the beans on Macaque's plan, MK gets impulsive and runs off to face LBD

S3 special time except not

MK exchanges himself for the girl LBD got possessed, which builds the group time to wrap up lose ends

final battle time, hoards of the underworld versus whatever immortals got convinced to help despite going against the Jade Emperor's decree

MK sends a clone with his staff before he loses control back to the gang

Mei in dragon form fighting possessed MK, so that Red Son and Nezha can take a shot at MK to exorcise LBD out of him, Erlang and Muzha helping to hold Macaque back

MK gets shot with the Samadhi Fire, to explosive results

MK vs Macaque kaiju monkey battle time

Macaque gets nuked, LBD gets carbonized, Mayor dies saving people from the city before the fires get to them

everything is put back where it belongs, but there's a lot of loose ends to wrap up, ends in a bittersweet note

ACT 4, IMMORTAL: two years, S4 solely in name, basically a full overhaul lmao

oh man oh man shits gonna hit the fan lmao

the city is saved and the bad guys are gone; time for Consequences

Jade Emperor isnt very happy with the amount of unauthorized actions taken just now

MK goes to fucking trial for the crime of saving the world, it goes as well as one would think

luckily Guanyin comes in clutch and gets his sentence lightened to "community service"

there is an absurd amount of undead still walking around, which means MK has to get on that

also yknow. the devastating amount of damage in the mortal AND celestial realm

MK is given an assignment in the heavenly bureocracy, to help keep him in check and accountable to stuff. is great innit.

another part of his job is, dealing with Wukong's past sworn brotherhood cus they've been uppity since Macaque's attack and threatening to break the human-demon truce

Qi "two dads nuclear family" Xiaotian learns to deal with distant extended family relations with very specific social cues. again, goes as well as expected

under all that, Red Son still hasn't been able to get the missing memories situation fixed

also turns out even Wukong doesn't remember who MK was but he used to know. he doesn't anymore. and he doesn't know what happened. Red Son did not like learning that.

the celebration of Ulhambana in the Celestial Realm is approaching, and Red Son thinks he can get himself and MK invited to it so they can yknow, ask Buddha wtf is going on

so yknow, time to earn the trust of the Celestial Realm again, in a year. that's doable right? ahahah

and because he doesn't have enough on his plate, MK traded off a lot of his merits in exchange for LBD and Mayor speedrunning their time in hell so they can be reborn under his care

MK becomes An Uncle, what could possibly go wrong!

How did soft CJ got turned into a kaiju?

It all started with soft CJ camping in the woods woods with his friends, they like to hang out with each other since they're in a group, They been singing some songs, talk about other stuff, but then one of his friends told a story about a strange mystery of a giant monster transformations, they said that everytime they see a strange giant skull in the middle of the forest, then whoever touches it will become a giant monster forever.

Soft CJ was scared about that story thought if it'll be real, but ruby confront CJ that it's just a story to scare people with. Soft CJ calmed down a bit but still worried about that curse story about turning into a giant monster part.

Soft ruby got up and told them she's going to get some more wood for the fire, soft CJ asked if he wanted to join her, she agreed and let soft CJ follow her, while the rest was waiting for them to come back.

Soft CJ and ruby starts to collect some wood for the fire but that's where he heard howling from some pack of wolves, ruby saw them surrounding the two of them, CJ was pretty scared and then he saw the open exit and ran away as fast as he can and ruby followed him while the wolf pack followed them to eat them.

While Soft CJ wasn't looking, he was heading towards the enormous kaiju skull and it's glowing like it's ready to be touched by him, ruby warned her best friend but it's to late, he touched it by accident and then it got him good, ruby rush towards CJ and ask if he's alright he said he's alright, but he also felt a bit funny that his body feels weird.

His mask changed to mouth like moving mask which it surprised ruby that his mask changed to that detail of his mask, but then, soft CJ felt his body became bigger while transforming and it made ruby backed up during soft CJ's transformation, his hands are now fluffy hand paws, his shoes turned into very fluffy feet, he now has spikes on his back, now has cyan horns, a long fluffy tail, and long fluffy ears, he got up and rubbed his head a bit and then looks at himself, ruby was shocked about his new form, but then the wolves find them and was about to eat ruby, but soft CJ saw them and roared at the wolves and it made them retreat in fear.

Ruby looked at CJ in a bit of fear, but soft CJ gently picks her up and confronts his best friend with his soft paws, she smiled and glad that his best friend's still here, but then soft CJ looked at the skull that turned him into a kaiju, he also picked it up and observes it, but then the skull had yellow eyes and looked at soft CJ.

The skull told him about his new kaiju form and said that it's not to bad but it had some ups and downs with the form, soft CJ wanted to turn back to normal, but he also wanted to protect his friends and not gonna be a scary cat to his friends, the kaiju skull asked if he wanted to turn back to normal, he ask if he wanted to turn back to normal, soft CJ replied that he'll stay like this and tried to get use to it to protect his friends and people he cared about.

The kaiju spirit nodded his decision and turned his skull forn into a spirit form and left in the flash.

After came back from the camp, they saw soft CJ as a giant monster, ruby told them not to be afraid of him since he's now a kaiju, they went closer to Soft CJ and starts to enjoy his fluffiness.

After a few minutes of fluffy moments, they decided to sleep on Soft CJ since he's now a giant kaiju, they'll be warm with his kaiju form, it made soft CJ smiled and let them sleep on any warm spots on his fluffiness, everyone fell asleep and so did ruby and CJ starting to enjoy his new kaiju form.

And that's how he got turned into a kaiju

Well Guys, I finally did it.

After several months, I finally got to write the first page, the very beginning of the whole story just like I promised!! AAAAA!!! Prologue

In the earliest days of earth, giants roamed the earth.

Not just giants, but gods.

Ancient deities in the forms of great creatures that could touch the sky and shake the earth with every step they took. All of each were made from an essence of life itself and with that, they were the very forces of nature.

Some of them soar through the skies and played amongst the clouds, their piercing sounds of battle cries and their way of mirthful laughter filling the air. Some of them wandered and hid within the deepest depths of the sea, dwelling and moving all around the planet through the oceans as their pathways, for the water is their guide, their power and their home. Some of them are the very mountains themselves, they camouflage into the earth, the howling winds within the peaks are the sounds of their slumber and the rumbling quakes are the signs of their awakening.

These creatures, the kaijus as they are called, have been here since the beginning of time. They have seen the first and the last ages of the dinosaurs, they have seen the first sunrise and first moonrise, they have seen the first storms and the first plants sprout from the ground.

They have seen many things and have been through many things, and the coming of humanity is one of them.

During this age, humans have looked up to them, have worshipped them as gods and guardians but there were some they have seen them as terrorizing monsters. These humans have witnessed and came across these titans, they have made stories of them, carved and painted them into stone and walls of caverns, silently hoping that one day, as generations go by, they would be found.

As time went by, the kaijus have watched over humanity. The rising of civilizations, the creative cultures and ways of life they have developed, the wars they fought and the alliances they’ve made, the gods and spirits or whatever supernatural forces they chose to follow, so much they have seen within humanity.

Some kaijus have grown weary of them, some had adored and sworn to protect them, some were just simply neutral about their existence.

But things began to change.

As the ages of colonization, modernization, and spread of religion emerged, it became a sign that humans were beginning to take over the world, the home of the kaijus. The ones they have once been admired and feared as powerful gods were now turning into nothing but strange beasts that must be taken down and it brought dread and betrayal to them. One day, the daikaiju grew weaker, their form and their power, and soon, they suddenly and mysteriously disappeared. The only traces left of them being the stories documented down, the carvings and paintings left on walls, and nature itself.

However, this was not their end, for Mother Earth has decided to given them another chance.

They will be reborn and live once more but in the form of humans. For a lesson and reason they will have to figure out.

Among the kaijus, there was a burning soul that Mother Earth had in her mind the most for the longest time. A Titan brewed and created from the very magma and power of her core, who could touch the sky and shake the earth all at once.

His name was Rodan.

This bright little spirit, warmer than the sun itself, was so special to her. He always has been. She had sensed great potential within this one, an opportunity to greatness awaits him within his upcoming lifetime as a human.

Yes, she had loved all her children dearly, but she had felt so much fondness and hope for the fire Titan. She had been heartbroken to know of all the pain and suffering he will have to go through the majority of his life, she had seen it from the very beginning. However, she also knows that it will not last forever, for she had seen into his future and couldn’t be any more proud of him.

Rodan will change everything for them; the kaijus and humanity all together. He will restore balance to the world. He will make the kaijus realize their true selves and make them aware of their full potential of who they are. He will find peace within himself and will come across others who will bring goodness and joy into his life. Truly, a bright future awaits, for all of them.

He could save them. She believes, truly deep within her soul and heart, he will.

He just won’t know it yet until he gets there…

Is Ortho a sort of artificial Kaiju in your AU ro is he a type of Kaiju with the ability to use surrounding materials as a sort of armour. Because his real form is too small.

That is a very good question! I’m gonna put this under a read more just in case since there is a bit of angst in here that might make people uncomfortable, but keep in mind that some ideas may change over time if something better comes to mind.

If I have to tag it a specific way, please let me know and I’ll do so! There’s also mostly spoilers for the secondary antagonist(s) in the story, but at some point I’ll see about doing a post for these antagonists…or I might introduce them in one of the later chapters~ >v>

I’m still fleshing out some of the details on him, but for the most part—much like his normal self in game—Ortho in this AU is artificial…and yet in the same breath, he isn’t.

In the early days, Ortho was a normal Kaiju just like his brother who grew up on the Isle of Woe and traveled to the Isle of Sages at some point when they (aka Idia) were in their early teens searching for a safe place to call home. Given how emotionally shut down Idia was even amongst the most anti-social Kaiju, one had to wonder: what exactly happened to the two, and why did Idia keep this mechanical version of his brother so close? If you were to ask, all you’d get from him would be two words:

The Precursors…

No one knows what these beings are or how they came to be. No one has even seen what they look like outside of their metal shells that closely resembled humans wearing masks and carrying electro staves. Yet one thing was for sure: they moved in synch, working together in such unison that it was as if they were one being. They behaved like…a hive mind. And they were dangerous.

Were you to ask the older Kaiju themselves, it might come as a shock to learn that they fear these smaller beings due to the terrible things that they can (and have) done to their Kaiju in the past. Were they originally the creators of these giant beasts? No one can say for sure as it had been so long since the Precursors have been seen, very few Kaiju remaining from that time that even remember the truth of their origins. However…there is no mistaking that the very experiments they did has left a very real horror that still lives on even in the younger generations.

A horror that would result in the appearance of phantom Kaiju.

So…what does this have to do with Ortho? Well, messing with the very DNA of Kaiju wasn’t the only thing that was happening. After all, how else would they figure out the resiliency of these massive titans? Or perhaps they wanted to see how a mechanical version of one of the Kaiju would be received by other Kaiju? We may never truly learn what their intentions were…

How Ortho’s mind managed to survive through this ordeal is difficult to say: natural Kaiju resiliency? Sheer determination? Or sheer force of will and spirit to not leave his big brother alone in the world? Who knows. Yet, somehow, he managed to hold on to that child/cub-like joy and innocence as he follows his older brother around the Isle of Sages, consuming a mixture of organic and inorganic materials to maintain his new form over the years and utilizing energy sources around the island to stay online.

In fact, Yuu manages to see him chowing down on some metal ships from afar, during the first chapter when they’re trying to figure out how to climb down from their mountain-view “home”! The metal that constitutes his body is considered to be “living metal”, which slowly regenerates with the nanites that the Precursors installed. Consuming pure metal or even metal ores from rocks can actually help speed up this recovery too by providing the nanites in his system the materials needed, hence why he doesn’t require maintenance to replace missing or broken parts.

Like I said, I’m still working out some of the finer details behind Ortho since it would be much harder for Idia to be tech savvy in this AU (though in a way they do have their own “tech”), but I can say for sure that he’s not completely mechanical nor is he completely organic anymore. He’s still the sweet, adorable bean we all know and love, just in Kaiju form and with trauma for him and Idia!

How would you rewrite the YuYuYu series (main story + spinoffs)? There aren't much fix-it fanfic for it, and the ones that do exist are all dead fics by now. I'm intending on writing a fix-it au myself, taking main inspiration from pretty cure and random Rival's songs. However, as I don't have much skills in writing and I don't have time either (my country schools is a bunch of monster honestly), I was hoping to find some way to cope with my pain after watching all of the yuyuyu seasons (even the horrid 3rd season).

Since you've already save the Hero Club and some of the other Heroes from the show... How about rewriting the series as a whole? To channel all your spite at how shitty the Taisha and the God tree of pedophiles *Shinju-sama* are?

Oh, boy... it's been a while. I may be a little rusty, so I apologize in advance if anything's off...

Alright, before we get started, I'd like to point out some things about this reboot:

NO post-apocalyptic world. It'll be set in the present day, with all of the other countries and continent still intact;

NO ableism. The other heroines won't lose their body parts while fighting;

NO magically-healing disabilities. Tougo will be a wheelchair user from beginning to end, and her magic will properly accomodate her disability;

NO nationalism/militarism. The themes in this reboot will be environmental/ecological;

NO sexualization of minors. 'Nuff said.

With that out of the way, let's get this show on the road:

The Shinju/Divine Tree is an ancient mystic tree of unfathomable power that sustains the whole world. Unfortunately, due to humanity's carelessness, it's defenses have been weakened, giving the Taisha an opportunity to strike.

The Taisha are an evil cult; the very personification of humanity's greatest sins (greed, industrialization, deflorestation, etc...). Their goal is to seize the Shinju and its powers all to themselves, so they can bring forth a New World Order.

And to ensure that no one dares to stop their plans of conquest, they create the monstruous Vertexes, kaiju-sized beasts that were concieved through dark magic to cleanse the world of its impurities. In desperation, the Shinju spreads its magic seeds throughout the world, in search of young pure-hearted and well-intentioned humans to make them bloom.

In Japan, lives a young girl named Yuuki Yuuna. Lively, energetic a little bit scatterbrained, she inspires herself in the ideals of heroes, so she joins an after-school club called the Hero Club with other four girls, dedicating themselves to do community services for their beloved town.

Until one day, she stumbles accross a goofy and chunky cow-looking creature that introduces themselves as Fairy/Spirit born from the Shinju. They alert Yuuna of the Taisha's schemes and gift her with a compact mirror known as a Terminal, that allows her to transform and communicate with other Guardians.

The plot twist is that the other members of the Hero Club were already granted with their own Fairies and Terminals, and they were eagerly waiting for the newbie Yuuna to be blessed with her own powers so they could explain to her the whole story to her.

And so, the whole story is about Yuuna meeting several other Guardians and going on a journey learning what it really means to be a hero.

I was personally inspired by Puella Magi Magia Record, HeartCatch PreCure and Healin' Good PreCure when I wrote this draft. You may as use this as a base for your concept, if you please!

1. "what if final fantasy x but with the magnus archives characters" aka the result of miri asking 'i had a mental image of jon doing the Sending and where's my jonmartin ffx au' aka clutching a map of dreams, the fic that has taken up the better part of the past 2 yrs and 8 months of my life. if you like tma and you also like fantasy epics like lord of the rings this is the fic for you. (i mean this very literally because the final word count pretty much equals that of LOTR lmao)!! Martin is swept away by a mysterious kaiju death monster into a stagnant future where things have gone Horribly Wrong and crosses paths with Jon who is a summoner tasked to go on a pilgrimage to somehow calm the aforementioned kaiju death monster. JRPG adventures, the world's saddest hiking trip, slowburn romance, found family and MANY revelations about why the world is the way it is ensue, also featuring the author wrestling with the concepts of sacrifice and responsibility and blame and where those all intersect with The Greater Good(tm) and how people's intent to do good or to atone for real or imagined wrongs can be manipulated by others and twisted to other purposes. there are only 6 updates to go until the fic is over so now is a good time to jump in and binge it. if u wanna [ eyes emoji ] honestly this is the first time i've even attempted to write something this long let alone FINISHED it and if i do say so myself i did a good job making sure that the plot made sense and that all the foreshadowing and callbacks/call forwards paid off. i also managed to fit SO MANY tma character cameos in there and some nice parallels to tma canon events as well as expanding on the FFX lore itself so like. im Very Proud of this one haha

2. the variant of soft hanahaki as envisioned by isa and myself and a few of our other friends back on plurk has lived in my brain rent-free for years and so of course i was going to inflict it on jon and martin. milk vetch is a short fic that takes place in the middle of TMA season 3, in a world where unspoken love (whether that be romantic, platonic, or otherwise) causes you to cough up (mostly harmless) flowers until you get over yourself and tell whoever it is that you love them. i had a LOT of fun with jon's POV in this one, his exhaustion and self-deprecation, and i also had a LOT of fun with the concept of the Beholding dropping a dictionary of flower symbolism into his head whenever he so much as looks at a hanahaki flower. it was also interesting to explore like... the psychology/reasoning behind NOT telling someone you love them even when the evidence is Right There, just going full magic realism with it all.

3. not to have never been is a fic taking place in the 13th doctor era sunless skies au that i've been building with kite for about a year and a half! 13 is a sky-captain, the fam are her officers, and this fic is about them getting caught in a weft of unravelling time and struggling to get Out without dying or losing themselves. i'm rly proud of this one because i managed to mix the episodic nature of a bottle episode of dr who (think 42 or Tsuranga) with the Sunless Skies ambience, and switching between 5 different 3rd-person limited POVs really let me play with allowing the voice of the character to permeate the narration which is a LOT of fun. i'm also proud of a couple of the cool things i managed to do with the structure here (having an Ice section followed by a Fire section and then a Dark section followed by a Light section) and some of the hints i laid down for the backstory of a few of the characters...

i actually only have 1 more of my fics to rec for this LMAO and it is still unfinished BUT in the spirit of the meme i'm gonna rec it anyway bc WIPs are still worth reading:

4. spydoc the locked tomb au, aka the result of me watching the power of the doctor last year and immediately losing my mind over the fact that dhawan!master basically reinvented lyctorhood. spydoc are a necro-cav pair from the Fifth House and this tragedy is going exactly where you think it is going (also featuring me straining the torvic affair thru a 13-shaped sieve and then re-straining it thru a tlt-shaped sieve, state-sanctioned codependency, and canon-typical memes, ruth!doctor and yaz are also going to feature when i get back to writing this thing). if you, too, are haunted by all the ways dhawan!master ends up emulating + recreating all of the worst excesses of gallifrey's founders despite the fact that he despises them so much and love trainwrecks as much as i do then u should read this and yell at me to finish it
