Common Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita)

The Common Chiffchaff, a member of the warbler family, gets its name from its song, a simple and repetitive 'chiff-chaff'. They nest on or close to the ground, hidden amongst dense vegetation like brambles or nettles, built by the females out of plant stems and leaves and lined with feathers.

Silently Waiting. A red fox appears out of nowhere 😍 So, I was walking through some fields that had rough growth on the edges and I managed to see a pair of muntjacs, male and female, so I stopped in my tracks, found cover and kept edging closer to them. I got some great shots of them, then while I hid in the overgrowth just taking a moment to see if another muntjac might make an appearance, this red fox strolls in from a hole in the hedge.
