If Laito can also be Raito, (spoiler?) and the cat Shu and MC is both Lily and Ririe. Why wouldn't Leiji be possible? R and L can be switched and altered, or am I confused? Same with Ruki

The ら・り・る・れ・ろ sounds in Japanese often raise confusion because the sound lies somewhere in between the English ‘R’ and ‘L’.

However, the only time I have seen it being written as an ‘L’ in English, is when it concerns foreign words. For example, the word ランプ or ‘lamp’ which is written with the ‘ra’ or ロンドン or ‘london’ which is written with the ‘ro’ sound.

Laito falls under this category as well, because the English word ‘light’ is also written ライト in Japanese.

Reiji and Ruki are both Japanese names, so it would be weird to transcribe them as ‘Leiji’ or ‘Luki’. Similarly, the Japanese word 食べる or ‘taberu’ would never be transcriped as ‘Tabelu’.

Last but not least, Rejet DOES write the boys’ names in roman alphabet at times (on merch, for example), so their is a canon spelling for the characters’ names. Which is why I’m not quite sure why people still argue over the whole ‘Laito VS Raito’ thing, when the creators themselves have given us an answer??

I wish I had the organization required to make the pins and everything look all cute. I can't wait to see the zines! the keychain is adorable!

I kinda went down a zine hole - most of them for haikyuu but I did order the backdraft zine for Dabi (in production right now). I actually just went and downloaded all my digital copies and stuff so I could organize. I got the Crossroads HW Timeskip zine, the Miscreants HQ Crime AU zine, Always This Nice - an nsfw kuroo zine, and the Onigiri Miya Cookbook Zine. These are digital only.

Then I got Game On - a nekoma team zine, Divine Favor - an inarizaki zine, an MSBY zine, In Theory - a HQ college zine. These are both digital and physical with merch.

For pre-orders, I have a Kuroo zine, an iwaizumi zine (the one I just reblogged cause they have four orders to go until the last stretch goal is unlocked and like 9 hours left for pre-orders), and a Suna zine. I also called one called Taberu which is a HQ cookbook zine and should be shipping by end of this month and I pre-ordered Sweet Tooth which is a HQ desserts zine. I would have gotten PopRocks for KiriBaku Pro Heros but I'm not a big shipper for BNHA (or HQ).

ohh i love the food related ones too! i actually have a nanami from jjk cookbook zine preordered, and the bakugou zine i have is also a cookbook! i hope to eventually try making one of the recipes in it T-T

also yeah there's a lot of ship related zines too!! todobaku is really the only ship i care about in bnha ahaha and then i also rly like sugusato in terms of jjk (itafushi is cute too i cannot deny)

you'll have to show me pics of your zines when they come in though!! i'd love to see the cute merch too if you get any with them!
