Thoughts on TBB Season 2 Finale

i talk about the big bit in my earlier post so if u want to weep, go read that

I went into this finale thinking Omega was going to give herself up to protect the batch and i was ok with that as long as everyone else survived but it’s so much worse

idc how detrimental it is to the galaxy, nala se better do whatever hemlock wants bc i don’t want one je his crusty fingers touching omega

while she’s in imperial custody are we going to see big brother crosshair step up and protect her? what’s his reaction going to be when he finds out EVERYTHING that happened

anyways crosshair ate his 3 seconds of screen time

Emerie being Omegas sister is WILD bc it brings so many more questions. If emerie is omegas sister does that mean she’s the clones sister? and if she is, why is she doing experiments on them? does hemlock know about her? is omega even a clone of jango fett or are both of them his sisters clones? is emerie even her real name? does she have a greek alphabet name she was originally named? why does she have a last name? does that mean omegas name is omega karr? does nala se know about emerie being a clone/omegas sister? i need these questions answered.

i better see hunter lose his GOD DAMN MIND next season on his mission to find omega. he is in his reputation era and more importantly he’s a father who just had his child kidnapped from him, he’s not letting her go that easily.

while on the topic of hunter being a father hemlock saying who knew clones could be so paternal and it shocked hunter. the way hemlock said it made me SO uncomfortable i absolutely hate him. i can’t stop thinking about how shocked hunter was when he was called out. hunter knew hemlock was going to manipulate his need to protect his brothers/sister and he wasn’t prepared.

continuing the hunter being a father convo, when the train car was about to blow up hunter turned around, ran towards omega, and grabbed her to shield her from the blast. closest thing we’ll get to a hug.

btw i hope hemlock has the most painful death bc i dont think i’ve hated a star wars character as much as i hate him

that goes for cid i hate her but i hate hemlock more

season 3 confirmation when bc they CAN NOT just leave us like that

So I'm probably not the first one to mention this but I simply love the fact that the bad batches in case of emergency self sacrifice plan is titled plan 99. At first glance it sounds like it's a simple play on there name but what I think is that it's a tribute to none other than the selfless self sacrifice of the very first modified Clone trooper 99 himself (even though he was a failed version)

THE BAD BATCH SEASON 2 EPISODE 12 SPOILERS!!

crosshair, baby...

i feel like his arc was way too underdeveloped at first but i immediately rewatched episode 3 after this episode and now im just realizing how much they jam packed into these two episodes. like the amount of internal conflict u can see in crosshair, in just his fucking eyes is astronomical.

you can just feel the regret in his eyes. the anguish and frustration with himself and the system. he thought he was doing the right thing, he thought he was being a good soldier

like you also have to consider crosshair's upbringing. hes so much colder and closed off than his brothers, you can only imagine the kind of values and negative self talk thats been drilled into his brain, probably more than the rest of the batch. 'your only purpose is to be a good soldier, youre worth nothing more, and even then you cant do it right youre defective.'

literally everything about this episode broke my heart into a million pieces. i genuinely thought he might die during the avalanche, he'd have some epiphany and admit something to mayday before. im so glad he survived though. FINISH THE ARC LIKE HE DESERVES!!!

also, i fell in love with mayday immediately, like holy shit fanfic writers assemble
