Headcanon about Bastard’s Box (probably Tinky as well as how he might obsess over Ted cause eeyup)

sometimes I wonder if say, Tinky collects Teds like collecting Barbie dolls.

So he has a Ted of every kind. Teds he traumatised, Teds doomed by the narrative, even the infected Ted too. The requirement for Tinky to just collect the Teds is they gotta die.

On the regular, each Ted is basically kept in their own rooms in the Bastard’s Box. By right, the multiple Teds from every timeline collected thus far should not meet each other, because Tinky simply doesn’t need any Ted to know about the other Teds.

This could go a few ways. One is some Teds DO bump into each other at times and dive into each others’ very shared trauma before the time goat comes back to see what’s the next Ted to play with.

Second is that, the Teds, in between times of Tinky messing with a Ted, literally gather round and just start chattering away about anything. Sometimes maybe they help each other with whatever game Tinky is giving one of them next. Gotta help each other, you’re all doomed to be a time goat’s toys for life.

Third, with which I think for laughs and no plot, is the Teds Talkshow just for Teds. Hilarity ensues. Tinky does not know of the Teds Talkshow. Nobody knows who assembled it, they just know that this talkshow sometimes appears at random to the Eldritch folks down in Drowsy Town, assuming they have a radio or even their form of TV.

Raijinshuu Headcanons:

At this point they are more of Laxus' bullies than guards

Laxus requests that they watch after Levy after finding out she’s pregnant. It took awhile for her to notice that she was always surrounded by the trio during guild brawls

Evergreen sneezes fairy dust. And not like little cute ones. Im talking huge puff of dust that sometimes blows up people

Bickslow will do anything for the bit. If he can make a joke out of it, he’s gonna do it.

Freed can hold his own against Laxus. He can’t beat him but he can keep up long enough to outsmart Laxus

Evergreen is as much of a trickster as Bickslow. She usually frames him for her actions

Bickslow’s babies are actually the souls of his family. That’s how he found out he could collect souls. He watched his family dying around him and was able to move their souls into dolls

Freed is their version of google. That man knows pretty much everything

HOLY SHIT I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO SEE THE NEW SPIDERVERSE MOVIE TODAY AND GAH DAMN

Here's a penny for my thoughts:

The animation team continues to impress me with the animation and in this movie more so than the first cause of how they made each universe feel

THAT OPENING (love me ambiguous openings where you slowly piece it as it continues)

Spot = traumatized silly guy turned into very dangerous traumatized guy

We all thought pavitr would be ✨TRAUMATIZED✨ but I'm so glad miles was able to help him save both (maybe he is traumatized if his universe is destroyed but let's hope not since he's so blorbo)

Love his silliness with his whole introduction introduction the romantic tension comments and "Oh he doesn't know about hobie" like a whole romantic drama is about to play out

I thought I was gonna hate hobie with how much police he was talking but I grew to be amused and fond of him (the true mvp)

Idk if this is controversial or not but even though miguel o'hara is traumatized I still don't like him (if it's not clear I hate it when people try to be "the system". Looking at you light yagami)

THE COLOR THEORY ON THIS 👏✨🙌

Like the color shifts in gwen's universe and the inverted colors on the scenes of earth 42 and gwen's universe is another on point moment

There is so much more that I can't possibly mention of the top of my head at the moment but all the visual symbolism (not just in color) is *muah*

PARALLELS (that's all I have to say)

MAYDAY 💞 is. so. ADORABLE AND CHAOTIC.

I love peter b. parker having a child cause he liked the idea of raising his child to be like miles... cause he's a good person

Speaking of miles THEY REALLY CANT LEAVE THE POOR BOY ALONE WTF (give him a break man)

I love all the cameos and references of the many spiders and will deffo pick apart every scene once I can get my hands on the full length movie on my pc

They make every spiderperson's attack feel unique and get creative with techniques and styles

I love the 2d-3d look it has as always

I love miles' parents and its nice to see gwen reconcile with her dad

GOOD OLD PARKER TRAUMA

EARTH 42. ITS ALL CONNECTED. THAT REVEAL WOAA.

I'm glad they brought back the old spiders that miles first met into the squad

Okay, finally reading Thunder now

Everything about Smoky is so profoundly uncomfortable, these writers really do have a knack for picking the worst man in a 100 mile radius to obsess about. It is insane how openly they play writers' favorite

Frostpaw is afraid she'll be betrayed (she will be), but she has no choice (and so is forced to trust him). When he mentions the horse doctor (it is explicitly a vet for horses), she has an intense, negative reaction telling him that calling the human is something she does not want.

So Smoky completely ignores her, obviously.

Medical treatment is forced on her as she screams and cries, thrashing so hard that her neck wound is opened up and blood gets everywhere, and then the horse doctor brings out a syringe full of cat tranquilizer which I guess they just had laying around. While she's out, she's sterilized, and when she wakes up she's unsettled about it but Smoky has no answers for what was done to her.

Anyway, she's out for a single day and isn't allowed to stay mad at Smoky for more than a minute because He's So Nice and the writer can't handle anyone ever being upset at their favorite boy characters for more than 30 seconds. I wonder if the NEXT field guide will have a short story about how amazing Smoky is and have the corpse of Firestar himself coo that he's soso misunderstood

Deeply uncomfortable choice to create these chapters. Make your bets now-- how long is gonna pass before Frostpaw learns her choice to have children was taken from her and they play this for for drama in front of their audience of 13-year-olds? (but in a way that doesn't blame smoky at all ofc)

Just a Hatchetfield pondering

Whilst brainstorming dreaming about an AU, I started to wonder about certain people who were gazed upon by a Lord in Black or another Eldritch entity like the Killer Track (which by inside joke I’ve taken to naming him KaTey), would actually be known as.

Any human said to be a disciple of the Lords in Black, at least from what I remember, actually studies the Black Book and practices spells from it. Those would be like, the Church of the Starry Children (notably Sherman and Sheila Young, and that of Roman Murray), Wilbur Cross, Willabella Muckwab and probably Grace Chastity in specifically NPMD.

The “unsure” category for me, would be Wiggly cult and Linda in Black Friday because it’s not that known if they have the Black Book with them. But what I would speculate as a strictly headcanon, is that by extension of Uncle Wiley/ Wilbur Cross, they would’ve learnt enough to be able to construct the portal for Wiggly to get through, and thusly qualified them as Disciples.

As for NPMD, Pete and Steph are kinda left out because they only used Black Book once and never again, thusly counting them out as “disciple”.

With that out of the way, then what does one call Miss Holloway and Solomon Lauter? Would these two count as “Ex-Disciples” since they have studied the book but have ultimately learnt that they are being steered to do unspeakable evil? Instead trying to either minimise usage (Solomon Lauter) or try to actually do good with this knowledge (Miss Holloway)?

Solomon Lauter could also be a matter of “one-use” situation, which can be possible given that he buried the book, but there leaves room for headcanons that he might’ve used the book significantly to know it’s nefarious purposes,

but for Miss Holloway, simply put, she knows too much to have not been a Disciple at some point cause again, disciple merely means “student”, so it’s highly possible that in her actual living life, she was not malicious but more of misguided until she realised it herself and did a lot to become well, Miss Holloway as we know of her.

Now disciples out of the way, now prophets.

Linda is a prophetess in Black Friday, she was selected to impart the message that Wiggly will descend upon Hatchetfield thanks to Wilbur Cross.

Hannah Foster is an actual prophetess, where because of Webby, Hannah does actually get to prophesise the future, but sadly in the cryptic words Webby uses for her.

now that leaves the following ppl: Paul Matthews, Ted Spankoffski, Bill and Alice Woodward, regarding “can one call them prophets or not”. We all know the CCRP trio sans Alice are practically “blorbos” to their respective LiBs. But like, because they do not really spread any future vision or prophesise a thing (look at Ted he just simply went mad), what do we call such ppl?

Lord in Black’s toys? Lord in Black’s pets? Lord in Black’s playthings? Lord in Black’s torture tango partners???

like canonically, what would one call these guys if not disciples or like actual prophets? XD
