Late lazy mornings were always your favourite. Late lazy mornings with Mason we’re even better.

He was still asleep, softly snoring besides you as you watched him with soft eyes. To you he was perfect, from the crinkles that appeared next to his eyes when he was happy, to the most gorgeous smile you’d ever seen on another human. There was nothing about him you didn’t like.

You watched him intently, fighting the urge to reach out and trace his features and before you could stop yourself, your finger was trailing down the bridge of his nose and then across his cupids bow. Making sure to be extra gentle so you didn’t wake him.

Those three little words were on the top of your tongue, and him being unconscious made it a bit easier for you to express them as you knew he wouldn’t be able to hear you, but you chose to mouth them just in case he somehow was listening. It was something you had caught yourself doing a lot lately.

You and Mason hadn’t quite got to the big I love you stage of your relationship yet. You obviously knew you did love him but you were terrified of saying the words out loud in fear it was too soon or he didn’t feel the same, knowing it would crush you if he wasn’t ready to say it back yet. You’d been together officially for just over three months and dating for two before that and you were certain of your feelings towards him but the thought of telling him and not getting the reply you wanted made you feel hot all over so you kept it to yourself. Only thinking the words or mouthing them when he couldn’t see.

Mason began to stir ever so slightly so you retracted your hand and placed it on his chest instead. Watching him as he slowly opened his eyes and locked them with yours. His smile mirrored your own at the sight of you before he reached out to pull you into him further.

‘Good morning, beautiful’ he murmured, pressing his hands to the warm skin of your back so he could hold you to him as tight as possible.

‘Morning, Mason. How did you sleep?’

‘Pretty good. Always do when I’m next to you though’ he winked and you let out a light chuckle. ‘You been awake long?’

‘Like 20 minutes maybe?’ You hummed and he nodded before cupping your jaw and bringing your face towards his so he could place a gentle kiss on your lips. ‘I’ll get up soon. I wanna make you breakfast before you leave’

‘How did I get so lucky, huh?’ He laughed, pulling you to him again and you kissed him back with a smile before pulling back, causing him to groan in frustration.

‘Come on don’t be moody, Mase’ you laughed as you got out of bed and threw his shirt on before leaving the room and heading down to the kitchen. You’d been cooking away for about 15 minutes when Mason finally emerged through the door in just his boxers. ‘Nice to see you’ve finally joined the land of the living’ you teased but he just groaned whilst hugging you from behind and resting his head on your shoulder.

‘I was comfy and you abandoned me’ he moaned but you just laughed and shook your head, loving how his needy side emerged whenever he was tired. You gently turned and kissed his forehead, causing him to hum contently and squeeze you a little bit tighter.

‘Food will be ready soon. Why don’t you sort some drinks out? There’s juice in the fridge’ you told him and with a final kiss to your cheek he plodded off to pour you both a drink. By the time he was done, you were all plated up and you set his down in his spot on the kitchen island. You took the seat opposite him and he gave you an appreciative smile before digging in.

‘So it’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow’ he mused, his eyes coming to meet yours with a shy smile dressed on his face.

‘Really? I had no idea’ you countered sarcastically and he chuckled at your tone before reaching for your hand.

‘I know we said we leave it this year as my game is tomorrow but I’ll be back at like six. Maybe you could come here afterwards. I’ll cook for you this time?’ He asked with hopeful eyes and you couldn’t help but agree.

‘Okay, yeah that sounds good. We’re still agreed on no presents though?’

‘Yeah yeah’ he laughed whilst rolling his eyes. Giving you hand one last squeeze before carrying on eating.

It wasn’t that you didn’t like Valentine’s Day, you just felt the whole thing was a bit of a let down most of the time and you didn’t want to add too much pressure into the both of your lives. You’d agreed on no presents a while back as your relationship was fairly new and you had no idea what to get him plus knowing him he’d go way overboard. Mason had mentioned taking you out somewhere nice but you figured he’d be tired after his game and you both out thinking about it in the back burner for the time being. He’d won you round though, and the thought of a cozy night in with him sounded perfect.

Once you’d eaten and cleared up, you both made your way upstairs so you could get ready to head home. You’d planned a night out with your girls tonight as Mason would be staying away for his early game tomorrow. It was an away game but it wasn’t too far and you’d agreed to go and support him with a couple of friends. You were soon by the door, double checking your bag as Mason came to give you a goodbye kiss.

‘So I’ll meet you back here tomorrow? You can just come here after the game and hang here till I get back if you want?’

‘I don’t really fancy sitting in my car for a few hours’ you laughed and he looked at you with a confused face. ‘I don’t have a way to get in Mase, unless you’re good with me breaking and entering. It’s fine you can just message me when you’re back and I’ll come over’

He didn’t say anything, just untangled himself from you and walked back through the house. Leaving you stood there in confusion until he returned with one of his hands behind his back.

‘I’ve just texted you the code for the gate, and this is yours’ he told you, opening his hand to reveal a key. You gasped at the sight of it and he chuckled at your response. ‘Where’re your keys, baby?’ He asked and you fished them out of your bag so he could attach it on. He popped them back in your bag once he was done and flashed you a cheeky smile. ‘There we go, now you can get in tomorrow. And whenever else you feel like’

‘Mase, are you sure?’ You laughed and he wrapped his arms around you tightly and kissed the end of your nose.

‘Of course I’m sure. I trust you’ he confirmed before pressing his lips to yours in a heavy kiss. You pulled back and looked into his bright eyes, both of you radiating happiness to the point where you thought you might burst.

‘I love you’

The words slipped out of your mouth before you could stop them, so used to mouthing them to him that it felt natural for you to say them but the shocked look on his face made you go stiff. The feeling of embarrassment taking over you as you hadn’t meant to say it to him. Not right now anyway.

Masons face was a picture, he was looking at you with wide eyes and his lips slightly parted. Shock written all over him but he didn’t say anything back which was making your heart thud in you chest uncomfortably. You uttered the word fuck under your breath before freeing yourself from him and grabbing your bags so you could flee to the car.

‘Baby, wait’ he urged, trying to grab you but you made it outside before he could. He was still dressed only in his boxers and was aware he didn’t want to give his neighbours an eyeful so he ran to grab some clothes, but you were too quick. Chucking your stuff in the back seat before getting off his drive as quickly as you could. You were just through the gates when you noticed Mason running out of his house but he stopped when he realised he couldn’t catch you.

You felt numb the whole way home, upset with yourself that you’d run off without talking to him, but the fact he’d frozen and not said anything back hurt you more than you thought possible. You knew he was calling you from the way your phone was constantly vibrating to the side of you, but you were feeling far too humiliated to talk to him right now.

You kept yourself busy at home. Deep cleaning your flat and choosing an outfit for tonight. Before hopping in the shower and getting ready. Once you were almost done, you risked a glance at your phone to see if your girls had text you yet, ignoring everything Mason related as you still felt hot and uncomfortable thinking about it.

Your best friend Leigh confirmed she’d be with you in about 15 minutes so you used your time to clear the 25 missed calls from Mason and have a quick flick through the texts he’d sent.

You were about to cave and reply when Leigh text you to say she was outside, so you gathered up all your things and met her downstairs. She knew something was off instantly but you shrugged it off, telling her you thought you might be coming down with something and you were fine.

The dinner passed you by in a blur, but you gave yourself a talking to on the way to the bar. You rarely saw the girls and you were being a bit of a buzz kill but once you had a bit of alcohol in you, you relaxed and mostly forgot about what had happened earlier. You posted a cute picture that you took of yourself and Leigh in the bathroom to your stories before putting your phone away again.

It was an hour or so later when you were getting some air that you checked your phone again. It was about half 12 so Mason would be sound asleep by now, but you saw a few notifications from him from about an hour ago, meaning he must of seen your post straight away. You checked instagram first to see he’d reacted to your story with a heart eyes emoji and a little message.

You quickly liked his message without thinking about it, offering him the first tiny bit of contact from you in hours before you checked your texts again to find just one more from him that was sent just after midnight.

You sighed as you read through it a few times, your heart breaking as you thought about him in his hotel room all sad. You were just about to type a reply when Leigh pressed up next to you, throwing an arm around you and giving you a little squeeze.

‘You’ve had a face like a slapped arse all night, why don’t you tell me what’s wrong?’ She giggled and you laughed with her whilst shaking your head before giving her a rundown of what happened earlier.

‘I’m so just so embarrassed’ you confessed, with your face in your hands. ‘And I know it’s stupid to run away and ignore him but I didn’t know what else to do’

‘I’m sorry, that sucks’ she huffed but you knew there was more coming. ‘You should of given him time to explain or think about it though’

‘I don’t want him to have to think about it, I want him to know’

‘I’ve seen the way you two are around each other, some people aren’t that comfortable with saying it and yeah you were ready but he wasn’t. Doesn’t mean he won’t ever be ready. I mean he gave you a key for his house for Christ’s sake, I don’t think he’s dishing those out to everyone who turns up’ she told you and you huffed at how right she was.

‘I guess so’

‘Come on, let’s forgot about it for now. We’ll go to his game tomorrow and the pair of you can kiss and make up after’ she teased, pulling you back inside. It was only on your way home a few hours later that you plucked up the courage to message him back.

You arrived to the ground a little later than intended as you were more hungover than you thought you’d be so you’d missed everyone warming up, but you, Leigh and a few of the other girls took your seats in the box mason had arranged for you, just in time to see Mason walking out onto the pitch. He looked sad as he glanced up at you, but once he saw you were there you saw him sigh in relief. You gave him a little wave and a smile to which he returned and your heart settled more than you thought it would.

Mason appeared to be having the game of his life, having already scored twice before halftime. Each time looking up and pointing to you. You and Mason hadn’t gone public yet so you felt a bit overwhelmed when all eyes were looking your way but you shrugged it off, happy for him that he was doing well after a hard time recently. When full time came you watched him come over with the rest of the team to clap the away fans, and you smiled as he blew a kiss in your direction, reaching up to grab it which made him laugh.

You didn’t stay long, wanting to beat the traffic so you could stop off on the way home and pick up some things from the shop. You knew Mason said he would cook for you tonight but after the way things had gone and his game today, you wanted to treat him a little bit. Thankfully the shop still had some valentines decorations left over so you picked up some rose petals, red balloons and candles plus all the ingredients for his favourite cheat meal as well as some strawberries and chocolate so you could dip them.

It felt weird putting Masons code into his gate and opening the door with the key he gave you. Almost as if you felt like you were intruding, especially when you couldn’t find the light switch for the hallway but you made your way to the kitchen to start dinner before decorating the dining room table with all the petals and candles. You scattered a few of the balloons about, trying not to make too much much of a mess but wanting it to look nice for him. You were in the kitchen dipping the last of the strawberries when you heard the front door open. You froze in place, now feeing unsure of yourself on whether you should even be here or not but it wasn’t long before you heard him voice calling for you.

‘Y/n? You here?’ He shouted and you made you way through the house to meet him. You both stopped in your tracks when you caught sight of each other and even though you must of looked terrified, there was a gorgeous smile on Masons face. ‘Why is the light off?’ He questioned, gesturing to the dark hall and you looked down to your fingers overcome with shyness.

‘I wasn’t sure where the light switch was’ you mumbled and you felt him walk just to the left of you and flick a switch before coming to stand right in front of you. You locked eyes with him, his looking back at you gently but you couldn’t hold contact with him long. Soon you were back looking at your fingers before he attempted to break the ice.

‘I wasn’t sure if you were gonna be here’

‘Im sorry’ you whispered, suddenly overcome with guilt about the last 24 hours or so.

‘You should be. I’m annoyed with you’ he mumbled but when you looked up at him his face was full of humour which instantly settled you. He gently cupped your cheeks and you lent into his hand as his gaze flickered from your eyes to your lips and back. ‘I wanted to say it first’ he breathed.

‘What?’ You murmured, unsure as to what he was getting at. He took a deep breath before kissing your nose gently.

‘I’m sorry for the way I reacted yesterday, I was just a bit shocked that’s all. I’ve been wanting to say that to you for so long but I think I was building it up to be this big thing cause I wanted it to be special for us. Like something we could remember you know? I was gonna tell you tonight and I’ve been crapping myself for days’

‘Sorry I ruined your moment’ you giggled and he lent down to kiss you with a smile. When he pulled back he was looking at you like he’d never had before and you felt yourself melt under his stare.

‘You’re lucky I love you’

You let out a little laugh, relief and excitement bubbling through you at the sound of those words coming from him and you attached your lips to his immediately. You were both smiling so it was hard to kiss him properly and when you both pulled back you were giggling like idiots.

‘I mean it. I love you, y/n’

‘I love you, too Mase’ you whispered as you held each other ‘I know it wasn’t how you planned but I think we’ll still remember it’ you joked as you led him through to the living room. He stopped in his tracks when he caught sight of the cute scene in front of him set up on his dining table and he turned to face you with an heartwarming expression.

‘What’s all this?’ He laughed, wrapping his arms around you from behind as you both took it all in.

‘Well I thought it might be nice to make tonight a bit special. And to apologise for ignoring you yesterday’

‘You don’t need to apologise’

‘I wanted to do something nice’ you told him, turning in his arms and wrapping yours around his neck. ‘And I know you said you’d cook but I’ve already got your favourite on the go. I thought you’d be tired after today’

‘As if I thought I couldn’t love you anymore’ he teased whilst kissing your cheek. ‘I’ll just go sort myself out and I’ll come help yeah?’ he told you and with a final quick kiss he vanished upstairs.

Ten minutes later he was walking back in, dressed in a hoodie and his favourite grey shorts. You saw him give you a once over, still dressed in jeans and your Chelsea shirt with his name on the back.

‘Do you wanna go get changed?’ He mumbled, kissing your temple as his arm snaked around your waist.

‘I kind of didn’t bring anything’ you chucked and he furrowed his brows at you in confusion. ‘I didn’t know how tonight would go and if you’d want me to stay ’

‘I always want you to stay’ he reassured you and you smiled at him shyly, now feeling a little dramatic. ‘I’ll grab you something to change into if you want. And I was thinking I could clear a draw for you or something? So you can keep some stuff here? Just thought it would save you having to lug loads of stuff here all the time. I’ve cleared one out in the bathroom for you already for all your lotions and potions’ he winked and you could feel your face heat up at his suggestion.

‘I’d like that, thank you’ whispered and he placed a kiss on your forehead in acknowledgment. He was quick to find you one of his tracksuits for you to put on, just a simple black one and even though it drowned you, you felt a lot more comfortable. Once back in the kitchen, you caught him trying to eat out of the pot but your eyes met his, looking at him disapprovingly as the spoon hovered in front of his open mouth. ‘I’m never leaving you in charge again’

‘I was just checking it hadn’t been poisoned’ he laughed before his eyes scanned over your body. ‘You look very cute baby’ he teased before you rolled your eyes at him, shooing him out of the kitchen so you could get everything ready. You spoke lightly throughout dinner, updating him on your night out whilst he filled you in on his game. He offered to clear everything away and you promised you’d sort dessert out in the meantime, popping the chocolate covered strawberries onto a plate, and when he joined you soon after in the sofa his eyes lit up at the sight of them. ‘This day just gets better and better’ he laughed, sitting himself down next to you and pulling you in.

You picked up a strawberry, feeding it to Mason who seemed shocked at first but maintained eye contact with you had he bit down into it and you both laughed at the cheesiness of it before he kissed your forehead and got settled down for the movie you’d picked.

‘Hey Mase?’ You breathed, turning to face him as he looked back at you with gentle but curious eyes. ‘I am really sorry about running out and ignoring you yesterday. I know it was a bit childish but I thought I’d messed everything up’ you laughed lightly and he squeezed your hand in response. ‘But I’m glad we’re good again, and you played so good today like I’m so proud of you’

‘Well waking up to a text from you put me in a better mood’ he laughed as you nuzzled your head into his neck. ‘I can’t lie though, when we were going in from the warm up and I couldn’t see you I thought you’d stayed home. Like it put me in the worst mood again. But seeing you when I came out again felt amazing and I knew I wanted to score for you’ he smiled and you kissed his nose. ‘Why were you so late?’

‘Traffic’ you huffed whilst shaking your head as he picked up another strawberry. This time to feed it to you and you squealed as you felt his tongue on your chin licking up some of the juice that had dribbled from the corner of your mouth.

‘Thank you for all of this. I love it’ he told you sincerely and your heart was beating wildly in your chest as he looked at you with loving eyes. ‘And I love you’ he laughed causing you to curl into him in embarrassment.

‘I love you too’

James doesn't even know how exactly has his crush started.

It was maybe the cute little smiles, you always gave him in the hallways. Or maybe the red cheeks, you had whenever, he got caught staring at you by you during the classes.

And It only got worse, when you two got paired up for the potions class. He remembers your wide eyes and slightly opened mouth, when the teacher called out your two names. It was a completely contrast to James's big grin.

You actually didn't mind James, not at all. It was just that, you had a crush on him, too. You thought he was funny and nice.

But given your shy persona, you didn't talk much to James, well only about the potions class assignments. You just quietly worked with him, laughing shyly at his stupid jokes. Giggling, when his potions turned out completely different. You also learned, that James had the power to make you flustered in a matter of seconds, cheeks burning at his flirty words.

James was down bad for you, his crush got like 10 times bigger since then. So he wanted to do something about it and ask you out.

And he tried, more than once. But you somehow were never alone or when you were, you always dissappeared before he got the chance.

Today his maybe fifth attempt went to shit, too. James sulkily sits in the common room, frowning at the wall.

"Moony, I can't do this anymore, let's just put the invisible cloak over him" Sirius groans, looking at the miserable James.

"Leave him alone, Pads" Remus argues, looking worriedly at James, "do you want to tell us what happened?"

"Just the usual.." he whispers angrily, he isn't angry at you, he could never, he's just angry at himself for still trying over over again, when it's clear, the feelings aren't mutual, "she just dissappeared, before I even got a chance."

"Maybe she just really needed to leave...?" Remus is trying to be nice, James knows it.

"Right." James sighs in defeat.

Remus glares at Sirius to say something supportive, too.

"C'mon James, you know she likes you-" Sirius starts, but James cuts him off almost immediately.

"How can you be so sure? She literally keeps avoiding me! " he huffs out.

"Lily told you, she is sure y/n likes you and she is kind of friends with her, so it must be true!" Sirius says and Remus nods his head, " Yeah, James."

"Whatever, it doesn't matter if she keeps avoiding me, does it? It's probably not true anyways. I give up."

"Nope nah ah,"Remus isn't going to let you two blind idiots just miss the chance you have, " we are going to figure something out and then you can thank me at your wedding speech, alright mate?"

So that's how they get the idea of a secret admirer. James is pretty much desperate, so he takes anything.

The first gift appears in front of your room 2 days later. It's just normal morning, until there's a loud squeal from your roommate at the door.

You quickly run there, worried she got hurt, " what? What happened?"

"Look!" she hands you a big box with a small bow on top of it.

"What's this?" you ask her, shaking the box a little.

"I don't know, I just opened the door and found it laying on the floor, your name is written on it" she says, " go on, open it!"

So you do. You slowly untie the bow and open the lid. Your eyes go wide as soon as you see what's inside. There at the bottom of the box lays a book. But not just any book, it's the book, you'd wanted to buy it for weeks, but it was sold out everywhere.

"W-what? How..? Did you do this" you ask your friend, astonished.

"I didn't," she swears, " look there's a card" she points at floor and picks it up.

She reads it outloud and squeals again, " Oh my god, this is so cute!! Y/N, do you know who's this from?" she beams at you.

"I-I don't " you shyly say, cheeks red from hearing what is written on the note. They get even redder, when the realisation, that you have secret admirer hits you.

You basically take the book everywhere with and when James sees it, he smiles proudly, happy to know you actually like it.

The gifts don't stop at the book. They also always come with the cheesy pick-up lines, that make you smile stupidly every time. You got so many gifts already, like your favourite sweets, flowers, another book, candles and more. They appear every second day in the morning.

And every single one of your roommates are now invested in it, too. And they are making it even worse than it already is. They even have a bet on who it is, but you don't think anybody's guess is right.

You have honestly no idea, who it is, too. You have thought of a few names, even James's, but dismissed them quickly.

You also tried to caught the person in act one night, but you fell asleep and when you woke up, it was there, as usual.

The gifts keep coming even after 2 weeks. Honestly, at first you thought it was very sweet and romantic, but right now, you can't help but to worry about how much money the person is spending on them.

So you start to pay more attention to people around you. You want to finally find out who the mystery person isy so they don't spend any mlre money on you. So far it's not going great.

The only thing you notice is James, his dreamy smiles and sweet eyes on you. But you are only half sure, that you aren't imagining that. Because there's just no way James Potter likes you. I mean, he's James Potter and you... you are just shy, quiet you.

But you always find yourself thinking more and more about the possibility, that it really is him.

And now sitting next to him in the potions class is making it even worse. He is too handsome for his good and it's making you even shier than you already are.

You are looking everything else, but him to get the red away from your cheeks, praying for the class to end. And 5 minutes before the end is when you notice it.

His handwriting. It is exactly the same as the one on the notes. You are sure, because you've read the notes more than ones.

You gasp and your eyes go wide. James, of course, notices that.

"Is everything okay?" he questions with a small smile.

Before you can answer the class ends and you are thankful for it, because your mind is blank. You scramble to your feet and basically run out of the classroom.

You hear James call out your name, but you don't stop, not until you are at, what you think is a safe distance from him. But you are wrong. So wrong, because the distance is literally non existing. You didn't realise he ran after you.

"Y/N, what's wrong? Are you okay?"he asks, worried eyes searching for yours.

"I-I....Did you follow me here?" you don't really mean for that to come out as rude as it does, " I mean, why did you follow me here?" you correct yourself.

"I wanted to know what happened, you looked a bit bewildered in the class. Did something happen? Was it the potion, I know I messed it up, I'm sor-"

"It's not about the potion" you cut him off.

"Well, did I do something ? You can tell me. You know, I won't min-"

You interrupt him again, " No, I mean yes....shit" you start off badly, " your handwriting."

"Is it that bad?" he asks seriously and you giggle, but stop, when you think about it again.

"I-I noticed it's the same, a-as the notes I've been getting with these gifts" you shyly say, eyes on the ground.

"Oh."

James doesn't know what to say, he and the boys haven't thought of what to say when you would find out and he is panicking. But you look like you might run again, so he confesses, " it's true, it's my handwriting."

"What?" you look up at him.

"Your secret admirer, it's me" he admits a bit embarrassed.

"R-really? This isn't...it's not a prank, is it?" you don't think it is, but you still can't really believe, that the secret admirer could be James and that he might like you.

"A prank? No no no, I swear. I know, I and the boys do a lot of stupid shit, but I promise you, this is definitely not a prank, sweetheart" he swiftly reassures you.

The nickname, that slips up from his lips, makes you feel dizzy, " o-okay, I believe you."

"Did you like them, the gifts?"

"I did, but why did you do it?" You sheepishly ask.

"You are really going to make me say it?"he chuckles and you just blush.

"I like you y/n, a lot. You are so sweet and kind, you always help me fix my potions. I love it, that you laugh at my horrible jokes even if they are not funny," to confirm his words, you giggle.

"But why didn't you just say this to me? I don't want you to spend your money on some gifts for me" you frown.

"I tried, but you kept avoiding me. So I got desperate and the boys helped me come up with this, it was the best idea we got."

"Avoiding you?" you puzzle.

"Yeah, everytime I wanted to talk, you just dissappeared somewhere."

You know exactly, what he is talking about. But you didn't do it on purpose, you just have the habit to rather quickly dissappear than to make a fool of yourself in front of people, especially if it's a cute boy.

So, it's my first time writing after such two months, so I decided to start again with a group that really take my heart last year.

Dating an Idol was no an easy task. You really loved Chaewon, since the first day you became a couple, but to say that her schedule was hectic was nothing. However normally you succeded in seeing each other at least a couple of times during the week, but that was not possible in this time: the period of preparation for the comeback.

Luckily you were an understanding partner and you did your best to cheer on her and wished her the best everyday. That day though you really couldn't stand to see her, even for five minutes. So, during your lunch break you decided to put in place your plan.

You went to the Hybe building, where luckily many workers know you now, so there was no problem in reaching easily the practice room where your girlfriend and her members were. When you went in, they were so focused on dancing well that they didn't even noticed you.

Once the song was over, you clapped loudly, commenting their performance. "Oh, so this is the famous Antifragile. You girls aced the coreo", you said, slightly scaring them. The moment when Chaewon recognized you, the fatigue on her face was substituted by a big smile. "Baby, you are here", she said happily, basically running towards you for an hug.

You greeted the other girls, that now were became your friends too. "What are you doing here?", Sakura asked out of curiousity. "Yeah, I thought you would be having lunch right now", your girlfriend said with her arms still wrapped around your body. "That was the original plan, but today I really needed to spend some time with this cutie right here", you explained, pointing to Chaewon, "So, what do you think of going to have lunch all together? Today it's on me", you proposed to the group, receiving as answer a mix of applause and happy screams. "Yes, please, I'm basically starving", answered the maknae, showing the thought of all the girls.

Fifteen minutes later you all were in a nice and cozy restaurant near the building, the hot bowls full of food right in front of your face. "Even if this is just water, let's toast to Y/N, who gently offered to us this meal. Thank you so much, sweetie", Yunjin said, raising the glass in your honor. "Yes, you're the best", Kazuha said, clinging her glass with yours.

You were gonna taking the first bite, when you felt someone tugging your sleeve. In fact Chaewon to your right was looking at you with doe-eyes and the same smile of before. "Hey, thank you for the lunch and...for wanting to stay with me today. I really needed someone that would cheered my mood up and you are the best in doing it. I love you so much", she shyly said, before giving you deep kiss.

"Yaaah, you two! I remember you that Eunchae is here", the oldest member said, kicking both of you, making you scream in pain. "Opsie, sorry kiddo", you apologized giggling to Eunchae, who was instead sitting on your left, who was covering her eyes embarassed.

The lunch went smoothly and, after finishing, you took them back to the practice. Now they were fully recharged and ready to dance like there was no tomorrow. You wished goodbye to the girls, but before going away, once again Chae stopped you. "Thank you again for today. I can't wait for tonight", she said to you with a grin. "For tonight?", you asked her, confused. You were pretty sure that you two didn't have a date that evening. "Yes, I just decided that tonight I'm gonna sleep with you. So you better wait me awake, baby", she whispered in your ear, giving you a last kiss on the cheek before returning in the room.

this is really sweet and really means a lot, anon, i hope you know that. it's... very easy for me to get hit with self-loathing about my body, especially when i see other people say those sort of things (as u can tell from this whole thing about chan), or after a doctor's appointment where my health is perfectly fine but seeing certain numbers or words fuck with me despite the fact i'm healthy.

i'm gonna put some more thoughts under a readmore just because i tend to ramble a lot and i don't wanna put a long-ish post on anyone's dash but i have more thoughts here (but if you don't wanna read those, thank you again for your kind words <3 self love is a very long and hard journey and i have in the past and will continue to struggle with in the future. it's just a journey i gotta keep working on, and maybe one day i'll at least be able to appreciate my body for keeping me alive even if i'm not happy with it yet)

like... i feel like there's always going to be a certain line you have to be careful of when you talk about dieting, btw. i don't think chan meant anything bad by what he said (he's a very genuine person from what i've seen, and there's a reason he has such a comforting presence for a lot of people, me included) and i genuinely hope that he never like... feels bad about that if he ever happens to see how it can impact people? like you said, a lot of people look to him for inspiration and comfort, and i feel safe in saying at least some of those people are going to be people under eighteen. i'm not saying it's impossible to happen to anyone under twenty or even twenty-five, but i think the weird, hard part of being a teenager can make those feelings a lot worse--or even anyone in his audience who has dealt with things like EDs or disordered eating on its own. it can be a very slippery-slope right back into those habits, especially hearing them said by someone you look to for motivation/comfort/etc.

which isn't to say i blame chan at all! from what it sounds like, this is definitely something that was pushed onto him? like, idk, i don't know so this is all speculation, but he did say that both his members (which, btw, not a huge surprise just because of how rampant fatphobia is in this industry: i don't really blame them for having that mindset tbh) and the staff sorta kept pointing out him gaining weight.

which btw... where? chan you gotta show me where baby because i cannot fucking see it at all but that's beside the point. you don't have to visibly have gained weight to feel like you've done it.

i just hate the way he said that he needs to do this 'properly' so much. like this isn't proper. eating a single meal a day and barely anything else isn't proper, and i feel like we can probably guess he'd be working out alongside this alongside the work he's already doing.

idk man i just wanna give him a kiss on the forehead and tell him that it's okay if he wants to lose weight but he should do it for himself and he should do it properly. like i've been there. it sucks. you feel like shit and i can't imagine being busy with everything he's busy with and also not eating enough. like idk im not a bee-tee-ess stan but i've read about the shit that j*min went through considering he passed out during rehearsals from barely eating (and, god, it does make me feel better to see a lot of people citing where he's not doing that anymore: i'm not a stan, but he seems like a sweetheart and i wish the best for him + his group). like, not to focus purely on chan again, but it does make me worry about him more.

how far can it go? how far will it go? i don't want to find out. i just want him and the rest of skz to stay healthy and happy, and something like this is going to stop chan (and felix, from what i've read--he also went on a strict diet at one point...? i'd have to look into it more) from being either.

She would sometimes play fetch with him bringing him to me to throw and then bringing him back once I threw him, it was adorable.

Dont worry dude. When i say dissociation is slowing my response time down i mean that i got triggered into a catatonic dissociation state today. And when i dissociate i can go in and out of beibg grounded and dissociated for many Many hours. So i am literally physically struggling to move in any way including writing ofc. So having fun facts to think about while laying still is helping tons instead of thiniing of bad things. Grounding myself enough to write a few sentences doesnt hurt me, it just takes a while. At most the dissociation is giving me a headache
