No physical work done today, only emotional work. Mediating conflicts first half of the day and then attending a family friend’s gathering in the evening. I saw a lot of people from my childhood today and one of them (non-maliciously) told me I used to be a surly little girl until high school lol but truthfully I was just quiet, especially around older girls. They were way too extroverted to the point where I was content just experiencing their extroversion without contributing words myself. But that’s the thing with being quiet I guess, people make up their own narrative about you 💀

god.... i wanna figure out what would finally make rodaine just have a straight up breakdown. I think he came pretty close after losing Jowan but also because he was in the middle of all the shit that had to be done he didn’t let himself break down? his catchphrase that i have given him in my noodling about with writing him is “endure or die” and he’s firmly in the camp that dying simply isn’t an option so really it’s just “endure”

I can’t figure out what it might be that would send him over the edge and make him just fuckin. cry.
