Hi, BPP! Why are Suga and JK generally the most common second biases/bias wreckers in the fandom? They really seem like the most beloved members. Also another question: so many online ARMYs seem Hobi biased, or just generally respect and praise him, so I'm wondering why he isn't among the more popular members? Thanks in advance!

Hi Anon,

The short answer to your first question is that the member ‘favourites’ in the fandom are perceived differently by different people, and even within the wider fandom those favourites are always changing. And while I think it’s ultimately arbitrarily determined, general popularity is also somewhat correlated with the member’s idol activities, physical presentation, and frequency of fan engagement at the time.

This is why you think it’s Yoongi and Jungkook being a constant bias/wrecker for most people, while I actually see it to be Hobi and Taehyung.

You’re right that Jungkook is very popular in the fandom and has mostly always been, but for Yoongi it wasn’t always like this. One reason I was quick to reassess many of my negative perceptions of Jimin, was because I recognized many of the ways people see and talk about him, was very similar to how people approached anything related to Namjoon and Yoongi. Yoongi has always had a lot of people in the fandom who love him, but in previous years there were stereotypes spread in the fandom about how full of himself, aggressive, 'fake intellectual', unstable, unintelligent, and cruel he seemed to some people. These were ideas spread by akgaes and shippers and I noticed this everywhere until just after HYYH era. Since 2018, I think Yoongi’s profile in the fandom has risen very noticeably partly because ARMYs started realizing their negative stereotypes had real consequences, though I also think it helped that all Yoongi’s ships declined (stabilized?) during that time as well. So he was getting less attention from shippers, and rapline akgaes had less to use against him given he was establishing himself as a producer (he won the Best Producer/Hot Trend award at the December 2017 MMAs). Some other things I think raised his 'aww factor' in the fandom, were the notes he sent to Taekook and the lovely Yoonmin interaction during Festa 2018, his record-breaking D-2 mixtape in 2020, his longer hair and maturing good looks, and the fact that since SOOP we've had more opportunities to see more of his practical, nurturing side.

Moving on from Yoongi, Hobi's had a bit of a different evolution in how the fandom sees him but since that's not your primary ask, I'll just say that popularity doesn't always present in the same way.

Hobi is probably the only member I can see holding a braided flogger and I won't laugh in his face, but he's not what a lot of people consider to be conventionally handsome or attractive, and it's just the fact that a lot of people are drawn to or bias those they find attractive on some level. I think his bubbly persona also sometimes has the effect of confusing people in the best case, and irritating others in the worst case. So some reduce him to the smiling cute smart dance teacher who lovingly supports all the members. Or something along those lines I imagine.

Jungkook has had to deal with stereotypes too, but he's mostly always benefited from being conventionally handsome, having stable, strong and likeable vocals, and having center and main positions in many activities. He was the first vocal line member to contribute to song-writing and he began since debut. He's had to grow up very publicly but he seems to be coming into his own, and people feel a fondness seeing his growth. He's also younger than Hobi (and every other member) and so he seems more suitable to being cared for, and sometimes its in a maternal way..

But I don't really think any of this matters.

Every member of BTS enjoys broad support from millions of people. This fandom is literally 10s of millions of people. There's more than enough love to go around seven guys. I certainly don't need the help of anyone else to love Namjoon, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jungkook, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jin any harder. And I don't think they care for that sort of coerced concern anyway.

Every member of BTS is popular. We all have our perceptions about how much and why it varies, but ultimately all that speculation is irrelevant. In my opinion Anon. 💜

Hey anon, thanks for hanging around and thanks for your love and support.

Just for you, just for your ask, although I have closed down my blog, as per my announcement after the JK ain’t gay expose, I will reopen my blog to answer this ask, wink wink.

As per usual, these kind of asks are never easy to answer. There is so much BTS content out there, and oh so many Minkook moments to choose from. Some super big and loud, some kind of subtle, quieter but meaningful, some so intimate and some just cute.

I will start with some underrated Minkook moments that almost nobody talks about, but that I really love:

Finger heart 2018 MMA

Everyone that is anyone talks about MMA 2018. I mean, what’s not to talk about here? MMA 2018 was kind of a huge thing with those two, and it would be one of those defining moments for me too, one of those moments that caused me to stop and think and say “damn, that boy is so in love”.

So, as we established, MMA 2018 was BIG.

But in MMA 2018 there is this one underrated moment, one moment that is really not talked about that much, and that’s JK’s heart fingers to JM. It’s the way it’s done. It’s private, It’s intimate. it’s kind of hidden, it’s JK signing to JM and JM alone. Not for the fans. Not for the cameras.

Another kind of underrated moment, one not too many talk about is also during one bigger moment, and here too it’s kind of overlooked.

This is from KBS Music Bank comeback Feb 2017.

Everyone talks about how close they were, how JM has his hand around JK, how JM caresses JK’s hand oh so gently.

What we don’t see is that the hand JM caresses, that hand is heart finger signing for JM, and he’s doing that during a live broadcast, in front of the cameras. Again, it's not for us, not for the camera, it's kind of hidden and private and for JM and hom alone.

Next underrated moment for me would be from March 2018 Hobi shooting his mixtape Bangtan bomb. We have a few cute moments during that clip that are usually referred to, but the one that stood out to me, the one I don’t see many talk about is when Jimin was filming JK filming Hobi for his MV. It’s small, it’s cute, but it’s also not so small, not to me in any case. It’s Hobi’s shoot. JM came to see Hobi and support him during said shoot. And yet JM is standing back capturing JK filming Hobi. Yes, he’s has Hobi in the frame, but the person that is front and centre in said frame is JK.

Run episode 45 – the barista episode. Once again, we have some cute moments during this episode. But the one I love, and I do think is a little underrated is when JM gives JK to taste the coffee. You can see on JK’s face he doesn’t love it, and it amuses JM, but JK waits for JM to turn away and then he turns around and:

Again, a cute moment, you would even think maybe just a JK cute moment. But I don’t think so. What we have here is JK trying to save bravado, not wanting to show JM how disgusted he was with the coffee JM handed him to taste, coffee JM did like. It could stem from not wanting to offend him, it could be trying to save face with him, trying to not seem childish or immature for not liking bitter coffee, but the way he kept face as long as JM was looking, and only when JM turned around he turned around and allowed himself to truly react to what he just tasted, that to me is an hilarious Jikook moment, one that is kind of overlooked.

KBS Gayo 2019, preparing to perform (bangtan bomb). This one is kind of funny to me. Yes, you see it here and there, but it’s really not talked about enough. Definitely an underrated moment. We have them preparing to perform JK is doing his stretching, and JM, looking at him decides it would be fun to do whatever it was that he was doing there. This is followed by JM stretching and JK’s eyes wondering, or maybe it would be more accurate to say fixating.

People make a big deal of JM just sitting on JK’s lap during an award show, well I would say this is kind of more. Do I in actual fact have to explain why this is so much more? Well, I’m not going to, not on this public platform. If you don’t get why, you can DM me, I will try to explain the plot here.

Last but not least - Aladin fan sign 22 Sep 2017. We do see people talk about this fansign, but mainly it’s about the kind of awkward stares at each other. There are two connected underrated moments during this fansign.

First would be the conversation that was going on during the fansign when they were playing Serendipity. This one I have NEVER seen anyone talk about, and I think it’s kind of big, if you read between the lines.

Bottom line being JM didn’t want JK to hear the song when he was recording it. I wonder why (not really, as I have spoken many a times what I think about Serendipity and the meaning it has for both of them).

Following that conversation we have JM singing Serendipity, JK joining in at parts, but JM is singing the song to JK, no what ifs or buts.

Now to the second half of the ask:

Those small things that minkook do, that are really small but really telling:

I will start with the way they don’t need words to communicate or understand each other. They can be looking at each other and just know what the other one means or needs.

All it takes is a little facial or body gesture and they know what the other means/ wants/ needs. This kind of communication is a clear indication of just how close, how intimate they are with each other to be able to read each other on that level.

Next would be something small or many times kind of overlooked by I-army, but huge for K-army. I am sure you guess this one already. Of course, it’s JK dropping honorifics. Nothing big. Just calling JM straight up Jimin or Jiminie. Small and yet so telling. But it’s not only JK here, it’s also JM and the way he treats JK as an equal.

I would add to that one the way JK takes care of JM, and only JM (it’s like a whole different level than with any of the other members). Also, something that might seem small to us, and yet, to K-army is very telling. The reversal in roles between hyuang and maknae, oh so telling.

Both those, the lack of hierarchy between them, is kind of an enormous neon sign for K-army that these two are in an intimate long term relationship.

Then we have the way they are so soft when they talk to each other. There is a softness there when they talk to one another. It's the difference in JM’s approach when it’s JK. Not to mention how JK can get away with practically anything when it comes to JM, while if it was another member they would literally be dead, lol.

And finally, the concept of personal space is non existent when it comes to those two. They lean into each other, they practically sit on top of each other at times.

I love this photo. It’s so subtle and yet so loud. Can’t find the full frame but in that one it’s even so much clearer how it’s all about those two.

All of these as of their own might be considered small things, but as a whole they show just how intimate those two are.

Tinhat Theories

Pet Names/Honorifics/Endearments Theories

Age hierarchy in Korea (using honorifics to address people who are older than you), is a big deal. It is considered rude to not address those older than you respectfully. The casual way Jungkook calls to Jimin, (dropping “hyung”, calling him “Jimin-ah” or “Jiminie”, and even his exaggerated use of the overly formal “Jimin-ssi” which he does in a very flirty/teasing way), brings attention to the way their relationship is different from the other members. As the youngest, Jungkook should speak to his members respectfully and use honorifics. He almost always uses honorifics on his other hyungs, but somehow, Jimin is different. Here he is in Bon Voyage 2 (filmed in April 2017) calling Jimin “baby” as an example.

Video explaining the significance of Dangshin and Jungkook’s use of it. He’s used it two or three times that we’ve seen on film. This video also shows why Jikookers believe Dangshin is being used in a way that means “dear/darling”, usually reserved for one’s spouse by highlighting how Jimin seems to be the only member that is consistently with Jungkook when he’s hurt/injured. More of those boyfriend privileges!

The time at MMAs 2018 when K-Army thinks Jungkook called himself Jimin’s husband and Jimin’s boyfriend. The guy’s expression sitting behind Jungkook 😂😂

Jimin also gets his shots in with the cutsie names. Here, I think the members were asked to choose their favorite pet. Jimin said he would choose Jungkook because he was strong and could protect Jimin and then said he was his “reliable banryeo”. A cute play on words because it can mean pet, but it can also mean partner/life companion in the sense of a significant other.

We decided to place these instances of dropping honorifics and using cute names with one another in the tinhat section because, while no one can deny that they’ve said these things to each other, the meaning behind the words can be interpreted differently. Maybe Jungkook didn’t mean “Baby” like that. Maybe he was just being overly formal with Dangshin because they are broadcasting to a general audience. Maybe Jimin really did mean Jungkook is his favorite pet. Who knows! But the multiple instances sure do make for an interesting pattern.

Vlive Theories

Taehyung’s Vlive 07.12.2016

The Jikook theories start at 6:15. Tae goes to Jungkook’s room. Jungkook makes him wait outside, claiming he’s not dressed. He finally lets Tae in after 45 seconds. He’s in a robe that he hasn’t even tied yet. Body Electric by Lana Del Rey is streaming in the room.

Tae says he’s there to show ARMY him and Jungkook on Vlive. They mess around for a good bit of time, talking and singing. At about the 8:30 mark, Jungkook gets up with the camera facing toward the bathroom/exit. He glances back that way a couple of times and then turns so the camera is facing away from that area.

Throughout he and Tae singing together, Jungkook keeps glancing toward the hallway/bathroom. Tae brings up Dear No One by Tori Kelly, a song Jimin said represents him in June 2015 and that Jungkook said he loved in July 2015. Tae plays the song and Jungkook sings it while glancing repeatedly at something off camera. Then suddenly Tae brings up Jimin out of nowhere, says he texted him and is going to Jimin’s room if he responds, and immediately leaves the room.

Here is a good breakdown of the whole Vlive with screencaps if you’re interested.

The theory is that Jimin is actually the one who texted Tae and told him to GTFO the room. Once he leaves and goes back toward his own room, you can hear Jungkook’s door opening and closing and someone who sounds suspiciously like Jimin talking loudly in the background. Tae looks a bit weird/guilty, says he forgot the key to his room and must sign off Vlive so he can go get another key.

The next day, Jimin does a Vlive of his own where he’s petty about Tae possibly joining his Vlive. The theory is he’s still mad about Tae crashing Jungkook’s room the night before.

Hoseok Visiting Jimin’s room Vlive Tokyo 08.13.2016

Hoseok starts a Vlive. He eventually goes to Jimin’s room. When he’s let in, there is a very awkward moment where Hoseok won’t show the room and pulls Jimin into the frame, while the camera faces the door away from the room. Both of their eyes keep flicking to something off camera and the whole vibe is weird/guilty.

Once they get into the room, Jimin seems distracted, looking around, taking stock of the state of the room. There is food and Hoseok asks if he was about to eat. It’s A LOT of food. Like maybe too much for one person. Then suddenly there is noise in the area of the door and Taehyung appears, but how did he get in if Jimin and Hoseok are the only people in the room? Or maybe it was Tae who was in the room to begin with? But then this happens.

Notice in the far right corner is the door to the bathroom (the dark opening) at the bottom of the door you’ll notice something moving. Some people say it’s a hand. Some people say it’s a foot. I don’t know what it is, but it’s definitely movement in a bathroom that shouldn’t have anyone in it.

Eventually Tae leaves. Then there’s a weird moment when Hobi does this??? In the video this part starts at 13:43 ish and Hoseok proceeds to tackle/tease Jimin on the bed while saying “Oh Jimin! Oh Jimin!” It’s very “big brother teases little brother about being caught with a significant other” vibes.

So Hoseok leaves, but he leaves the camera with Jimin to continue the live without him. Jimin chats with ARMY while preparing to eat. It’s very clear at this point that someone is still in the room with Jimin. He keeps glancing off camera. At one point you can see a shadow cross the television screen behind Jimin. He keeps looking over to where the beds are and smiling/laughing. He makes some pretty sexual innuendo w/ a sausage that I don’t think is for ARMY’s benefit. In the end, I can’t say for sure it’s Jungkook in the room with him, but someone is definitely there.

Eat Jin Vlive 12.15.2016

In this live, Jin and Jimin are doing an Eat Jin Vlive. This is basically a common Vlive Jin does where he... you guessed it! He eats. He sometimes has other members join him and Jimin is a frequent guest.

Jungkook knocks on the hotel room door to join the live and Jin and Jimin give him a hard time about entering the room. Finally Jungkook threatens that he’s going to post something to Twitter off his phone if they don’t let him in. Jimin calls his bluff and tells him fine, post whatever. Jin tells him not to be so hasty and they finally let him in.

The whole vibe of the Vlive is weird. Jungkook is in a mood. Jimin is in a mood. At the end Jimin tries to flee the room and Jungkook grabs him and says, “Where are you running off to?” Jimin says he was going to the bathroom. Then Jungkook says, “I took a good selfie,” and attempts to show his phone to Jimin who immediately says, “I won’t go then.”

Then later that same day Jungkook posts this to Twitter. It’s the mysterious selfie he was trying to show Jimin in the Vlive. Some people think the mark on his neck above the collar of his coat is a hickey and that’s why threatening to post it kept Jimin from leaving the room.

Hoseok Birthday Vlive 02.17.2019

Hoseok starts a Vlive for his birthday. Eventually BTS (minus Yoongi who fell asleep) crashes his hotel room at midnight with a cake to wish him a happy birthday. Jimin shows up with wet hair wearing Jungkook’s shirt and mentions how he told Jungkook he wasn’t sure he could wake up for midnight and needed to set an alarm for 11:46 pm.

Later, Jimin leaves, then comes back into Hoseok’s hotel room to yell at Jungkook to leave, grabs Jungkook’s arm, and they exit the room together.

The theory is that Jimin needed Jungkook to get back into their hotel room because he didn’t have a key.

Jungkook Vlive 05.18.2019

The theory here is that Jimin and Jungkook are sharing this hotel room and the clothes Tae comments on at 6:56 in the video are actually Jimin’s clothes, not Jungkook’s. As mentioned in an earlier section, this Vlive came directly after a Vlive featuring Jin and Jimin. In the Jin/Jimin Vlive, Jimin mentions the shirt he’s wearing isn’t his shirt. Jin asks him whose shirt it is, they stare at each other for a moment, and Jin says, “Never mind.”

Jimin is also only in a t-shirt in Jin’s Vlive. He leaves Jin’s room to chase after Jungkook, where he shows up a few minutes later on Jungkook’s Vlive, yet when he goes to leave Jungkook’s room, he goes over to the chair to grab a hoodie that he says is his. So, he was either hanging out in Jungkook’s room sometime prior to Jin’s Vlive, or the clothes were there because he is also staying in that room.

When Tae mentions Jungkook’s underwear being in the chair in front of everyone, Jimin immediately goes over to insert himself into that conversation. Several times after Jin and Tae show up to the room Jimin announces that he’s leaving. Several. Times. And seems to get more and more annoyed when the others don’t want to leave too.

A couple of things to note. There are two suitcases. One is messy. One is incredibly neat. Jungkook is a neatnik. You’ll notice that when Tae and Jin start going through the clothing in the neat suitcase Jungkook immediately refolds everything to make it nice again but leaves the messy suitcase alone.

Finally Jimin does leave. Jin leaves too. Then suddenly the doorbell rings and Jungkook goes to investigate. Comes back and tells Tae no one was at the door. Then he tells Tae he’s going to wash up and go to bed. Tae seems uninterested in leaving the room. He’s spending time with ARMY. Jungkook stands behind him and says, “You’re really not leaving?” and they stare at each other through the camera on the Vlive for an uncomfortable and embarrassing amount of time.

Jungkook goes to the bathroom and you can hear him talking in there, but he doesn’t appear to be talking to Tae. So, the theory here is that when the doorbell rang earlier, it was Jimin and he’s reentered the room and is chilling in the bathroom until the camera goes off.

The whole video (linked above) is a little over 13 minutes, amusing on its own, and worth watching if you want to 👁️👄👁️ over some suspect Jikook activities.

Living Together Theory

For a long time, BTS lived in various dorms together. But in 2018/2019, several of them bought apartments in different parts of Seoul. Both Jungkook and Jimin bought property. Jimin bought what seems to be a very run down apartment or possibly the entire complex of apartment units. (Reports are sketchy and not very detailed), but given the state of the apartment/s, most people think he bought it as an investment or possible remodeling project and he doesn’t actually live there.

Meanwhile Jungkook bought an apartment in Seoul Forest Trimmage in late 2018. Hoseok also has an apartment there.

The car sharing situation to and from airports and events seems to fit with where the boys bought their apartments, grouping them by the areas where they purchased their apartments, so it’s likely none of them live full time in the dorm anymore.

What is interesting is that Jimin often travels in the same car with Jungkook and Hoseok in 2019 even though, by all accounts, the property he bought isn’t near The Trimmage, nor is the dorm, if that’s where Jimin is still living. By 2020, Jimin and Jungkook seemed to be traveling to and from events almost exclusively together, and there have been recent rumors that Jungkook has bought another apartment and no longer lives at The Trimmage, explaining the absence of Hoseok traveling with them.

The car sharing is just one part of the belief among Jikookers that Jimin and Jungkook are cohabitating. There are also a bunch of small moments that add up to a bigger picture.

Jimin talking about how Jungkook’s snoring has gotten worse lately. Remember, Jungkook does not live at the dorm anymore.

This Youtube stream about the new album where the band talks about texting Jimin their ideas and Jungkook says, “I’ll just tell them to you,” indicating they would be together and there is no need for a texting. For some reason BH didn’t translate that part. It’s at 24:38 when Jungkook touches Jimin’s leg.

More Room Sharing

Now, as if it weren’t enough to be around each other all the time for work and potentially living together back in Seoul, there’s also been a few other times where it seems like Jimin and Jungkook are sleeping in the same room.

For instance, consider when they first arrive in Saipan for Summer Package 2018. There are cameras already set up in the entryways for all the members’ rooms, which obviously Jikook didn’t know because they go to Jungkook’s room together and freeze immediately when they see the camera. Kind of like they got caught doing something.

Jimin wanders around and plays it off like he just wanted to check it out and see how Jungkook’s big room was different before going to his own. Because that’s natural, right?

Whether Jimin ended up coming back and staying with Jungkook after they turned the cameras off is debatable, but there’s reason enough to suspect that was the original plan, at least.

Bon Voyage 3, filmed later that summer in 2018, gives us a little more to work with in thinking they managed to pull it off this time, at least for a couple nights. In the second episode, Jungkook wins the room-picking game and gets a room all to himself with a private bathroom. Taehyung joins the others later in this season and winds up picking Jungkook’s room to stay in for the rest of the trip. Namjoon and Hoseok share the room next door and use the bathroom in the living room, while Jin, Yoongi, and Jimin share the big room upstairs with its own bathroom.

And at least according to how the series is edited, this is how you’d think the sleeping arrangements were kept. However, there’s a few moments that feel a little off and could be interpreted as evidence that Jimin did not stay in the big room with Jin and Yoongi, but instead moved to Jungkook’s room after the cameras turn off at night.

The behind cam for episode 2 features Hoseok giving us a tour of the house showing where the members are staying (starts around 3:17). He mentions that some of them are in the shower. Now, he, Namjoon, and Yoongi are on-camera in the upstairs bedroom, so it’s not them. The door to the upstairs bathroom is closed, so someone (Jin or Jimin) is likely showering in there. The shared bathroom downstairs is shown to be empty when Hoseok walks by. No one is in Hoseok and Namjoon’s shared bedroom. Even though one bathroom is empty, there are still three members unaccounted for: Jin, Jungkook, and Jimin.

Hoseok says he thinks Jungkook must be showering so he won’t go in his room. The video then cuts to Hoseok in his own room with Namjoon. Jimin appears soon after with wet hair, so he was definitely in one of the showers recently. Jin shows up, too, also with wet hair. So they’ve both showered, only one of them could’ve been in the one upstairs, and the shared bathroom in the living room was empty. That means someone had to be in Jungkook’s shower.

After the next cut, Hoseok starts to go into Jungkook’s room but stops in the doorway to tease him about how “amazing” his body is. You can hear Jimin say “you shouldn’t see this,” from inside the room. We can pretty safely assume Jungkook is at least a little naked here and fresh out of the shower. And remember, we just saw Jimin in the other bedroom, but now suddenly he’s in Jungkook’s room, where Jungkook is naked, before Hoseok got there?

We can also see there are two sets of towels on the bed. Jungkook pulls one from the nearer stack to dry off his hair, and Jimin walks around to the far side of the bed where the second stack is.

So not only did Jimin likely use Jungkook’s shower before we saw him in Hoseok’s room earlier, but he also felt comfortable enough to come back to Jungkook’s room while he was showering.

From another clip in the same behind cam, we get a pretty clear look at how Jungkook has settled in his room when he’s alone.

His suitcase is lying open and in front of the door, his electronics are all charging (also in front of the door), and his things are only on the nightstand closest to the door. It’d be pretty hard to get in that room without knocking into something and disturbing that setup, right?

The next morning, we see Jimin in Jungkook’s room, already dressed and ready for their date friendship trip, trying to wake Jungkook. (Episode 3 behind cam, starting around 4:50. It’s all very soft but there is also butt slapping, because of course.)

What’s interesting, though, is that all of Jungkook’s things are still in front of the door. So either Jimin got in the door without moving any of the things that someone would reasonably knock into early in the morning when they came downstairs for a shower, or he was already in the room from sleeping there overnight.

Also, that other nightstand is no longer empty. There’s now a glass of water sitting there, even though Jungkook seemed to only be using the other nightstand last night. And this is also the side of the bed where the other set of towels were, the side of the bed where Jimin sat down like he was comfortable doing that in someone else’s room.

More confirmation that Jimin is using the shower in this room: he tells Jungkook that they’re out of shampoo in that bathroom.

Now, this all comes to an end once Taehyung arrives and it’s pretty clear he is sleeping in Jungkook’s room and Jimin is back up in the upstairs room with Jin (Yoongi left when Taehyung joined them). But we get one last moment where Jimin’s habits of feeling free to come and go in this room as he pleased reveal themselves (Episode 4 around 50:47). Everyone starts to get ready to make dinner but Jimin walks into the room to do something:

Then immediately walks back out.

Kind of like he forgot for a second that’s not his room anymore. Or at least that’s the theory.

a decade in fic: 2011-2020

following @denugis' lead

The game is just to pick your favorite fic you posted in each year for a decade.

2011: All Our Wrath and Cutting Beauty (gencest Sam/demon!Dean; mature, 6K) This fic holds such intense nostalgia for me. For one thing, it's the first bang @quickreaver and I did together, and I will never forget setting my alarm for 2am to claim her awesome prompt-piece of demon Dean and yellow-eyed Sam.

2012: Wow what a hard year to pick just one. I can't, I refuse! The two that tie for favorite this year are Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea (Sam & Dean, 9k; Teen, art by @quickreaver) This is a Sam has always been Lucifer AU of season 5 and one of the first humorous fics I wrote. I'm so very fond of it and QR's art is just spectacular. and Burdens, Doublefold (Sam & Brady, Dean/ Jo, Mature, 67k; co-written with @quickreaver, art by ileliberte) A remix of seasons 1 & 2 where Sam teams up with Brady to take down Azazel and Dean teams up with the Roadhouse crew.

2013: again such a hard year to pick just one! Argh. I think I will cheat and go with my favorite series from that year since it includes two fics I'm very happy with: Counteroffer The first fic, by the same title, is psychological horror with unreliable narrator Dean, and its sequel, The King's Guard, Andy's POV, set mostly in Hell with King of Hell Sam, of course. (Sam & Dean, 8k, Mature for horror elements)

2014: He Who Fights Monsters (Sam/Ruby, Explicit, 52k), because it's probably the fic of mine that I go back to re-read most often. Co-written with nwspaprtaxis and with art by @quickreaver this is a season 3 MMA AU where Sam literally fights demons to break Dean's soul out of Hell.

2015: Bad Becomes Worse (Bucky Barnes/ Steve Rogers; Explicit, 17k ) post-Zola angsty Bucky. This is probably my favorite MCU fic I wrote. Bucky POV after Zola experimented on him up to and through his Winter Soldier years.

2016: How They Make You a Weapon (Bucky Barnes; Mature; 35k) I love this fic so much. It's the first and longest Bucky fic I wrote, set in the Winter Soldier's POV, the first and only second person fic I ever wrote. This fic had updates from 2014-2017, but 2016 is when it was pretty much completed. It also has this amazing comic adaptation by the incomparable @luckyraeve

2017: The Long Road to Lynbrook (Bucky Barnes/ Steve Rogers; Teen, 9k) If you had told me when I first started writing MCU fic that I would write a frog prince AU and it would be one of my favorite fics, I would've had some serious doubts but omg when you LOOK at how cute @artgroves prompt art of steve holding frog!Bucky was, you'll see why I couldn't resist.

2018: Wedding Party (Eddie Brock/Venom, Teen, 2K) I love writing Venom fic so much. It's such a fun world to play in, but this fic in particular was just sheer joy. Possibly also the funniest fic I've written. You tell me.

2019: His Soul to Keep (Sam/Dean; Mature; 13k) I had to take an extended break from Supernatural after the heartbreak that was seasons 8 & 9, and jumped ship after early season 10. This fic, though it's a season 3 AU is definitely where I processed all of that heartbreak. @sketchydean made some truly spectacular art for it too.

2020: On His Head a Crown (Sam/Brady, Sam & Dean, Mature; 20k) End!Verse utopian-dystopia AU. This was a fic I'd wanted to write for years and it was so satisfying to finally get it down, but @slytherkins gorgeous art made it sooo much better.

Hi l, I’m kinda new in the jikook fandom, so I would like to know your thoughts about the way l they have been too obvious. Is it not to dangerous to them be like this? I mean, people just watching them more often now.

Some “too obvious” moments.

1. Rosebowl Ear Sucking

I think this is the first one that comes to most peoples mind. In Korea, skinship between same-sex friends is common, so lot’s of ‘ship moments’ can be passed off for normal. However, what doesn’t fall under traditional norms for Korean skinship is sucking your friends ear while back-hugging them. And I think Jimin’s reaction of shock spoke volumes.

This video’s editing is hilarious lol. As you can see, even people at the concert were going ‘WHAT THE F*CK’. Definitely a ‘too obvious moment’.

Can we also talk about how Jungkook emphasizes “I love YOU” when Jimin stops shouting it. Call me delulu but I don’t necessarily think he was talking to ARMY’s.

Again, I think this speaks for itself. There’s skinship, and then there’s staring tenderly into your bro’s eyes and giving him a neck massage. The face of the guy who is sitting next to them says it all, lol.

In the comments of this video, a Korean speaker claims they can read the lips and they are saying things about “boyfriend” or “husband” but I don’t personally speak Korean, and I don’t know how accurate lip reading is unless you’re like actually skilled at it because of a hearing impairment, so for now I’m not gonna add that. If a Korean speaker wants to debate me on this, I’m all ears.

Here’s a cute little compilation of some of their more obvious moments, that made the other members visibly uncomfortable.

Anyway, as I said, these moments are few and far between, and at the end of the day if people don’t want to see it they’ll find reasons to explain it away. For example, people say that at Rosebowl, it was actually Jungkook’s chin getting caught on Jimin’s ear, or that it was photoshopped, etc., etc., etc.. If people don’t want to see it, they won’t, and that’s okay. It means Jikook can act like this with relatively few consequences.

A little throwback and tribute to the city of Beirut.

I spent a couple of days there in May 2018. It wasn't the best time as a tourist, because I randomly ended up there during the time of the first parliament election after 18 years and the city was mostly closed down. Restaurants and a couple of big museums were opened but according to locals, it wasn't the same as it usually is. The shops and clubs were closed (Beirut is famous for its' techno & party scene), and as far as I remember, even the famous B018 was closed.

Even though I remember the city wasn't in the best shape already then (depending on which neighbourhood you were in, there was no garbage collection and electricity fallouts were quite common) I still always wanted to come back to get a glimpse of the beiruti nightlife. I've seen the nightlife of quite a couple middle eastern cities and Beirut is alongside with Tel Aviv a city, that is supposed to have on hell of a techno scene. I remember meeting palestenians and Israelis as well in Jordan as in Israel & the Westbank and a lot of them really admired the Lebanese for their attitude to keep partying even if hell breaks loose around them (which is ironically something that they have in common with Isrealis, who are famous for their trance scene, that they kept nurturing through all the wars, but I suppose this is not something people of both nationalities like to hear too much? It is kinda sad, because both nationalities' love for techno&trance, food, wine and a good smoke is unmatched in the middle east. Even though Israelis are somewhat stiff on the dancefloor. If you want to get your blood pumping on the dancefloor, you gotta dance with the Palestenians. But yeah, I'm drifting off. There's history between Lebanon and Israel and it isn't too good. ://).

That being said, I'm really sorry for the loss of lifes and the loss in infrastructure and I hope the damage that was done by the explosion is being able to repaired and the lebanese government GETS THEIR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER. NO ONE LIKES AN INCOMPETENT GOVERNMENT, YOU HEAR THAT?? AND YOUR GOVERNMENTAL POST-ELECTION AFTER-PARTY WAS LAME! (no one showed up, people deadass just partied by themselves in other parts of the city. The musicians practically played to themselves. It was like Corona-MMA...without crowd. Except.... there was no Corona.)

I dropped my camera back then and the screen broke, so I didn't really get to see what I was photographing and I didn't really see what filter and mode I chose, so the pictures of the city are somewhat shaky and in bad angles & different filters (and I lost a couple of pictures :/), but I still hope they do the city some justice and you guys get a bit of a picture of how nice it is.

I don’t remember where this was but I liked the building. I really loved how in Beirut there is such a distinctive combination between old and new/modern architecture.

street corners in Mar Mikhael, a little part of town that is supposed to be some nightlife/hipster-neighbourhood or something like that. Has lots of cute little bars & restaurants.

I almost couldn’t tell there were elections going on. Almost.

and here’s a shaky picture of the government party that barely anyone visited. I don’t know. Maybe I was too late or too early, but there were like...4 people, maximum.

So, I hope I was able to catch quite a bit of the nice vibe of the city, even though when I was there, the circumstances weren’t exactly “daily life��.

edit: I enjoyed being there on my own as a young woman, because I didn’t get harassed ONCE. I only got yelled at by a taxi driver once because he tried to rip me off but I just yelled back & he shut up. But apart from that, I was really, really safe and I definitely loved that.

edit2: Beirut has an autistic-friendly airport, which I really enjoyed. It’s not as “stylish” as other airports, but there is no chance that you can get lost there and it really took a lot of weight of my shoulders, because I tend to get lost in airports. Thumbs up for that <3

tickle dream story !

I literally just had a dream where I was scrolling through the internet and I found a video where Jungkook had ticklish hips. I mean, he probably does but my dream self found an actual video about him getting tickled on the hips, even if it was for a second. Of course, it was Jimin doing the deed since the video was Jimin going up to Jungkook while they were rehearsing for a concert and squeezing his hips within like a five second period. I clicked on the post that then sent me to YouTube to watch the video and it was so cute because he went behind Jungkook and stated to the other members, “Jungkook’s hips are really ticklish.” Then he goes to squeeze them, tickling under the boy’s shirt while Jungkook just melts, standing there and giggling into his mic-piece as he really wasn’t expecting that. It ends as quickly as it started, but you can see the other members fondly smiling at him as he playfully hits Jimin and runs after him to get his payback. I woke up and everything felt so real because I literally woke up to start searching for the video, it could’ve been real I don’t know, but then I realized that it was probably just a dream as nothing came up. I heard Jungkook squeak and giggle and saw him squirm and try to get away— it was the cutest thing ever!! I only have one thing on my mind now: jungkook tickles. So Jimin honey, PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN AT SOME POINT BECAUSE YOU KNOW JUNGKOOK’S ADORABLE WEAKNESS AND YOU KNOW HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!!

Hi! Thank you 🥺🥺 I'm assuming you are referring to this little finger heart here from MMA 2018:

Finger hearts aren't anything different than any other heart. Either with your whole body or your hand or your fingers, It's just a cute little "I love you" almost. Like when you send people hearts to show your love, when they send hearts to armys and to each other. It's very prevelant in Korea as an easy way to do a heart and even more so in kpop. And jikook send each other little finger hearts all the time. 2 other examples. JK giving Jimin a finger heart while he was singing during their PTD tour and Jimin sending one to JK after he lost a game during run because of Jimin lol

And all the members send each other little finger hearts to be sweet and send them to army too. Like here is Jin sending one to Yoongi

Not to mention the way JK taught the UNICEF director how to do a finger heart and how happy he looked to be teaching her about it

But I think the reason that jkkrs in particular were dying over this particular finger heart is because it's down low, it was given between their bodies, it was clearly just for them and no one else. On top of how insanely over the top sweet and melting into each other they were that day, JK literally just sending Jimin his love in his little finger heart was just the cherry on top basically. One more thing to cement how incredibly in love they were behaving that day.

And it wouldn't be the first time they exchanged what would have been a more private finger heart. Lol like this time when JK was filming Jimin walking and Jimin sent him a finger heart. Only for JK to immediately stop saying that it wasn't his phone and Jimin being confused. Yeah, that finger heart was meant for a video that was going to be kept for JK, or at least, that was the intention. It wasn't meant for whoever that phone belonged to or just a community filming phone 😂 but like they send finger hearts to staff, to friends, to army constantly. Why did that one have to be meant only for JK? 😏 food for thought lol

So I don't think its the finger heart exactly that had people thinking it was significant, it was simply just the context around it. And it's super sweet no matter what. Sending your love to someone with little hearts. I love how often they send us, staff, press and especially the members themselves little hearts. It's adorable!

My point was that every ship has a “the way jungkook looks at xx” I agree that he does have the honey dripping moments like mma 2018 or the BE comeback live but the issue is how often people pass off instances as one of those moments.

And it’s the whole double standards “i never see him look at any other member that way, only xx” when those so called looks can be how he looks at rm or v, which is why other shippers claim to have those moments. Which is also why i say it’s dehumanising because the simple act of jungkook looking at someone is so glorified or romanticised (every damn time). He could have one off expression and people would think “jealousy.” He could be staring a little too long and people would think his mind is in the gutter or he’s smitten. Imagine being the subject of that, especially me who has a staring problem but without a thought in my mind lol.

Do you see the issue? Without our narration, he’s just looking. But every damn time there’s always a narrative. Especially jikookers who get giddy every time jungkook looks at jimin. And of course it applies to other shippers.

Dehumanizing is a bit of a big and harsh word though.

People tend to romanticise, that's just human nature. We love the romance, the happy ending, the love story, and at times we tend to look for it even where it isn't.

Yes, there are many cases when JK is just looking, staring, daydreaming, staring into space, whatever you want to call it, and is misread by shippers. JK has his intense staring moments, and he can have them with the other members too.

But, like I said in your prior ask, there are many moments that are just different. It's not about a blank stare, it's about the way he looks at JM. And it's not one singular type of look. He has this soft, "I'm in love" look. He has this "god, he's cute" look. He's got a "I want to devour you" look, and "you're my whole world" look. These are looks only JM gets.

So again, yes, not every single time he looks at JM we get one of those special looks, but we do get them and they are exclusive to JM.

I say to keep an open mind, use your own judgement and life experience and make your own conclusion as to when you think JK is being all googley eyes for JM and when he's not.

MadaSaku, Time Travel AU, Eventually Mature

This is my most popular fic and my main focus as a writer. It’s an AU where Sakura is thrown backwards in time during the battle between Danzo and Sasuke. The majority of the story so far is her amassing a reputation as a miracle healer and as an incredibly powerful kunoichi. I thought it would be more realistic for Sakura to have to survive and eventually thrive in the past before she came across one of the major clans (well, except for the poor Fuma clan).

The story has already gotten to the point where she meets Madara and Izuna (in a pretty flashy way). This is my pride and joy and it’s a fic I’m very happy to write. I love writing Sakura as this incredibly powerful and indomitable woman who demands respect wherever she goes while simultaneously being this sweet, openhearted healer and friend. And I love writing Madara as being this powerful, intelligent and calculating, yet kind man who people have to work to earn a way into his heart. I always envisioned Madara as being a man who needed a indomitable woman like Sakura to make him happy. A woman who could challenge him yet encourage him at the same time. And this woman would certainly be Sakura.

He nearly shivered as her fingertips brushed his clothed collar bone, his sharingan flickering on of its own accord. The world around him became sharp and crisp and the sight of her reaching out to touch him embedded in his mind before his sharingan returned to inactivity in the span of a heartbeat.

“It’s not mine,” he muttered in a tone deeper than normal as he stared at her concerned expression.

He turned his head to face her and could feel heat rising to his cheeks as he noticed how close they were, their noses nearly touching. All he could see of her was her half lidded eyes and her dilated pupils, the black heavily encroaching on the sea green of her irises. She stared right back into his lazily spinning sharingan, her own cheeks taking a red hue.

This fic was actually the beginning of me rejoining the fanfiction world. I had written a couple fics but this was the first one I actually went out and posted. It started as a oneshot but I combined it with a couple other WIPs I had and created this awesome story that I was just giddy to write. It has turned out a long longer than I had anticipated although it has been so much fun to write.

It has just begun to rapidly escalate. The story is a little more than halfway done but there is going to be a lot of incredibly intense and “holy shit” moments coming up that are going to keep everyone on their toes! The story is really at a pivotal moment right now so any snippets will give away what’s going to happen. Sorry!

EDIT: I posted this fic while I was doing Sakura Week 2018. It didn’t turn out as absolutely filthy as I had previously planned as another fic (a MadaSaku fic - FF, AO3) I wrote decided to take the whole choking kink. While this fic is still smut, it’s not as dirty as I had originally planned.

This fic is one purely written out of spite. Some random user on AO3 was talking poorly about one of my MadaSaku fics and asked if I was going to do an ObiSaku fic too (because that’s soooooo ridiculous). So I replied with a “you better fucking believe it” and put together an outline for this pure filth with a heaping of fluff and plot.

Some aspects of this fic: Rin will be alive but her, Obito, and Kakashi will be non-romantic best friends. How Kushina and Minato will live and how Minato be Obito’s mentor as he trains him to take over as Hokage. Kakashi will still become the sensei for Team 7 and how Team 7 will split up to train individually, Sakura and Naruto going on journey’s with Tsunade and Jiraiya respectively and Sasuke going with Shisui to train with the Military Police. There will be a lot of self hate, kink self-shame, angst, and a wide age difference.

Nesting

MadaSaku, alpha omega beta AU, founders era, Mature

This fic was entirely inspired by the “nesting” phenomenon in ABO fics. And the fact I very much wanted to write a MadaSaku ABO fic.

Sakura is the leader of the famous clan of healers, the Haruno clan. The Harunos are close allies of the Uzumaki clan, hailing from the same region, and Sakura and Mito are such close friends they consider each other sisters. It is because of Sakura’s influence that Hashirama puts fourth a peace treaty in exchange for him healing Izuna (much to Tobirama’s horror). When the village if finally founded, there is a meeting where all of the clan leaders that are allies of the Hidden Leaf join together to discuss the future. And this is where Madara and Sakura finally meet and everyone makes the catastrophic (at least for a city block) decision of trying to drag them apart.

There will of course be ABO smut with mating bites, pupping, womb sex, etc. But a huge aspect of it will be Sakura and her “nesting” behavior as she chooses a place to make her nest and have her pup. Very sweet and fluffy.

A cute and kind of funny little one shot made because there is a drastic shortage of ShisuiSakura fics. Depending on how long it turns out being I might break it up into smaller bites. It’ll be a non massacre fic with a healthy amount of angst, some super bad first impressions, some happy endings, Sakura being a badass, Team 7 being bffs, and Hokage Itachi.

Here are a coupe snippets although they are very rough because they are part of the outline and not actual written material.

Shisui didn’t get his soul mark until March 28th when he was eight years old.

He had gone to bed that night with clear skin and woke up that morning with his soul mark written across his left pectoral in a flowing, feminine script. He was excited to learn that he did in fact have a soulmate but the fact that the phrase now inked across his chest was the most random, nonsensical bullshit he had ever read in his short life dampened the feeling. Was his red string connecting him to a psychopath?

He couldn’t think of any other reason as to why someone’s first words to him would be “Pants are not ripe water grass bastard”.

What in the hell does that even mean? Was it some sort of secret code? Was she going to be drunk? Was she insane?

Sakura has had her soul mark since she was born although she didn’t learn this until she was a young girl.

When she had asked her parents why she didn’t have one, at the tender age of five after her friend Ino had shown off hers, her parents had laughed with mirth, given her a hand mirror, and told her to find it. After a solid fifteen minutes of searching and acts of stretching that contortionists would be proud of, she located her soul mark printed in a small, professional script in the crook where her inner thigh met her hip. While part of her had been disappointed it was in a very personal place, a spot she could never show up, she had been overwhelmingly satisfied with the words on her soulmark.

“On a warm spring night, after eating dinner with friends and deciding to do a little late-night dancing, a young lady walks across the top floor of a well-lit parking garage. She’s tired, worn out from the night of dancing and to help combat her fatigue, one hand is carrying a latte from the local late-night coffee joint down the road while her other hand fumbles in her purse.

Since it’s the top floor of the garage, there are few really good places to mount a security camera, so the ones that do exist are not able to capture much outside of the fact that behind her, a black-clad man with his hood up approaches her from behind as she unlocks her car door, and attacks. Within seconds, he slams the back of her head, knocking her unconscious with his blow, if not with the ricochet of her head against the roof of the car. Picking up her keys off the ground, throwing her inside the car bodily, he’s driving off through the garage, and is out of camera range very quickly to do…well, just about anything he wants.”

While this is a fictional situation, it’s the kind of thing that I’m starting to think about now that my daughter is going to be attending college in the big city. She has basic skills in martial arts, an interest based on an activity that I required of her when she was a young teen, but doesn’t have a firearm and doesn’t carry any weapons in her purse. What can she do to prevent this kind of attack?

3 Ways to Discourage Street Attacks

#1 – Situational Awareness & Mindfulness

Millennials often get a bad rap for being too tied into their phone, but it’s not only them. People of every age do it and they need to beware of the risks of making their way through life oblivious to those around them. In a world where any kind of media is immediately available through so many channels, it’s easy to put your headphones in and enjoy a little entertainment on those lonely walks down the streets. I love podcasts myself, and I know how easy it is to get lost in what the hosts are discussing and become engrossed to the point of making secondary the thoughts about where you are, where you’re going, what you planned on doing, and how you’re getting there.

Situational Awareness is simply the act of being constantly aware of what is happening around you. It is essential in any kind of potentially dangerous situation to be mindful of what is happening around you, keeping a clear head, focusing on the present situation and your present environment. Use as many of your senses as you can – listen to the ambient sounds, notice the smells of your environment, put your eyes and your head on a swivel, looking behind you every thirty seconds or so, and more often if entering a new environment.

I used the word “mindful” in the last paragraph, because Mindfulness is becoming a part of the zeitgeist of modern life as well. This age-old concept is very simply a set of techniques designed to help you focus on the present moment, and what is happening around you – very similar to situational awareness. Looking up some simple mindfulness exercises like “leaves on a stream” or even practicing basic meditation is a good way to help build your tolerance for long periods of being in the moment.

In the above situation, the young lady who was attacked likely had no idea that there was someone else on the roof of the parking garage, much less that he was following her, even as closely as he would have had to in order to attack so quickly. Having no situational awareness, and likely being lost in a world of her own thoughts or in cell phone music or audio programs was her first big mistake. Had she been looking around, aware of her situation, and perhaps even made eye contact with the attacker on her way towards her car, she may have done enough to encourage him to choose a different target.

#2 – Providing Disinformation

If you were an attacker who wanted to prey on someone, would you choose a man or a woman to attack? Young or middle aged?

Almost everyone would choose a young female. The reasons are simple – she’s less likely to have any interest in martial arts or combat sports, she’s probably smaller and less muscular than her male counterparts, she likely carries more cash or valuable jewelry, and is stereotyped as being more naïve by the media and society at large. Whether any specific female fits those categories is unimportant, its true that the simple act of being a female makes you a bigger target.

Being a young female isn’t something you can control. Or is it?

No transgender stuff here. But it’s possible, highly likely even, that the attacker in the above situation has done at least a small amount of research on this car he found on the top floor of a parking garage late at night, and it’s surprising what you can figure out about someone based on their car.

Does she have custom vanity license plates? If so, those are generally a strong indicator that this is a female, unless the plates say something decidedly masculine like “GUNDUDE8” or “PREP MAN”. If he peeks inside and sees custom leopard print seat covers, a steering wheel cover, or fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror, then assumptions can easily be made. Other information can be gleanes as well. If he sees a Victoria’s Secrets bag in your passenger seat, then what’s he going to assume? The contents of your backseat can tell a lot about a person. Makeup bags, the presence of an infant car seat or a booster, bumper stickers – all of these things say something about you, and help attackers decide if you’re a good target. While they don’t all “scream” female, they do all scream “unfocused” or having their concentration distracted by errands, a child, whatever. We are all guilty of this, especially in places we have frequented where “nothing has ever happened.” Reality is it only has to happen once to be life altering.

The worst offenders of the car customization market are the stick figures that populate the back windows of far too many cars. Sure, they’re kind of cute, but they give way too much information about who you are, who is in your family, their ages and their interests. If you have a single woman with two children on there, chances are that you’re coming out to your car either alone, or with two little ankle biters who are occupying all of your attention.

The best tip I’ve heard for single young women who are at risk for being attacked near their car is to give would-be attackers plenty of disinformation designed to encourage them to choose a different target. A big, well-worn pair of men’s athletic shoes in the back seat, or a duffel bag covered in visible weight-lifting patches and karate logos will go a long way towards indicating to any smart criminals that the person who owns this vehicle is not to be trifled with.

Bumper stickers are also a good way to dissuade people. Pro-gun bumper stickers, particularly if they endorse concealed carry, are a good place to start, as are indicators that you’re interested in things like MMA, wrestling, martial arts, or bodybuilding, whether you are or not. I have heard the counter-argument, that people “looking for guns to steal” look for cars with an NRA sticker (USMC emblem, etc.) The normal pattern of such a person is to follow you home to see what house to target for a robbery, when they observe you have left the premises. Yes, most people like this have gun safes – do you put your bedside go-to weapon in your gun safe every time you leave your house?

Spiked dog collars are also a simple thing to throw in the backseat. While that might not be something that will dissuade an attacker in the aforementioned situation, it will work wonders for dissuading attackers spying on your car in a park, forest preserve or who might be looking at your home as a potential target.

Use your normal routine and patterns to decide what kinds of things you want to decorate with, or stash in your car. Understanding the places where you’re likely to be attacked will provide the best understanding of what will work best for you.

#3 – Just do it

People who prey on others are often quite a bit smarter than you might think. Most have done their homework, and having looked inside your car to find evidence that you may be a very strong male or have a very large dog, might be smart enough to avoid you as a potential attackee. Despite this, an often cited fact about criminals shows that most crimes that are committed in the US are crimes not borne from passion or careful thinking, but simply crimes of opportunity.

The attacker in the situation above may have been in line behind her in the coffee shop and noticed a $100 bill in her wallet, and taken the chance to follow her. He may have just been a normal guy walking to his own car when he had a desperate feeling that he could get something from her. Sometimes, the criminals will ignore any evidence of misinformation you provide, or maybe they’ve cased your car before and seen through your deception.

Sometimes, you just have to fight. Or at least look like you’re ready for a fight.

Many will advise keeping some kind of weapon in the purse, and it’s hard to deny that this would be a good idea, but I would adovcate that, if not well trained in the use of a knife, pepper spray, a pistol, or whatver weapon might make sense for a young lady to carry, that weapon will be useless. It might also function as a distraction – it’s mere existance forcing the attacked person to spend valuable reaction time digging around for the weapon instead of running, adopting a defensive posture, striking back, finding some other form of help, or doing almost anything else that may be more productive in helping the situation.

Instead, the simple act of looking ready for a fight is good enough. Stand up straighter when you walk, turn your head when you look, not just your eyes. Proactively say hi to people on the street to indicate that you notice them, as this can unnerve criminals who are doing their best to avoid notice.

Remember that if the need arises to defend yourself, it is nearly impossible to do so without a free hand. If you carry a purse, consider keeping your hand inside it as you walk, not fishing for anything, but as if you’re holding onto something. The fear of the unknown weapon in your hand may do enough to scare someone off.

Anyone, female or not, would also do well to consider what kinds of objects that you keep on your person and how they may be used as a weapon. Pocket knives are an obvious choice, but making a fist around your car keys creates a deadly combination of striking and slashing weapons that can do serious damage. Aerosol deodorant or hair spray is not a great choice, but it can certainly burn the eyes of an attacker if you get lucky. Using the small, rounded edge of a hairbrush as a striking tool can be helpful to those who don’t have a lot of experience using their fists to punch, and it will likely cause more damage if you don’t already have any martial arts training.

Before exiting the stairwell or elevator, this young women should have had her keys ready in her dominant hand, with the key poking out through her middle and index finger, her hand in a fist. Even with an improper strike, this will cause damage to any attacker. That’s a nice easy weapon to carry that will do the damage, doesn’t require specific training, and will help you stay safe out there in the big bad city. And for those of us with “electronic key bobs”, consider investing in some sharp jewelry/bottle-opener thingy’s to add to the key ring. Also, never forget your extended thumb forward when making a fist as this can be devastating to an eye, a throat, even a kidney. Then again, there is this.

Apparently tough cookie UFC honcho Dana White has a soft spot for Girl Scout cookies and sales pitches by cute kids.

When Araya Gomez, the daughter of UFC fighter Michelle Waterson, needed a big sale for her campaign to sell 2,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, one of the people she hit up via Twitter was her mom’s boss. And what do you know, her sales pitch worked.

“This is the cutest sales pitch I’ve ever seen in my life!!! This is @karatehottiemma’s daughter. I’m going to buy 1000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies!!!,” White said in a tweet earlier this week.

Hey there anon!, I deeply understand your emotions. The hate that JM is going through is really bad and I have personally reported those accounts on twt etc. I even took a few snapshots of a tiktok video comment section... I will surely share them some day or another. Well then lets get started! I can't compare J-HOPE TO JM because they are my biases and both of them captivated my eyes, I just can't resist their flawless moves and they make a great dance unit... it would be incomplete without one of them + JK lol.

Most armies would say that JK is the golden maknae or he's the best overall in the team, well y'all took JM for granted, he's capable of doing so many things as well. He is extremely versatile and he can master any sort of genre.He excels in dancing,his moves and fluidity of his body is astonishing they way he moves every tissue in his body to perfectly to complete the cheoreo is just mind blowing, he is truly the embodiment of dancing! Believe me or not, you should pay more attention on his facial expressions... he keeps it graceful. His fingers and angle are on point.

2. Loving member

Jimin is the member that I connect emotionally to, he's a sentimental person but he just doesn't show it you just have to pay attention on his behaviour and actions. He consoles many of the members and he provides comfort for them. The picture I attached below sets a great example.

1. BTS MAMA 2018... It was a tough year for them. They were close to disbanding, and the members were emotionally drained. My heart sank when I saw hobi breaking down in front of the crowd, you can find tons of fancams but you should take a close look at Jimin. He handled the situation very well and I love the way he gives his subtle touch of love towards the other members.

2. Taehyung grandma death announcement

I don't think that I need to explain the about the situation. Taehyung was really sad and felt guilty as he couldn't mention his grandma name. He broke down and Jimin immediately noticed him and ran towards him and just gave him little pat/huggie.

3. The Final

Even by looking at the picture you can see the comfort. You know that GCF-TOKYO song “there for you’ which implies that Jk means he will be there for jimin but "you gotta be there for me too” which means jimin gotta be there for him too. So yeah, JM just know jungkook well and he comforts Jk pretty well.It was so cute and i wished i was a part of the audience, i would have had a panic attack looking at them being so cute,fluff,intimate ON STAGE . Too bad it’s impossible now .

3.He's a badass [ athletic/ physical ]

Jimin has often talked about his experience in kendo,japanese fencing,Geomdo (검도, 劍道) “Way of the Sword” & hapkido. HAPKIDO: electid korean martial arts .It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, grappling, throwing techniques, kicks, punches, and other striking attacks.

.4.Academic excellence

After Namjoon Jimin has the most remarkable academic achievements in bts. He was one of the top students in junior high and was THE top student in Busan arts high school from ALL the departments. Fun fact Jimin IQ is 128! He was valedictorian too.

"When he was in junior high, he was one of the top students so Jimin's dad thought of enrolling him in a foreign language school. When he decided to go to an arts school, his teachers tried to stop him and were disappointed. He was accepted as the top of his class and attended Busan High School of Arts. He was doing really good. Then he switched to K-pop dancing and decided to be a trainee in Seoul. Teachers also tried to stop him and were disappointed. Park Jimin's life is really something.

36. Our Jimin didn't spend a lot of time preparing for the arts school. He was dancing popping when he decided to go to the arts school. He then learned modern dancing for a little over a year and was accepted at Busan High School of Arts as the top of his class even though he was a dance majorπ TT TT Every member in this group could've been successful at anything. That group is our pride, BTS.

60. Wow! If there's only one dance class, it's really incredible~ It's hard to get a top student from dance department. And it was achieved by a male student and it's Park Jimin TTTT

67. That's what I know too.. I was looking into Busan Arts School before and one class for dance is probably correct. It was mostly music and art classes that I remember. So from Busan Arts School, one out of ten classes and a male student from dance department getting accepted as the top of the class...the percentage is just incredible. I know that the dance class has about 40 students? And male students could be 25:15 or 30:10. Jimin broke through this and became the top.

Namjoon and Jimin really made a huge gamble. They could've went the easier way. Truthfully, if they went their way, they both would have succeeded. But becoming an idol and not knowing what their future will be and BTS not being successful from the beginning must have been really hard for them. But now I'm glad they're successful and they can realize they've made the right choice."

I really respect and idolize him. His personality is unique and its different.He's been through alot. Being kicked from BTS for 8+ times, the members ranking his looks as the last and being called fat and ugly, that's really disturbing. He starved and went on diets just to please the audience and to have a jawline. He works his ass of and he really deserves more. He's obviously cutie,sexy,lovely,sweet guy! He prioritize his career, family and fans before anything. He has absolute heavenly vocals (+crazyyy high notes) and he is the definition of stage presence. PARK JIMIN IS THE STANDARD. Solo toxic fans are definitely going to attack on me but this is the reality.Jimin deserves more and he's such a sweet person. He performs with his whole heart and expresses it wonderfully,he goes all out and each performance comes out from his soul. He loves to perform. I MEAN FOR THE LOOKS, JIMIN IS THE FIRST FOR JUNGKOOK~.

He once even wasn't able to attend THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW due to his sore muscles.

He went through alot and he deserves the #1 in brand reputation, who doesn't admire his determination?
