Her instinct is to give Nell a roll of her eyes and leave it at that – but then, she looks back. Nell is climbing up the side of the building behind her, and she is clearly... less than thrilled with Eden's methods. She's moving quickly, all considering her complaints, but Eden can take no chances. She can't have Nell slowing them down. So, she reaches the top of the building and turns around, extending an arm for Nell to grab. She'll hoist her companion up the last foot or two if it meant they'd get to their destination quicker.
"Hurry up, and maybe we can make it back in time for your knee replacement."

Non solo Pd Puglia corrotto, anche nel resto del Profondo Sud: ad esempio a Torino.
(Q)uella "rete di relazioni (...) costruita per fidelizzare una folta schiera di persone, per poter poi utilizzarle per le proprie finalità politiche, implementando il consenso elettorale per i candidati vicini". Così si legge nel verbale che ha scoperchiato il cosiddetto "sistema Sasà" a Torino, basato sull'antico do ut des. All'interno del partito, come riferisce il Corriere della sera, lo chiamano "signore delle tessere e dei telepass gratis", che "non fa mai nulla per nulla".
Sono tanti i favori che Gallo senior riesce a fare per ottenere voti garantiti come contro favore, dalle visite mediche in barba alle liste d'attesa fino al telepass gratis, lavori nelle Municipalizzate, corsie di favore per le pratiche del 110% che altrimenti non verrebbero approvate.
Per il Pd sono giorni complicati. In Piemonte c'è grande fermento, perché la famiglia Gallo è uno dei maggiori apportatori di voti. Il figlio Raffaele Gallo (a) Torino per le prossime regionali, fino a pochi giorni fa sarebbe dovuto essere capolista di diritto.
Questo è reato associativo con finalità di terronismo.

Small guide on CAS Poses
Last updated: 25. July 23
This will be a tutorial on how you can organize your CAS poses. I will give you an overview of which traits have which animations and I will show you how you can change the trait the CAS pose replaces.

Q: What are CAS poses? A: CAS poses are used to take pretty screenshots in CAS. They replace the normal animations that play when you select any trait. This works for all ages of Sims and also pets, but it does not work for occult forms, as you cannot change traits while in occult form.

Which CAS traits use which animations
First I will be listing all CAS traits with the name of their animation from Sims4 Studio. Some traits share the same animation, therefore you can't have animations for all of them.

How to organize your CAS poses
I wrote down the name of the CAS traits in front to make sure i don't use the same ones multiple times and kept the original name of the CC.

How to change which CAS trait poses use
Most pose creators offer 1 or 2 CAS traits for their CAS poses, but if you already have poses installed for those, you can easily change that to any other CAS trait.
Requirements:
S4 Studio
The CAS pose you want
The trait you want to use
1. Download and install S4 Studio 2. Download the poses you want
3. Open up your downloaded pose and go into the warehouse tab.

4. Open a second S4 Studio, select “Override” under “Animation” in the main menu.

5. Select the animation name according to the spreadsheet of which trait you want to replace. I will just use the trait "Proper" for adults, so I select "a_CAS_trait_proper_x"
6. Save the file as whatever, you only need it for values and not the file itself. This is your Source. Then also go into the warehouse tab.
7. Now you need to copy over the values in "ClipName" and "Key-Instance" from the source file to the animation you want to change the traits in. They text after "Key" will change automatically later.

8. Now do that for both Types "Clip" and "Clip Header".
9. The Warehouse should now look exactly the same for both files.
10. Rename the animation files to however you organize your animations. I will add "Proper_" as a prefix for my package (see "How to organize your CAS poses" above).
11. Done!

Buonasera. Causa contatore saltato, il frigo di casa è rimasto spento per giorni con tutto il suo contenuto che è andato in putrefazione. Purtroppo abbiamo scoperto che il liquame è scolato nelle intercapedini di ricircolo dell'aria, che vanno dal congelatore sopra al frigo sotto, tutte coibentate in polistirolo che ha assorbito lo schifo, e non accessibili ai comuni mortali. Mi era già capitato di bonificare con successo frigoriferi vecchio stile che però avevano comparti stagni e separati, adesso dopo aver pulito la puzza residua è insopportabile anche dopo aver versato acqua e candeggina nei condotti. Mi spiace buttare tutto perché ha nemmeno 4 anni di vita, ci sono suggerimenti alla disperata per poter far qualcosa?
Benvenuto all'appuntamento mattutino con la Sora Kon-Lella.
Prima di tutto devi assicurarti della pervietà di tali condotti di scolo che solitamente convogliano la condensa e la fanno sgocciolare in un contenitore sopra al motore, dove il calore di quest'ultimo la fa evaporare. Importante è ovviamente avere accesso a tale contenitore, sia per rimuovere i liquami di colliquazione organica - temo oramai rappresi - che per raccogliere l'acqua di prova che avrai tentato di far sgocciolare con una siringa (usa un colorante alimentare o una goccia di betadine per essere sicuro che sia quella).
Se invece non esiste tale contenitore, devi comunque poter individuare il punto terminale dove i liquidi vanno a percolare.
Se l'acqua passa tanto meglio per lo step successivo, in caso contrario dovrai comunque procedere alla rimozione meccanica del liquame rappreso tramite scovolino apposito, senno mediante un fil di ferro sull'estremità del quale avrai avvolto appena un po' di nastro adesivo per evitare che danneggi qualcosa.
Dopo un consono numero di passaggi volti a ottenere l'estromissione di più residui possibile, solo a questo punto passerai alla dissoluzione chimica dei composti organici rimanenti.
Se non hai a disposizione un prodotto specifico per la proteolisi enzimatica (tipo Extrazim Plus o Torden Surgi), allora procedi con l'utilizzo di perossido di idrogeno (acqua ossigenata), la cui reazione romperà i legami proteici del conglomerato otturante e ne faciliterà lo scollamento grazie all'ossidazione da parte delle molecole di O2 formatesi nella reazione esotermica 2H2O2 → 2H2O+O2+Q (Q è la quantità di calore sprigionata).
Maggiori i volumi del prodotto, maggiore l'effetto ma anche i rischi nella manipolazione/reazione.
Assicuratəti, perciò, di aver eseguito tale manovra indossando guanti, mascherina e occhiali di protezione, potrai quindi procedere al pompaggio di semplice acqua calda a 60° tramite siringa che concluderà la pulizia dei condotti.
L'ipoclorito di sodio è un clorossidante con un notevole potere disinfettante ma decisamente scarso per ciò che riguarda la proteolisi (ha solo effetto sbiancante) ma lo potrai usare in abbondanza una volta che avrai ripulito dai detriti... ma bada di aver rimosso il perossido di idrogeno altrimenti combinandosi ne inattiva l'efficacia per creazione di cloruro di sodio e ossigeno libero.
Confidando di poterti essere stato di aiuto, ti ricordo che il sale fino assorbe egregiamente l'olio o il vino versati sulla tovaglia, che un tappo di sughero nell'acqua di bollitura del polpo aiuta ad ammorbidirne le carni e che un chicco di caffé tenuto in bocca è molto efficace contro l'alito cattivo.

Sul web, quando usi una vecchia scorciatoia da tastiera (ALT+C, ALT+R o ALT+Q) non vedrai più la notifica con la nuova scorciatoia. Un promemoria finale: la scorciatoia per creare un nuovo post adesso è soltanto C, mentre le scorciatoie per rebloggare o mettere in coda il post sono rispettivamente MAIUSC+R e MAIUSC+Q.
Non usiamo più il servizio di reindirizzamento href.li per i link nei post di Tumblr.

Martedì scorso, feed e blog della Dashboard non hanno mostrato i post per un po' di tempo, ma abbiamo corretto il problema. Se riscontri ancora problemi, contatta l'assistenza.
Sul web abbiamo corretto un problema per il quale la pagina Esplora non si ricaricava correttamente dopo l'accesso.
Sul web abbiamo corretto i  timestamp sui messaggi istantanei. Quindi, "Oggi" significa "Oggi" e non più “meno di 24 ore fa”. Descrizione alternativa: i timestamp sui messaggi istantanei non viaggiano più nel tempo.
Sul web abbiamo corretto un bug per il quale la pagina della coda mostrava sempre la data di pubblicazione in UTC sui post. Così, sembrava che alcuni post fossero programmati per il giorno precedente o quello successivo a quello effettivamente programmato.
Abbiamo corretto un problema nel generatore di anteprima del link che impediva ai link di Etsy di diventare blocchi di link nei post.
Abbiamo corretto un errore sul web che bloccava il sito quando si acquistavano badge nelle impostazioni del blog.
Le email di ripristino della password avevano un po' di ritardo, mercoledì. Abbiamo corretto subito l'errore, quindi adesso dovrebbero arrivare velocemente come sempre.

(A CW for CSE and self-harm, since this is Laurel Rose Willson/Lauren Stratford we're talking about.)
In Satan's Underground, Willson/Stratford claims that she doesn't mention any specific locations or names in order to protect herself and other victims:
You will note as you read that no specific locations are mentioned. In part this is for my own protection, but it also serves to remind you that what I've endured is not limited to one city or region. I have also changed names and descriptions of many key figures in order to protect the victims.
This of course makes no sense, since if the Satanists are actually real and would harm her and others for exposing them, just publishing this book at all would put them in a lot of trouble.
However, this choice does make sense as the actions of a woman who is writing a book full of shit she made up and doesn't want anyone checking her story.
You will notice this kind of behavior a lot when it comes to "whistleblowers" in conspiracy theory communities. They act like leaving out certain pieces of information will somehow keep them safe from the conspirators. Q drops were frequently like this. Of course, the details they leave out are inevitably those that 1. would allow someone to verify their story, or 2. they just don't have the interest, knowledge, or imagination to fill in.
Stratford describes her mother as an incredibly abusive woman, and claims that her mother was responsible for pushing her into CSE. The book presents Stratford as an only child who had absolutely no one to rely on growing up.
But as it turns out, Stratford isn't being entirely honest. For one thing, she had an older sister, Willow Nell. When Cornerstone Magazine interviewed her in their research, she confirmed that their mother had a fearsome temper, but disputed that she was as monstrously horrible as Stratford made her out to be - much less pushed her daughter into CSE and Satanism. While Stratford claims that their father walked out when she was four, in reality he left when she was nine.
According to a friend interviewed by Cornerstone Magazine, much of the abuse Stratford claims her mother inflicted upon her was taken from the novel Sybil, which... that would make sense. This is the woman who pretended to be a Holocaust survivor, after all.
Cornerstone's investigations found that, in general, Stratford was manipulative, toxic, and constantly made things up. Many of her claims contradicted each other. So keep that in mind as we go forward.
She tells the story of how her mother pushed her into prostitution, and it's all very dark and horrible, and I don't think it's necessary to go into all the details. Some of what she claims sounds plausible (and is therefore possibly inspired by the accounts of actual survivors), while others are... strange, to say the least. (Like the claim that there were all these domestic workers her mother hired, that were willing to use young Lauren Stratford in place of actual monetary payment - like, how was she finding all of these people? Or does Stratford think that grungy-looking manual laborer = child molester?)
Stratford also claims that the CSM producers her mother eventually handed her over to were producing snuff films. There is literally zero evidence that snuff films have ever been commercially made, much less child snuff films. What we're looking at is another modern spin on blood libel - remember that during the Middle Ages, Jews were often accused of being secret Satanists who would kidnap and ritualistically slaughter Christian children.
Stratford basically claims that porn is a gateway to CSA, because supposedly once you leave the realm of safe, "normal" sex, you experience an "ever-increasing abnormal, uncontrollable craving for perversions that end in abuse, torture, animalistic behavior, multiple partner sex, and sex with children." She claims that "The cravings become more and more deviant, finally culminating with sexual acts that are almost unthinkable to the mind that hasn't been polluted with hard-core pornography."
This is of course pure bullshit. There's zero actual evidence that porn affects normal people this way. None whatsoever. There is, however, loads of evidence that religiosity (of the conservative Christian kind) really messes people up. The problem is created by the prudes, not the "freaks."

This post spun a little out of control, but it was inspired by @avaraydrake's tags on my previous Jordanna Spence essay. (Thank you for that, btw. Sincerely, they were great to read and clearly gave me a lot to think about.) Specifically, it started from their comments on this scene:

Which I read as Steph abandoning Jordanna while she's unconscious, while avaraydrake pointed out that this is standard first aid practice. Which is true. I personally expect a superhero to do more than just the standard practice, but it is true... in a vacuum.
The reason this moment stands out to me, the reason I tend to focus on it, has to do with a recurring problem throughout the series that isn't directly related to Jordanna. But to explain what that problem is, I'm going to have to jump ahead a few issues, to Issue 8 -- the Red Robin crossover.
See, all through the Batgirl side of the crossover -- in-between insulting Tim, stalking Tim, and also that weirdly sexist dress thing @mzminola pointed out -- Steph is constantly insisting to Tim that she's "different now." That he has to trust and like and respect her again because she's "changed" from the person who tried to chase him down for attention. Even though she spends the entire issue... chasing him down for attention.
Ultimately, the thread culminates in this page:

Which, if you've been paying attention to the series up to this point, rings completely hollow. Frankly, it feels like Steph is just bullshitting Tim because she wants to prove him wrong about her.
Because see, up to literally this very issue? Steph doesn't help, rescue, or assist a single Gotham citizen. She just fights people.
Her first scene certainly wasn't about helping anyone, given that she beat both the racers up and then got them arrested. The second time we see her suit up, she leaps in to save a cop... only because he is Detective Nicholas "St. Nick" Gage, who gets more page time than Barbara, flirts with Steph constantly, and is (very weirdly) basically the deurotagonist of the series.
And even then, Steph doesn't actually save him -- she swings in, punches one guy, and then while she's busy posing and thinking, "ooooh, the cop is pretty," Nick gets them both blown out of the window.

Continuing on to the party scene, even if you don't think Steph abandons Jordanna at that moment, she's not shown helping her either. No one is, really.
And then that, of course, leads into her big confrontation with Scarecrow which... also isn't about saving anyone. It's about how Steph is so strong and stubborn and full of hope (I think?) that she's able to overcome "her ''''worst''' self" (people telling her that she's a shitty superhero), and that's what makes her so inspiring and is why she deserves "a second chance."

That pattern continues for almost the entire first year. Steph doesn't save anyone until Issue 8, when she helps Tim protect Leslie Tompkins. The first time she so much as thinks about protecting "the people of Gotham" comes in Issue 9, and even when it does it's with this... really uncomfortable dynamic, which actually starts back in Issue 4.
See, in Issue 4, during Steph's first patrol in her shiny new ugly Batgirl costume, the first thing Steph does is knock a pair of robbers off a skyscraper, only thinking to ask how much weight a grapple line can hold after they're in free-fall. She winds up swinging them down into a tour bus. It's unclear if Steph is even aware the tourists are there, but to be fair she is trying not to die.

The tourists immediately swarm to start taking pictures (starting with her butt, of course), when Steph is suddenly approached by a certain doe-eyed little girl.

This girl is named Nell Little which, in addition to never being spoken in the text (we only know because of an interview Brian Q. Miller gave at some point), is suspiciously close to Little Nell, Charles Dickenson's archetypal too-good-for-this-sinful-earth angel-victim-child.
Nell Little is a semi-recurring character throughout the book, having 4 appearances over the course of the 2 years. Her personality is sweet and innocent; her likes are Stephanie, trying to be like Stephanie, and watching Stephanie beat up bad guys; and her role in the narrative is to admire Stephanie's every move, tell her what a good job she's doing, and occasionally be put in danger so that Stephanie can rescue her.
I find this recurring dynamic to be extremely off-putting. It doesn't help that this is neither the first nor the last time DC will give Stephanie a young black sycophant and... I dunno, it just hits a weird note.
That note is then amplified by the fact that Nell is present at Steph's first-ever civilian rescue in Issue 9, which ends like this:

...with a literal "and then everyone clapped" while the guy that Steph literally just finished beating up calls her "beautiful" and immediately develops a massive crush on. He's the one who winds up being the Gray Ghost, btw, and when he turns back up he starts addressing Steph exclusively as, "My Violet Avenger."
I'd forgotten that was a thing. Gross.
Also doesn't help that the only thoughts Steph has during the sequence (aside from mindless comedic set-up about her mundane evening checklist) come in this panel:

Where she's literally preening and singing her own praises, with the people she saved boiled down to nothing but, "Zero collateral damage," which just as well might be referring to train.
Then the second rescue we see her do (Issue 10), ends like this:

While the third isn't actually a rescue, it's the big saving-the-world moment from the end of the first year's arc, which just happens to also involves Steph saving Barbara.

(This arc also ends with a still-shot of Steph while someone -- I think the Gray Ghost, but it's left deliberately vague in the panel -- declares, "She's amazing, isn't she?" Put a pin in both of these snapshots for later).

The fourth rescue is a team-up with Damian, which is also the third encounter with Nell Little in Issue 17. It's the closest thing Nell gets to character development, in that she ends the issue thinking that Robin is totally the coolest now, too, and also she's portrayed as sooooo pure that she can help Stephanie make Damian act more like A Real Boy.
Notably, she doesn't trip over herself to tell Damian what a great job he's doing. He just gets a goodbye.

And the last one -- if you stretch the definition of rescue -- comes in Issue 18, the Valentine's story where Steph helps return Teekl, and that instantly wins Klarion over as her best buddy. He ends off that story telling her how unique she is -- sincerely, while the context and the pause in her line makes it read as a backhanded compliment, like she was stopping herself from saying, "Weird."

And that's it for rescues, but Steph does have one more interaction with the public, in the very last issue. It's just.... ugh.

If you read a lot of superhero comics, I kind of hope you see the trend here that makes me so uncomfortable. This isn’t even including all the times she runs into Detective St. Nick, who ends every single one of their interactions (and half of his interactions with Barbara) singing Stephanie's praises, right up until he has to shade in his Tragic Backstory.
Or all the encounters with the aforementioned Gray Ghost, who cannot shut up about “My Violet Avenger” and how gorgeously wonderful she is.
Or how Barbara, Dick, and Wendy are all made, at varying times, to say something to the extent of: “Golly! Stephanie is so amazing!” while the closest Steph gets to returning the sentiment is the moment linked above when she calls Babs, “The only person who’s ever really given a crap about me.”
Rescuing people… it’s a standard trope. The exact frequency varies a lot depending on the era, but if you pick up a random issue of a superhero comic there’s a fairly decent chance that you’ll see your hero(es) dejour saving a random civilian, or even multiple if there’s a disaster situation. I’ve probably read thousands of rescues from hundreds of heroes over the years.
Yet, off the top of my head, I can’t remember a single other rescue that ends with the recuee(s) tripping over themselves to tell the hero how great they are. I’m sure they’re out there, I’m sure plenty of heroes get a big, triumphant, "You're our hero and we love you!" moment at some point in their career. But to make that the default, universal response every single time she saves someone, or even just speaks to the public, for an entire series? That’s weird, right? 
In other series, majority of the time the rescuee doesn’t do anything at all, they just get swooped off-panel. If the hero’s lucky they might get a thank-you and a chance to give a heroic one-liner. Because y’know, the act of rescuing is supposed to be enough to establish that our heroes are heroic. That they only sometimes get thanked—or heck, that people might even lash out or turn against them—helps to reinforce that the heroes aren’t just doing this for praise and affection, but because of some other, more powerful motivation. 
So for Steph to only be showered with adoration at every turn, while her internal monologue focuses exclusively on how good it all makes her feel? That only reinforces the opposite feeling, that Steph's primary motivation is her own reputation and feelings, not a drive to defend other people. That these rescues are far outnumbered by big, showy spectacles where Steph can fight something and look awesome while doing it really doesn't help matters.
This is all exacerbated by two other factors, which come together with everything mentioned above to make it impossible to take her singular, isolated claim of being a hero "for the city" seriously.
The first is the way Steph reacts on the very rare occasion she feels her hero efforts aren't being appreciated. We only see this twice, once in her original meeting with Detective Nick:

(Remember that this is literally her second night out as Batgirl, and she's pissy that he didn't know her on sight.) The second incident is the protest Jordanna organizes in Issue 16, which is only done to make Jordanna look bad.

The other exacerbating circumstance is how the series ends.
Again, there's two factors here. The first is the Black Mercy illusion that Steph is put under, where again, a huge deal is made of how special Stephanie is for being able to break herself out of the illusion, before going into an 8 page montage of Steph getting to be the main character of the entire universe forever, and everyone's favorite superhero, while people sing her praises.
I don't have space for it here because this post is already too long but one of these days I'm going to break down what that whole sequence says about Steph's character when you analyze it in-universe. But more pressing to this post is the conversation surrounding that montage, the last scene in the entire series.
Just for comparison—Tim ends both Robin and Red Robin thinking about his responsibility to Gotham. Cass's Batgirl series ends with her unhappily killing her mother at Shiva's request and walking dramatically off into the night. The contemporary Nightwing series ends with Dick taking Babs tandem skydiving, asking her to “let him do the flying.” Impulse ends with Bart bonding with his new guardians, and Superboy with Kon moving to Kansas and talking about making Clark proud.
Batgirl (2009) ends with Stephanie talking about herself, how many wonderful adventures she's been on, and how this moment is hers and that makes it special and also did we mention she likes purple? Babs is also there to tell her how special and wonderful she is for always being a happy widdle Pollyanna.

And that's really the central problem here.
I am not inclined to give Steph's actions the benefit of the doubt throughout this series because the series is utterly Stephanie-obsessed. Steph only saves people so they can tell her how wonderful she is. All the supporting cast, all the people in the entire city, are only there to stroke Stephanie's ego and tell her she's so amazing.
That line, waaaaaay back up there in the Red Robin crossover? Is the only time Stephanie ever spares so much as a second thought for the people of Gotham. And like I said, that comes across more as her trying to show Tim up, because she spends the entire issue trying desperately to convince him that she is "different now."
If Steph really was supposed to be "doing it for all of them," if her motivation was supposed to be for the sake of others, the writer utterly failed to communicate that because he was way too interested in sucking her dick.
So yeah. Long post but, again, thank you @avaraydrake, because I've been trying to put this sentiment into words for a couple of years now and for some reason your tags gave me the perfect starting point.

"You could." Eden states simply, arms crossed over her chest. Sharpened, polished nails tap on her forearms as she looks about the room. To think – the two of them could deal some heavy damage – right here, right now – to the Kings. It's laid out in front of them; they'd infiltrated their headquarters, alerted no one inside. Burning the building could solve a lot of Eden's problems. Selfishly, she's tempted to encourage it, then allow Nell to take the fall.
But reality sets in far too quickly. ( You could. We could. ) But... they will never stop. Dorian will never stop. He's far too smart; he'd know it was the two of them. And he'd chase them down until they die, or until he dies. Whichever were to come first.
Would they win the battle? Sure; it goes without saying that they would. But the war? Oh, the war would wage on.
"But it'd only slow them down, in the end." And not enough. In another life, in another world, she'd like to agree, to set the place aflame. But she's dealt with the Kings far too long. It's wishful thinking at best, that taking their headquarters would do much more than enlarge the target on her head.

“How do you live?”
L’ho aspettato così tanto, l'ultimo film di Hayao Miyazaki. Ma adesso che è finalmente arrivato nelle sale, ho quasi timore di andarlo a vedere. Non si tratta di aver paura di restar deluso di fronte ad aspettative troppo alte; al contrario, credo sia proprio quella specie di irrazionale riluttanza a perdere la propria verginità circa ciò che associamo alla bellezza, al piacere. Senza scomodare i baci o il sesso — basti pensare a quei libri che abbiamo amato, q quei dischi che abbiamo consumato: e poi, realizzare l’invidia bianca che ci suscita l’aver di fronte qualcuno che si accinge ad affrontarli per la prima volta.
Sarà forse che la parte che preferisco della conoscenza è la scoperta. O forse c’è anche che rimandare l'inizio di una storia è un modo con cui ci illudiamo di preservare più a lungo la nostra innocenza di fronte alle cose, quasi fosse possibile fermare un po’ il tempo.
