#spinda #AAAHHHH YES!!! our belovèd spinda. from their café!!! probably one of my favorite minor characters from pmd sky #whom i don't even think was in the original explorers games. i think spinda's café was exclusive to sky. if i'm remembering correct #ly. or maybe that was shaymin village. i know shaymin village was for sure but maybe it was just that and not both of them. either way #have a delicious drink and allow the flower of conversation to bloom! i could quote spinda all day. he had “hopes and dreams” before toby #ever did. THAT'S ALSO like i had no idea what spinda's pronouns were. i kept trying to figure it out because i talked about him quite a lot‚#but no one in game ever talked about him. to mention his pronouns? turns out. there's ONE line of dialogue where the post office fucker in #shaymin village mentions him and calls him a he. i think that's the only time spinda is referred to in the third person with a pronoun #i believe it's when they're talking about like. how you can send gifts or whatever and pick up the characters' responses at spinda's café #which is still a really fucking good feature. of any video game. SEE WHAT I MEAN spinda and their café is just an incredibly good Thing #it's to the point where my home wifi network is named “Spinda's Café Wi-Fi” because i love it so much. so if you're ever runnin around #and you see a wifi network by that name… it might be me! you never know! or… it could be the real deal. the real spinda's café is somewhere #nearby…! ugh. i wish. i would go there immediately #not even to mention all the other shit about this pokémon that's really good. like that they never walk in straight lines or whatever #their little dance. it's just. huUGHKLJKAHJVDHJHDAJSVGD i love spinda. a nice pick-me-up after the underwhelmingness that was grumpig #shake it this way… shake it that way… and stir it all around… and it's done!

I love how Tubbo decided it would be funny to be a pot stirrer and wanted to cause drama and not only completely failed but his friends took it as an opportunity to show how much they care about him and love him. They weren't upset; they took a pause from everything to make sure he was okay and try to help him. Fit and Pac didn't mind pausing their first date for Tubbo even when he was trying to sabotage it. Bagi was used to get in the way of the date, and instead of getting angry, she tried to push him to talk about Fred. They all love Tubbo so much, and he was so scared of losing that love that he couldn't even see it.

Everyone SHUT UP i need a second to talk about the absolute perfect travesty of awarding the Life series winners (Grian, Peal, and Scott) the titles of the three tarot cards the Sun, the Moon, and the Star.

FIRST OFF?? The sun the moon the star is the WRONG order of how they show up in the major arcane!! The star is the 17th, moon the 18th, and sun the 19th!! It’s not exactly backwards but it IS out of order with The Sun being the first and The Moon as the most recent winner.

Now individually; Grian as the sun. The Sun is symbolic of life in full bloom, happiness and opportunity, it means success, it means the universe agrees with the path you’re on and the way ahead is clear. Grian, who accidentally indebted himself to scar, who fought against his soul bound the second he saw the other end. Who keeps killing the people closest to him. (He was only ever meant to watch)

Scott as The Star, it fits his aesthetic but BRO. The Star is healing, it’s renewal of old feelings, it’s a readiness to give and receive love. Scott, who divorced pearl right off the bat and picked a new soulmate who died in the end at the hand of pearl, who has continuously has partners who die before him every single time. (Oh look a poppy, what an ugly flower)

And Pearl, lovely Pearl, as the moon. The Moon, vague and unclear, things are not as they seem; deception. Usually caused by misunderstanding. Pearl, who was broken up with like 5 times and descended into her villain arc plain as day, who never really lied. Who still won at the end with forgiveness. (You came here and you caused death whether you tried to or not)

So normally we only get fullblown, extended and dedicated flashbacks for heroic characters in One Piece, the characters who we're meant to root for. The literal only TRUE exception we've had to this rule was Big Mom's flashback. Even fucking Doflamingo's flashback was tied to Law and Rosinante's

So the fact that we haven't gotten a single fucking GLIMPSE at Crocodile's backstory is?!?

Like sure, we haven't gotten like a Moria flashback, but you know, he literally told us all we needed to know himself, AND we got to see glimpses of him in the Wano flashbacks. Arlong didn't get a flashback of his own, but he did get to cameo in Fisher Tiger's flashback. And Rob Fucking Lucci got a flashback that was 6 whooping panels long

BUT CROCODILE?? Not only do we know almost Fuck All about his story, but also have never gotten as much as a glimpse at it? But his backstory has been HINTED and TEASED at multiple times??

Like. I am SURE the "Full Backstories for Heroes Only" rule is going to get broken again, but with Imu and Blackbeard already there just BEGGING to have their beans spilled, can we even be sure Sir Fucking Crocodile is somehow going to become A Villain So Dangerous To The Narrative that he ALSO should also recieve a Full Fucking Backstory?? #turning novel #터닝 #kishiar la orr #yuder aile #when i tell you i read the manhwa in one go last night and then started reading the novel today bc commenters said it was good #and my god were they right #i'm 40+ chapters in so i've just passed where the manhwa is at rn and wow #first of all thank god there are high quality and easily accessible translations #second of all kuyu-nim has a way of making all the lines carry weight. the dialogue and body language cues especially #like i'm definitely not that far in but there are already a few lines i can point out that made my heart clench #and the tension between the two leads is so so palpable #kishiar is very enigmatic i'm very interested in finding out what he's really thinking and what his abilities are #and i really appreciate the way yuder's development is focused on him caring about others and relying on them #ok and third the fact that it's a slow burn romance but focuses heavily on the plot and politics and relationships is so good #based on the tags this could have been very tropey but they didn't go that route and i'm glad for it #in other news i'm upset about how yuder came out but i have to post him bc i will not separate them ;;;#thought kishiar would be harder to draw bc he's pretty:tm: and i struggle drawing pretty boys but yuder put me through the wringer fr #anyway!! i love them very much!! going a little insane over them as you can see!!
