Swallowing my nerves at last to send you an ask! I was just wondering, what inspires your designs? Are their inspirations in stuff like movies or games? Or just things you come up with yourself?

i .. honestly its kinda hard to tell, sometimes i just randomly think of something, like some detail, or color combination and try to incorporate that into a design somehow; it can come from anywhere, like the color scheme of a pithaya/dragonfruit is something i have been wanting to make a design with for ages but havent come up with anything good in all those years ;O;

im a very easily fascinated by color, espeically in nature, like sometimes i just stop and stare at something like i froze in time bc i just woooooooooooooah color! i probably look like a weirdo doing that though

its really hard to pinpoint anything specifically, the most is probably .. other artists? i guess? which always makes me nervous bc my memory is shit in most areas of life and i worry myself to pieces whether i unintentionally "stole" an idea and just dont remember and think it was my own, it goes further that sometimes i see something that makes me want to draw a similar concept but dont bc i dont want to 'steal' even if that couldnt be further from my intention (have been accused of that before ..)

that said for my ocs specifically .. most are rather old and have just kinda evolved out of their awkward first iterations (shargons first iteration was a hauro-howl- copy that was really just some human covered in feathers .. another oc was once a hellboy copy but in green- havent drawn nor redeisgn them in ages lol), the biggest inspirations for them is a mix of animals, bonus if you dont see them often- im a big shark, whale and sea creatures in general nerd so i tend to take from them as a priority but always trying to be less directly animal and mostly just .. features that work together

Eadrya is one of the newer OCs- i started to write but then looked at my folders and oh they are from 2017 .., i even made a design timeline for them how much they, and my art, have changed back in 2020, so thats also way outdated now lol (they apparently started as a whale .. thing? its like a pokemon evolution lol)

this is them now (i like this sketch still, though shargons design is now also outdated lmao)

for demons i try to be a bit more wild on shapes and colors while still adhering to the rules of how they work (humanoid form, demon form, animalistic, one element each and more or less made to fit that, 4 arms is very common, look to be bost scary and wild but also something that would make you stop in tracks and stare in awe and fear if you crossed paths)

often times designs just kinda .. happen, i have maybe the idea ok i wanna make something with a white and red pattern also moose or those big horned cows are cool and kinda scary so maybe sth akin to that (though this one is technically a redesign too- its also pretty much entirely different)

for non demons but still non human i go for a much more restrained design, mainly inspired directly by an animal and giving the color scheme a good spin, plus adding unconventional body shapes, like ki'ita is also a good example, her old idea was just orca anthro pirate and just by making the white green instead in her most recent redesign already adds that little spin to it

that can have its pitfalls though, as i often fall into the big arm small head small legs scheme over and over xD

alot of it is trial and error, deciding on the colors can take me hours bc im always searching for my little rule of having one contrast color that shows up in very few places to draw attention to it (like with Eadrya its those bright yellow eyes and thingy at their tail)

and that is all about myy own ocs, when its fandom stuff it works kinda similar though, either in the connections i wanna draw or just thinking it further- like how deities in destiny work also just kinda .. happened like an ever derailing train

like for demise i was at first really just im gonna give him horns bc horns are cool and he got those on the starting mural in the game- so how his hair work? well maybe it isnt hair actually and just unbound energy, im making him a deity too and fit hylias design to his so, yeah, then so how does it work, ok he gotta have a skeleton still, but what if his entire actual body is made up of pure magical energy with its core in the ribcage? with the core in the ribcage >:3c and the scales you see are just like cooled down lava as an armor bc his thing is fire and earth !! the normal blood? is a thin layer of skin imiated from mortals to keep the scales together and flexible so if he ACTUALLY gets hurt hed bleed magic that looks more like lava and any normal blood you see is just the armor- so why does he have a skeleton still instead of being just energy? maybe its gotta be bound to something OH and what if all of the deities started as mortals like a mirror to the trio later on and the gods cannot have direct influence to the worlds so they needed a right hand that is neither god nor mortal but both by killing a mortal by whatever their element will be (demise burned, hylia drowned etc) and their skeleton and spirit is kept but put into a body of magic- OH what if their spirit core is like almost piloting their bodies like a mech in a way bc if youd look close youd see that every strand of magic is actual a hand of their spirit so it makes it more weird and other bc hed be able to reach out with thousands of burning claws of all shapes and sizes like the beheaded forest god at the end of mononoke- SO if hed lose and arm or something all those strands would untangle and rearrange his bones back together-OH MY GOD the whole armor idea works so well for ghirahims dark armor so what if demise had two swords once and lost one and since has forged an armor similar to his own for ghirahim out fo fear of losing him t---

and that all is a process that happens over several weeks and months not rarely while i am drawing something mindlessly and suddendly *have a thought* and omg that makes so much sense-

so "what" inspires my designs? an ever derailing train of thought about making cool thick monsters that arent the evil thing to get rid of for once? cool color schemes? idk it just kinda happens??

been thinking about doing a class swap for a week or so, but i couldnt think of anything for prudence - until party fowl, of course, where oxventure gave an alternative class to me XD i might come back to these and do lines and color, but for now, just some sketches :]

some extra rambling under the cut about my thought process for all of these:

corazón was a pretty easy choice, considering he's already in a band and loves to charisma his way out of things, haha. he's a little less flashy than canon corazón since being a bard gets him plenty of attention as is LOL so he dresses more plainly. he puts up a display of being very cheerful and a friend to all, but this is very much a display - he still is corazón, with all of his brooding and jealousy, which led to him getting the rest of his pirate crew cursed, of course. though he was not initially captain of the joyful damnation, he took control of it after the incident of the cursehole, and is slightly prone to going on rants about "oh, they never took old CORAZÓN seriously, but see who isn't cursed now!" (<- was the one who got them cursed)

prudence was still raised by cyrus the hermit, but when she decided to follow cthulhu instead of zargon, she left behind the life of a warlock entirely. she still follows cthulhu, hence the evil-looking octopus tattoo on her shoulder, but this is purely a religious thing and does not grant her power. she's path of the beast because of course she is, she's a werebear. she carries an axe. she does not use said axe when she can just claw wildly or whip her tail around, but she definitely carries it!

dob was my favorite to draw. he's a pretty boy :] he has the most different backstory - he still got rabies, but an archfey took pity on him after suzette left to find a cure and gifted him with a fruit from feywilds to cure him. he spent some time in the feywilds as he recovered and was only returned to geth quite a few years later, and promptly set off on a quest to find his lost sister. this was, of course, a way for the fey to lay claim over him and now he's in a deal that greatly hinders his life, but he likes looking on the bright side of things! everyone thinks he smells lovely and comforting and he doesn't even have to wash himself for it to happen! awesome!

egbert is incredibly similar to canon. he has a big shield, hits people with his mace, and he's the religion guy (does not do anything with this). when he left the noble order of le dragon d'or, he was called to follow la vache mauve and was bidden to swap his class to cleric. he is not exceptionally good at the healing side of being cleric, but luckily he's light domain, so he can just blast people with all sorts of fire and radiant spells

merilwen was probably the hardest for me to sort out, since she is so based in being a druid and going with ranger seemed too easy (and also was already given to dob, lol). the vision of her riding on a bear took over though, so i went for cavalier so she could have advantage with mounted combat! i imagine that she would very rarely get to do this, but she loves that she has the ability to, and she definitely has an unnecessarily high animal handling score

Obsession: here, he spirals bad. nothing matters but GOLBetty. not a moment of his life is meaningful if it isn't spent looking for her, studying how he could find her, contact her. hell, even how he could appease her as a goddess. worship her, give offerings, pray, whatever might grab her attention, or get him closer to her. his life doesn't matter if it isn't for her. the rituals he attempts delve into darker magic, blood rituals(to which he loses a finger), things he shouldn't be doing lest he anger some other god, or lose too much blood, or get himself possessed, etc etc..... he becomes a bit manipulative to people around him, to try furthering his goal. convinces prismo that he hadn't actually gotten a wish, and deserves a redo. uses the fact that prismo might relate to losing a loved one, like jake, to guilt him into bending the rules a bit... simon wishes for the crown, from some other universe. who it was taken from, it doesn't matter, so long as he can use it. it's different, of course, from a different world.... he still becomes cursed, his memory only minorly affected, but the ice is all the same. his tolerance for magic is much greater now, given what he's been putting himself through for the sake of GOLBetty, not to mention talismans he'd been carrying. it keeps the crown from completely overtaking, but he is still cursed. everything he does is for GOLBetty

now that that's out of the way, im not entirely sure if the Obsession sub-AU simon's twisted, freezer simon look should be from this alternate dimension crown, or a result of another ritual gone awry. open to suggestions!

The conflicting feelings tara had after sam left would be very interesting to look deeper into, in my opinion, if my sibling left me w/ a very toxic alcoholic mother, no matter the reason, i dont think id forgive them as fast as tara did (that could just be that ive never had a great relationship w/ my sibling though, whereas tara did) but i feel like even if tara forgave her, there would still be lasting conflicting feelings about sam (which they did show in scream 6, but i feel like it could've been deeper than that), i feel like something like that is something you don't just get over, and it tends to end in resentment, cause why could you leave when i couldnt? Or why did you get to reconstruct your life piece by piece when i was stuck in a toxic home? Those tend to be the most common reactions to abandonment like that, and just knowing why sam left wouldnt remove all the years tara spent wondering what she couldve done, what wouldve made sam stay. I do quite like the path they took in 6, where they did kind of show the resentment/anger tara had for sam, but i wish there was more to it. They kind of passed it off as 'oh, taras drunk. Theres not much behind it' and dropped it for the rest of the movie when they could've done so much more. Like i said, if my sibling ever did what sam did, even after they came back into my life i would constantly have conflicting thoughts of 'i hate them' to 'i love them' and back and forth, and i hope they show atleast a bit more of taras abandonment issues if they make another movie, because i feel like it would be really interesting to get more stuff about her character and reactions.

I would like to add that this is partially based off how i would react to my sibling doing that, which in itself could make my perspective on this completely different cause ive got like 10 scenarios i can think of off the top of my head that would make me 100% biased about how i would react to stuff. But it is also based off some human behavior stuff i already knew

I think there's too many individual factors involved to generalise the situation. At the end of the day, there's so many people who wouldn't forgive their sibling in this situation, but there's so many who would.

Personally, I've never forgiven my brother for the nerve to be born in the first place.

I think this is all part of what makes Tara a much more fascinating character to take apart and reconstruct, because I know Sam, I can see why she does the things she does, I know her motivations, her fears, what makes her tick. We just don't have that information for Tara. Sam's story starts the moment she finds that diary, and we know what happens after that. But it feels like Tara's story starts the moment she is born, and we don't see any of it, any of the formative stuff. We only see the aftermath. By that I mean, what defines their characters and their personalities. It's really interesting actually, because obviously we don't actually see a young Sam either, and yet we've been given so much more context to who she is and why.

In 5, she's overwhelmed by her sister's return to her life - an event she thought would never happen. She never thought she would see her sister again. She clearly begins to work through her feelings about Sam returning between 5 and 6, however I don't read the way she reacts to Sam in 6 as actually being upset with Sam at all.

I think Tara has forgiven Sam. For everything. I think, as we see at the end of 6, she realises she would rather have her sister in her life than not, and to do so, she has to let go. Of her anger, of her fears, of her facade of a normal life.

She learns in 5 that Sam leaving was never her fault, that there was nothing she could have done to help her or change what happened. She learns that Sam left because she thought it was the only way to protect her, from herself. Tara forgives her for that. Sam clearly then makes up for lost time, and does so in a way that unfortunately Tara can't quite fully appreciate because it's conflicting with her trauma and her attempt to ignore the fact she died. Something she can't do because it's also what brings her sister back to her. Sam uproots her life once again and does so to make one with her sister, she's dedicated to her, she builds her new life around her. It's all an act of worship, and Tara knows that. She digs into it when she's drunk and arguing with Sam. But that argument isn't really about Sam and Tara's feelings about her. It's about Tara trying to pretend everything is fine, when she's not fine.

Writing prompt for ya: Instead of falling into the Ever After, Ruby finds herself in another strange world, one inhabited by strange, digital monsters~

(Here's my attempt)

Ruby sighed as she quietly walked through the forest, watching the telephone lines above that she and Palmon had been following. Though, not jumping for joy about seeing any of this was a bit out of the ordinary for her. Instead, all she could do was walk through this digital world, running her fingers over the strange device she found in her pocket, the one that Palmon called a “digivice”, and pray that the way out of this place was near or that she could find one of her friends. “And you’re sure we’re going the right way?” 

“I think so,” Palmon said as she looked up at the telephone lines. “I followed these and found you, so maybe if we follow them again, we can find one of your friends.” 

“So you havent seen anyone else.” 

“Just other digimon.” 

“Right…” Ruby stopped after a bit and looked around the trees that were around them. The two of them had been walking around for what felt like hours and there still didnt seem to be anyone around them. No people, no digimon, just what looked like the remnants of a civilization long forgotten, like in her video games. But unlike those games, everything here seemed real. The trees felt like they had actual bark on them, she could feel and smell the flowers, the scents of the leaves from the trees, and even the fruit that Palmon had given her tasted just like the apples back home. If Penny had been here-

She squeezed the digivice in her hand as her fingers trembled, her heart racing as her breath hitched. Penny had still been up on the bridge with Weiss fighting Cinder. That was all the more reason to get home. Find Yang and Blake, find a way out with the help of the digimon, and make her way back home to be with Penny and Weiss. She couldnt let them down. 

“Are you okay?” 

Ruby nearly flinched when she felt Palmon’s hand on her own, letting out the breath she didnt realize she was holding. “Y-yeah, I’m fine. We should keep going to find my friends.” 

Palmon pulled her hand away, giving a soft sigh as she watched Ruby. “If that’s what you want.” 

Ruby pushed a few branches out of her way as she made her way farther into the forest, moving away from the path she was following. No matter how long she walked, it didnt feel like any progress was being made. Every tree looked the same, the only difference were which trees had the telephone wires that seemed to run through them, and even then, her friends still felt farther away than they had been before. 

She stopped when she heard a loud growl echo through the forest, instinctively reaching for her scythe and pausing when she didnt feel it on her back. “What was that?” 

“That was probably Kabuterimon,” Palmon answered, getting behind Ruby. “We are in his territory.” 

“Then we should try to avoid-” 

“Electro shocker!” 

Ruby used her semblance to move out of the way of a large, electric ball that came towards her, holding Palmon close as she felt the wind blow against her. Her heart raced as she turned around to see a large, insect-like digimon flying overhead. It was nothing like the grimm she was used to at home, much larger, faster, and metallic. “Or we fight-” 

“I know a place we can hide!” 

“Wait Palmon-!” Ruby sighed as Palmon raced off deeper into the forest and chased after the digimon. Running from a fight like this didnt sit well with her, but since she didnt have her scythe, well, there wasnt much else she could do. Her heart nearly stopped as she heard the digimon behind her once more. 

“Electro Shocker!” Kabuterimon yelled out. 

Ruby quickly took cover as another ball of electricity raced in front of her, exploding on impact with the ground. Rocks, dirt, and branches fell on top of her as she looked up from the ground, body shaking as she watched Kabuterimon land in front of her. No matter how much she urged her body to, she couldnt seem to get up and move as she watched the horn of the digimon start to glow. 

“Electro-” 

“Gatomon, Lightning Paw!” 

Ruby’s heart stopped as she heard Weiss’s voice calling from the forest. Her eyes stayed focused on the cat digimon that rushed in front of her, swiping an electrified paw at Kabuterimon. She finally stood up as she watched the two digimon fight, taking a step back into a tree and nearly flinching as she felt Weiss’s hand on her shoulder. 

“Are you okay?” Weiss asked. “I’m glad I found you.” 

“You… you were supposed to be on Remnant..” Ruby pulled away from Weiss, heart racing as she had trouble trying to keep her breath. The memory of being on that bridge and watching Weiss ran through her mind again. “You were supposed to get to Vacuo with Penny.” 

“I-I know, but… things changed. I’ll tell you more once we find everyone else.” 

“What happened to Penny? Is she here too?” 

“Lets find Yang and Blake first.” 

Ruby started to feel lightheaded as she watched Weiss walk away, following the digimon she called Gatomon, giving out orders to her… it? It didnt matter at this point. All that mattered was that Weiss was here, which meant Penny had to be here too, but Weiss didnt say Penny needed to be found, and if Penny wasnt here… Her hands shook until she felt a plant-like hand take hold of her own. 

“Now that our friends are here, I think I can fight now,” Palmon said. “All you have to do is take hold of your digivice and tell me which move to use.” 

Ruby reached into her pocket and took hold of the digivice in her hand. She looked over the red device, thumbing it as her hands shook. In the distance, she could still hear the battle that was taking place, between the digimon yelling and Weiss giving orders. 

“Look out, Gatomon!” Weiss yelled out. 

Gatomon dodged another attack from Kabuterimon as it tried to hit her with its horn. “I cant do this alone!” 

“Ruby, please, she needs help,” Palmon said. 

Ruby took a deep breath as her body started to calm, gripping the digivice as she looked towards Kabuterimon. “Alright. Palmon, Poison Ivy attack!” 

Palmon smiled and started to run towards Kabuterimon, her fingers extending into vines as they wrapped around it. “He’s stunned!” 

Weiss grinned and held her digivice out. “While you have an opening, use Lightning Kick!” 

“Lightning Kick!” Gatomon yelled out as she slammed her foot into Kabuterimon, watching as the digimon quit moving, then shattered into a stream of data that rushed towards Weiss’s digivice. 

Ruby put her digivice away as she watched a stream of data seem to wrap itself around Gatomon, reverting her to Salamon. She made her way over to Weiss, a bit more calm as she kept her breathing even. “How did you know what to do?” 

“Salamon told me what to do before we started walking through the forest,” Weiss answered as she picked up Salamon and pet her. “Then we found you and Palmon getting attacked. But now that’s over, we can try to find Blake and Yang.” 

“And some food!” Salamon chimed up. “Fighting like that made me hungry.” 

“We can get some apples from some trees over that way,” Palmon said as she pointed in the direction Weiss and Salamon had come from. 

Weiss nodded and started to walk. “A little food wouldnt hurt if it keeps you guys going. Maybe we’ll get lucky and find some clues we can use to find Blake and Yang.” 

Ruby quietly followed the three as they walked into the forest looking for apples to eat. Her heart ached as she started to think about Penny and the way Weiss didnt seem to acknowledge her as someone that needed to be found. With a deep breath, she tried to calm herself and put up a fake smile as she started to run to try to catch up. “Dont leave me behind!”

honestly i get that the yoohankim ship isnt the most popular orv ship but their dynamic is soooo desperate and tsundere and feral, its so fantastic and heartwrenching and beautiful. these three will kill for each other, die for each other, live for each other, for better or for worse, kdj and hsy don’t believe they’re anything special to anyone ever and yjh has a wet cat mentality combined with a savior complex, they are the most complicated creatures to ever interact i mean

right off the bat we learn that yjh has the ability to reset the timeline to a specific point and has done so hundreds of times, tossing away every friendship and lover and ally he's ever gained in order to keep himself from dying and maybe do it RIGHT this time, whatever that means, however many allies he can save this time. and he's turned all his choices into strategic maneuvers and tried to cut out his own empathy and worked with people he despised in an effort to find the survival route BUT THEN. BUT THEN KDJ SURPRISES HIM.

KDJ SURPRISES HIM AND HE THOUGHT HE COULD NO LONGER BE SURPRISED BUT THIS GUY HE'S NEVER EVEN MET IN ANY OF HIS HUNDREDS OF RESETS BUSTS OUT AND CHANGES EVERYTHING. because he has NEVER seen kdj in any of the other timelines and kdj KNOWS this because he's read the novelized version of every single one of yjh's attempts to reach a happy ending, and kdj is TERRIFIED by this because that means kdj has died in every other timeline before the story has even gotten the chance to really start and kdj really wants to know how this story ends dammit!!, and as yjh gets to know kdj he ALSO becomes terrified of this bc he genuinely likes kdj and he starts to get so desperate and hopeful and feral about kdj because he JUST. KEEPS. SURVIVING. and yjh DOESNT GET IT because people DONT JUST SURVIVE LIKE THAT HERE and he starts WANTING him to live and starts NEEDING HIM to live because for the first time in HUNDREDS OF YEARS and HUNDREDS OF TIMELINES something is DIFFERENT and he starts feeling the need to not just survive but actually LIVE bc he CANT reset anymore because

because he cant be sure that if he resets kdj will still BE THERE. and he NEEDS kdj to be there now, even if they aren't fighting together physically side by side he starts to trust that kdj will be on his side and help him out and help everyone ELSE out and he won't lose the people he used to care about, who he still cares about, who he started to think he COULDNT care about because they never remembered him the way he remembered them.

kdj's very existence means yjh can't take the easy emotionless way out of difficult situations whenever anything small goes wrong and he has to start living moment by moment like every other human being again. kdj makes him HUMAN again and kdj doesnt get it at first bc to him yjh is still just a character, just a fiction he's read about and obsessed over and insulted and loved, and kdj starts to see the world as a story instead of real life in the exact opposite of yjh's path to seeing the world as a life again and kdj thinks about living as ‘seeing the story through to the end’ instead of ‘surving because i dont want to die’ and in a glacier's pace kdj has to start confronting that this is real and active and now and yjh is real and a human and maybe he DOESNT know everything about him and maybe he CAN have an honest relationship with him and maybe yjh CAN surprise him and change and change the narrative and be more than the man he was written as originally

and hsy plays an integral role in these realizations bc she helps bridge kdj's real life actions pre-plot with his 'fake' story role while ALSO playing into the 'this is a story' aspect of their reality bc she ALSO read some of the novelized version of yjh's life and she ALSO tends to see people as characters and their current life as a story they need to strategize through in order to survive

but she's not as deep into that mindset as kdj and feels guilty about her actions even when she tries not to and starts getting invested in kdj as both a person and a savior even though she hates him she also respects him and thinks he's annoying and a good strategist and that he has extremely bad taste and she used to cyberbully him bc she didn’t understand his devotion and she believes he's the best chance to reach a happy ending alive and that he couldn’t possibly care about her survival as long as yjh is still alive

bc she's very aware that she won't make it long in the novel by herself let alone work WITH yjh and help him and save him and learn to appreciate yjh as a person instead of as a character she didn't like in a story she hated which has now become her LIFE which she hates and loves and wants to survive in no matter the cost even though she feels guilty every time kdj asks her to help him do something that will hurt kdj/their allies because she KNOWS he only asks her to do things he believes are strategically sound, is hurt bc she knows he only asks her bc he thinks she’s coldhearted and ruthless enough, bc he thinks she doesn’t care about him, bc she thinks kdj is right to think all these things and she trusts him even as she feels like she's burning her own bridges down trying to follow his instructions, trying to keep yjh alive, trying to keep HERSELF alive, even as she makes decisions that she knows are despicable, even as she hates that she’s doing these things and hates that she feels guilty over trying to keep herself alive. she simultaneously thinks of herself as the baddest bitch she knows while also the worst human in existence and she can't understand why kdj and yjh keep her around but at the same time like hell would she ever leave them permanently while they're still offering her their time and their affections, however strong those may be.

even when she purposefully acts against kdj he just sits her down and talks to her bc he can see how much its messed her up, how even when she thought she knew what she was doing she couldn’t predict the results and couldnt predict how badly it’d mess her up and he gets it and she just hates it, she hates how distanced kdj can act despite how much she knows he cares and how much they all care about him

yjh and hsy bond over how stupid kdj is and how they cannot maintain their lives without him and while a part of hsy is constantly terrified that yjh will kill her for being annoying or suspicious or for following a dumbass plan she also learns to trust that yjh will wait and see how things fall through and trust that she was only doing what she thought was best/what KDJ thought was best, that yjh is a lot less likely to kill people he’d written off in previous timelines now that he’s met them, learns to know that yjh recognizes there’s something about her that is similar to kdj and that kdj likes and even if he can’t understand it and it sometimes makes him angry or jealous he still respects it and respects her

And yeah yjh is described as one of the prettiest most handsome people anyone has ever seen, both by kdj in the narrative as well as verbally by other characters, and yeah people say kdj is ugly but that’s only relative to the other extremely beautiful people he’s surrounded by. And yeah a few call hsy ugly but that’s only when a character is actually upset about something she’s done and is taking it out in insults. kdj himself calls her beautiful and thinks she’s one of the smartest most annoying people in his life. she almost gets him killed and he just thinks she’s a genius. yjh doesnt seem to care much at all about physical appearances and just becomes obsessed with how these two people he’s never seen survive so long keep pushing and living and help him and keep their group alive, the man’s got competency kink like no tomorrow and never realized it until now and he doesnt know what to do or how to live if they aren’t living too. They are all supremely flawed people who started at each other’s throats and misunderstand each other consistently and repeatedly but work past it anyway with a kind of reckless devotion one can only have after seeing people at their worst and realizing you love them anyway, and if that isnt endgame post-apocalypse polyam goals i just don’t know what to tell you

but there's smth i wanna say which obviously yall in the fandom know better than me, and its that ppl seem to think yoohankim is less popular BUT from my understanding, yookim (is that it?) won a poll w a 51%-49%, the same percentage as yoohankim did in the quarterfinals.

Analysing Carol during s10 ep21 "Diverged" (The Walking Dead)

Carol wanted to fix the torn scarf because she wanted someone to come and fix her after everything shes been through and how unappealing shes turned out, but when she threw it away it symbolised that she knew she could never be fixed and shes like that forever now. "I just want to fix something" meant she felt so helpless and out of control of all the relations in her life. Her and Daryl's luck ran out, the majority of the original group are gone, Ezekiel is dying and Maggie is mad at her for what she did. None of which she wanted and she can't fix any of that since its all already done, so she wanted to be able to feel in control, be able to fix something, anything, but she couldn’t.

The rat was herself basically. Something that could be so sinple to fix had destroyed her and everything around her. It was driving her insane because she couldnt even catch a damn rat. When it escaped the box after she was so close to capturing it could reference when Daryl had begged her to talk to him, gotten her so close to coming back from her revenge, only to fall out again and mess it all up again. When she opens up to Jerry, admits that she thinks shes broken and admits what happens, the rat leaves. The rat may be gone but shes still fixing the damages from it and she won't be able to live without knowing what happened. She destroyed those walls like how she destroyed herself and her relations. Now she needs to fix it, but no matter how much effort she puts in it will never be the same wall again. It will always be changed by what she did when she lost control of herself.

Keeping the garage closed while she tried to catch it shows she caged herself in and thought she needed to do it alone, but when she opened the door and herself to Jerry, it went away.

She doesn't want an apology from Daryl because she knows she doesn't deserve it. After everything she did, to others and to him, she never wants to be forgiven. She wants to carry it with her because thats what she thinks she deserves.

(Speculation, kinda reaching at straws for the next bit)

Dog going with Carol mightve shown that a piece of Daryl was with her, so no matter how angry he is at her, he doesn't want her to get hurt. Also, the two of them ending by going through different doors shows they're never going to be together again, or atleast not for a while. They're still connected but not the same way they used to be. Usually they would share items such as the knife, but Daryl telling her to keep it ends that part of them. They wont be together to share items like that again. Carol would've been there with him normally, so him being alone shows he's different without her, not as used to her being gone. But he moves on. He gets a new knife showing he's not dependent on her, and carol keeps the old one, showing she's still thinking of what used to be there.

Also the episode name kind of proves that theyre never going to be on the same path again.

These are just random thoughts I had while watching the episode, don't know if they really make any sense lol its just me blabbering about my favourite character :p

Just wanna say its 2023 and I still want it to be said that if Boruto and Sarada end up together we can literally never say shit about SNS again because they were right, unfortunately we gotta admit that it was true, that the only reason Naruto and Sasuke didnt end up together was because their both dudes, Im not a SNS shipper but the truth is the truth at that point.

And before anyone says ‘nuh uh, Boruto and Kawaki are supposed to represent Naruto and Sasuke so that doesnt count’

You are partially right in that, Boruto and Kawaki are definitely heavily marketed and referenced Naruto and Sasuke in many ways.

However lets not overlook that Boruto and Sarada shared that connection first and still does in many ways, I’ll give several examples.

Note: there are MANY official arts featuring them with their fathers that look more like family photos rather than shipping material [kinda weird to have their dads constantly watching them being lovey dovey if that was the case, looks more like two brothers hangin with their kids that reminds them of themselves than two fathers watching their children be inlove]

The context Im pointing out here is how Sasuke and Sarada point out Naruto and Boruto dont understand what its like to be in their shoes, just Sarada was less aggressive but her point still stood that unlike her Boruto KNEW who he was and where he was delivering to and if she was in his shoes she’d gladly make the effort to bring her father the food, but unlike him she doesnt know her dad nor have any clue where he is or has been all this time. So the situations are different but the context is the same, them calling the other out for their ignorance.

Worst part is all this is STILL not even half of what all exists but you get the point, Boruto and Sarada may have alot in common with NS more than SNS atp [for obvious reasons as Kawaki was introduced] but the fact remains they were HEAVILY SNS coded and still are to an extent, it was very clear from Kishimotos original writing he intended for Naruto and Sasuke to pass the torch to the new generation with Sarada filling Narutos role and Boruto Sasuke’s, ending 14 literally has Sasuke and Naruto watching them from the Hokage mountain, at the end of the Boruto movie which Kishi wrote had Sasuke looking on proudly at the kids professing their newfound dreams.

You’d think this would’ve been obvious when Sarada decided to follow Narutos path and Boruto decided to follow Sasuke’s it was very apparent that the two were meant to succeed their fathers and continue on the close Uzumaki/Uchiha friendship [Kushina/Mikoto, Hashirama/Madara, Obito/Kushina, Naruto/Sasuke] it was NOT implied to be romantic, they were entirely marketed as the new Naruto and Sasuke, a blush or two doesnt = romance when Naruto and Sasuke have blushed for eachother as well, which leads me to the point of this post.

If BoruSara is canon theres really nothing else to say about SNS because they’d be right, even if that isnt the intent or message they are tryin to send the fact remains thats exactly what they’ll convey, that Naruto and Sasuke 100% would’ve been endgame if not for both being males, because the fact that they have been so heavily foreshadowed as taking over their fathers role, sharing a similar bond and many similar moments, theres no way to deny that the only reason these two are pushed together romantically is because their boy and girl, you could probably argue at that point that Naruto and Sasuke actually were as well if thats the case with Boruto and Sarada.

At the moment their relationship has been completely platonic, they are close friends, teammates, and rivals just like their fathers were, and nothing about their relationship is explicitly romantic just like it wasnt for their fathers as well.

However, if they DO turn Boruto and Sarada’s relationship into a romantic one and confirm all those scenes, interactions etc were indeed part of their romantic development, you cannot argue the same couldnt have been true for Naruto and Sasuke anymore, not even the fact that they see eachother as brothers is a factor anymore since Sarada said the same and still ends up with him, theres no argument anymore.

Listen everything I’ve mentioned is exactly why I dont think BoruSara will be endgame, but Im realistic enough to not say it isnt a possibility at all, so if the worse case scenario happens and they are indeed canon we gotta concede that SNS fans were right, the only thing that held SNS back was bein men, sad but true.

It still baffles me how some SS fans even ship BoruSara considering it literally mirrors the two main ships they were against, NaruSaku and SNS, and yet now their shipping the split image of those ships...truly makes you wonder...but thats another topic for another day.

Point is I dread the day this is actually confirmed because if Kishi and co thought the outrage was bad before its gonna be 10x worse if they pull that cuz it’ll prove everyones suspicions right that there was homophobia behind the scenes, alot of ppl claim to tolerate BoruSara since its the closest they’ll get to SNS but deep down if it was actually confirmed they’ll be outraged because lets be real, although some of them may settle for it in theory doesnt mean their actually ok with the ‘homophobia’ being confirmed, they may even come to resent the ship for ‘stealing’ what SNS had and should’ve been.

The NS shippers who see this as compensation for Kishis ‘betrayal’ will be fine in this case since theres no negative cannotations for them if their canon, it’ll just prove to them that NS should’ve been canon but Kishi ‘sold out’ but is now atoning for his sins and ‘fixing’ his mistakes.

Not even makin that up thats literally what they think BoruSara is, Kishi ‘fixing’ his mistakes despite him never once saying he regretted his endgame ships, only the fandom views it as a ‘mistake’ while Kishimoto proudly speaks on every ship with no remorse, he didnt even realize he had caused such controversy, man lied to his own wife just to appease her, thats not something you’d do if you felt you made the wrong decision, instead he would’ve apologized but nah, he just flat out said NS was never a serious consideration for him, he already had his endgame decided and he stuck to it.

So to say Kishimoto is ‘fixing’ his mistakes by making BoruSara canon would mean he’d have to regret his endgame pairings which he doesnt, hes made that abundantly clear in numerous interviews that he was proud of his decision and deliberately ignored everyone who pushed for NS even his own wife, so why ppl think Kishimoto is trying to ‘fix’ a mistake he doesnt even view as a mistake is baffling to me.

Anyway I’ve said my piece, I’ll come back to this subject if the worst case scenario happens but hopefully that doesnt happen and they stick to what they’ve set up, a platonic close bond between friends, teammates, family, and rivals.

2. What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them?

i think people often assume that her actions are in general being made with much more malicious intent than they are. its easy to think of her killing the traveler as a tactical move specifically to target the guardians+vanguard, a deliberate undermining of their power, but its not. its a response to a personal betrayl!!! wolf is twisting this entire universe up on itself and changing the way the very mechanics of it function because she was hurt badly and now shes not letting anyone else get out. yikes!!!!

7. What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

originally wolf au was called disciple au, and wolf was mechanically much more similar to one of the witness' disciples (you can still see this in aspects of her design i think!! the au started bc i thought 'hey its neat that disciples have similar aspects in their designs, what would my own oc look like within that design framework') but when i tried to answer the question of why wolf would follow the witness i couldnt come up with anything compelling. so instead she kills that clown and is doing her own thing. fuck being a disciple

24. What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

so. in my head i have i think 5? possible endings for where june's story ends up, dependent partially on how tfs ends up going and how i feel about it, of which wolf is only one of those 5. the one MOST opposed to wolf is where june, after the conflict in the sol system is 'done' (ie. as soon as her responsibility to it is somehow removed) is able to get her hands on a ship with transolar warp and just books it out of there and ends up spending the rest of her time just exploring and experiencing as much of the galaxy as possible. no real goal in mind. just seeing whats out there!!

in the beginning, there was gav thorpe. and gav thorpe said let there be eldar of many kinds in space. his work was good

though his vision for aledari-kind may have changed over time, the path of series remains the seminal work for any would be eldar-fan.

we start with PATH OF THE SEER

the book starts with a dedication that suggests that the book should be read backwards, as to experience the tale as a farseer does. i thought it would be really fun to absolutely not do that.

the flavor quote introduces us to the path system: craftworld eldar, to avoid an adhd / manic / ocd spiral, seek to focus their efforts into spending some time mastering ONE skill. the risk? becoming obsessed and lost in that skill forever

our protag is Thirianna, who we'll learn is a bit of a washed out loser who's not really satisfied with anything she's accomplished - she hasn't found her calling (omg millenial queen!!!). at the start we are told she is a warrior of the dire avenger variety

we open with a nice beach-side mansion (human). the aliatoc force is determined to level everything in sight through a judicious application of overkill. it is thirianna who finds a mother with her three children, and what she does is...

skip forward to thirianna being extra washed up. it seems this is an in between time for her, bc she has the vibe of someone whos recently been fired from their job and is also in the throws of a hangover. she has been having unpleasant dreams, and her subconscious mind has been coping through some self harming habits. it troubles her as she wakes up.

the scent of blood makes her reach for a ritual blood mark on her forehead, but it is no longer there, as she is not a warrior anymore (btw this proves that aspect warriors do not always wear their helmets - so yes, the bare heads in kits are lore accurate) (fun fact: one of nenime's earliest interactions referenced this)

thirianna figures shes freaked out over nothing. she decides to 'probe her psyche... fold back the curtains of her thought for a glimpse'. she screams, seeing her victims

the tower of torments, vaul's gaol rune: an abrupt departure

thirianna decides to dedicate herself to poetry. these consist of three runes entertwined into a concept: these are drawn into a crystal with a stylus. curves and links can create complex meaning, called poem-form, but this is pretty advanced. her early stuff, which she keeps in a private shelf, is raw concepts of pain.

thirianna is actually running late for an art exhibit. she is described as stepping into a robing area and choosing an ankle-length sleeveless dress, pleated below the knee, embroidered with thread that it is a slightly different shade. she also picks a diaphanous scarf

thirianna herself is described as having painted her arms with henna (henna? really we couldnt come up with a word?) but when she 'summons up a mirror-plate', she decides she's not quite ready

she opens a drawer and pulls out a 'pigment comb', the teeth shift color with a thought, and thirianna decides that her hair should look silver today, with two locks of blue to frame her face

finally, she gives her eyes a swift touch with an 'iris petal' turning them from green to dark blue

still she thinks it was all a little hasty. anyway, she leaves her apartment (sigh), she had hoped to have a nice walk but decides to hail a cab, or a 'star runner'

above the craftworld, she sees some arriving ships, one of which carries her friend, and hopes to capture her excitement in her next poem

next, shell meet her friends and (tired trope so tired it might just be refreshing nowadays) romantic rivals, two hunky boys...

Just gonna throw this out there cuz its been a while and antis have gotten a lil too overconfident so Im just gonna give a little reality check and some hope to the fandom since its our month right now and so Im here to spread some positivity for our month, since I know antis would love to try and ruin it for us, I aint gon let em.

As much as antis will try to convince you guys that KawaSara is dead yatta yatta yatta dont buy it, its all gaslighting, their using the unknown to try and pretend its something definitive when there isnt

They try to tell you they hate eachother yet wheres any panel that shows this? when have either of them said they hate eachother? you wont find anything because it doesnt exist, they base it solely on the fact that they got mad over a disagreement [which Boruto did too but nobody said they hated eachother] and that he 'tried to kill her' [which he didnt it was a sparring match and he flat out says he wasnt tryin to kill anybody] and then their conflict in 78, which still doesnt count as Kawaki trying to kill her, he tried to SPARE her cuz his only target was Boruto, he told her not to intervene and she did anyway, and even after saying he was only giving her one chance he STILL gave her another chance to live instead of killing her and Boruto both, which he didnt have to do if he genuinely wanted to kill em both.

They try to use the timeskip chapters thus far as proof they hate eachother but notice how the timeskip conveniently hasnt let them interact at all let alone really even mention eachother? so how are antis convinced theres this deep hatred and hostility between them when they havent even interacted or said how they feel about eachother at this point in time?

And lastly they try to use their lack of interaction as a gotcha as well, but literally SS had the same exact issue, in case ppl forgot Sakura was away and didnt interact with Sasuke for 3 yrs straight, Sasuke was their enemy at the time and he had chosen to walk the dark path, and after their first reunion their interactions since then were few and far between and yet their an endgame ship, so why is it different for KawaSara? and the difference is Kawaki and Sarada actually have an even bigger advantage than SS did because they've been together in the same village for those entire 3 years, they very well could've had plenty of interactions off screen we're unaware of for all we know.

But antis will try to convince you that all of this is a bad thing, that this is all a ship ender, that theres no chance at all and its too far gone etc etc but like I said this is all gaslighting bs.

KawaSara isnt dead, far from it, and the reasons antis use for why the ship is sunk are all bs, they simply use the unknown [the assumption of no interaction, the assumption of them hating eachother, the assumption that Sarada doesnt/wont forgive Kawaki etc] but if you take a moment to really think about their points [or lack thereof] you'll see its them forging a narrative out of their own theories rather than whats actually canonly stated.

You could easily take Sasuke stabbing Naruto in the heart and nearly choking him to death as him hating Naruto and genuinely wanting him dead, but obviously that isnt the truth and we all know it, but could you make that argument? yea if you just look at everything at face value you can argue everytime Sasuke tried to kill Naruto it was out of hate and genuine want for him to be dead cuz he couldnt stand him, but again we all know thats false.

Its the same for KawaSara, you can easily argue at face value that they hate eachother based on surface level reading like 'he tried to kill her, they argued with eachother, they got into a fight, that means they hate eachother' but anybody with critical thinking skills and being objective can tell that no, thats not the case, theres way more nuance than that.

So anyway to cap this off, dont let the antis get to you and dont fall for their bs, their gaslighting you with the unknown because their scared of what their ACTUAL thoughts and feelings about eachother actually are and WHAT kind of interactions they possibly had over this time and what interactions they WILL have in the future, so heed my words when I tell you this...

Their not confident in the unknown they try to gaslight you with, their actually terrified of it, because literally anything could happen right now and they know it and it scares the hell out of them because just as Ikemoto could reveal that yea they despise eachother now, he could also reveal their actually cordial but Sarada obviously doesnt agree with his methods and is working against him regardless, no different than Naruto and Sakura disagreeing with Sasuke and working against him.

Im not claiming to know exactly where the story is headed [unlike some ppl] but I can make educated guesses based on experience and knowledge of many tropes and how their used etc but thats a topic for another post.

In conclusion, dont let them fool you by pretending that they have the upper hand here, they dont and they know it, until we get any real info/insight on whats happened between Kawaki and Sarada over this timeskip its anybodys game at this point so dont lose hope and dont listen to the haters.

Trust me when I say its not over yet, I cant convince you to believe me, but I hope you can atleast trust my judgement because I havent been wrong yet, and if you think I have well just look at this old bingo card I made way back about what would be changed/removed in the anime and how much of it I actually got right vs what I didnt

This was early in the Kawaki arc btw that I wrote these, completey forgot about I had made it, came across it again months later and realized just how much I got right.

So if yall think you cant trust my prediction skills, heres one more bit of evidence of my accuracy

This was after the Boruto death chapter and everyone was theorizing how everyones gonna react to his 'death' etc and I saw from a mile away none of that was gonna happen and it was all gonna be resolved and sped past in a single chapter tops and rushed right into the next plotline and guess what? I called all of that, only thing I didnt get exactly right was the Kawaki and Hina and Hima thing since they didnt even show him interacting with them after that so...didnt exactly get it wrong, it just wasnt shown so we dont know what happened between them fr fr.

I have more moments of me calling the future but this gets the point across enough, I cant force you to trust me nor am I trying to, just saying if you were unsure if you could just take my word for it like those 'trust me bro' sources, I wanted to assure you that Im not and that I really DO be knowing what Im talking about.

Anyway, its up to you from here, trust me or dont trust me if you want, but just know antis are only talkin shit like they are now because their scared now more than ever but hey dont take my word for it, lets see how this goes.

Note: How does any of this relate to Ksu and Kda? because antis insisted Sumire was gonna fake liking Kawaki because of omnipotence to hide from Ada that shes unaffected only for her not to hide it at all, and antis tried to argue that Kawaki and Ada will work together now and he'll get closer to her over time only for them not to be working together in the slightest and for them to be just as distant as they were before. So yea all the negative things they try to gaslight you with for KawaSara, their doing so as a smoke screen so you dont see how their bs is actually slippin through the cracks.

her and adachi are pretty similar actually. but in a way, adachi encompasses everyone, its just that he went down a much darker path because he didnt get help. he didnt try and he didnt want it so he couldnt get it

but this isnt about adachi this is about sayoko. she really wants to help people as a nurse and she forms this deep connection with her patients only for them to leave once shes fulfilled her purpose. and that can work for other relationships too, like having many one night stands with many different people, and sayokos probably done that a lot before if i know anything about her

and i actually did write a oneshot about adachi (im obsessed w him i cant stop mentioning him everywhere) where he slept with dojima and instantly started panicking because he was worried that he would be left behind after that because he thought all dojima wanted from him was his body. but adachi actually loved him deep down. it was a self projection fic btw im not ok

so this sort of hypersexualization to overcompensate for not wanting to be sexual at all, and instead wanting to be more personal and intimate and genuinely connected, its just soooooooooooooooo AAAAAAAAAAA

and sayoko...... she always felt betrayed by everyone..... because shes always left behind........ but every single person, at some point in their life, for one reason or another, has to abandon someone. we all have our reasons, and that doesnt mean we cant feel hurt if we get ditched, but dont think youre above things like that, because we all have to.

i had to abandon many old friends because they turned out to be pretty sucky

i had to abandon a friend who was actually really really nice because he simply couldnt stay.

its really not wrong to give up sometimes, but whats important is that we dont let this one thing drag us down forever. sayoko upon realizing this starts working harder than ever, and while she does screw up a little bit and overwork herself once, it just takes her a bit to get back on her feet. but she doesnt give up anymore. shes not letting this stuff drag her down. shes not dwelling on the past, shes looking forward to the future

shes not thinking of how it was bad before. shes thinking of how it'll be better.

and that message is SO important to me its literally the main theme of my yansim rewrite

Forgotten memories part 3/4

Hongjoong pov

The decision to go to the reunion wasnt an easy one. I thought again and again about it and my parents werent happy at all. Mom tried to stop me for whatever reason, but deep in my heart i felt like i had to go no matter what. Now that i'm here and now that i've seen my friends i have no regrets in coming here.

It 8am when Seonghwa knocked on my door. I was barely awake but he was good and ready to go. He was always a morning bird, the responsible one.

Now we are walking to Jieuns cafe. A million thoughts run throught my head, how is she now? Is she the same? Did she miss us? Did she miss me..........

Hwa; " Isn't it weird, walking this path after so many years " he asks while looking around. It was weird, our childhood was filled with this town until we left and now that we are back the feeling is unfamiliar but familiar in a way.

" Yea it is weird but it also brings back some memories" I reply

Hwa; " You remember getting beat up in that alley by those boys from our next class " he points towards an alley with a smile. I laugh at the sudden rush of memories.

" You mean the time when Jieun had to save us from them. I still remember her running towards us holding her hockey stick and just swinging it around with her eyes closed " I chuckle while speaking.

Hwa:" And she almost hit us with that stick too" he replies with a wide smile. " Do you ever wish that you hadn't left?" He turns to look at me.

I didnt know how to answer that question, did i regret leaving?. If i hadn't left how different would my life have been, but at the same time i cant seem to regret because of how much i've achieved.

" At one point i did but then i never really though about it" i reply, not looking at him.

He was silent for the rest of the journey. As the cafe came in site i couldnt help but get nervous, my heart started beating fast and it felt like i was taken back in time.

Seonghwa's POV

He was different now, much different but i cant help but identify some similarities of his old self. He still dont make eye contact with me and he still holds much in his heart but speaks less. But hearing him say that he doesn't regret leaving made me think, maybe he is different now.

The cafe looks the same as it did in the past. It looks so alike that i felt like time reversed. The memories that this place has holds endless meaning but instead of looking forward to recall those memories i see myself searching for something else.

Before we could enter the cafe Jieun comes out and walks towards us with a bright smile, i felt like time froze. Seeing her now made me realize how much i missed her. Hongjoong rushed forward and hugged her tightly but i couldnt move, it felt like my feet were stuck in the ground.

I just stared at her without a word unable to process whats happening until she pulls me into a hug. I found myself tearing up while inhailing her scent, its the same her smile, hair, scent its all the same. For a minute i hoped that time would actually stop but i know its a hopeless dream to want this moment to last forever and to want her.......

Jieun; " You both have no idea how much i missed you two, look at you both gosh i'm so proud of you" she breaks the hugs and looks at us with a teary smile.

Hongjoong; "You haven't changed at all, still a cry baby" he says with a small laugh

Jieun; "Oh shut up its been years since i've seen you both let me be emotional" she wipes her tears as she speaks.

" And the behaviour is the same too, it truly feels like nothing has changed" i pat her head with a smile.

Hongjoong; "So what are we doing today?"

" How about we visit our hideout?" i suggest

Jieun; " Great idea! I looked after it after you both left, dont worry i didnt change anything its still the same" she says as she leads the way.

Our hideout was situated at the top of our school, a small room we decorated and used as our safe place. It is filled with sad and good memories of ours.

Hongjoong's POV

She looked so beautiful, so unreal that it feels like a dream to see her but when i hugged her i realised that this is not a dream. She is really here in front of me, the familiarity fills my heart with warmth. This is not like the countless dreams i had of her, she's really here.

At the mention of the hideout i cant help but feel anxious, the last memory i had of that place wasnt pleasant. Looking at Seonghwa it feels like he's forgotten everything that happened that day ofc he has, he had nothing to lose, not then and not now.

Thinking about it, this is a journey to uncover forgotten memories even the cruelest of them all. Maybe recovering them will lead to some mystery and maybe just maybe this time i may win.

So, this whole chapter just about introduction of Taiju Shiba as 6th Captain Division of 2nd Gen of Toman. ( take a guess of who potentially become vice captain of 6th Division of 2nd Gens Toman)

The saddest thing about this, Mitsuya had been predicted their half-lose againt Kantou Manji Gang, there's Invincible Mikey, doesnt matter how many people against him in fight, ge always win. But it totally in different meaning when Mitsuya says it.

Whole thing about fighting former friend, not to mention, fighting former friend in your together built up gang, never been easy. Mitsuya might says, Mikey as his "former friend" because honestly , that's the reason why Mitsuya in the first place accepted Takemichi's favour, but there's no further explaination why he wanted to fight Mikey, his former friend, at this point, i just wamted to assume that he couldnt afford losing other friend after what happened to Draken.

He knew, he couldnt fight Mikey, not only physically but emotionally too, it was the saddest thing happened to any of us, fighting your own friend. He cant fight his own friend, not how Draken involved in death beacuse he pursued the same path to revive Mikey. I could says, that's probably why Mitsuya helped Takemichi, he wanted Draken's wish of Mikey comes true, save him.

Helped ? They all looks so good here. AND Hanma looks so edible, i could "munch" his cheek. Did Hanma laughed at Sanzu or he just more exciting how certain people make a suprise comeback ? Poor Sanzu, btw. I love him, please no bad thing happened. Oh wait, Wakui might forgotten something. I thought Mikey have a fight with Angry but he did have some time to react Taiju's suprose appearance ? So, who did win between those two ? There were no fight scenes, yet or absolutely Mikey win? Hanma will fight against Kokonui after this ?

Im nost sure what these legends saw in Mikey. Yeah, sure they have to be loyal towards their leader no matter what but why it has to be Mikey. I wiuld says that, they love Mikey, just like how they love Shinichiro. Or they just wanted to protected Mikey as they cant protected Shinichiro, but i dont think Taiju have an intention to face Mikey, he just opened ya path for Takemichi. We will soon get Mikey vs Takemichi and that would be the most heartbreaking scenes, if Mikey violently punched Takemichi. Before these, Mikey always helped Takemichi in every fight with his beaten up body, and the only thing that can prevented him from death was Mikey appearance to save his days.

Im like Taiju, to witness how Takemichi gonna take Mikey down, whether it would be physically or emtionally, i means, in physically of course Takemichi will lose but at the certain point, we still doesnt know Takemichi's real strength is, how he can resist those crucial punched, i dont think Takemichi "weak" physically, i think how his traumatic past of being bullied constantly got him drifted away.

But we'll see, the fight between them.

To the death ? Someone about to die ? Taiju is violent person but not sure how violent thses legends were. Or the prediction of Waka would come true ? Hopefully, nope. The next chapter, gonna focus more on Black Dragon.

Isnt it mind blowing,how ex-Black Dragon members have a moment in this fight, final arc and the reason of Toman exist in the first place was Black Dragon.
