The problem with this method is that anyone with superhearing can tune in on their conversation and add their own input if they wanted.

Which Danny does often.

Superman is trying so hard to find this guy who keeps butting into his conversations but Danny can just turn off his heartbeat and stay quiet so Superman doesn’t have anything to listen to to find his location.

Meanwhile Danny can keep track of where Superman is and how close he is to Danny because Superman can’t stop his heart from beating or from breathing.

Superman has been able to locate the mystery voice to somewhere in rural Illinois but without his heartbeat he can't quite pinpoint him.

there's many places to start, it depends on what you are most interested in learning.

For example if you want to learn more about stars, you start with the components, what makes a star so bright? (The conversion/nuclear fusion of hydrogen molecules "transforming" to helium, in this process power such as light and heat are also made)

Or galaxies, what keeps them together?

Or planets, how are gas giants made?

It depends on where you start, and eventually you dabble in multiple.

So I put the power of friendship and impractical outfits into Metroid Dread. No suits, no shields: we die in a giant laser hand cannon fight like true warriors.

#raven beak #chozo #a lot of effort for a bit #i thought back to that one piece i did a few years ago where i put raven beak in bikini armor and i said #'wouldn't it be funny to see him actually fight in something like that?' #because as we all know exposed flesh in combat is very humorous when large guns that shoot beams are involved #and then my train of thought fell to 'wouldn't it be funny if Samus was covered more than Raven Beak is' #'to subvert the sexy outfits thing a little bit but also drive home the 'god-emperor of Chozo Victoria's Secret' look he has going for him' #So the original sketch was created July 21 2023. And I redid it on April 10 2024. #and built Raven Beak bulky like a pro wrestler to really drive home the drama/hamminess of the situation but also to make him look stronger #my outfit design continues to be lacking but my commitment to the bit remains unmatched #... it's also so much easier to draw silly bikini armor that makes no sense than it is to put characters in regular clothes. or armor. #if you want a 'lore justification' for the lack of armor let's just say Raven Beak doesn't need the suit to be powerful. #and Samus is about to demonstrate that he has sorely underestimated her. by a mile. or a kilometer. #anyways the differences in their outfits match their upbringing and general philosophy #Samus opts for the more practical leotard offering her mobility and lightweight motion #Raven Beak guns for the full regalia that shows off as much muscle as possible while not skipping out on symbols of rank #and he NEVER leaves home without a cape #the cape is a must if shoulder-mounted black hole generators aren't available.

ACD really gave us Mycroft Holmes, called him one of the smartest person in the world, told us that he could outmatch Sherlock, who we previously thought was the smartest person, but then also decided that he was the laziest character in probably all literary canon who had the potential for solving thousands of cases but couldn’t be bothered so he’d sit in his chair all day and make deductions on passerbys. 

And then Mycroft keeps popping up in random places and seems to have already solved the case but’s just making Sherlock resolve it to prove him right. 

Like where does this come from ACD? Why does it sound like you made all your characters and plotlines whilst being high?

Mycroft must know everything. What is he hiding? What do you know Mycroft? Why are you like this? He is so suspicious but at the same time he doesn’t do much apart from sass Sherlock and be unbearably relatable. 

It’s difficult to believe that he was as lazy as Sherlock made him out to be, but it’s hilarious to think that the person who probably holds all the secrets and solutions to every problem is too busy reading newspapers to do anything.
