Interestingly, Artemis' decision to start wearing suits (and to dress more formally sensu lato) more or less follows the (presumed) death of his father and the mental break of his mother; what we see as Artemis' present-day, default sartorial styling is almost a kind of mourning attire. And, of course, I'm compelled by the many reasons (verging from banal to saddening) as to why Artemis never really stops dressing like this.

Imagine Jack asking if Dean would play dress-up with him in an attempt to connect with Dean in some kind of way, since Dean *clearly* loves dressing up so much.
And Dean would scoff and act all offended that something as serious as their under-cover gear is being referred to as silly dress-up clothes.
But then Dean begrudgingly agrees and (being a true LARPer at heart) gets really into it and they start playing playing a game of Cowboys and Outlaws.
Cas would just be confused at how he was talked into being tied up for the entire afternoon, sitting on top of a chalk outlined railroad track waiting to be rescued, while Jack and Dean have pretend shoots out in the hallways with plastic plastic guns, it all eventually leading to a quickdraw duel on top of the library tables.
Dean of course playing the dastardly, gunslinging outlaw who’s wanted Dead or Alive to Jack’s shiny new Sheriff who just wants to protect the good and honest folk of Bunkerville, Kansas. (Population: 4. 5 if you count Miracle.)

In light of me being obsessed with House saying he started to see Benny as a son, House is a hypocrite in calling Yes-man a vanity project cause while Vegas is clearly his vanity project with all his plans for it, there’s something more subtly vain about trying to rewrite and recreate an hypothetical heir in his image that he clearly would’ve done with Benny as he does it with you.

Mario and Luigi having parents (and a other family members) is exactly how I feel about the human characters in the Sonic Movies.
They are NOT unlikeable, but ultimately we will likely never see them again - or they will get pointless scenes/cameos - after the first movie, so they are hard to get attached to or care about.

In my mcd season 3 rewrite I have a scene planned out where the gang gets caught and imprisoned like they always do and they have to fight their way to freedom in like a gladiatorial combat sort of thing. In the end katelyn unknowingly kills her brother because it's been so long and she doesn't recognize him. Kacey at the end thought his mother killed him because Katelyn looks so much like Elizabeth. Katelyn doesn't know she killed Kasey until weeks later

Case fic AU of Duke's training year centered around his identity as Signal (big hero, works for/with Batman, above everyone else) vs. Lark (friendly neighborhood hero, fights for the little guy, does things his own way) told as he & the WAR crew investigate a strange new drug that gives people meta abilities, with several B-plots of the other Robins becoming heroes in their own right. Is that anything.
