I'm trying so hard to stay positive.

My car was stolen...but found. This is the second time in 6 months someone smashed the window to take my car. It's like 2 door, I can't even afford back doors but you think this the vehicle. OKAY.

This solidified our move to New Jersey. I'm just a jersey girl stuck in a kenzo body FREE ME.

21 Days Of Productivity - 1 week!

Hi, apologies the posting has been hit and miss, but here is a whole week in one!

Day 5

Sent all emails I needed to!

Got aost everything done at work I needed!

15 mins of French

Plenty of reading

Bullet journalling

Day 6

Lots of reading today

No choir as my voice still def wasn't working properly

Plenty done at work

Also converted some of my power points into a better format

Day 7

45 minutes of French done

Went out with my family furniture shopping! Less tired now too!

Reading

Unfortunately not much else, but I was v busy with my sisters which was nice :)

Day 8

Much more tired today :/

Helped teach my younger sister how to make porridge

Served at the church

Said goodbye to the person who trained me in the first place 😭

Went to an evensong with a friend which was absolutely brilliant!

Day 9

1 chapter of confirmation study

Plenty of stuff done at work :)

Reading

Did some finance research

Day 10

Had a lovely walk!

Went to a discussion group at the Abbey in the morning

Had a hair cut too!

Also went with my brother to his orthodontist appointment

Less tired, and had a brilliant day off!

Day 11

Lots done at work

Had dinner with my grandparents

Unfortunately felt very very ill so fell asleep at 7:30pm when I got home and then slept for a solid 13 hours 😭😭 it was lovely but def shoudlnt let it get this far 😭

Day 12

Did all my chores

Wonderful day at work!

Attended a work Q&A in the evening

Reading

Day 13

Got almost everything done that I wanted to at work!

Went to choir too!

Still tired, but much less than before!

Thank you for getting this far and bearing with me! I'm feeling mostly better, still a cough and a little tired but we are getting there! Here's to more regular posts from now on!

i meant to read more of war and peace than the 100 pages i Did read :(( also i was gonna read de rerum natura but like. epicureanism man :/

i read surge by jay bernard that got shortlisted for Various Things and it SLAPPED! also i bought the book at a reading they did (w mary jean chan!) and they Sang one of the poems? and i lowkey ascended

It's the weekend- often I'd relax and take the day off, especially considering how hard I've worked this week. It was a long morning though, so I learned a new rigging tool in Maya- the squash and stretch deformer.

21 Days Of Productivity Restart!

Hi, it's me again! I got quite ill on Day 2 of the challenge, and since it was so close to the start I decided to simply start again whilst I get better and do more!

Day 1

This was Monday, so back to work!

All work emails sent and sorted

Visited grandparents after work

Managed some confirmation study

Caught up on a decent chunk of reading

Finalised some extra emails for other things :)

Day 2

Did plenty of reading

Bullet journalled

Had a nice long walk

Confirmation study (2 hours)

Bought a French press!

Went to evening prayer for first time in a while :)

Attended a workshop from work on 'Mastering Money'

Exam Diary Day 7 - 14.06.22

No exams today which was nice, but still plenty of revision had to be done lol, but the warmer whether is definitely a nice change!

Today I:

Practised piano

Revised lines 156-187 of book 11 of the aeneid

Revised chapters 45-52 of the histories

Arranged some things for my gap year :)

Hopefully everyone else is enjoying the sunny weather if you have it and exams and end of year things are going OK :)

Hello friends! Today's been up and down but overall much better, I got an email to confirm I can read as part of the Herodotus marathon on 1st June too!

Today I:

Memorised the new section of my French IRP presentation

Did more research for my IRP

Learned some verse vocab for Latin

Read more of Medea in English and made notes on characterisation

21 Days Of Productivity - Days 3+4

Hello! Apologies some of these end up a little late, turns out being ill and busy at the same time aren't the best combo 😂 but I have a weekend ready to get my sleep back on track! It was also results day yesterday for the students I tutor, so that was an event!

Day 3 - Wednesday

Spent 40 mins doing research on building a good credit score and also getting started on doing that :)

Read a lot more of the Oresteia and also Rome is burning

Achieved almost everything I needed to at work

Went to the French conversation group for 2 hours to practise my French and it was great!

Day 4 - Thursday

Lots of reading

Bullet journalled

Work was chaotic but most things done

20 mins working on my budget spreadsheet for the year

Not quite so much done yesterday, I started feeling very tired so slept a bit earlier and had more of a self-care evening which was much needed!

Exam Diary Day 6 - 13.06.22

Hi! I had two exams today so not my favourite, but I thi k they both went OK and it's the only time I have two in one day thankfully! French reading, writing and listening went pretty well aside from the technical issues with headphones, but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be so that was good and the translations were pretty good! Latin prose lit was also good, 20 mark question was a little open ended for me but it was good to have the freedom with it. Also don't think I ever appreciated how many death threats cicero can fit into one chapter....

Today I:

Revised all the cicero chapters

Read through some medea

Mostly just sat exams and had to rest after lol because my meds are still wrong and I get tired quick rip

I did have some very tasty rice for breakfast though which was good, overall a pretty solid day even if it was v tiring lol. I hope everyone else is doing OK and exams are going well and you're giving yourself rest!

Exam Diary Day 5 - 11.06.22

Obvs the weekend lol today so def much appreciated to have no exams and plenty of revision time lol. I also made the best sandwich I've ever made so far with ham my stepmum cooked and some tomatoes too!

Revised Cicero chapters 110 and 115

Revised Aeneid book 11 lines 132-151

Made more flashcards for Herodotus book 7 chapters 49-51

Overall a pretty good day even if it was more mentally tiring than I'd expected lol. I hope everyone else is doing well and having a good weekend!
