I generated Kell and Lila as Funkos and the outcomes aren't so bad! I wish they were real but they are just AI creations. The first Kell came out with a mustache, and you should all see him because it's fun lmao the other Lilas are also cute and I asked her to have a knife, no idea why it generated a sword but anyways

Something a little unsettling I just noticed about these bots. I think they use AI to generate their images. Gonna show an example here, it's not explicit but it's just very weird.

The proportions are off on the arms and heads, making it hard to tell if these are kids or adults, and the ground look like a very vague render of a parking lot. I do feel I had seen an image like this before, but I'm not sure. This bot followed my main account and I just blocked and reported it as spam.

Think scrolling a blog trying to figure out if it's AI might count as doomscrolling

Popping some evidence under the cut. I highly suspect that cultlifecollective-blog uses AI, please block them (especially on any art blogs. You will have to manually block them there, as Tumblr will only block them on your main unless you type it in)

First suspicious thing was the tagspam. Context: I was seeing them a bit frequently with Batman "art" in the Batman tag. There were also a lot of tags that were irrelevant to Batman that were like the art style ("rap" and "hip hop" are the main tags I remember.) I do know a lot of artists do tag anything relevant to try and get out there, but this seems a bit excessive.

Another suspicious thing is the frequency of posting. I haven't recorded exact numbers, but I found at least 5 images all posted 8 hours ago. I noticed this after I had been scrolling for quite a while and realised it was only at 4 days ago. Artists will sometimes wait to post things, and make multiple posts in the same hour, but consistently posting this frequently is setting off alarm bells - art takes time, especially these art styles (if it was a real human making it, it would be very impressive)

But now, the art itself. The art style is a bit abstract which helps hide AI jankiness, but I found some that leapt out to me. It's often said that AI is bad at hands, and there are some hands that seem a bit too egregious. I'm going to put some images here, and in the alt text point out the things that seem off to me when I zoom in.

I understand that artists can struggle with hands, but with a style like this, with the aesthetic of being highly-skilled, they should be better.

Im against ai, all ai. Ai art and writing, ai designed to do "menial tasks" or "lesser jobs". It causes me meltdowns and anxiety attacks, and litterally represents everything that I am scared of and hate, but no of course im just a precious snowflake who "doesnt know how the real world works"

Maybe im not the snowflake maybe you are for caring so much about what makes other people start hyperventilating and crying uncontrollably, harmfully stim and spiral and dissacociate for the next few days.

(This has not happened recently, but I just saw a post about someone requesting someone put this for ai stuff and someone else (not the blog it was aimed at) getting all upset but they don't understand and im sure whoever asked that would agree with me)
