He was a man who simply walked the earth,
no plans, no fears, no possessions to lose that
could not be replaced in a second-hand store
his hair uncombed, his face unwashed, eyes
wide with curiosity and blue with the same
wonder that he had carried in wayward youth
down main street from one end of town to
the other, every morning, every evening,
like a pilgrim to a temple return to and fro
absorbing the glances of passersby like air,
deflecting the expectations of society with
the flatness of stone and a flick of a cigarette
his plotline has no conclusion, as it had no
climax, so if you are seeking closure, go find
him on the pike and ask him if he needs a ride.

I do understand that "intelligence tests" are inaccurate and stupid. That being said, does anyone want to see the IQ test question so terrible that I felt I had to stand up and leave the room?
#i'm not taking the test but i am doing research into the kinds of questions these use#this one was on the mensa qualifier (which seems to have been written when dinosaurs walked the earth)
