You ever take a look at something and you think “hey wow, this is objectively good!!” But its just…you need it to stop? Like you can take a look at it and acknowledge that it’s good in many respects. There’s stuff to be appreciated in it and you can understand why you loved it so much, but it’s definitely left a sort of bad taste in the mouth as of late, even if you still acknowledge what made it great. Maybe because it’s spread itself too far and has sort of gotten into places it doesn’t belong. Maybe because what you loved about it is something that is really only best appreciated in smaller amounts. Either way, it’s a disdain that is fun to poke fun at, but bittersweet all the same.
