for the ask meme, i’m kinda curious to learn more about johnny and casey’s dynamic. they hooked up right? how do you think an actual relationship between them would’ve gone?

Also a fun one and um... I've had the worst sleep last night so I apologise if this is horribly incoherent.

OK, so... if Casey and Shaundi is the hookup that happened way too late, Casey and Johnny was the thing that probably shouldn't have happened, at least from their perspective. I feel like I could go into all the reasons it did in fact happen and it would be a whole fricken post plus you-know-who is involved and I'm trying not to bring him up in these 🤣

But I feel like these are more about how things would work if they did get together, let's say that was their most logical starting point. Except maybe not quite. Their romance scene obviously goes hard and it shaped the way I write Casey as rambling when she's emotional until someone shuts her up which is one of my favourite things ever honestly. But I can also see it being an instant, intense... considerably goo-smeared... kiss the minute they reunite.

There are also other moments where it could have happened; after the shared grieving of Aisha and Carlos, just before the bank heist (yes, I can't get over that thing I wrote even if it doesn't fit Casey. It could easily be rewritten to fit Casey, honestly. All that would need changing would be the thing about that Boss being a spoilt rich kid.). Either way I see this being something that would be most likely happen on the ship because it's the only place it really fits in their history. So if it happened then...

I mean it's GatBoss for god's sakes. I'm pretty sure I shipped them while playing 4. At the early stages of my fanfic they were implied to have a much less platonic journey too. But now with the developed character Casey is it's a lot harder to see it.

I mean they do love each other, it's not so hard to reframe that as romantic love. They have fun together, they like the same things. The getting to know you stage was so long ago I feel like they'd have to do a lot of it all again. Casey would absolutely tease Johnny about the 10 year age gap because he's squicky about it whereas she's not too bothered.

I don't think they'd really engage in PDA, I think they'd be pretty cute behind closed doors though. I think they'd argue a lot because they can both be incredibly stubborn at times, but the makeup sex would be incredible. I don't know who the fuck is going to be their live in chef after they take the new planet because neither of those fuckers can cook. Honestly they can hire someone from the pods or it'll just be Ben.

Johnny is absolutely one of the first to call Casey out on her bullshit. Yes, again this would lead to arguments. But you have to bear in mind he also really gets how her excuses about relationships and marriage are in fact excuses because he's known her forever. Eventually she'd confide her full past in him and he'd just connect the dots.

What does this mean? I think they'd get married. Relatively quickly. Johnny would bring it up when Casey starting asking about kids, honestly, which we know is something she wants from the presidency onward. Almost like a "Aight if we're gonna talk about this we're gonna talk about ALL of this." sort of thing. They'd probably be planning it pre-GOOH(by which I mean Pierce would be planning it with some input from Casey, because we know Johnny's disastrous at that) and originally planning it to be on the ship but then... honestly...

I don't know where that whole volleyball tournament takes place. But one could imagine it was on some purgatory-ish beach somewhere. People from hell were allowed there, people from heaven were allowed there, Johnny and Kinzie were allowed there. That's where Johnny and Casey would get married. That way everyone could come. Everyone.

They'd make sure to do it before the war for the planet. Speaking of which, the whole "pairing people up to make them get along" would go out of the window. The action couple is absolutely going out there side by side. Possibly without the robots seeing how that discussion came about. But the Saints would still win, I think.

God I feel like my response here has gone off the rails a bit I was just going to talk about their dynamic haha. Would they stand the test of time? Maybe. I really can't stress enough that I've literally never sat down and thought about this before.

So yeah. In my universe it's definitely a platonic soulmates vibe. But it's really not that hard to imagine a world where it's not platonic.

If you could make only ONE fairy tail ship of yours canon with the magic of your brain which ship would it be? Please ramble. 💚

Laxus/Freed no question about it. It's not even a contest.

Would I like the Levy/Lily/Gajeel polycule to be real? Yes, yes of course I would, but Gajeel/Levy is canon and that's enough for me.

Honestly out of all my Fairy Tail ships (which you can see a full list of Here on my Ship Blog) Laxus/Freed is the closest to canon, and the only one I'd think "Big Win" if it did go canon.

I've never cared much about a ship I like going canon anyway. It doesn't effect much other than the amount of people talking about it.

Honestly what I'd rather do is uncanon some ships.

Number 1 being Erza/Jellal. I have such a thing against Jellal and I apologize he deserved his redemption I'm glad he didn't just like. Die or vanish into obscurity but like! I hate the idea of him and Erza being a canon couple with children some day!! Hate it!! It puts a bad taste in my mouth. I hate being negative tho so I'm not gonna ramble about it too much...

You know what else I want to uncanon?? The ship that floats the whole damn story; Zeref/Mavis

I hate it I hate it I hate it so much I hate how fanon treats it all cute and shit when it's probably the canon most Dead Dove do Not Eat kind of content canon has given us. I don't hate it because it's Dead Dove, that's actually what's holding it together for me, what I hate about it is how integral to the plot it is, how True Love it's treated, how sweet and tragic and twisted by fate it's treated.

It's not! Any of those!! It's a 400 year old man falling in love with a 13 year old girl and yes she's 20 Years Old when he actually realizes what he feels is love but she's still!! Physically!!! Thirteen!!! That's the Point Of The Curse!!! And then!!!!! He impregnates her!!!! AFTER HE THINKS SHE DIES!!!! HELL-FUCKIN-O????

I LOVE Zeref, and I really like Mavis too, I love The Curse Of Contradiction inflicting them both, I love the twisted "love" Zeref feels for Mavis, I love his desperation to find something to love to cling to project on to to save him to fix him to make him feel human again, I love Mavis' bleeding heart, I love Mavis' desire to save Zeref to fix Zeref to make him whole because she's so ful lof love for the world around her and she can see he's suffering and need someone anyone to help him

I think they're story is wonderfully dark. I think Zeref's obsession with her is something I'd very normally adore reading about, but the way it's treated in canon and fanon as a wholesome romance lovers torn apart by fate Romeo and Juilet Bella and Edward bullshit really ruins the whole thing.

Zeref/Mavis is really fucked up and I think we should treat it as such. Not in a boo hate the artist hate the shippers way but in a fun acknowledgment of Dead Dove content way.

Baby Lost, Baby Found

so first time posting on tumblr, i got inspired by the idea of danny phantom being jason todds father from the story apartment 31c by @faeriekit

its going to be a bit long so,

I headcanon that ghosts can asexually reproduce but it takes some time to make sure that the baby is stable than if there was two ectoplasmic donors so its not commonly done or well known . so when vlad tries to clone danny he doesn’t know that he’s actually growing a lab baby and in the test tube while its forming the baby splits, becoming two babies, one more ghostly (ellie) the other more human ( jason ).

Danny feeling a strange tug at his core urging him to find something, something very important to him and he has to find no matter what, searches for weeks before he finds ellie and jason before vlad ages them up and he falls in love instantly. he looks at his beautiful daughter and son, cradles them carefully and takes them home olny telling jazz, sam, and tucker about their true origins, his parents lecture him about ‘how irresponsible he was for bringing two children into the word’ and ‘how hard it is to raise them’ and ‘how much personal time you have to give up to take care of them’ despite them not noticing that he had disappeared for weeks or that they spent all day in thier lab only coming out for food and bathroom breaks or to put a sample in the fridge because the basement fridge was full {they still haven’t noticed he’s died} . the babyies needed a steady intake of his ectoplasm or pure ectoplasm to stabilize so took them to school with him, not trusting his parents inventions to not accidentally shoot at his kids but thankfully the ghost have calmed down with their attacks ever since he got the kids only going after him after school and during holidays and toning down thier destructive acts.

During the summer holiday vlad invites the fenton family to a cruise ship no doubt trying to enact one of his stupid schemes with jazz unfortunately (or fortunately) unable to join because she was joining a charity for helping less fortunate kids as a volunteer so that she could add it to her resume also because she’s just a really good person and wants to help defintley not to get out of the holidy cruise with val of course not . During one of the cruses resocking pit stops he has to change ellie’s diaper because he’s a goid dad, so he leaves jason with his parents reluctantly after the insisted that he would be perfectly safe with them, jason having a dormant core barley exhibits any ghostly traits while ellie having an active core regularly floats, so his parents were less liely to think jason was a ghost tgan ellie, not knowing that as soon as he left the box ghost came to cause mischief, his parents immediately entering ghost hunter mode forgetting about baby jason.

Enter Sheila also on the cruise running a fake pregnancy scam on multiple people, getting desprate when few men fall for it but needing more proof from her, she decides to steal baby jason who was conveniently unattended to in the chaos happening and leaves before the cruise before the ship departs. She successfully registers the baby as hers saying that she gave birth to him on a cruise thats why she has no previous medical records and naming him jason based on the custom onsie he’s wearing that had in bold Baby Jason written on the chest and starts her scam once again. This time she’s more successful in her scam getting large amounts of money from different men, her having blue eyes, the baby having blue eyes, most people having black hair made it much easier, but now the baby was getting older and its harder to scam people with a larger baby so she doesn’t want him anymore so she hands him over to the only man stupid enough to believe that was truly his baby, Willis Todd, she dumps him in gotham and leaves.

Back at the cruise ship danny finishes changing ellie only to come out to the aftermath of the box ghost and search’s for his parents so that he could get his son back only to discover that his parents have once again neglected another child, their grandchild, in favor of their ghost hunting ways. danny feels devestated his baby boy is gone and the ship had already sailed a long way out from their last stop, he should have never trusted his parents, he didn’t care that they neglected him, but thier neglect now cost him his son. he leaves ellie with jazz once they reach home and follows the tugging in his core once again trying to locate his son, but this time it’s harder it took him weeks to find his kids the first time and that was when they were stationary, now sheila keeps moving meaning the direction of the tugging keeps changing and it throws him off the right track, until she reaches gotham and the tugging suddenly STOPS, danny is floating in the middle of nowhere when his connection with his baby just disappears without a warning. and danny is just terrified, he doesn’t know what has happened to his baby.

Jason is in gotham now, which is a ectoplasm deadzone, despite it being heavily covered in death energy. any time ectoplasm is formed its immediately sucked away by those who have recently died, barely being able to take enough to pass to the afterlife, and with the amount dieing in gotham the amount of ectoplasm is barely able to sustain jasons baby core. he has stronger senses and a better immune system from his ghost half but other than sharper canine teeth he doesn’t develop other ghostly traits over the years growing up, if he able to seemingly disappear in the shadows and move as silent as a ghost, it’s attributed to gotham strangeness.

jason is now 15 and dies waking up briefly in ghost zone only for the ectoplasm to kick start his core and kicks him back into his body six months after his death, back in to gotham the ectoplasm deadzone now unable to support his active core leaving him catatonic for talia to find and dunk in the lazarus pit. he spends three years in with the league of assassins before returning to gotham mad with pit rage and the need for revenge against the joker.

danny, now the ghost king , has never given up searching for his missing, despite not being able to locate him his bond reassuring him his son was alive, having moved out with his daughter and sister when she turned eighteen and cut off all communication with his parents. he’s in a meeting in the ghost zone when he feels his bond with his son flare up strongly only for it to disappear from the ghost zone not a minute later, leaveing him no time to search for him, but the bond is there, if barely, but it disappears again when jason is dumped in the lazurus pit, his signature corrupted from how it was when he was young. danny’s core aches from the sadness he’s feeling, the bond he has with his son is seemingly gone, he doesn’t know what to do now.

A year passes and jason is now nineteen a year after he came back to gotham, having reconciled with his family. but now the justice league is facing a world ending supernatural threat and they need someone or something powerful enough to face it, so who else other than the benevolent and kind ghost king.

constantine has the main league members do the ritual with him batman, superman, wonder woman, flash, green lantern, because the requires a lot of power. so they chant his titles, The Benevolent and Kind, The Great One, The Gate and The Keeper, The Guiding Star, The High King Of Infinite Realms, and a portal starts forming and slowly danny emerges in full royal garb, white hair swaying whisply in an invisible breeze, eyes a glowing green galaxy, crown and ring on full display. Danny opens his mouth to speak only to close it when he feels a weak, sputtering bond from someone standing at the back of the room, he cranes his head searching for the orogin of this bond and spots a young man, then it clicks, thats his son, that’s jason. he can’t believe his eyes, he finally found his baby, after nineteen years, he sinks to the floor and sobs.

Jason had always felt a strange feeling if longing that never seemed to go away, at first he thought it was from a lack of care from his parents, but it didn’t seem right to him, so after he bacame robin, and found out about sheil he thought that was where the feeling of longing was coming from, but then she betrayed him and he died at the hands of the joker. and in that one minute in the realm of the dead everything felt right only to wake up in his own grave and then get dumped in the pit. After getting dumped in the pit the longing was gone, and in its place was rage, like he had lost something very important to him and this made him unbelievable angry, so he went to gotham to exact revenge, and ended up reconciling with his family.

a year later he’s stading at the back the room as the justice league summons the ghost king, and as the king emerges the feeling of longing that was gone since his death starts sputtering to life, he looks at the floating man and the longing gets stronger, they lock eyes and the man shudders and sinks to the floor sobbing, he wants nothing more that to run to him and hug him, hold him and never let go, he has never felt such intense emotions towards someone in his life.

As he slowly walks towards the ritual, danny lifts his and revrently utters his name “Jason”

The enemy aimed to strike him down at every chance possible ,you couldn't stand by any longer, watching Ace fight alone and everyone fighting to save him,you loved him dearly he was your lover,you couldn't..just not do anything Summoning every ounce of courage, (Y/N) took a deep breath and charged into the fray, wielding your weapon with newfound determination. "I won't let them harm you, Ace!" (Y/N) shouted, surprising even themselves with their boldness , able to grab ace out of slippery situation from few soldiers Ace's eyes widened in amazement as he witnessed (Y/N) facing their fears head-on, standing tall beside him. "You're incredible, (Y/N)!" he exclaimed, filled with admiration and love "I own you my life" he mummers to you as you both continue fighting in hope to find ace a way out of this battle without him begin harmed But as the battle intensified, (Y/N) found themselves in a perilous situation. They had drawn the enemy's attention away from Ace, but it came at a great cost ,she saw ace trying to reach for Luffy to protect him Akainu, usually you would have frozen in fear ,but today wasn't the day,it wasn't the day or the time for you to be a coward,you loved him,he saved you by always Begin in your side ,he never once called you a coward,even though you were a bloody coward in every way possible,you didn't think before you ran with all your might, pushing both Luffy and ace out the way,but putting yourself in the way instead to buy them time, even for a little bit "I'll protect you, no matter what," (Y/N) whispered with a smile, gazing at Ace one last time before collapsing to the ground, your life slowly fading away, Akainu standing before your corpse, a harden look of disgust over him Ace's heart broke, witnessing the sacrifice you made to protect him was the Tears streamed down his face as he grab you Luffy drag him and you away from Akainu fast using his devil fruit to drag you both from Infront of Akainu, as chaos continue,ace couldn't think straight,it was a blur as they escaped ,it was a blur as he witnessed how many people sacrificed themselves for him As he stand Infront of your grave next to white beard grave, he stand with a brand fresh letter on his arm ,the first letter of your name, In that moment, Ace vowed to carry (Y/N)'s legacy with him and honor your bravery. In mid of chaos and as the strawhats are trying to fleet the threat of the admiral and the people trying to hunt them down for what happened earlier,Kuma appears, threatening to end the Straw Hat Pirates' journey. Zoro stepped forward to protect the crew as always as he had assigned himself as the crew main line of defensive and to always try to keep them safe from danger,he was in absolute pain , injured and unable to stand but he kept going in hope to keep everyone safe till they can reach back the ship (Y/n) witnessed that and couldn't bear the thought of seeing him more hurt, Determined to keep Zoro safe, (Y/N) mustered the courage they never thought they had and bravely stood in front of Zoro,Zoro looked surprised but determined "What are you doing, (Y/N)? Get back!" he shouted, worried for their safety ,(Y/N) took a deep breath and replied, "I won't let you face this danger alone, Zoro. I may be afraid, but I can't bear to see you hurt, let's face him together,we need to get you to chopper to get help!" With resolve in your heart, (Y/N) faced Kuma alongside Zoro, who fought fiercely but remained mindful of (Y/N)'s safety Kuma, was unshaken but he was for sure bit stressed that the crew is not aware of the danger you are all in now, he decided to do what he should have done the moment everything broke loose,He unleashed his Devil Fruit power, pushing (Y/N) away to a destination of his choosing , somewhere safe and somewhere where you will be able to recover from this battle As (Y/N) disappeared before Zoro's eyes, Zoro believed that Kuma had killed you The pain of losing (Y/N) crushed him, and he vowed to avenge their sacrifice but he was not fast enough to save you or save the others ,Zoro was filled with grief and guilt, blaming himself for not being strong enough to protect (Y/N) and the crew, He was determined to get stronger during the two-year time skip, hoping to never let such a tragedy happen again,During those two years, Zoro trained tirelessly , He honed his skills, pushing himself to the limits and beyond. The memory of (Y/N) and the crew's sacrifice fueled his determination, and he swore to be ready for any challenge that lay ahead After the time skip, the Straw Hat Pirates finally reunited on Sabaody Archipelago. As Zoro stood before their beloved ship,the thousands Sunny, Zoro's heart raced with anticipation and a mix of emotions. He had longed to see (Y/N) again, to know if you had survived and grown stronger like him To his surprise and relief, there stood (Y/N), looking stronger and more confident than ever. You had managed to survive Kuma's attack and found themselves in a land that challenged them to grow, just as Zoro had done ,As their eyes met, both (Y/N) couldn't hold back the tears. You rushed toward Zoro embracing him tightly "it's so good to see you again " Zoro whispered as he pat your back ,(Y/N) smiled through tears, "I promised myself to be stronger, just like you, and find my way back to you,I will never be afraid again for as long I fight for you and the crew" Zoro nodded, knowing that (Y/N) had proven their bravery and determination, The two shared stories of their experiences during the time they were apart, and Zoro admired your newfound strength and resilience and With the crew finally reunited, they set sail once again, ready to take on the challenges of the New World, Zoro and (Y/N) will find themselves facing new challenges though now but at least now ,you can trust yourself to always be able to be brave for the one you love

Kaku

Kaku, a skilled member of the CP9, found himself deeply enamored by a fellow agent named (Y/N),(Y/N) was charming, kind-hearted, and possessed an exceptional talent for gathering intel. However,you had a crippling fear of nearly everything that perhaps made you a more gathering Intel kind of Agent,one day, you had to be sent to a mission that had a risk of a fight,you were anxious but Kaku assured you you will do just fine,beside he will be there to have your back in case something happened As you made your way way through the base alongside kaku, your fears began to intensify. Guards patrolled the corridors, and the tension in the air was palpable. Kaku's heart ached seeing (Y/N) struggling,but he vowed to keep you safe anyway,In a critical moment, a guard spotted them and raised the alarm. Panic surged through (Y/N), but instead of cowering, you stood your ground. "Kaku, I'll handle this! You get to the data room! You are faster than me!" You tell him as you stand your ground ,Kaku hesitated for a moment, torn between leaving (Y/N) and completing the mission. But he trusted (Y/N) and rushed forward, leaving them to confront the guards. (Y/N) mustered courage, trying to quell your fears as you rush forward to stop the guards and buying kaku more time Meanwhile Kaku reached the data room and extracted the information you born needed to gather, But in his heart was with (Y/N), worried and yet proud of your courage and doing his gathering quickly to go join you before you get overwhelmed, not realizing you were holding your own against the guards,With each strike, your confidence grew, and you realized you were capable of much more than you had believed ,Just when it seemed they might be overwhelmed, Kaku arrived, finishing off the last guard. He looked at (Y/N) with admiration, "You were amazing, (Y/N)! Your bravery saved us ,you were so cool my dear,you kicked ass!" (Y/N) blushed, still trembling but with a newfound sense of accomplishment, "I-I couldn't have done it without you too! Thank you for trusting me!" From that day forward, (Y/N) started to embrace Thier fears, acknowledging that it was okay to be afraid sometimes and With Kaku's unwavering support, they continued to grow stronger and braver with each mission you took, (Y/N) learned that courage isn't about being fearless but about facing those fears head-on to protect the ones they loved. And in Kaku, they found a love that empowered and inspired them to be the best versions of themselves – fearless in their love and in the face of adversity
