He finds you interesting rather than amusing like he finds Athanasia

He has somewhat unrealistic standards for how children are supposed to act and, while you act in a way that's much more ideal for his preference of silence, your sister is the complete opposite

He finds himself wondering what was different in how the two of you grew up if you were both raised by Lilian but likes to test you in less than conventional ways

Your bluntness is almost unnerving to him at times, he doesn't know how to feel about someone who acts so similar to him, but, at least at the beginning, he does like to force you into uncomfortable situations, just to see how you'd fair not to mention using it as a way to try and force the bluntness out of you

He finds it amusing when your survival instincts kick into overdrive when you're already trapped in a survival mindset but perhaps that's only because of the lack of control he seems to be able to exert over you. You're so precise with what you say and yet it makes him feel less and less like he's the one in control of the situation

He can tell, even with how you act, that you're in a constant state of a survival mindset so he likes to put you into dangerous situations a tad bit more than Athy but comes to try and protect you more than Athy once he begins to care for the two of you because of it

Something about the way that you seem to act like a cornered animal yet keep so composed, makes you seem all the more fragile to him

She's honestly a tad bit scared of you

She doesn't realise that you too have been reincarnated until much later down the line, too caught up in what your presence might do to her future with her perceiving you to be much too similar to the man that she's trying to avoid meeting

You're highly intelligent and you're prefect at manipulating the situation which makes her feel somewhat scared that you might want her out of the equation until she realises that she could try and win you over in some way like she did with Claude

You're more than aware that she's taking advantage of the situation and you but you can't come to care when she's helping you stay in Claude's good graces, as much as you keep messing up with your bluntness

She feels a little guilty, before she knows that you've reincarnated as well - only seeing you as another obstacle that could bring her harm - that she's been using you the entire time but she doesn't realise that you're doing the same

She tries, as she continues along the story, to get close with you as her sibling but is met with a wall every time. She never does give up though, becoming something of an annoyance to you in a way that only Lucas can relate to

It's a give and take relationship, both of you never really admitting to caring about either one as you both just try and survive but she comes to sympathise really heavily once she realises that she's not the only ones who's been entirely aware the whole time

[ Anastacius ]

Anastacius honestly sees you as a thorn in his side. An interesting one but a thorn in his side nonetheless

When he plans, he doesn't take you into account, not expecting you to be intelligent enough to see through any of his plans and not having predicted your presence at all. He only knew you existed when you wanted him to and you would otherwise slip his mind

It was horribly frustrating that he could seem to figure you out and neither could Aternitas

He works around Athanasia because he's heard about how intelligent she supposedly is for a child but you're more toned down in that sense, detached even as a child and spoken much less about. How hard did he have to try to find out anything about you from only vague rumours?!

Even as you grew up, you stayed cold and short with people, too intelligent for a child and too competent even by an adult's standards

He finds it funny almost, so much so that it reminds him of himself and Claude. What else did he expect from his brother's child?

Athanasia was very weary of you, at first.

In Lovely Princess, you were an impartial character. You treated both Athanasia and Jennette the same, never favoring one more than the other.

At first, you did speak out agaist the claims of Athanasia poisoning Jennette. However, when the fake evidence was presented, you could only side with the law.

The novel didn't expand much on your personally.. You were just Jennette's beloved big sister, and Claude's first daughter.

So she was surprised when almost every day, without fail, you would come running to her nursery, begging whatever maid that was half-hazardly watching Athy to let her play with you.

Although only a few years older than Athy, you did more than the maids every did (aside from Lillian, of course). You happily bottle fed her, read her books, played toys with her.

Still, Athy kept her guard up with you. You'd think she's cute now.. but when Jennette comes along, you'd leave her side just like in the novel.

...

At 10 years old, your little sister was 5. After your persistant efforts, Athy had slowly let down her guard around you. It was alright to relax for now.. right?

Your days before Claude were blissful. You'd sneak Athy chocolates, bake sweets together while the maids gushed over how cute you both were. You'd spend hours in the flower fields braiding wildflowers.

At some point, you basically began living in the ruby palace. You'd crawl into bed with Athy at night, holding her against you as Lily read you both a bed time story.

Every single night a kiss was placed on her small forehead, and you both slept soundly in each other's company.

But that changed when Claude appeared.

...

Both something that you and Athy could agree on was that Claude was.. unknown to you both. He wasn't exactly a good father to either of you.

Still, you saw the opportunity for your family to become closer, so you jumped at the chance!

Every day you were in Claude's office begging him to have a tea party with Athy and her.

Every day you would ask for a bit of money to get Athy a gift - and then of course, suggest he should get her one as well.

Slowly, over time, you three bonded and became closer (even if Athy didn't want to admit it).

When Athy started drowning that one day, Claude watched as you nearly jumped in after her. But he grabbed you by your ankle before you could jump in, instead fishing his hand in to get her out himself.

That surprised you both. You were excited, while Athy was freightened.

Things really changed when Athy had that near-death scare, though. You three were having one of your usual tea parties, when Athy started spitting up blood.

The last thing she saw was you rushing to her side, and Claude staring at you both in shock.

After that incident, everything changed. Well - things stayed similar. You three had tea, ate dinner together, went on boating trips. But things just felt.. different.

You both could see the way Claude looked at you two had changed. You were cherished. And while you weren't super caught off guard about it, Athy certainly was.

Every day you were carrying her to Claude's office, and spent almost the whole day in there coloring, playing, or talking to Claude.

Claude started giving you both gifts.

When you appeared at his office one day with Athy, dressed in these adorable matching outfits Lily got for you both, Claude nearly choked at how cute his daughters were.

You three were getting closer, as if you were a real family.. and Athy felt like she could finally, really, relax.

...

As you both got older, your dynamic changed a little, but you were stiill very close.

You helped Athy with everything for her debutante. Choosing decorations, jewelery, makeupstyles to do, dresses to wear, you were involved in every step. And she couldn't have loved it more!

Compared to Athanasia's original debutante, the event didn't feel like an upcoming battlefield, but instead a day to celebrate with her family ....in front of a bunch of nobles, but we'll skip that.

She insisted that you were a dress that matched her's somewhat.

As a teenager, she's much more protective over you. Her darling, angelic older sister, she couldn't just let someone take advantage of you!

Definitely starts getting jealous when you start spending more time with your friends, or your lover.

Despite her fears, you never "left her side" for Jennette. You were always cordial towards her, but Athy was always your first priority.

When Jennette's identity was eventually revealed, despite the ongoing turmoils, you tried to act like family to Jennette, but that sister bond with Athy was a bit different.

And even if it was a little selfish.. she was immensely greatful for that. You were the only person to be on her side since day one.

You were always there during the hardest times for Athy. Even when she ran away, she couldn't bare to see you in distress, so she would visit you every night and keep you updated.

On one occasion, she snuck you out to meet Jennette..

..And it was wonderful! You three spent the night drinking tea, eating cute cookies, and chatting the night away.

It relieved you that, even though Athy wasn't home, she was still safe.

By the time Claude got his memories back, you three had the strongest relationship you'd ever had before.

You were.. a real family.

After everything with Anastacius was over, the topic of inheritance came about.

You were, by a good few years, the eldest.. and therefore, the rightful heir to the throne.

You expressed right away that you'd love for Athy to become Empress. But that's where she stops you!!

You've done everything for her in this life. If you weren't here.. she wasn't sure if she'd even be alive, let alone in Obelia.

So after much deliberating, it was agreed that you would be the next Empress of the Obelian Empire.

...Which meant, you had to hang out with Athy a lot less. It was torture for you both.

The bright side was that Athy got to involve herself in all aspects of the planning. She wanted you to have the best coronation, so she deemed herself in charge of the matter, along with Claude of couse. But she'd act like the boss because it's Athy

She helped you pick out a dress, decide on the hairstyle. You two spent countless nights doing makeovers on each other, because she wanted to try different makeup styles on you, and you wanted to try similar looks on her so that you were matching on the special day.

When the day came.. it was magcial.

You were surrounded by your loving little sister, your proud father, the friends you had made, and the empire that adored you.

Although Athy wasn't going to be Empress, you made sure to communicate to her that you two would stay as close as you always had.

Despite her original fate, Athanasia had earned her place of ultimate safety and happiness; right by her big sister's side.

• you're not getting bored of being a witch. but you're getting sick of being immortal. because you witnessed every war, deaths of many peoples and many more. the whole world had changed while you, you remained the same. if it's not for your friend, the master of the black tower. you will surely find a way to end your life.

• and what he did do when he finally saw you? let's just say that he hugged you tight which surprised you. and used his 'innocent' persona to gaslight you. you don't have to worry, lucas won't- no, he will never hurt you. manipulating you is a better option for him to make sure that you won't leave again.

author's note. HI SORRY FOR DISAPPEARING FOR MONTHS 🙈 to answer your question though - because of how easy it is for me to write for manhwa characters, i wanna say that i have no character limit... but alas, i gotta cap it at 3 so i can catch up with my other requests 😂

it'll take empress iris and aisha talking to ISIS to get him to realise his intimate feelings for you, and he'll immediately think of courting you once he's sure that what he feels isn't a product of him being in the heat of the moment. if he's already close with you, the way he endearingly treats you won't change but there will be a hint of shyness in his gestures.

his attempts at courting you may be a bit awkward, but there's no denying the heartfelt sincerity in every gift that he leaves in your hands. the gifts that he hand-picks himself reflect his innocent wish of making you the happiest person in the empire (as well as the time that he spends thinking about you).

as the crown prince, isis spends most of his time studying and training, and rarely has a moment to think about relationships. as a result, he would often turn to his father and mother for help. he'd take you out to the places they've suggested and would plan every date meticulously; courting you is an operation that he must succeed in!

he pays extra attention to you on your dates and considers those outings as your days. if there's a particular place that you want to visit, don't hesitate to tell him as he'll gladly bring you there on his carriage - or his horse if you ask him. something in a shop caught your eye? consider it bought.

during royal balls and banquets, isis will always make sure to ask you if he could be your partner for your first dance. he wants to be the one to lead you to the dance floor and show the audience that there is no one in the whole world who shines more brightly or beautifully than you. if he's the star, then you must the sky that allows him to exist.

despite being the crown prince, the way isis treats you will make you feel like royalty - and he's not being endearing just for the sake of getting your hand. every action and word of his is genuine, especially his promise to devote his faith to you and being your sword.

REZEF will kill a person, burn a mansion down, and even forsake his own country if it means that he can obtain you. with the way he was raised and treated as a child, it shouldn't come as a surprise that rezef views you as a property to own rather than a living human whose feelings he has to put above his own if he truly loves you.

you'll find yourself on the receiving end of his kindness and comfort more often, and you'll wake up to find expensive gifts piling up in your home. he doesn't bother leaving himself anonymous because he knows that once your parents are aware of the prince's courtship, it'll be hard for you to refuse his feelings later.

instead of taking you out to the places that you've never been to before, he'll invite you over for lunch or dinner with him in the palace and try to charm you. if you're cayena's close friend, she'll encourage you to get to know her brother better and will even go as far as putting in a good word for him to convince you; even if you're intuitive enough to realise that he's not someone you should get involved with, cayena's charisma is enough to make you inclined to accept rezef's invitations.

as the prince of his country, rezef is not short on money. if jamil tells him that you've been showing interest in a certain trend or have been eyeing some things in the shops, he'll order his servants to purchase those items and wrap them up as gifts to be delivered to you promptly. he doesn't stop to think about where you'll store his endless stream of gifts because if you run out of space, you always have the option of moving into the palace with him and becoming his beloved.

the more time you spend with rezef, the more possessive he is of you. only he's allowed to court you, only he's allowed to touch you, only he's allowed to love you. other people don't get those privileges, and if they try to steal you away from him, they'll face punishment even worse than death.

IJEKIEL is a gentleman at heart and wants to treat you with utmost care, believing that you deserve only the best. he's already kind to you, and you'll often find yourself being doted on by him in private.

he's quite romantic and would send you more love letters than gifts, which are reserved for special occasions such as your birthday. the words and emotions he normally wouldn't express to you in person are inked onto every sheet of paper folded and tucked into the envelopes that will soon find their way to your hands. sometimes, he would deliver his letter to you personally to show you just how genuine he is with his courtship of you.

when the two of you have a free slot in your schedules, he'd take you out for a boat ride and ask you about your day. don't spare him the details; he wants to know everything, so don't be shy about speaking freely around him. he likes listening to you ramble on about the things that make you happy as he watches your animated expressions with a fond smile. of course, he'll gladly talk about himself too if you ask him.

ijekiel will invite you to join him in night markets if you don't mind crowded places. it's the perfect opportunity for him to see what you really like and buy you a memorable gift that will hopefully remind you of this day whenever you look at it. these crowded night markets also give him a good excuse to hold your hand; you wouldn't want to suddenly be separated from him now, would you?

before every social event the two of you have been invited to, he would make sure to gift you something to wear to it, something that will obviously indicate whose heart you've captured. with how charming you are, ijekiel is positive that many suitors will approach you tonight, and wants a subtle yet effective way of warding off any potential threats to his courtship of you.

ijekiel always wants to be the partner of your first dance in balls and banquets. the moment he sets foot in the venue, he's weaving through the crowd, eyes searching for your familiar face. as soon as he finds you, he wastes no time in approaching you - and if you happen to be having a conversation with someone, he'll politely slot himself in to ask you if he could be your first dance partner.

➳You and her would be really close. Like inseparable. The maids could never separate either of you. If it were for lessons or going to bed, the two of you would end up back at each other’s sides giggling about the latest gossip in the castle.

➳Sleep over’s would most definitely happen at least once a week. You and your sister would plan them, talking about late-night snacks you would have the kitchen or even you and Athy would make, or what games you’ll plays. When you do have these sleepovers the servant has to constantly cheek on you at a certain time. You both would be up at 3 am probably trying to summon a demon, when Lily comes in scolding you both for being up this late.

➳It doesn’t matter if you’re young or older than her, Athy would be protective over you. She didn’t care about you making friends with other girls, it is only a problem when they try to become your best friend, (That role belongs to her) it’s the boys…The two of you could be at a ball chatting away when a noble guy comes over to you, ruining your peaceful moment by asking for a dance. She would send the poor guy the evilest eye Athy could make while clinging to your arm, that wouldn’t work but someone else’s did, another pair of Diamond eyes…Athanasia would just want the most perfect person for her dear sister and those noble boys were not it.

➳Now you and Athanasia do have your moments, but those rarely happen. When you fight it’s only because you or your sister want some alone time or one of you said something. You would never actually full-on fight with one another, just would be bickering. Sometimes you two do the silent treatment if you're really pissed off. But after a day you’ll be back at each other sides once more like you never had a fight.

Claude de Alger Obelia

➳Claude tries to be a good father but he fails. He just has no idea what he should do. Whenever you have those small tea parties, he just sits there watching you and Athy talk with each other and if Athy can’t make it, it’s just the two staring in total silence. It kind of freaks you out. With Claude’s cold dead eyes, as he gazes down at you, if you didn’t know him, you would think you were in deep trouble. It's always Athy who makes conversation, trying to get you to talk to one another, so you are both on your own in silence. You are both just really socially awkward. You do try to talk, but always stop when you realise that Claude isn’t listening. He is, but with his dull expression, it looks like he is not interested.

➳Claude knows quite a lot about you. From your likes and dislikes just by watching you and your sister chatting. He would ask the cooks to cook your favourite food or buy you something you wanted, like a new dress, jewellery or a puppy if you really wanted one. He’ll buy you whatever you want just so you know he does care about you he is just not that great at showing it, so the only way is to give you gifts.

➳Now just like his daughter, Claude is also protective over you (And Athanasia) but it is less obvious. Athy is clingy when she goes in protective mode. She makes it obvious that she’s jealous doesn’t like the guy, while Claude is a little bit different. Let’s go back into the ball scenario again. You're with Athy while he not that far away and a boy around your age (or older, there are many creeps out there) just strolls up to you and asked for a dance. The guy would be feeling an intense feeling, as though someone was burning holes in his head, the noble would look around and there’s Claude, with the deadliest looks ever given. Because the guy doesn’t have a death wish he leaves without another word, leave you and your sister alone in peace. But if the guy was older than 30 then your father is going to have a small “chat” with the man.

➳Claude and you didn’t have many father-daughter memories. He wasn’t a caring father until Athanasia came into the picture. But there is one he remembers. You were really young, around 6, It was late at night and Claude was fast asleep. You’ll come into his room with tears running down your face, shaking him awake. Claude isn’t the most nicest person when woken up so he when groggily opened his eyes to see you telling him about a horrible nightmare you just had, he would grab you by your tiny arm and pull you into the bed, telling you to shut up and go sleep. Maybe telling your child to shut up wasn’t the best thing, but you didn’t care, all you wanted at that moment was someone to keep you safe from the monsters and who’s better than your father. The next day when one of the servants comes and tries to wake Claude up, they would find a very wholesome sight. You snuggled up in your father’s arms, while Claude held you close to his chest so you wouldn’t fall off the bed. Yeah, you both had an extra hour of sleep until Felix waltzed into the room, waking both Claude and you up from your peaceful slumber. After that for a week, Claude made sure to give Felix a hard time.

Okay straight up he’s an asshole if you’re the younger sibling. Dude is gonna bully you like he’s the kind of sibling that would smack you across the head while your just doing your own thing and then both of y’all start an outright brawl in which you win obviously. (I have the feeling he’s the type to start fights and not finish them.)

If we’re talking about modern AU if you’re going to schools and stuff it’s going to be a private school cause ✨money✨ no one would know you’re related. It might either be because both of you look totally different and act differently from each other or nobody really asked if one of you had siblings.

He’s a caring brother but being an asshole comes first👍

“Hey y/n I bought ice cream!” Anastacius yelled from downstairs as he munched on the delicious and cold treat, as the air conditioner barely kept the room cold in the hot summer.

“Coming!” You barreled downstairs. “Okay where’s mine?” You asked noticing the absence of another ice cream neither in the bag nor in his hands other than the one he’s eating.

“Who said I bought you one?” He smiled innocently. “I just announced I bought ice cream.”

“You’re the literal worst.” You snapped at him as you turn to walk away back to your room. Something cold tapped on your head.

Que a montage of him following you around in terrible disguises as he pulls Claude along for the shenanigans cause he didn’t have anything better to do but secretly he’s also making sure they pass the vibe check. Or they’re getting vibe checked if you know what I mean

If your significant other breaks your heart he’s going to comfort you while also simultaneously plotting their demise with Claude just doing some friendly research on the best ways to hide a body results were inconclusive.

Anastacius loves his two younger siblings. Even if he’s annoying, steals your stuff, eat your food, smacks you for no reason, leaves your door open after he enters your room for nothing. He loves you and it’s honestly a surprise he’s still standing without being bitch slapped but dw Penelope did it for you that one time

If you’re the older sibling of this little demon, good luck with the random spurts of heart attacks. He was and still is the major cause of your grey hairs.

With his seemingly innocent face no one would suspect his extremely reckless ploy of getting back at other people for various reasons. The little shit holds grudges just like your youngest sibling.

He is a lot more sociable! He’s the social butterfly in the family but more of like a moth with his attraction to anything that might possibly lead him to be in a coffin. It’s just cause he trusts you and he knows you’ll always have his back thus the grey hairs.

“And I’d kill you myself if you don’t die on impact.”

“Where would we all be if siblings don’t constantly threaten each other with murder?”

He is more of the bad influence than you are as you can see, and he can be truly wonderful at convincing others to get on with his shenanigans. Just look at his senior Alpheus even he got roped into his little schemes.

I think he’d be more chill if you start dating anyone he trusts you can make the right choices in relationships. You literally took care of him and if both of you can survive that, you’re pretty much ready for anything.

Overall he’s a cheeky little shit and you’re on 24 hours baby sitting duty even as adults.

Claude starts off finding you to be one of the most frustrating people he's ever interacted with particularly because you're flirtatious nature reminds him of Anastacius and it bothers him to no end

He's used to women being flirtatious because he's emperor and it's in theory within their best interests to try and get as close to him as possible, but men being flirtatious irks him all too much more because you would think that you'd have a more important role to fill rather than going around and ‘seducing people' as he would put it

However, he does something akin to forcing himself to put up with you because, as a sorcerer, your magical prowess, even if you don't have as much mana as him, far surpasses his as it being your life's work and it's not advisable for the emperor to be on bad terms with someone with significant magical knowledge

He does, however, make it plainly clear to you that he does not want you within 20 feet of him. Preferably more though you simply don't listen to him when he tells you to step back and decide to get further into his space until he's forced to threaten you

Unfortunately he's serious about his threats and the only thing stopping him a large amount of the time is Felix's intervention

He only gets further annoyed by your presence when you start staying in the palace for some diplomatic reason or another to keep up relations between the empire and magic tower (he doesn't see the point with Lucas already staying but he knows that he can't convince you otherwise)

When day time work melds into the night, he'll find himself going to your chambers and entering (naturally, without knocking)

When he finds you sitting by the window, too caught up in your thoughts with an expression that he recognises on himself to hear him, he just leaves

It never really leave his mind but he avoids trying to find you when he knows that you would be alone. It feels too familiar to him and he doesn't like it. He's seen many that he would consider competent men fall to their thoughts and he doesn't like the idea of you 'lying' to him and hiding other feelings

Your incessant attempts to bother him for not meeting you so often only push him further down that road. What he doesn't realise is that this need to find out why you would dare lie to him becomes a need to make you honest to him in every way possible

He wants to know why you look so melancholy, yes, but with it comes him wanting to know why you're so flirty, why you're so playful, how he can make your facade of a smirk into an actual smile. Though of course he certainly isn't going to make that process easy for you

He still needs to get back at you for any times that you had successfully flustered him. They're far and few, yes, but he's certainly going to make them out to be much bigger than they are

a political marriage. everyone in the empire knows that their new emperor and empress got married to each other because of a political reason. you and claude don't love each other. and you will never dream of loving him because love is an unnecessary thing for the royalties like the two of you.

and at the beginning, claude also doesn't care about you. you are just the person he chose to be the empress. nothing more, nothing less. but, of course, just like a normal romance story, his opinion of you will surely change.

and when did it change? it was the time when he was having his night walk inside the imperial palace. and he accidentally saw you, you who's swinging a sword. even though you were not smiling, he could easily tell that you were really happy.

it was the first time that he saw you like that. because the day of your wedding. your face was similar to his, cold and emotionless. after watching you for several minutes. claude finally decided to approach you.

and let's have a time skip, let's say that claude had finally met diana. and this guy thought that you'll gonna be jealous, but you didn't. instead, you congratulated him for finding a woman who will teach him about love. and remember that time still left a bitter taste on claude's mouth.

he wants you to be jealous. but he can't do anything if you didn't. since you were taught that love is an unnecessary thing. and to be honest he wanted to massacre the people who taught you that.

and fast forward to the day diana died, athy was born and the ruby palace massacre happened. after killing every person in the ruby palace. claude came to your palace, covered in blood.

and fuck, you were terrified after seeing how claude killed one of your servant in front of you. you were too terrified to the point that you can't speak and your hand was shaking because of fear.

but claude didn't care about that. instead, he held your face not caring about the blood on his hand and forcing you to look at him.

he needs you to know. he needs you to know that he's willing to kill everyone in the obelian empire once you leave him. he needs you to know that he had the power to massacre your family in front of you if you leave him. and he has no intentions of letting you go.

claude already lost diana and he doesn't want to lose you too. he knows how dangerous it is outside the imperial palace. that's why he needs to lock you up here. and this guy won't take a ‘no’ as an answer.

and if you ever tried to starve yourself to death. claude won't hesitate to shove that damn food onto your mouth. you are the only person in this damn world who keeps him sane. and he will not take the risk to lose you.

claude doesn't mind taking away your freedom. he doesn't mind being a monster, as long as he is your monster.
