Today’s album: Nina Simone “Wild As The Wind” (1966) The name was familiar to me from hearing Lauryn Hill mention her name in the song “Ready or Not.” I may know some of her songs but never made the connection. I have listened to this album and nothing sound familiar but this is a fantastic album deserving of it’s spot on the list. l will have to dig a little deeper into her extensive discography.
