I have the SWEETEST boyfriend :'D he keeps asking me how I am, how my day was, am I cold, have I eaten, etc. etc. and I can't explain it, but his smile is so beautiful, I sometimes feel like I'm in a state of near collapse when he cranks it up to full strength. Also he is the Sweetest.

That being said, I am NEVER getting over the novelty and delight and also surprise of calling him and being able to call him and having the right(???) to call him my boyfriend, because WOW he's my WHAT?? Eh??? MY??? BOYFRIEND????? My what????

Okay legit people act like Wonder Egg Priority had an actual ending and didn’t get cut off in the Darkest Hour and that its story should be treated as one that’s complete. The producer was hospitalized twice, they had to have an unplanned recap episode, and the finale was 50% reused footage and the rest was outsourced. It’s insane to me that people take that ending as if its intended to be where the series left off instead of a tragic “capitalism murders art yet again” scenario where they had to throw together Some Kind Of Ending under extreme crunch.

i still can’t believe i used to write film ~reviews~ on here all the time, like i just felt super obligated (and, even more confusingly, willing) to spend like 30 minutes (and sometimes much much longer) trying to come up with the longest run-on sentence i could imagine that was often completely unreadable and yet... it made me feel so accomplished! sometimes i’ll reread some of them and the best ones still kinda impress and certainly resonate with me ngl (and i do sincerely hope they did/do for you too) but the vast majority of them read as someone so desperate to have a “voice” when in reality... i really don’t think i’m all that opinionated lol, like i just wanna have fun, you know?

i’m grateful i get to speak to my old patients again

#i’ve spoken to quite a few of them these past few weeks #some remember me some don’t #the ones that don’t remember me have no reason to — i quietly worked in the background facilitating their healthcare #the ones who do remember me are the ones who had to come in every week for INR checks #or patients who were severe diabetics and were able to get their medications because i helped appeal their insurance companies #i spoke to a woman today who was so grateful to speak to someone who remembered her husband #i told her i even remember the day he passed #and i think of him every year on that day #she wondered why & had no idea that i was the one who took the ME’s calls. i processed his death certificate & deactivated his chart #patients had no idea just how much behind the scenes work went into keeping them healthy #but also keeping them stress free in times of hardship or death #because she felt like she was losing him sll over again by not talking about him. then we talked about his favorite snacks #she told me by the end of the call that she felt she was meant to get me specifically on the phone today #that our conversation was a gift from her husband in disguise #and i can’t stop thinking about that #maybe it’s true. her husband liked me too
